This story has grown more complicated since I started writing, but I’ll try to keep things simple. The latest development is a massive argument between Amber Rose and Khloe Kardashian. The original matter involves a silly, long-standing feud between Amber Rose and the Kardashian Klan. Perhaps “feud” isn’t the correct word, but there’s a lot of history. Amber Rose used to date Kanye West, who (as everyone knows), is now married to Kim. Amber is now best friends with Blac Chyna, who used to be best friends with Kim. Kim and Blac Chyna fell out because Blac Chyna used to be engaged to Tyga (25), but he’s now with Kylie Jenner (17). And Tyga works with Kanye, but that doesn’t really matter much.
Amber visited Power 105.1 to promote her fabulous self. She may have been pushing her New York fashion week appearances. She modelled underwear-less chainmail for the Laurel DeWitt show. Amber talked some trash about Wiz Khalifa using up his “three hall passes” and cheating too much. The more interesting part is when she talks about Kylie and Tyga:
Amber has changed: “I became a mother. I’m not at the club every night, downing shots. My priorities changed for sure.”
On Tyga datying Kylie “She’s a baby, she needs to go to bed at 7 o’clock and relax. That’s ridiculous. [Tyga] should be ashamed of himself. For sure. He has a beautiful woman and a baby and left that for a 16-year-old who just turned 17.”
Her upcoming self-help book: “Every mistake that I’ve made so far, I’m showing these girls how to not do that. It’s like I’m Jesus. I made the mistake for them.”

Amber pulled out the claws for Tyga, who’s dating underage Kylie. I’ve seen a lot of people say the same thing for months. Of course Kris Jenner doesn’t care about the age of Kylie’s boyfriends. The more controversial, the better when it comes to attention for her family. The age gap between 25 and 17 is significant. Kylie is still a minor until she turns 18. Under California law this is statutory rape and is at least a misdemeanor.
Now Khloe Kardashian has entered the argument. She and Amber are tossing “wh*re” at each other on Twitter. You can see those tweets here. No one is winning.

It’s about to get real: Amber calling out Tyga put rumors to rest and solidified the whispers. Apparently, her teachers got that confirmation along with video of her dancing around a p3nis cake for her 17th bday LAST YEAR with Tyga giving her a bottle to down and encouraging her. So they’ve called the authorities. Well, MTO says that CPS was called, so who knows if that part is true. I hope it is. I’ve been wondering where her teachers are since her family gives negative fux about her.

I agree. I always think about this popular picture that gets posted depicting Tyga and Kylie from five years ago. It’s disturbing to say the least.
Furthermore, Amber wasn’t even calling out Kylie or her family (though the latter needs to hear it). She rightfully put it on Tyga. Khloe sounds like a bitch – mocking someone for something they had to do at a young age to support her family – and a hypocrite – how is her sister any different? Good for Amber for pointing it out. khloe’s retreat was hilarious.
Final thought- I get that school isn’t for everyone but there are six kids in this family (not including Brody, et al). You’d think one of them would want to go to college or grad school or do something other than be in the spotlight. Just goes to show, Kris’s influence is strong.

I think Kris Jenner puts it on her kids to support the family, too. She just does it in this fake, rich lady way. And Bruce Jenner is no better. Speak up for your child, and stop focusing the attention on your transition. I get that it’s a relief and a long time coming, but you are still this child’s parent and she is dating an adult. Do something! Kris sucks, but you’re her parent as well! This is what happens when adults put all the pressure on kids to raise themselves and support a family.

Agreed on Khloe and her responsibility as a sister. When I was 18, I was insaneo crazy over a 23-year-old man. Not as big of a difference, but there were a lot of other issues beyond just the age. My older brother “ratted me out” to my parents and I was so angry at him at the time, but looking back he was loving me the way an older sibling should (and I’m extremely lucky to have had parents that acutally saw it as an issue)

No 15 year old should be responsible for their family’s rent and food and they should be in school, not looking for a full time job because the parents won’t work. Amber’s parents are to blame for that. And, sadly, she still kind of lives that life, and so do her friends- in and out of relationships, kids with the wrong people, trying to live the life of permanent 20 year olds. But so do the Kardashians. They just hide behind their money. Kris Jenner slept around and let her kids raise themselves until they were old enough for her to make money off of. Kourtney and Scott barely work and she keeps having kids with an addict. Kim has been through more men than you can count, and her mom encourages her to sell her body. Khloe married some guy she knew for a week and now is with someone’s husband who admits to using her. Kylie is with a grown man who already has a family he left for her. Bruce can’t be bothered to rein his kids in because he has put his own struggles first, even though he brought six children INTO this world. Amber knows what she is- not necessarily commendable- but the Kardashians don’t. They live parallel lives, but one is clear on who she is and where she’s from, and the others try to cover all bases, pretending to be hood when it works for them, and using their rich kid lives when it works for them.

Thanks for explaining the back story because I have no idea who some of these people are. Unless things have changed, yes it’s true that technically according to CA law a 25 year old and 17 year old is statutory rape. (In some states the age of consent is younger than 17) BUT I think the adults in charge of the minor have to actually call the authorities or nothing is done. If that’s still the case, we all know Bruce and Kris will most likely will not do anything about it. If they haven’t by now, they aren’t going to. I find that more bothersome than the rest of the things this family does.
I suppose if she got pregnant and delivered before age 18, medical authorities might be required to report to social services that she is a statutory rape victim, and DNA testing could prove the father’s identity, and then charges might be pressed… I think that’s what happened in some of those cases of the underage Mormon polygamist’s wives…

Khloe herself dated a 22-year-old- when she was 14, so to her, a 17-year-old dating a 25-year -old probably isn’t a big deal. I have mixed feelings about the age gap itself. On the one hand, if Kylie were just 6 months older (she’d be 18), nobody would really care if she was dating a 25-year-old, so it’s a little hard to be upset about something that in just 6 months time I’d be totally fine with. But on the other hand, that is big age gap- if he were just 20 or even 21, I wouldn’t even bat an eyelash. But what tips the scales and takes the relationship from being just on the questionable end of acceptability to totally inappropriate for me is not just the guy’s age, but his alleged predatory past and the fact that he has a baby and an ex and is off to date a 17-year-old.
The Jenner parents and the older Kardashians really shouldn’t support Kylie being with a guy like this if they know all about his history. As for Kim…I think the situation is that Khloe thought she could get smart with Amber and score an online point or two and didn’t realize the woman would hit back so hard. Khloe, to me, was implying Amber was this desperate dirty stripper while her little sister was so successful. What is Kylie successful for? Dropping out of school? A failed book ghost-writen by someone else? Her hairline or her augmented lips? How did she get that success? Well it all goes back to Kim. Kim is successful because she did the equivalent of worse of what Amber did. So they (and Kim’s whole family) are successful because of what Khloe is trying to shade Amber for? It sucks for Kim but it became fair game as soon as Khloe tried to use that stripper line.
Truth be told I just don’t see Amber as being wrong. She did the best thing by not condemning Kylie but instead putting the onus on Tyga, Khloe reacted and Amber defended herself and also brought a painful reality for the Klan into the fight.
I don’t think saying Kylie is a baby and should be in bed at 7 is an insult or coming at her. I read it as her conveying how young she is compared to Tyga. He was the one she blamed and insulted. My sister is only 11, but when she’s 17 I’ll be 32 and if she started seeing some 25 year old with a kid I would tell her the same thing and applaud anybody who would say the same. I would love to know why the Kardashians think they’re any type of hood when they’ve been spoiled, sheltered and rich their entire lives. I haven’t always made the wisest decisions but my family was always there to call shi*t on them and now i’m glad that they did. Sisters look out for each other. Americans can be strange, but I don’t think having issues with teenagers having relationships with much older men (or women) is one of the reasons. Older people go for teenagers because of the control and manipulation. No matter how mature a teenager is, she or he cannot compete with someone much older and more confident. It’s exploitative and plain wrong. It’s not a relationship between equals.
This. I actually think the US’s attempt to push some of the consent and legal issues to the later teen years to be one of the things it’s gotten right. Like jenn12 said every single teenager on the planet thinks they’re so brave, grown-up, mature and beyond their fellow teenagers but in the end they’re all so young, inexperienced and naive.
While we can admit some might be more mature then others the truth is there’s still developmental shifts that haven’t happened that separates ALL teens from adults regardless of jurisdiction. Older people dating teens is gross. They’re looking for a specific kind of individual and dressing it up with love – which the teens adore hearing never questioning how that person could look at them sexually until they’re older themselves.
Exactly. The older people feel a confidence and control because the teenager is adoring. Even if the older person is a 22 year old working in a pizza shop with no education, the teenager doesn’t see him/her as a loser, s/he sees the older person as the cool romantic interest paying attention to him/her and has a car or whatever. No 25 year old should be at a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD’S birthday party, encouraging her to take shots, or talking about how she will make a great mom because she already takes good care of his son. Spend that time taking care of your actual child. I’m not saying to infantilize teenagers, but they’re still kids themselves. They should be protected from adults who want to prey on them.

Yeah it makes little sense to stereotype an entire nation but it’s a pretty demonstrable fact that Americans are, in the main, far far more Puritan when it comes to sex than other western nations. The age of consent being 18 is a prime example. You’ll trust a 16 year old to own and operate a car, a machine that kills thousands of people every year, but not to decide to have sex with someone? I give this particular relationship a heavy side eye for several reasons (that he hung out with her when she was a pre-teen is the main one, if he’d only met her at 17 the side eye would mostly be about her stunning lack of education) but it wouldn’t actually be illegal in most of the western world. It would be completely legal where I live and no-one gave a toss when I dated an older man at 17. Probably because they figured if I was mature enough to join the army and pay taxes I could probably be trusted to decide who I slept with.

I think my comments are coming across as though I support Kylie and Tyga, and the Kardashians at large, and that really isn’t my intent. I’m just bothered by the support that Amber seems to get, when, to me, they are two sides of the same coin.
I can understand the desire to defend and protect a sibling. I think for me I feel like that family has failed so badly at that task that I doubt they truly ‘care’ about each other. Like you said you’d defend your sister from a guy like Tyga and a comment like Amber’s but Khloe has only done one of those things. Kylie will end up a lot more fcked up from Tyga than what Amber said and the fact is Khloe admitted to losing her virginity at 14 to an 18 yr old and how much it damaged her. I’m a mixed bag on that kind of loyalty. I’ve defended my brother plenty of times but I wouldn’t want to defend him if he was wrong for something. I know it feels good to have someone’s back like that and vice versa, but part of having someone really care about you is them caring enough to see you get better. A lot of people have the kind of loyalty where the person degenerates because they have people that would rather defend their name than see them do better. I am not speaking about you at all btw, just generally.
I understand your position. I think there’s just so much wrong with society sometimes that it feels good to have someone of equal value publicly call it out. I know for Khloe she probably went into sister-mode but her version of sister-mode seems so cheap. I think if she displayed the same concern you have for your sister then her picking up this particular battle wouldn’t be mocked so much.
Yes, but Amber didn’t really say anything all that terrible. She put most of it on Tyga, where it belongs. Khloe should be protecting her sister from a predator who has known her since she was a tween, not from remarks that ring true. Amber was allowed to live a rough life and that was wrong, but there’s no excuse for Kylie’s family allowing her to live the life of someone in her 20s and not wanting to be called on that. Khloe, don’t let your teenaged sister have penis birthday cakes and drink alcohol with a 25 year old at her own party and have a relationship with a grown man who has his own kid. He left his girlfriend and their son for a 16 year old, so I doubt they’re at the holding hands stage. Khloe needs to protect her sister from Tyga, Kris, Bruce, and herself.

EXACTLY! A bit off topic, but growing up I was friends with a girl whose sister would defend her constantly and literally fight her battles even though she was always wrong, and because of this she went on to constantly start with people purposely because she knew her sister would back her up even though she was wrong. It doesn’t matter who the person is, if they’re wrong you should not defend them. This does not help the person, it hurts them because it sends them a mixed signal that they’re special, the rule don’t apply to them, and they can do whatever they want. This kind of “loyalty” is why Kylie is 17 years old with a store-bought face and a 25 year old boyfriend – because nobody has ever said “no, you’re wrong” to her so she thinks the rules don’t apply to her.
Khloe is a lot older than Kylie so instead of acting like Kris Jenner does and trying to be Kylie’s friend instead of an older sister/mother figure, she should be telling her sister that getting involved with a man who is too young for her is a mistake. Especially since Khloe has her own experience with being involved with older men and supposedly regrets it.

I have a photographic memory I remember what I read for a good long time. Its not been over a week ago a article about NYC fashion week with all the Kardashians and Kendall being in NYC except Kylie …Where was Kyle…quote Kris She was spending her time at their “good friend Tygra’s house even staying over a couple of nights while he keeps a eye on her” for Kris……. A17 yr old spending a couple of night at a 25 yr old man who she is dating house by herself with permission from her mother… Two days later she was in NYC because Kris took some flack about her leaving her alone and was trying to distract from leaving her alone….
This all started because Amber was asked her opinion on a radio show about Tygra ….She didn’t bring it up ..the interviewer did….and she only called Kylie a “baby” for goodness sakes …not like she said she was a slut or something…..Khloe was dead wrong to go at her …and got her plastic butt handed to her on a platter…
