Robert Pattinson wants us to know that he doesn’t smell. His latest story is that he does, in fact, shower. I’ll believe it when I see it. Pattinson gave an interview to Moviefone, and he claims that he loves his bad press, saying “I only look at the negative stuff. I just want to know whoever’s saying negative stuff, and I just want to remember their names.”
Robert also says something strange – that he hasn’t even been on the set of New Moon yet, so how could people know that he smells? Right. He’s been on the New Moon set for several weeks, sending Canadian fangirls into overdrive, to the point where the Mounties had to be called in. Whatever, Rob:

The Twilight hottie might be hard pressed to find too many bad things out there, beyond the weird rumors about his personal hygiene, that is.
“I haven’t even been on the set yet!” he says of the report that he smells bad on the set of New Moon. And when told that Zac Efron suffered through the same bad hygiene buzz, RPattz is quite surprised, and admiring.
“Really? He looks like he smells really good,” he laughs. “I also do shower.”
And beyond the legions of girls who don’t care whether he bathes or not, Ryan Reynolds recently called Rob “dreamy,” so it’s no wonder he’s got his sights set on working with his fellow hunky actor.
“Ryan Reynolds!” he laughs when asked who he’d like to work with in the future. “I’ve always wanted to work with Benicio Del Toro, I think he’s amazing. And there are tons and tons of people.”

I don’t find him attractive, and he sounds like a weirdo. I have watched Twilight yesterday and found it boring. Don’t think it’s movie material, TV material at best.

I agree. Robert Pattinson is somewhat attractive but the reason why he looks better in the Twilight movie is because of all that makeup that exaggerates the prettiest features, like the red lips, stand out bright eyes with that really pale skin. That kind of make up (applied by a skilled makeup artist) would make anyone look more appealing.
PS, Although he has a strong bone structure, that works against him most of the time and that is why he looks ugly eg. like the photos above. Finally yes, he does look like he stinks to high heavens and if he takes showers then I would say it was because his people reminded him and told him to, he looks like the type of guy that if left to his own devises, he would not shower for weeks.
I can show him hands on how to shower!!!

I seriously hope that if you’re going be posting Robert’s every brainfart here, and Kirsten Stewart’s every other whine, that you’ll also be posting Taylor Lautner interviews too because, frankly, while I liked some aspects of the Twilight book, the only reason I made it all the way through New Moon, and the remaining two books is because of Jacob.
And Jacob, as portrayed by Taylor, really stood out for me in the film (which by the way, I happen to think SUCKED, so he actually made it bearable with what amounts to two tiny cameos. I didn’t know who the hell he was but I actually woke up when he came on screen.)
So show the Team Taylor and Wolf Pack fans some love. Not everyone is Bella/Edward = truluv4eva, or swooning over Pattinson and Stewart either, for that matter.
If I have to keep hearing about New Moon, more Taylor stuff please.
Don’t worry, Taylor will become much more popular. I just finished the last book yesterday,and I STILL wish she was with Jacob. He will have a lot of time in the next movie, and I’d much rather look at him anyday over R.Pattison. That guy can either looks pretty good, or really bad. I agree with Enonymous – he only looks really good in the movie because of all the make up and attention.

Lord, I wouldn’t wish Bella on anyone but Edward – those two deserve each other in every possible sense – and it’s so much better when they inflict their personalities on each other rather than innocent bystanders.
But I have to say, Jacob always sounded more fun – even when I wanted to smack him upside the head, even he was miserable – he was STILL more appealing to me than Edward.
I know saying that is like opening the floodgates for ten-million Edward fans to descend with a vintage supply of h8terade – but for me, it’s true.
I think he’s adorable. As is the guy who plays Jacob. I don’t believe he doesn’t shower. With all that makeup being piled on for the filming, you’d kind of have to! I loved the entire series, but thought the Twilight movie sucked butt. I’m hoping they step it up for the next ones!!
i think rob-not edward-always looks good. personally i thought he looked just o.k. in the movie, but an absolute dream in real life. he’s a bit like a powdered donut in the movie. the movie was a disappoint after the book series, but then again most movies based on books are. i can’t wait to see him in some meatier roles with worthy coworkers.

Robert Pattinson is just an average person that everyone is fixated on. Yes, he is extremely good looking, but looks are in the eye of the beholder and subjective based on individual preference. Robert is a sweet, kind and genuine person and I’m sure that there is more to him that just good looks; like a wonderful personality. He has a wonderful ability to make people laugh and have a good time when around him. I wish there were more guys out there that had half of his personality and genuineness. He is an amazing actor and wonderful singer. Twilight was awesome. Little Ashes looks great and I can’t wait to see How To Be!
He probably hasn’t been on a set yet because they just finished rehearsals. And you can have bad body odor and STILL shower. You just aren’t as “fresh” as everyone else at the end of the day. That’s what deodorant is for. He’s British for Pete’s sake!
I wish Robert would just GROW UP and realize he’s nearly 23 and should wash himself, hair included!!! He thinks it’s all funny, but I know a lot of people who now thinks it’s just gross! Maybe he’ll get some kind of hair fungus and it will all fall out…then where would he be?
If you bothered to do any research, Kaiser, beyond your increasingly poorly written and erroneous, self-aggrandizing articles, you would know that Pattinson has, in fact, not been on the set since makeup tests a couple weeks ago. The Mounties were called in to the set because of Lautner and Stewart and the insane numbers of fans trying to get close to them on the set. Not, as you point to your own secondhand gossip article to corroborate, because of Pattinson.
By yourself, Kaiser, you have driven away many regulars of this site with your misleading, clique-ish, childish posts clearly meant to incite arguments, which you perpetuate by jumping all over anyone who doesn’t agree with you. He’s just typically English to me. I seem to remember they like baths in winter ugh – twice a week, and then a splash in the sink other times. Also Poms are generally self depreciating and odd when pressed too hard.

At one time I liked Rob, but then started ready more and more about him and he seems like one of these manic depressive actors. He hates having his picture taking. He’s a loner. Hates crowds for fear of getting shot/stabbed. Doesn’t like any of his own work. Or he sounds like a bit of a man-whore. Telling his friends he can’t ge laid in NY. Hmm…It’s hard to say. I for one preferred the books to the movie. It seemed very low budget, not really living up to the hype. …and I would love to find a picture of Kristen Stewart out and about while she wasn’t stoned.

I disagree about the movie, I thought that Robert did a great job. These are young actor’s and actresses who worked very hard to bring these books that we all love to life. They didn’t write the script.. The plaied their parts. It’s hard to take a book and make it into a movie, We all should know this. I mean how many movies have come out better then the book? Not many and knowing that we have to take as it is.

i think he looks like he smells normal, alot of people dont really wash their hair with soap and stuff to make their hair more moldable, and it works for him plus he wouldnt smell just from not washing his hair with soap, plus its commonly used by frequent hair dyers to keep the color in so its not like its an abnormal thing
