The High School Music gang were the biggest winners at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards on Saturday. In addition to HSM winning “Favorite Movie”, Vanessa Hudgens picked up the award for “Favorite Movie Actress” while her boyfriend Zac Efron seethed with jealousy as Will Smith won “Favorite Movie Actor”. In addition to Sandra Bullock, Hugh Jackman, and The Rock, Miley Cyrus, Vanessa and Zac all made it to the event. Still, the red carpet was pretty boring, probably because the fashion at this event was questionable at best. Vanessa Hudgens appears to be wearing Daisy Duke-style too-short cut-offs. To a kids’ event. And Miley Cyrus wore too much make-up. It makes wonder if these awards shows geared towards the tween set are just a forum for forcing kids to grow up too soon.

No surprise over Miley Cyprus’ and HSM win. Kids awards… what more can I say?
At least Miley Cyrus and America Ferrera (sp?) looked nice. Their dresses were beautiful.
Zac and Vannessa are a cute couple. I she nothing wrong with the way they are dress. It’s with in the theme of the show. I don’t care how Miley dress she is still skanky. I didn’t like what Cameron Diaz was wearing, the top looks very mature while the jeans looked very teeny. I wouldn’t blame her if she never attend the kids choice award show any more-her being there is a bit old and tiring.
Kind of screams ‘slow year’, doesn’t it?
Also, no offence, but if you can’t dress badly in your teens to early twenties, when the hell are you supposed to dress badly? You want them to wait until they’re in their forties?
I hope not.
I mean, I can see America Ferrera’s sternum, her dress is that low cut. I’d say Hudgen’s shorts are more appropriate to her age group even if they are revealing a lot of leg.
Their dress looks semi-casual/relaxed which I think is what you’re supposed to go for at these events.
Cyrus looks like she’s trying to dress twenty years above her age group.
oh come on, Miley isn’t THAT dressed up. It’s almost like a semi- formal ripple dress. I think it’s cute! Nothing wrong with dressing a little nice mixed with a summery feel. It’s an award show!
Kids awards are to legitimate awards shows as a cow is to a Miata.
Bad fashion pretty much sums this whole shindig up. Miley looks alright – I think the dress is simple and appropriate.
If anything, it’s Vanessa Hudgens that needs an immediate change of clothes. Oh, and Cameron Diaz. Cos I really don’t know what the hell she calls that polka-dot-and-trashy-jeans ensemble.
On second thought, everyone at the KCA just looks nasty and in desperate need of a stylist.
Stop hating on Miley. If you click Demi Lovato’s picture, you’ll see she s wearing a lot of make-up too.
