In yesterday’s post about Ben Affleck’s nanny running up a $12k hotel bill I tacked a story onto the end from Page Six. The Post had obtained a photo of the nanny, Christine Ouzounian, sitting in a private jet and sporting Tom Brady’s four Superbowl rings. Apparently when the nanny took Affleck’s private jet with him from The Bahamas to Vegas, Brady was along for the ride. They were going to Vegas to attend a charity poker match that Ben was organizing. Ouzounian had been sent home from the Bahamas by Jennifer Garner, who told her that she was being too emotional to care for their children. Ouzounian was emotional because she had just spent five days boning Garner’s husband before Garner arrived. When Garner later found out that Ouzounian didn’t go home on Affleck’s jet and instead spent four days with him in Vegas she sh*tcanned Ouzounian and announced her divorce. (I think she didn’t expect the nanny news to go public but once it did she dealt with it.)
Anyway you guys probably know all that as we covered the People magazine story with those details, but they’re interesting background. After Page Six ran that photo, People had some damage control from Affleck and Brady’s camp. Apparently other people on the plane were also wearing Brady’s Superbowl rings (were they in his luggage and did he pass them around? I don’t get it) and Ouzounian went to Vegas to help out at Affleck’s poker tournament. Sure she did.
The Post’s new report says Affleck kept Ouzounian hidden during the Vegas trip, but a friend of Affleck – who has denied any affair took place – says that isn’t true.
“They were headed to his poker tournament for his charity,” the friend says of why Ouzounian left the Bahamas with Affleck. “She was in no way hidden. She was in fact helpful in encouraging donations, and there were other Affleck employees with him. If this was supposed to be some romantic getaway, this was not it. Ben was there to focus on his charities.”
Affleck’s friend adds that “there were other people on the plane who tried on the rings.” After the tournament, Affleck returned solo to rejoin Garner in the Bahamas, where they announced their divorce on June 30.
Affleck, a Boston native, has been friends with Brady, 38, for years. There is no suggestion that anything untoward happened between Ouzounian and Brady, who has been married to supermodel Gisele Bündchen since 2009.
Page Six has more of a detailed denial from Affleck. It’s worth reading in its entirety but the gist is that he’s claiming it wasn’t an intimate trip. “There were many other people on the plane, including other assistants and staff working for Ben who were helping with the event, and many of these also tried on Tom’s Super Bowl rings and took photos.” Let’s see the pics then. That would be the quickest way to shut this down. It would also help out Brady, although I don’t think this reflects too poorly on Brady.
What’s interesting to me is the fact that the nanny leaked this photo to Page Six. She obviously did that, because Page Six has been running stories about how awesome she is. The fact that this photo is out suggests that Ben is backing away from the crazy and she’s amping it up. Does she have compromising photos of him as we’ve heard?
The nanny’s Instagram is private but someone in the press has access to it because she just posted photos of her new car, a convertible Lexus. Entertainment Tonight ran the story and you can see the pic there. She captioned the photo “Keep calm and meet my new drop top Lexi.” Shame. Less. That car retails for around $43,000. She’s going to blow all the money Ben gives her.

I do not feel sorry for her in the least little bit. She’s a greedy opportunist, not some naïve ingénue. Pap walks, new cars, expensive hotels. She is LOVING every minute of this.

I think its one of three options.
1) Full blown sex on tape visible wedding ring and all.
2) If its just pics then something really damaging like kissing, cuddling in the presence of his children.
3) If there are pics or vid of drug stuff then it has to be infront of the kids to be truly damaging. Anything less is easily fixed with a public stint in rehab.

I hadn’t thought of rehab. A trip to rehab is probably in the cards. It will be said that he is in rehab for maintenance issues and to ensure he is in top form for his kids who he loves so much he bangs their nanny.
This is the guy who didn’t want the fact that he had slave owning ancestors exposed to the public. What the nanny has on Affleck could be anything, but he wants to be so in control of his image that anything that he’d want anything that confirms an affair (kissing, sex, or even hugging) or drugs to never come out into the open.
I think the only thing this Ozounian woman has on him is the threat of revealing the affair. If the affair is confirmed, then he is a cheater and a liar. Not only did he lie to Garner, but he made a statement to the press that he never had an affair with his nanny. This will affect his “bottom line.” Women may stop going to see his movies and he could lose out on roles.
Perhaps it was Jennifer Garner who paid off the nanny to be quiet. Maybe she was trying to protect her children from having to live with the fact that their father slept with their nanny and now it is a public story everyone knows.
Maybe he’s genuinely into her. Lots of middle-aged guys get weird obsessions with awful younger women. Or maybe he’s using her to hurt his wife.
I love that he gave interviews about how the whole J.Lo phase was so embarrassing, but now here he is. It’s budget Ouzounian from the block, flaunting her hotel stay and her upper middle class ride.

I think she knows something, something Ben feels (rightly or wrongly) will ruin him, though I’m having a hard time figuring out just what that may be at this point. He’s already a cheating skuzzball, if it’s drugs or something the PR answer is rehab and a couple remorseful interviews. And if it’s that super shady and awful, I’d expect her to “disappear” instead of everything short of waving at the paps from her new car.

Perhaps Ben isn’t lying that he is paying for everything because it’s actually one of the other married men who was at the tournament paying for her things. Perhaps they all had a tryst and there’s photographic or video evidence, and Ben is taking the fall so that his friend doesn’t have to go through a divorce, too.

I am wondering if she is blackmailing him and what it could be for. The more I think about it, the more I keep finding this unlikely. We know he is a cheater. We know he is an addict. Even if she has photos of him doing drugs, so what? He goes to rehab and comes out all clean again, like they all do. Its entirely possible that Ben (subconsciously) likes the idea of playing with fire. Maybe his next mission impossible is to wife an unhinged gold digger. And I dont mean any of this sarcastically. It would explain the cartier bracelet she had on on the private jet. It would explain why she keeps saying they talk everyday and infact have special phones devoted to that. It would explain why a man trying to distance himself would put her up at his favorite hotel (this one has seriously puzzled me for awhile). She could have just leased the Lexus. It’s not entirely cheaper but they run around $400 a month and have like 28/29 month leases.
@Dani I agree she could have leased it. We recently bought a new car is around the same price as that Lexus. My husband has a copy cat friend who ran out to get one once he saw ours, he couldn’t afford it but was able to lease one for less than what our monthly payment is. Dude is broke but keeps spending like he’s not and racking up more debt. When he can’t afford the lease payment anymore he’ll just turn it in and get something else and act like he was over the vehicle and wanted something new.

I didn’t see your post before writing mine but I don’t think Warner Brothers is concerned. I checked out some comic book and fanboy websites (not all obviously) and I say nothing about Ben’s cheating story. The fanboys are super excited because there is more and more promo being leaked by Warner about how much work Ben put in to researching his character and how much he cares about Batman. That’s all the fans care about. He can be a male prostitute and these guys would be like ‘who cares about his private life’. Boyfriends and husbands will still drag their female partners to see Ben’s comic book films or they will go with their buddies. Because their childhood memories are so wrapped up in Batman, Spider-Man, etc.
This story is of interest to us women and his women fans who believed in him. If Ben does a romantic movie which depends on the female audience, it will suffer at the box-office.

There are pictures of her showing up at his house gifting him champagne after the divorce was announced and he looks happy as can be to see her but gives the paps a death stare. I don’t know about that. We are all clicking on the stories like crazy. I think she has played this pretty well. Dragging out her reveals to tantalize. It seems to me like she is making the most of her opportunity. Not that I approve of her, mind you.
Her parents might have told her to leave until the storm blows over. They might not have been thrilled with her pap walks at their private residence.
And what hotel does she choose?
If she really has enough hush money to buy (or lease) herself a Lexus when she has no job right now, then shouldn’t she have moved out of her parents’ house and into her own apartment by now?

Yes, but then what? She can’t keep tabs on him 24/7. He’s a cheater, and they always find a way. If not the nanny, then someone he’s working on a film with, a fan or whatever. Some people simply can’t be trusted.

That being said, As someone who loves celebrity gossip, Former nanny Christine Ouzounian is like a christmas present in July/August. I agree with you to a point. I believe there was other people on the plane more like a party weekend in Vegas with friends and Ben’s side piece and maybe even some of her friends as well.
Aeons ago my girlfriends and I hung out all night with Bono and his friends. Nothing untoward happened at all, just dancing and lots of drinks, but when my friend when to take out her camera (okay I am SO old it was before camera phones were everywhere) Bono shut that thing down in 1 sec by politely saying, “Lets not start that”. Now I am not saying Bono is a saint but he sure as hell is smarter than Ben Affleck. And that was pre-social media saturation we have today.
Also, even if there were 20 other people on the plane that DID put pics of themselves wearing Brady’s rings on their IG accounts— the tabloids wouldn’t be printing them. The press isn’t interested in anybody who was on that plan who isn’t Affleck, the nanny, or Brady, so yeah, it’s entirely possible that other people were on that plane–no photographic evidence necessary.

THIS. My husband spent the weekend with some guy friends and one of them ended up bringing the hostess from the restaurant where they had dinner home for the night. Dude had been married for 20 years, with kids. My husband texted me sort of freaked out but in the end he never talked about it with his friend, they all shrugged it off like it was nothing the next day. I was dying for details and tales of remorse and regret…but my husband came back with nothing, and to my shock was super blasé about it. I, on the other hand, have never looked at the friend the same way again.

Brad Pitt is hated by Jen fans, hasn’t affected his career. Tom Cruise’s wife had to stage a Mission Impossible escape for her and her daughter to leave Tom Cruise. He is tied up with shady/possible modern slavery at Scientilogy HQ yet both women and men will go see his films if the review is good and he smartly doesn’t do any romantic movies.

And no one will care about Ben’s personal life regarding Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, neither the casual fan of Batman or comic geeks. What few will stay away because of his messy personal life would be minimal. Look at the phenomenal success of Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation with Tom Cruise.
So, in my opinion, Batman v. Superman will not be affected in the least by this, and it’s far enough away that it wll be a blip on the screen anyway. It would only be affected if the reviews were horrible, and even then, that didn’t affect the last Superman movie, which got so-so reviews.
If he was putting out a romantic movie or such, it would affect the movie box office.

@Starrywander, someone was all fired up about Man of Steel coming out. It made 668 million dollars. It was the highest grossing Superman film to date. Batman is always a better drawing card with the Bale/Nolan trilogy. Better villains also. I think Batman v. Superman will bring in big numbers using both together.
And the release of Batman V Superman is not for another year. The media cycles through this personal stuff pretty fast. This nanny nonsense will be just another footnote by then.

I don’t believe she has anything big on him, he’s rich enough to send in highly trained people to retrieve any photo evidence she could have without her even noticing. So it isn’t really admitting to anything we don’t already know. Their marriage WAS over at the time. I think it is despicable if he slept with the nanny, and many people agree with me— but had it been with some random side piece that wasn’t around his kids and soon to be ex-wife? Many people would NOT see much of a problem with that .

Ben and the Nanny are both idiots. I have no idea if he is footing the bill for all these purchases. I have doubts about that. I feel like if he was giving her money it would have stopped once she started blabbing to the press. YES! I agree. At this point, it makes no sense for him to be giving her ANY money, because she is blabbing everywhere. The one possibility would be if he gave her a VERY large sum like 250k in the very beginning, hoping she would keep quiet—she took it, is living off it, and is not keeping quiet. If that is the case, she may have nothing much else left on him. The idea that she has a sex tape of them, or info on a drug habit? That only makes sense if he is actively giving her more and more money. He may not be doing that, he may have tried to pay her off already with a big fat check, and she is living off that while he refuses to have anything else to do with her. At this point, if she has photos of them together in bed… who cares? We all assume that they had an affair already, printed proof wouldn’t be all that much more damaging. He keeps denying the affair— but no one believes him—so the pics wouldn’t be as valuable as they would be if we would truly be scandalized by their release. Drug info? Now that would be a scandal. But if she had something on me, I wouldn’t trust the money to keep her quiet because she is clearly NOT trustworthy on any level.
All she has really done is confirm what many suspected of Affleck for years, it was always just a question of who and why none of them had come forward. And the reality is nude pictures or sex tape scandals don’t tend to cause the backlash against men the way they do women. I think if she had anything that big, it would be out there by now. Time will tell, but that the moment I have doubts she has much else to give the tabloids.

Ben was lonely, going through a separation and probably depressed and worried, knowing his image would take a hit, and she was just…there.
Plus they already had an existing relationship-she was in their house, she already knew who he was and understood the family dynamics. Who knows? Maybe he and the nanny even bitched about Jen together. It’s a gross thought but I could see it happening.
What I’m getting at is that they already had a relatively intimate connection as far as professional relationships go. I bet it was just easy for Ben to look to her for comfort or escapism or whatever else drives someone to have an affair.
I agree with you totally. It’s the proximity of her in the house every day and the marriage tanking. When marriages are ending, I’ve said it before, it’s not rosy in the home before it officially happens. There’s a lot of anger and passive-aggressiveness and bitterness and sadness going on, Ben leaving the house at times to stay at the hotel during that year because of the strain between them Rarely is it anyone’s finest moment leading up to it. There was the nanny looking up to him all adoringly, being sympathetic, probably looking forward to seeing her when she came to work as time went on. Jen is off making a movie in Canada a lot of that time, unwittingly giving the space for them to develop that when hanging out with the kids together during the week.
It’s not excusing any of it. It is stating the fact of how it probably developed.
As confusing as this story has been, I do believe he suggested hiring her (NPH connection). I agree that they probably did connect either by secretly partying together and/or griping behind Jen’s back. Maybe more; who knows.

I’m sure there was a lot of talk about Jen making him feel inadequate (we’ve already seen his people put that out there) and with that goes the fluffing of his ego by this person in his house – “oh no! You’re so wonderful, a great father and actor and director. And so fun and a great card player too. Could you teach me?! I can’t believe she can’t see all that and just how sexy you are.” Bam! They’re in bed together and she’s neglecting her nanny duties. She was desperate for his attention and he obliged because that’s what he does.

I’m no easy touch on denials from cheaters, and I do think Ben is a cheater. However, I am really beginning to wonder if, in this case, “the friends, confidante, nothing sexual” is true.
I wonder if the hold, because there must be one, is of a drunken (drugged up?) confessional moment to a ‘confidante’ (one appearing in apparent awe and flirtatious but no deal sealed with sex). Now, because of past reputation, Ben’s denials are implausible. Kind of a twist on crying wolf but he can’t go heavy on her because she knows SOMETHING, rather more potentially damaging than having a quick and convenient bunk-up.
Even her having nude pics/vid would, at this stage, be something Ben would be embarrassed by the release of and have to put his hands up to an affair BUT not a major biggie in irreparable career damage. His marriage is/*was* over anyway. He’s taking a much harder hit as it stands now when admitting an affair would be easier, quicker, done – and she would lose all her media oxygen pdq.
Even the champagne delivery pics did not have the red hot lover body language to be expected. If, at that point pre the story breaking, they had THAT intimacy she could have easily provoked a more physical photo-op. She’d arranged the pap and staged Ben outside his rental. Ben was unaware: 1/ they were being photographed; 2/ that she/the story was about to hit. If, they had any kind of a thing (beyond her role as ‘safe starstruck friend’) she could’ve/would’ve made those stealth pics more undeniably ‘lovers meeting’.
She is too obviously craving fame (money and luxury goods are the incidentals signalling she’s made ‘It’ but NOT the main motivation). If she just wanted financially set-up on the back of an affair then that’s quiet pay-off and NDA territory. She can surely have no expectation Ben can/would want to be with her now, or in the future, for ‘love and life’.
Her being “emotional” in the Bahamas implies all was NOT going her way and her seeming ultra thick skinned unhinged was in the offing. At that point, allowing the ‘ONLY a confidante’ theory, Ben could’ve thought her being an extra pair of hands in Vegas wouldn’t be a problem. They’d definitely shared time (inadvisably) together but I’m not sure the “inappropriate” of that time is of the type it’s natural for everyone to assume.
Also, the whole “she was asked by Jen to the Bahamas because her sister lives there” angle has barely registered beyond passing mention.
This 29yr old woman comes across as extremely immature with huge signs of fantasist & narcissism. She came into the Affleck-Garner household at Perfect Storm time in their marriage. There’s no doubt she thought to exploit that to tempt Ben. I just wonder if she tried to parlay ‘shoulder and ear to cry with’ into more but, atypically, Ben really did just want the willing ear and no more. It’s a very old and increasingly basic scandal story so has diminishing returns on profitability for Nanny (and any financial sponsors). Even pics/vid is pretty low pay-off these days if standard vanilla sex in content.
Ben being a skeez (even with an embarrassing small D for all to see) released across the globe in HD would be a 3 day wonder and, especially because of the freedom of the internet, wouldn’t make much money for her/whoever.

I think that all of this is for show. The girl’s an idiot and probably going into serious debt to try and give people the impression that she actually has any connection with Ben and he is paying for this stuff. I would not be surprised if the magazines paid for her hotel stay in return for those “exclusive” bikini pictures. The amount would match – something to the tune of $10K. The car – I would wager a significant bet that she made a downpayment of $500 to get it and it will disappear in a few days. She is doing all this to try and get interviews with TV and they are not coming because I suspect that this is *one* time that people in the media actually believe Ben, no matter what they print in their magazines.

You know why the they don’t believe him is because nether Ben or Jen are suing her for defamation of character. Which is what you and some others should be asking yourself if her claims are false why is he not suing. A lawsuit should put a end to all this and clear his name, but that’s not happening.

Defamation of character occurs when someone makes a false statement about you that causes you some type of harm. The statement must be published (meaning some third party must have heard it), false, and it must result in harm, usually to the reputation.
If she is lying then the harm it cause is to his brand which is his image and image is everything and to his children. The fact that this “slander” could affect his kids is perfect for a lawsuit.

@Neah23 I know the law on it. However, your theory that their not suing as a qed case proven relies on: 1/ it’s true BUT, far more crucially, 2/ Nanny can prove it and the Afflecks know so.
However, if it is not true (whether other secrets are in the mix or not) they are in a far more invidious position. If they took action as you suggest, the onus is on them to prove she’s lying. The nature of an affair (standard level) is only two bodies are in the room, neither at that point likely to be assuming on having to disprove their body was naked and engaging down the line. “He said (did), she said (did)” is an inbuilt problem on disproving. Cameras etc are only good for proving. An alibi is tough given Nanny-Father at home proximity and opportunity.
Trying to prove a negative is very often a pointless and, potentially damaging in other ways, task. Usually, even if successful, it’s a pyrrhic victory in matters such as this.
So it’s a leapt to accept simply – it must all be true, otherwise they would sue.
Far more likely, if it did, she can prove it, and they know she can, two things typically happen: 1/ she is quietly paid to shush (and legally tied up to remain shushed for a long foreseeable). This would not be done in either an incremental or showy way – certainly not allowing her conspicuous hotel tabs or cars. AND definitely not allowing her to go unchecked with implications (however with deniability as ‘friend sources’ briefing the press) of daily forever otp schoolgirl texting with Ben. So 2/ is, after two weeks being slammed, Ben puts his hands up (he’s already mega bad guy to most anyway), does full-on shame and contrition AND Nanny’s thunder is stolen – an embarrassing beginning to End the sorry tale.
Neither of these things are happening. Nanny is actually escalating daily.
So, why? Now you could argue Ben is awaiting it blowing over to settle in Happy Ever After with Nanny… I don’t think that for a second. So… back to it being preferable to, whilst half-heartedly denying it, have people assume the easy option. An affair. Because, something far more damaging is within Nanny’s power to reveal, perhaps?
Whatever, she is being allowed an odd amount of latitude in this whilst Ben continues to maintain a denial when putting his hands up at this stage would be in his better interests, if true.

Everyday I think this will be the day that Ben shuts the awful story down. Everyday I am wrong. I think it is pretty obvious that Jennifer Garner was reluctant to pull the plug on the marriage. She knew that Ben would crash without her “controlling” him. I can only imagine what she has gone through with him. Also, she has to have a relationship with him for the rest of her life. At least if they stay married she could continue to try and manage him. Personally, I think she is handling this wonderfully. She is out to work, she is taking care of her kids, she is not changing much of anything about how she lives her life. I hope she continues to seek counseling as well as for the children. It was so pathetic how those kids clung to him last week at the mall. I don’t think they have ever had a great deal of continuous time with Ben and they love him. Jennifer knows this. I don’t think so. The more I think about it, the more I honestly cannot believe any of this is about an affair with a civilian or an actress. It just keeps nagging at me to try to understand why he would be paying this woman money. She is not keeping silent. More importantly, she seems to be implicating others at this point as well. He may have slept with her, but I don’t think he is banking her. I think what she has is some cleverly posed photos that she has provided. I think the next leaks will be of her naked and an exclusive about him as a lover. Mark my words, the real scandal here might be that the media is paying her to set him up – as much of a douche as he is – that is the only thing I can think of. I would not be surprised if she is a call girl placed in that family to trap him by these tabloids. Just look what the tabloids did in the phone hacking scandal in England, the bribing of cops, etc. This was a serious operation. And clearly someone really wants him done with.
I was a nanny for about a year my first year in college, I stayed during the weekends so the parents could fly out and work. And can I just say, girls like this make us all look bad. My last week there the “man of the house.” Asked me if I wanted to have sex with him and he saw me making eyes at him. NEVER. IN. MY. LIFE. I walked away from that job sad for the kids because I knew it wasn’t new. Same way I feel for their kids. There are so many possibilities. Postulating is interesting. Reality is that these are real people and there are 3 adorable kids….
I was struck in looking at the photos of the kids with Ben from the weekend. I noticed that the kids were clinging to Ben. In particular, the photo zooming in on Ben holding Samuel’s hand and Samuel kissing Ben’s hand. Also, where Samuel is sitting on Ben’s shoulders and gripping Ben’s head. That speaks to me of kids who miss having their Dad around much and who long for more of him. When they are around him, they want to cling to him. That’s a reality check for me to this whole mess.
This man is an addict and I think his behavior is in great part driven from a messed-up thinking process. From gossip sites, including blind, his behavior has been in a steady spiral in particular for the past year or more specifically. His image is being ripped (his behavior is totally responsible), but I fear that the underlying cause of the behavior is very serious and probably life threatening.
I do think he attached to the Nanny because of where his head is/was at the time. An addict feeds those needs. Also, I found living with one that for an addict to actually live with themselves (guilt and some level of conscience is somewhat inherent), their brains can actually twist the facts to make their behavior acceptable by blaming others for their behavior so that they can continue in the addition without? guilt. That kinda becomes a disassociation with loved ones because it is completely self serving.
I don’t think he can think clearly right now. I think he may have done drugs in front of/with the nanny because he did trust her at some level during that time. He has surrounded himself for YEARS with people who never tell on him and he continued his behavior with her because I think in his mind she became part of that club.
She planned from a long time ago what she wanted from this. She knew to get the pictures of them together, of the rings, the hotel sightings. She showed savvy in the planning and I think she is still working on her plan.
I think she does have pictures of stuff, and knowledge of what he did in front of her. I think she is thinking she can continue to manipulate Ben to get whatever her ultimate goal is – now that’s the big ???. I think one of the comments in an article cited to a friend indicated she had the pictures made of them together because she wanted the world to know they were together. I think that’s a clue…could some part of her actually believe she can get that?
I do believe he is still talking to her, because he’s a mess and isn’t thinking clearly. If he were not talking to her, I think she would already have blown this thing wide open.
Ultimately, he’s an addict who is not making fully rational decisions, I think.
ALSO, back to my pattern remarks previously. This is part of his pattern. He messes up, someone fixes it. He’s still in the pattern. Jen’s out and I think he is struggling with that change in the way things have always been.
I could be completely wrong, but I don’t think he’s stupid. I also do not give this as an excuse for behavior such as he has committed because innocents are getting hurt badly. But, if you’ve ever been around an addict, they are just not capable of making good choices in that place.
I don’t think Jen has anything to do with this. She would, IMO, never put her kids in this position just to hurt Ben. He wanted out and acted out. She’s been covering for years. She’s had to step back now because he forced her and she’s going to do whatever she can to protect her kids and her own reputation because she has to go on well for them.

Laura, my state doesn’t require a permanent front license plate. So yeah, some drive around with various front tags (usually a sports team – we’re in Southeast big college rivalry areas). However, I thought nanny would have pulled the front tag, as it’s a dealer advertisement.
I compared pricing on what I think this car is, and it looks like $30K retail is the going price both in my area and in LA zip code.

I think the money is severance pay (could have been three months’ pay to give her time to get another job). Could be why no party seems willing to address it first-hand, because employment termination details aired publicly could get sticky.

Ok ladies and gents. While commenting on this thread, I have in short order actually developed a theory that makes sense to me and answers all of my nagging questions about this strange situation. It is really strange, right? It is just an affair, so what? Even with drugs, right? If she was paid off, then why is she still leaking photos and talking? If she is blackmailing Ben, the he can get the authorities involved and have her arrested. None of this makes any sense. It is like there is an elaborate campaign to make it appear as though this woman is of value and has information. All we have gotten thus far is an out of context photo with her on a plane… she is alone in the photo. The only other “proof” we have gotten is a stage pap where she is delivering wine. How this adds up to her having anything on him is beyond me, but what is clear is that she was already setting him up before the affair began and before the divorce was even decided upon.
Think about this: she was already staging pap shots of herself (out of context) with Ben while she was working with that family and doing it all very fast (did she start in April?).
People on here have mentioned that maybe Garner set him up by hiring the nanny. I don’t think for a moment this woman would destroy her kids and their relationship with their father. She is no Tori Spelling, willing to air all. She seems like a dignified woman and a good mother to me.
But what no one else seems to have asked is this: could someone else have set him up? Remember all the blackmailing PIs and phone hackings that took down a bunch of tabloids in the U.K.?
Could it be the tabloids? It could be. In fact, how could the tabloids get the amount of information about the billing and her charges at a hotel from a source working for a hotel KNOWN for their discretion? What celebrities would stay at a hotel leaking billing information?
I am guessing that the people getting the bills are the same “sources” citing the spending habits of the nanny.
Ben is a douche and easily led astray by a pretty face. But this is so nuclear and all out war like, that I cannot for the life of me understand why the tabs would be so willing to put up with a source who has offered them nothing of real value thus far?
I say that whomever is paying for her hotel (and I am betting it is not Ben) is likely also responsible for placing this call girl (pretend nanny) in this position. For a nanny on only her second job, she strikes me as extremely crafty. Like call girl crafty!
ITAW several of your points.. She is more like a Con Artist.. she set Ben up.. and played him and Jennifer. She could be working with someone else.. not hard to imagine. And yes it does look like she had a plan from the jump and DUMMY BEN feel for it.. I think she is an opportunist.. she saw that the marriage was ending and jumped in and worked on Ben’s ego. Stroking his ego; listening to his talk of distress; giving him emotional support. And he feel for it.
I don’t know how far it went; but this chick is not pregnant; the Con doesn’t work that way. Just so unreal. I thought it was reported that she worked for Neil Patrick Harris.. why did that association end.. It would be interesting to know why
I think she is an opportunist and con-artist also. I even think she threw some emotional breakdown so Jen would send her back home from the Bahamas and did it it just so happened the night before or day Ben was leaving. I don’t believe Ben set that up, because she would have spilled that info. She has leaked in her stories to the press that she was very upset crying over an ex-fiance and Jen told her it wasn’t good for the kids and to go home. Ben was leaving for his charity event and offered her a ride. I believe the opportunist set that scenario up right at that time, saying she was too emotional to work, blah, blah, so she could go home and it would be right when Ben was leaving so she could be with him on that trip. Ben jumped on it being the horndog he is and offered her a ride as he was leaving.

But I think she is a little conniving fame-ho who did see an opportunity early on with the dynamics of the family the way they were, the marriage falling apart. And I do believe once he knew she was selling stories about him he cut off all contact with her. He’s not that stupid. He knows any messages, e-mails, and/or texts she would use. Putting out there they are in constant contact is really bizarre and is what gives her the bunny boiler title.

Not to put the blame on Jennifer…but why would you allow a younger, attractive woman into your home to care for your family and kids. Sadly, more often than not, it doesn’t end well. Also, why would you allow your husband/mate/whatever to have an attractive secretary. The statistics are not on your side!
In this instance, especially, a marriage in trouble and on its last legs when the nanny was hired. No, I wouldn’t if I was going to be gone a lot for a few months on location and if my marriage was on the rocks and my husband, who is known to have a wandering eye, had cheated before, was going to be there with the nanny alone. What could go wrong? LOL
My sister keeps saying, “What was she thinking, strained relationship on the brink of ending, probably bickering between them even long distance, and leaving Ben, of all people, home with a cute, young nanny?”
Do you think Letterman could go to authorities about extortion because no drugs were involved in his situation?
Most blackmail/extortion involves criminal behavior of some sort, which is why it is treated as a crime in itself. Partly, because someone is aware of criminal activity and rather than reporting it to the authorities, is profiting from it. Partly, because in some cases, the behavior involved is not criminal per se, but incredibly inappropriate. In any case, Ben was NOT selling drugs, which is a serious crime. Assuming there is a drug angle, at all, he was would be using drugs. So he still could go to the authorities. And even if the drug thing is true, who the hell cares? This is Hollywood after all. A stint in rehab and all is well again.
