Kristen Stewart in Chanel at the TIFF ‘Equals’ premiere: pretty or awkward?

wenn22872124

Here are some photos of Kristen Stewart at last night’s TIFF premiere of Equals, the futuristic film which costars Nicholas Hoult. Kristen gamely posed for photos and managed to avoid many of her red carpet traps, like bad posture, lip-biting and general awkwardness (although she did play with her greasy-looking hair too much). Kristen’s premiere gown was Chanel, of course. In some photos, it reads as black but I’m pretty sure it’s just straight up navy. I imagine it would look ethereal on a model, but on Kristen… I’m not sure it works. Like, she doesn’t look completely stupid, so it works on some level. But Kristen is always better in cocktail dresses, I think.

The last time I wrote about this film, some anti-K-Stew person yelled at me on Twitter and told me to stop kissing her ass, which is weird, right? Kristen has never been one of my favorite celebrities, but I try to be fair to her and her quirks. So, I won’t say anything about how the film was received, I’ll just concentrate on some of the press Kristen did. She gave an exclusive to People Mag, which you can read here (it’s boring, she’s just saying words). She told Variety that “At this stage of my life where I’m close to these awakening periods, and it’s a big deal for me, and to represent them so basically and so hard was intimidating as hell.” She also said actors “love nothing more than to be over-indulgent and think about things too much.” That’s very true. And here are some assorted quotes from her Daily Beast interview:

On overmedicating, the reliance on pills: ““Oh, do you feel something? We can help you with that.” Self-exploration goes out the door with medication. You go, “Oh god, I have a little stomachache,” and they say, “Here, we can help you with that.” Well, why do you have that stomachache? Maybe it’s because your head’s in your stomach, so maybe there’s something you’re ignoring that you can work out… It is crazy. It’s weird because if you’re overtly emotional about anything, people discredit what thought you might be contributing, because anything overtly emotional can be viewed as a weakness. It’s interesting what you’re saying about how now we’re trying to suppress emotions or irregularities with drugs and deem people controllable by meds, because I think we’re more in tune and more honest with our emotions now than we have ever been. You think about your grandparents or their grandparents, and you think about the patriarch of the family never showing emotion—with women, too. As we’ve gotten past that, the meds have upped. It’s bizarre. The two things don’t really go together.

On Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk: “Oh my god. Did you see her come out of jail? Honestly, it makes me so deeply uncomfortable. I feel really bad for her. Anyone who’s so closed off to things that are so apparent? Imagine what else she’s missing out on in life. I’m not making any grand statements about her personally, but if something so glaringly obvious, such as this subject…That’s why I feel bad for her. It’s like, “Oh, buddy, that must suck.” That fear of the unknown cripples people, breeds hate, and it’s just very sad.

[From The Daily Beast]

She says a lot more about the overreliance on meds and how just because someone is emotional, doesn’t mean they’re mentally ill. She makes some interesting points and I know exactly where she’s coming from and I don’t even completely disagree with her. I even like her compassion for Kim Davis – like, she thinks it must suck for a person to be filled with so much hate/confusion about LGBT rights and love.

  1. Shambles says:

The hair looks mullet-y from some angles, but she’s growing out a really short cut so I can’t fault her for that. The dress itself isn’t doing it for me. It’s just… Weird. But again, that’s not her fault. Overall, not feeling this look, but none of that is on KStew.

    • Elisa the I. says:

I actually like her hair and make-up. The dress is meh. Her tattoo is mega-fugly, however.

    • Bridget says:

I kind of really like her hair.

      • Shambles says:

From certain angles it looks awesome. I love the slicked-back look on her. And her makeup is superb. It’s just that in the first photo–from that angle– it looks a little awkward. That was more me sympathizing with her, though, because I still have baby hairs growing out at the nape of my neck from the days of The Angled Bob. *dun dun dun*

      • qwerty says:

I like the hair too. It doesn’t look greasy at all, which is nice for a change. The eyeliner colour is perfect for the dress. But she always looks tired and unhealthy even in full make up to me. Should probably eat better and smoke less…

      • GoSsip says:

Does anyone else think the hair may have some short extensions in it? In pictures from a few days before it looked much shorter and maybe shaved in the back.

      • Bridget says:

Though I actually think that what would take it over the top would be if the sides were actually shaved.

I’m not normally a fan of ‘wet look’ hair, but it actually looks minimally greasy from what I see. And I like her and Chanel paired together. It hasn’t been perfect but I think they give her interesting clothing and she seems to really like it and looks far more comfortable than when she was with Balenciaga.

  2. kay says:

She said this about anti-depressants and it’s so ignorant and stupid.

“Yeah. As far as we know, you have one shot at this and it can be so fucking beautiful, so why lessen the feeling of anything? Why numb yourself? I’m not on antidepressants. I think it’s bizarre.”

    • Luca76 says:

She’s not a very sensitive or intelligent person now is she?

    • ctgirl says:

She’s not very self aware since she obviously thinks that her cigs, weed and cocktails don’t influence her mood or impact her emotions. What a special little snowflake.

    • Loulou says:

Is it possible she’s not talking about people are mentally ill but just the general drug/pill scene in LA? I remember being shocked at how much people self medicated out there or would take anti-depressants that weren’t prescribed to them.

      • Nola says:

        @loulou
That’s the impression I got from reading the interview. Hollywood seems filled with people who over medicate. Not all those people are mentally ill. Too many abuse drugs for a fix.

I just started listening to the You Must Remember This… Podcast and the stories about all the pills that the Stars popped back in the day was ridiculous.

      • Mac says:

Thanks, it seems obvious she is not talking about those clinically depressed. And I agree with her. To much self medication.

      • ctgirl says:

She’s self medicating with nicotine, weed and alcohol. How is she any different from a pill popper except for her drugs not being in pill form? And her weed is illegal without a, wait for it . . . A prescription. She is judgemental and a hypocrite on this issue.

    • JENNA says:

That’s so offensive. Is she a scientologist? Tom Cruise is looking for a girlfriend.

    • qwerty says:

She might be talking about the pointlessness of taking them in HER case, who knows, maybe she talked about being down at times or something. I really don’t think she’d tell someone who’s in deep depression to just suck it up without medical help. But in the environment she’s in, people take meds for everything just cause it’s easier and quicker. And I’m not even gonna start about kids & ADHD meds in the US…

      • Holmes says:

What on earth does the US or kids with ADHD have to do with any of this? Any excuse to bash Americans and speak about us in sweeping generalizations, though, right?

      • qwerty says:

It’s not a generalisation that Americans are terribly over-medicated.

    • JenniferJustice says:

She shouldn’t speak in generalizations. Perhaps she intended to say not all emotional people should be medicated, but there are levels, hello. If some is diagnosed as emotionally unstable, manic, depressed, or bi-polar, they probably do medication, but she’s not at that level. She comes off as yet another young celebrity who thinks they’re smarter than everybody else. Get over it. Chances are she’s not very educated, but they’re the ones who think they’ve got the answers. Must be either an insecurity thing or just something ignorant people do.

    • Cleo says:

      @luca76

I know right? Thank you Dr Stewart. Ugh. She’s so effing stupid. Hey idiot there’s a real thing called depression and bipolar disorder, and people that have been diagnosed are who those meds are for to improve quality of life and in many cases prevent homelessness, joblessness and tragedies such as suicides…those meds are not for your dumb azz and your “stomach ache.”

Oh and if she meant her overindulged Hollywood kid peers stealing meds from their rich parents or if she meant American society in general (ala tom cruise and his rant several years ago which included slamming a post partum depressed Brooke shields and her prescribed course of medical treatment to get through it – then she should have said so!)

  3. Nic919 says:

I am not a Kristen Stewart fan but I saw this yesterday and it was a pretty good sci if movie. the concept is decent – in the future no one is allowed to have emotions or form relationships- and the production values were good too.
They started the showing 30 minutes late keeping the crowd waiting in the rain so I was predisposed to be cranky and there were definite fan girls in the crowd, in some cases literally girls who got tickets even though at TIFF you are supposed to be 18 since none of the movies are rated and some can be very raunchy, and these girls freaked a bit much when she was on stage, but the movie itself is pretty good. Nicholas about is actually the bigger focus of the film and he is really good in this.

    • TorontoE says:

I thought Nicholas H was much more interesting in it than she was and as a side note he seemed to spend much more time shaking hands, posing for photos. She just came in late, posed for about a minute and went in. But maybe she was just being method and not showing emotions. I was predisposed to be cranky too…it was freezing int that theatre!!

      • Nic919 says:

What she the reason there was a 30 minute “technical glitch” that delayed them from letting us in the building? At first volunteers were saying we couldn’t be let in because of security reasons (which is code for some celebrities have demanding bodyguards and don’t want the plebs to enter the building at the same time as them) and then it became a technical glitch. Anyway it was obviously a bs reason because a technical issue would not affect letting people who paid for a ticket to be let in from the rain and find our seats.

      • TorontoE says:

I was in the general line…let everyone in front of me in, stopped at me and my friend and the proceeded to let in all the premium seats (who hadn’t already been let in) and newcomer VIPs. But that was about 20 mins before Kristen and Nicholas showed up. I think they may have been trying so save good seats for the VIPs? I dunno. It wasn’t the greatest experience unfortunately.

  4. Starbuck says:

I find it completely ironic that someone who is a well-known pothead in Hollywood would have this kind of opinion and judgement of others on self-medicating. Her comments are hypocritical and ignorant and not to mention arrogant. No matter what the drug, isn’t it all a form of self-medicating? I’m not against pot by any means, but I just find this baffling. For someone that claims to be genuine and true to herself, she is just a complete fake. I almost feel sorry for her. Almost.

    • Kitten says:

I don’t know…I smoke pot but I still agree with her that American society has a bizarre relationship with pharmaceuticals. It seems like prescription meds are either overprescribed or abused as street drugs. I do think that we’re often dispensing too much of it for problems that could be dealt with in an alternative manner, particularly with children.

That being said I would NEVER judge someone for getting help in the form of medicine if they truly need it. I believe that anti-depressants in certain circumstances can save people’s lives.
I think you can believe that as a society we’re overmedicated and also believe that proper medication is necessary for some people and smoke pot at the same time 😉

      • Nina says:

Not if you think that anti-depressants are bad because they dull emotions, which is what she’s saying. The gall of that stoner bitch to judge other people.

      • Shambles says:

“I think you can believe that as a society we’re overmedicated and also believe that proper medication is necessary for some people and smoke pot at the same time ;)”

Well said, KitTron. I totes agree.

And I don’t think “that stoner bitch” is a helpful turn of phrase in any situation.

      • Nina says:

Except that’s what she is. She is a stoner, and everything she has done (you know, cheating with a married man, constantly being stupid, having no concern for anyone) proves she’s a bitch.

      • stacey says:

I dunno… anti depressants are really something you shouldnt judge as “over prescribed” unless you’ve taken them.

As far as i know, nobody takes Zoloft or Lexapro for recreational use as a “street drug.”

if she knew anything about depression and anixiety she would know that in contrast to her opinion that people are afraid to feel this “beautiful life”, that people with these issues often are extremely emotional and FEEL things much deeper than “a normal person.” They arent just sad, they can be PROFOUNDLY sad if they are depressed. They dont turn to serious meds so they can just “not feel” cuz feelings are annoying nuisance. They turn to these meds to survive suicidal thoughts, to function normally again. My friends who are depressed or have suffered from anixiety are some of the most deeply empathic emotional people i know – it can be cripling – these meds help them function day to day, not erase their emotions.

        this chick says stupid stuff.

      • Lulu says:

And remember that she says all this in the context of the movie she is promoting which takes place in a dystopia where no emotions are allowed. If not for this context I’d say her comments were really stupid, but not so much in the context of the movie

  5. bettyrose says:

She could be such a cool, Parker Posey type indie queen with her look, if only she were interesting like Parker Posey.

    • Josephine says:

or good? sorry, but I love Parker Posey and I don’t see Kristin as having the same skill level. I do think she looks good here though!

      • bettyrose says:

Oh yeah sorry, that’s what I meant by interesting. PP is fun to watch. I want to like KStew but I feel like she was catapulted to uber stardom with no effort, while acting like she’s some hip cult film art-ist.

      • Kitten says:

K Stew doesn’t bug me as much as she bugs others but Posey has so much more charisma and more natural acting ability IMO.

    • bns says:

We have Evan Rachel Wood and Ellen Page for that. We don’t need Kristen.

  6. Ware says:

The top part of the dress looks like that of my 4 year old’s.

  7. Margareth says:

It’s a mystery to me why this girl has such a big career in cinema. IMO, she seems average and unremarkable in everything – talent, looks, speech, presence, maybe except her weirdness. You almost can take randomly any actress her age and she would do better. Maybe it’s a case of nepotism? The right connections? The casting couch?

    • vauvert says:

Amen. Every time I read about her I end up shaking my head and wondering why she is a star. I can’t even say I hate her, she is just so bland and unremarkable in every way, she acts poorly, dresses terribly, does not come across as bright, articulate or original…

I understand that she somehow got cast in that Twilights series (which I have never read or watched nor do I intend to – maybe she was good in that??) but I will actually skip a movie if she is in it – her carting is so contrived she actually pulls you out of a movie with her “I am the special KStew snowflake” act.

      • suziekew says:

@Vauvert – I completely agree, Kristen’s acting does pull you out of a movie. She’s just so there and it’s all you can see. Her acting abilities are so weak that she can’t be anything but her “weird” self. In other words, she doesn’t lose herself in the character, she becomes a “KStew” character. Not sure I’m explaining this correctly but all I know is she is a terrible actress! How the PTB do not see this is an eternal mystery to many.

    • Amide says:

      Its not just you.
Her films rarely make bank (yes even the indies don’t turn profit) which is someone who appears to have such a strong following.
After the poor performance of American Ultra, Deadline has pretty much said she only has internet Twihard stans that don’t actually translate to real life, and lacks wider appeal. Equals is looking like another flop.

      • suziekew says:

Yes, I’ve read some bad reviews for Equals. I was totally surprised at the poor showing of American Ultra, if you listen to the people who are on the Kristen bandwagon, you would have expected it to make $100 million on opening week-end not the less than $5 million it actually made. She isn’t a well liked actress to the general population.

  8. JENNA says:

Wow I didn’t know that Kstew was qualified to talk about mental health and meds! What an idiot.

    • Bluebell says:

Yeah I was never a big fan of her to begin with but this has really put me off her.

I hate people who judge others for using anti-depressants, I get enough of that judgement in real life without coming onto a website that I visit for fun and getting it on here too.

      Ugh. Epic fail, Kirsten.

    • Lou says:

Well i mean, are any of us ‘qualified’ to speak on any number of topics? I’m not an ‘expert’ in psychology or social behavior but it doesn’t stop me discussing how people behave and why they do it. Same goes for everybody on here – you all act like experts on the daily!

Lets not be hypocritical. She was speaking in relation to her movie which is about emotions being eradicated. But here goes the outrage culture ….

      • Anname says:

But Lou, Kristen does this A LOT. Her interviews always seem to require some sort of clarification from her fans. She puts her foot in her mouth so often, you have to acknowledge this is more than the “outrage culture”. People aren’t out to get Kristen just for kicks. She brings much of her own problems on herself, with the f-off attitude she wore for years, her scandal in 2012 (it’s still the only thing many remember about her), and her arrogant or weird comments in interviews. She is still battling an image problem, and badly stated things like this don’t help her.

That quote sounds very much like what Cruise said on The Today Show years ago, even if that wasn’t what she meant. Of course people are going to take offense, and not stop to seek out her fans’ interpretation of it.

      • Tiny Martian says:

I get what you are saying, Lou. But there is a big difference between making an anonymous comment on a public gossip board and putting something out there for the world to see in an interview with your name and face attached. If I were ever in that position, you can be sure that I would bite my tongue, or at least think very carefully before I opened my mouth.

Luckily, I’ll never have to worry about it!

  9. Jayna says:

Anti-depressants are way overprescribed, true But what does this girl know about anything to make such a blanket statement. BECAUSE there are many people who need and have found great relief by being on an anti-depressant whether it be situational during a period of depression which could be for a multitude of reasons or because of their life-long battle with depression. It helped me during a dark time and the effect was miraculous. It helped my father during horrible grief, as it did a woman who worked for me who lost her husband. After a year of grieving and still no better, her doctor insisted on putting her on something, and she told me it was the first time she didn’t wake up crying in the morning.

  10. kay says:

    Has she joined Scientology?

  11. Isa says:

Her make up looks awful. It makes her look like she’s warped her face with one of those apps. Big eyes- tiny nose and mouth.

  12. aussie says:

there a MAJOR difference between being emotional and having a mental illness. Is it really her job to speak on this, has she said in the past about mental health issues??

PS I hate the “hate” mental health meds get, would you argue on medication needed for diabetes?

    • Tiny Martian says:

Hm. Kristen’s never demonstrated much in the way social awareness. Which makes me wonder: did someone prescribe meds for her and she refused? Because for her to speak at such length about it makes it sound like she has a chip on her shoulder. Just a thought.

  13. Emma says:

FYI her best friends are Scientologists and hang out with the Cruises, Mastersons, Elfmans and co.

    • qwerty says:

      Who do you mean exactly?

    • Lou says:

She doesn’t hang out with any of them LOL. A couple of her friends are scientologists which is not surprising considering she went to school in the same neighbourhood as the Scientology center. But no, she isn’t a scientologist. That’s laughable.

      • qwerty says:

From what I watched on scientology they don’t send their kids to school so I’m not sure that would explain things.

  14. Deb says:

She needs to wash her hair & shut her stupid mouth

  15. Tig says:

The dress would be cuter w/o the sheer overlay. The color is nice.

Either it’s early or something, but fully expected to see the War and Peace length explanations of what she REALLY meant re her criticisms of anti-depressants here. What a clueless thing to say.

  16. Insomniac says:

Yeesh. Another week, another eye-bleedingly ugly gown from Chanel.

  17. grabbyhands says:

Dear Kristen- until you actually understand why people need anti-depressants or God forbid, you need them yourself, do everyone a favor a shut your gob about stuff you know nothing about. I’m sure when you’re high all the time you know, like, feeling stuff seems super important. However, some people have actual problems.

Did you and Chrissie Hynde decide to have a contest to see who could come off as the biggest insensitive asshat?

  18. HK9 says:

These dress is beautifully made but doesn’t do a damn thing for her.

  19. Nina says:

“I don’t even completely disagree with her”

You’re exactly why so many people don’t get help, because they mistakenly believe there’s something wrong with them and they can deal with it themselves. Please don’t talk about things you have no knowledge one. It’s as bad as kristen running her mouth.

    • Bluebell says:

Yeah, Kirsten could just have said that she believes anti-depressants are too readily prescribed with not enough emphasis on other coping mechanisms like counselling and talking therapies, diet, excercise, mindfulness, meditation etc. That I could just about cope with. What she actually said, was pure ignorance.

Here’s an idea Kirsten: if you haven’t got a clue about somethng then just shut your mouth. Unless you actually enjoy coming across as ignorant.

      • Lou says:

She talked about over-reliance. Obviously she isn’t talking about people who genuinely need help.

      • Bluebell says:

Lou, that’s still judgemental though as who is to say who is over reliant on them and who genuinely needs them then? Who is she to be the judge of that? She should keep her opinions to herself.

I’ve had this a lot – people think people on medication for depression are just drama queens, crybabies or just too dependent on popping pills for every little thing that goes wrong. No!

At the end of the day she isn’t a doctor or a trained medical professional so she has no right to say who genuinely needs the medicine or who doesn’t. She may think that someone looks like they don’t really need it and is just being overemotional, but who the hell is she to judge? How would she know? She should walk a mile in their shoes.

How can you be ‘over reliant’ on them anyway? Either you need medication (as prescribed by a doctor), or you don’t.

  20. Esteph says:

If I get hate for this, well oh well, I get hate…I dislike her tattoo. I understand it’s an expression of herself, but where it is positioned and the fact that it’s bold and dark…idk

  21. mädchen says:

    She looks gorgeous.
Overmedication is a big problem. I agree completely. But mental health stigma is a problem as well. So I get why some might get upset. Even though it’s not what she is taking about.

  22. Mabel says:

I brace myself every time this girl expresses an opinion when answering a question posed to her during interviews or red carpets events. I don’t think she’s insensitive or ignorant. I’d call it being extremely inarticulate. I honestly think she overthinks every answer she gives and ends up going off on tangents with the end result sounding very confusing and odd.

With that said, I do like the dress, hair and makeup. It works for her body type and no fuss attitude towards dressing up. She does have a pretty face and complexion to die for. And she does appear to be standing up straighter in these photos than her usual slouching.

    • mädchen says:

I think her posture is better because of sandals. Not as high and uncomfortable as her pumps, more stable too. I understand why she chooses pumps, way easier to kick them off. But they always looks so uncomfortable, no idea how she even can stand in them.

    • mia girl says:

“Extremely inarticulate” is a good way to put it. She tends to pepper in “big” words that may give the impression she is articulate , but uses the wrong tense or word so it never sounds quite right.

In fact, the quote to Variety that Kaiser posted in italics could have easily come out of the Sarah Palin school of how to make a word salad.

I don’t think she’s dumb, she just tries so hard to sound smart that she ultimately fails.

  23. Micki says:

I like her styling and the dress too, just not on her.
But her look is a huge improvement in comparison with Twihard times.

  24. boredblond says:

She looks like this is the first time she’s ever put on a dress.

  25. Alexa says:

    I WANT THAT DRESS!

  26. meow says:

Someone cleaned her up. She looks nice. I even saw a pic somewhere of her smiling.

  27. Mac says:

She looks flawless! And with only 6 or 7 reviews, no one knows how the movie will be received. One of my favorite young actresses. Unique, totally different from all the actresses out now.

  28. Cindy says:

I’m not sure she was talking about people with intractable depression, maybe more the tendency to prescribe antidepressants for normal blues/sadness?

I want to like Kristen, but she really cannot act. The fact that she keeps getting roles is just bizarre to me. What are critics and directors seeing that I’m not?

    • Lou says:

She can act. She was marvelous in Sils Maria and she made me cry in Still Alice

      • Anname says:

Yeah, I don’t think it took much skill to make someone cry in Still Alice. The whole movie is one giant tear jerker, by design.

I think Kristen has something powerful onscreen, but she is always Kristen. I always see Kristen pretending to be someone else, and never just buy into the character. It was especially notable in Snow White, I couldn’t buy her in that time period at all.

  29. Corrie says:

Oh Kristen… I think this looks ok in theory as well Kaiser, but the dress bust is not flattering and it gives her no definition. But its not awful but not great. Again, Chanel is mismatched for Kristen. As for her words, Kristen could learn to speak for herself and not for the masses. Because every time she makes her profound statements about herself she adds in a criticism to the masses. Because she thinks people are overmedicated and is against anti-depressants is great for HER. Not for the masses. She gave a similar unfortunate statement re Ageing that was wrong and bad. Also, recently on plastic surgery… yes Kristen doesn’t like it… doesn’t mean you make a judgement on society. Because each time she comes off as moronic, unintelligent and out of line. Good luck on Equals.

    • Lou says:

But she’s right – there is an over-reliance on medication. I am speaking as a daughter of somebody who suffers from severe depression for the past 20 years. They would not still be alive without meds and ECT, so i am ALLLLL for meds when it is appropriate, but i have also seen a lot of people take them as a crutch, when there other issues not being dealt with. So I am in total agreement.

  30. Corrie says:

PS i really like her hair.

  31. Lou says:

    ‘she’s just saying words’

    ?? Don’t they all?

I love this look on her. Much better than Venice which is far too fussy for Kristen to feel comfortable. i think simplicity is key for her. Nothing too costume-like. I LOVE her hair and the make up is perfect.

She’s a better person than me to feel sorry for Kim Davis. Ugh

I think it’s generally accepted that there is an over-reliance on anti-depressants. Get this – my cousin went to her doctor (who runs a practice with her now ex-husband #awks) and was feeling low after a break-up. The was put on anti-depressants. A few weeks later she had to go back for another matter and went to the husband – he was horrified to see that she was put on anti-d’s and said there was no need for such a young person to be put on them unless absolutely necessary – when other avenues had been explored. He took her off and she got past her rough period and didn’t need the help of meds. SMH!

I think she looked great, that dress is beautiful!

I find her success perplexing. I don’t see any area where she really stands out. Yet she’s one of the most in demand young actresses out there for some reason. She’s not the worst actress but she’s not that great either. (I saw her in Clouds of Sils Maria because I love Juliette Binoche. Kristen was really GOOD! But not as great as some people make her out to be.) She’s not unattractive but she’s far from beautiful. She doesn’t have the worst persona but I would never describe her as charming. She’s not completely asexual but she isn’t sexy. You can usually explain a young actresses success as a byproduct of at least one of those attributes. Kristen doesn’t stand out on any dimension.
It’s just..weird to me. Good for her I guess?

On the plus side: I like what she said about how people’s opinions are often automatically discredited when they speak with emotion. I think that holds more for women then men though. When men do it it’s sometimes perceived as passion or conviction. When a woman does it, she’s irrational. Emotion = woman = weakness to alot people.

    I like her!

  35. Jenny says:

Kristen Stewart can look really fresh and beautiful on the red carpet sometimes but here she looks like her awkward fourteen year old self and the dress is awful, like a really bad prom dress or something. The hair is meh and she looks tired and rough. Not one of her better red carpet moments.

Also, she should just stop giving interviews period. Most everything that comes out of her mouth sounds uneducated or really dumb. Although she seems to think differently, a bright intellect is not one of her gifts or is it all the pot-smoking that has killed off her brain cells and left only the blatant hypocrisy?

  36. Carmen says:

That dress is ugly and her hair looks like someone trimmed it with a machete. She makes up well, though.

  37. Kat Matz says:

She has good legs for a skinny girl (no muscle tone). She should wear short dresses, shorts, Etc. Her make up is amazing, though she always looks a bit oily……..
