It’s been a bad week for Tom Brady as far as pop culture goes. South Park lampooned him and Donald Trump came out and said that Brady “endorsed” him (which is sort of true, but still). Meanwhile, there’s still a lot of gossip about Tom and Gisele’s marriage and whether they’re really weathering the storm. They’ve been stepping out for coupled-up photo-ops here and there in Boston, and “sources” insist that they’re fine, despite some stumbles. E! News had a lengthy analysis of the situation several days ago – their sources say that the whole reason Gisele jetted off to Paris to get some plastic surgery was so Brady could have some space. Sources also say Gisele was super-pissed about the Christine Ouzounian photo and:
“Gisele became jealous and enraged. She had a very serious conversation with Tom and, honestly, I didn’t know if things were going to work out between them. She went to Brazil for a week and that scared Tom a little bit. She also missed his birthday and the first few preseason games for the Patriots. She was definitely sending him a message that things had to change.”
But the insider claims everything is fine now that Deflategate is over (is it though?) and Tom is back to making Gisele a priority. Which brings me to this amazing Star Magazine story:
In a last-ditch effort to save their marriage, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady started attending couples therapy.
“Things got so bad after Deflategate that they could barely speak to each other. Tom got irritable under the stress and she started blaming him for all their unhappiness, much of which was there before the scandal. Counseling was her ultimatum.”
Though Tom was reportedly reluctant to seek professional help, the therapist has reportedly been siding with Brady on many of the pair’s problems.
“He’s been getting some much-needed vindication during this process,” continues the insider. “The truth is, his career was on the line, and his wife was sneaking around Paris in a burqa getting plastic surgery. The therapist noted that both of them tend to put Gisele’s needs over his.”
One example: Gisele insisting that the family move away from Tom’s native California to Massachusetts, after spending $31 million on a massive LA dream home.

I love that the biggest problem in their marriage was that they both put Gisele first. I LOVE THAT. Bless this couple. I hope they never break up.

well, I read it in the Guardian with the headline “Brady endorses Trump for president”. If that wasn’t the truth or his was misunderstood I’d expect a retraction by now.

Well considering the young lady was revealed to be Ben Afleck’s former/current? nanny and side piece I think even a happily married woman would have some doubts.
She didn’t care about the sanctity of Afleck’s marriage and is happily grinning with Brady’s rings on her hand – yeah that one I’ll give Giselle a pass for. I’d have been judging him hard too, especially since guys usually know and hide their friends dirt.
I’d be less worried about Chrissy O and instead wondering who else was on the plane.

Also, several sports outlets & big sports names expressed surprise that he was just travelling around with his rings, letting randoms try them on for pics. If she was “one of many” as you say, that’s even more unusual, according to other pro athletes.
Perhaps Giselle felt that there is a good possibility the nanny serviced more men than Ben on that plane, which puts Tom under a cloud of suspicion. Letting a cheap trick, especially a tawdry, home wrecking cheap trick, wear your Super bowl rings is a strutting rooster, flirtatious move, and kind of intimate. I do believe Giselle is Tom’s number one fan and those rings have some meaning for her, as well as for Tom. It must have been an awful shock to see them on the nanny.

Considering the fact that his wife is an immigrant and I don’t care she’s married to Mr football and is a citizen now, the fact that she was born and raised in a Latin American country (even though Brazilians think they’re above the rest of Latin Americans) would make it NOT OK to endorse Trump. Yeah he made the comments about Mexicans but they are Latinos so I would find it insulting.

Gisele is as much a Latina as Lupita. She knows she’s not the target of Trump’s hate. She’s a white person of German descent. That she was born in Brazil is incidental.
@AllSigns – listen, I know the trend is to dislike Gisele, but to try and deny/downplay the fact that she IS Brazilian, is ridiculous.
A good chunk of the immigrants at the US borders are South American – Venezuelan or Colombian immigrants are likely to be as ‘white’ as Gisele, but to many American lawmakers and bigots including Trump, they’re all dirty Hispanics anyway. I doubt anyone is checking the racial demographics of the area they fled from to check ‘oh oh, that’s white, they’re not that target of our hate!’

I don’t know that I buy that she was “jealous” of the nanny. I tend to think it was more anger and exasperation that Brady got entangled in the Affleck mess–and that she, Gisele, didn’t want to look like she was possibly being cheated on. Also, Brady got a lot of derision for having his Super Bowl rings so available that people were passing them around and trying them on.
I also think that this photo cheapened his rings.

I’m a Pats fan and I was SO PISSED at the pics of the Nanny wearing the rings!!! The shoes off legs all cuddled up enraged me too. It felt disrespectful to allow her to wear the rings.

Can speak for the husband’s alleged reaction to the boob job, but as far as her image is concerned, she’s always advocated for natural, no intervention living.
A boob job isn’t letting nature take it’s course. It’s going against the all natural image that she pushes.

And ironically, having nursed 2 children myself I think at least that part of a natural lifestyle goes hand in hand with plastic surgery. Talk about “deflated” 🙂

Eh. It’s a time honored tradition to make ridiculous proclamations about motherhood and aging when you’re childless and in your 20s. Most of us are just fortunate to not have it published to live on forever.
As for the subterfuge, what bugs me is that it’s none of our business to judge what she does with her body, and while I frequently disagree with the things she says, I also recognize that she’s allowed to do whatever she wants with her body and isn’t obligated to tell us.
I tend to think that they’re doing fine. I also don’t believe that Gisele insisted on moving to Massachusetts. I’m pretty sure that move was made because Brady works in mass. I think they were splitting time between Mass and California because Brady’s oldest son lived in Cali. Now that Brady’s ex relocated to New York, there’s no reason to spend offseasons in Cali.
I’m sure they were stressed but they seem fine.

She posted a picture of baby pitbull puppies with laughing children, saying “the media be like: vicious pitbulls attacking children”. haha so dumb people believe everything they read. There have been multiple tweets of people saying they have seen Tom and Gisele on dates at dinner,movies etc cuddling,laughing,smiling ad looking super in love and happy. But ignore facts and keep believing your “sources”….

I think they have a strong marriage. Giselle is a strong woman and I like that. He seems like an ass more and more with his cheating in football, etc. Nice family tho and I think they are dedicated to each other which I like.

Gisele have not being in Brazil for a long time. If she appears somewhere the celebrity press goes after her.
I do not like Gisele (or FrankenTom, for that matter) one bit, but I think she had every right to be pissed at the nanny wearing her husband’s rings in that picture. I would have been furious at my husband if he let his friend’s side piece wear something that special.
And if Tom was so worried about his career, I think the ring thing and being on the plane with his friend’s mistress is a lot worse than Gisele in a burka, which I do think is pretty bad on its own. But Tom’s misstep was worse.
