Last month at New York Fashion Week, Jaden Smith sat in the front row and locked lips with his new girlfriend, Sarah Snyder. She’s cute, right? He is 17, and she is 19. They’re in that make-out-everywhere stage, but apparently, Sarah is trouble. She went to court on Friday as a follow-up for a June 15 arrest. Sarah was arrested for third-degree larceny because she (allegedly) stole a $15,990 Hermes bag from a fancy boutique. This is more than a silly, youthful offense. I suspected she would plead guilty and end up with probation, but Sarah’s attorney says his client has no intention of accepting a court deal:
“As of last night, we made it clear to the district attorney’s office that we would not be accepting any offers or any pleas and that no pleas would be entered. The only thing we are interested in is an exoneration and an apology. At this point we are preparing for a potential trial, whether it is to be tried as a felony or a misdemeanor.”

She’ll take her chances with the charges, which is interesting. The district attorney wouldn’t have proceeded with charges against Sarah without at least meeting preponderance of the evidence, meaning a crime was committed, and it’s reasonable to believe Sarah could have committed it. Anyway, Sarah Instagrammed herself wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with her mugshot. Yes, “sarahf*ckingsnyder56” is her Instagram handle:
Is this more than a little bizarre? Her caption, “56 nights,” refers to the Future song. The tune was inspired by DJ Esco’s jail sentence in Dubai for “this fairy dust particle of weed in my backpack,” which he said required a magnifying glass to view. There were rumors that Sarah also wore this t-shirt to court on Friday, but her attorney told People this was not the case. He also said Sarah was innocent and “erroneously charged.”
Anyway, Jaden and Sarah are all over each other all the time. She even posted this butt-grabbing photo to Instagram. Classy.

Just because a person is charged with a crime does not mean a crime was committed. Too much politics goes on in the prosecuters office, especially in a big city, to think that only guilty people are ever charged. Why even have a trial if you really think the prosecutor can decide guilt on his own? Innocent people without access to expensive attorneys are bullied into accepting plea deals every day. This girl is just lucky enough to be able to say no to a plea because she is innocent. Or she is guilty and thinks her laywer will get her off. Either way the rich get off and the poor get screwed.

There does seem to be a question about her age. She’s claimed to be 21 for modeling, according to some sources. But she could have lied about that.

Yeah, that’s what I thought. At 19 I would never, ever have looked at a 17 year old with potential. I was a sophomore in college and even talking to a high schooler was part of a distant past I could no longer relate to.

I knew they dated but it seemed like they kept it kind of quiet at the time (same with how Kendall kept dating Michael B. Jordan quiet). Tyga seems to be the first boy (cause he’s not a man) that she made a point to be seen photographed with and go to public events with.
There are two types of shoplifters: amateurs (who do it for the thrill) and professionals (who do it to sell the stuff). I’ve often thought Lindsay Lohan is a bit of both. Anyway, it’s bad news either way for this girl. If she does it for thrills, it’s a hard habit to break. If she does it for money, Jayden better guard his piggy bank.
Shoplifters typically steal many times before they are caught, and it’s very unlikely that they start off with pricey bags. And it’s unlikely that a pretty blonde model would be arrested after a four month investigation without some serious evidence. If this is her first arrest for shoplifting, they are likely to go for probation. But if the North Carolina charges are hers, that could be a problem.

Yeah this chick clearly has issues, at this level (stealing thousands upon thousands) she needs to get some real help or she will be serving jail time for years soon. Pathetic.
If we can believe a source in North Carolina, she had a problem with Xanax and was stealing and offering other services to dealers to get the stuff. Don’t know if she still has a problem, but that would make more sense for the earlier charges, which involved a few hundred dollars stolen from a house. The pricey bag is an upgrade, though.
Sad that all this is splashed all over the tabloids now because she’s with the Smith kid, her mom must not be thrilled. But if she does have a drug problem and a sticky fingers problem, the Smith parentals had better do some parenting. Jaden seems like an easy mark.
