Good for her. I absolutely hate men who feel they can get away with groping a woman cause she won’t want to cause a scene by reacting.

    • Wiffie says:

I hate wonderwall links. They aren’t links to articles but a whole stupid wall of thumbnails with no titles to comb through. It’s annoying as crap and total click bait that ends up giving me blue balls.

  2. Luca76 says:

I am no fan but I so strongly applaud her for this especially since he tried to cover his a**. He should have slinked away and taken the hit.

  3. lucy2 says:

I’m disgusted by the radio guy thinking any of that was remotely acceptable, and I believe Swift on this one. I’m glad she’s standing up for herself here.
Charlize’s dress is insane! And I will be bummed if the Drew story is true.

  4. BackstageBitchy says:

    1) why would that dude have thought he could get away with groping one of the most powerful women in entertainment?

    2) I really hope the Drew story isn’t true. They are actually both really nice people overall, and those babies are LITTLE!
    Work it out, people!

    • perplexed says:

I don’t get how the guy thought he could get away with it either. So stupid.

    • jm says:

He’s probably gotten away with it before. I imagine most artists think it was an accident and/or are afraid of causing a problem and/or loosing air time on the radio. New artists especially…which doesn’t apply to her, but the jerk (I’d use a stronger term, but don’t know whats allowed on here) probably thought he was invincible…look how many douche bags got away with even worse…

  5. antipodean says:

Astounding that Mimi and James Packer are still together. I guess true love is real. James is probably one of the rare men who can truly attest to having the face of a fried gumboot. He must have hidden talents which Mimi finds irresistible.

    • Lindsay says:

Lol. Is having over a billion dollars considered a hidden talent?

    • Beth says:

I don’t think he’s that unattractive. I don’t think he’s handsome, especially by hollywood standards, but I could see the appeal. They look loved up, to me, so I find it a little mean that people are like “she’s in love with his money.” Does she like expensive things? Obviously. But I genuinely think they have compatible personalities

    • Veronica says:

I don’t find him utterly hideous, though I don’t think he’s by any means particularly attractive. More like on the lower end of the scale of average looking. But money is inevitable part of why he’s able to attract better looking women.

(Though, I think Mimi is closer in age and general “fit” than Miranda Kerr was for him. She was already wealthy, so his billions are just icing on the cake, and he gets the prestige of dating an iconic singer. They’re both getting something out of it, then.)

re Taylor Swift DJ: “…and alleges that in fact his boss, Eddie Haskell,…”
Really? Passing blame onto Eddie Haskell? Sounds like something he would do.

  7. PennyLane says:

Not a fan of Taylor Swift and I wasn’t there, but that being said…I totally believe her. If the photographer was in front of them, the guy could have easily lifted her skirt from behind, without anyone seeing – especially if they were standing close together. Unfortunately there are people out there who consider young women’s bodies to be community property and they can just do as they please.

Why would TS make something like this up? Does she typically file these sorts of lawsuits? Is this accusation part of a pattern with her or is it a one-off? These are serious charges and she is being serious about them. I believe her.

Good for her for having lawyers and for planning to donate any damages if she wins.

  8. iheartgossip says:

Oh lookie, the queen of demanding attention is yet again, demanding attention. I don’t believe her. Sorry.

    • Tana says:

The guy is not denying that it happened, he is saying that he is not the guy that groped her. I think it’s disgusting that you think you can deny someone else’s experience of sexual assault, based on nothing but her image. This is the same kind of thinking as guys who rape women and say they were asking for it because of they were dressed. It’s not okay!

    • Alyce says:

The guy isn’t even claiming that it didn’t happen, he’s just claiming that it wasn’t him.

Edit: Sorry, I didn’t notice your response Tana. I agree with everything you said!

    • Fluff says:

The fact that society demands that sexual abuse victims act and behave in a certain way before they’re allowed to be treated as victims is one of the main reasons we live in a thriving rape culture. I bet you think women who wear short skirts deserve to be raped, too.

    • Veronica says:

Why would a woman whose entire career revolves around impeccable, non-controversial PR falsely file a sexual assault charge? What about that would be worthwhile for any victim, much less a major pop star?

    • Sparkly says:

Wow, seriously? As far as ‘demanding attention’, the link actually says it’s a *counter-suit*, so he actually sued her first for this.

    • lucy2 says:

She isn’t demanding attention – she dealt with it quietly at the time, made the complaint – and then he got fired and sued her. She’s counter-suing, and hasn’t said anything publicly about it beyond the suit.

  9. Emmygrant says:

    So you believe him, then?

  10. GoSsip says:

I refuse to believe that Drew and her husband are splitting up. Do any of y’all follow her on Instagram? They just went on a loved up tour through Europe in September!

  11. pinetree13 says:

I was actually groped for the first time in MANY years last week while in a parking lot leaning into my car’s backseat to unbuckle my child. Scared the crap out of me and I was super shocked. I really debated whether to report it or not. In the end, I didn’t. I didn’t want to go to the police station, wait in line (when I had a thousand things to do that day), give a really crappy description (I have a really hard time recalling what people look like) and then nothing would even happen anyway. I do feel guilt because what if he escalates it would be good to have on file…but….it just seems like reporting it would make things worse for me than for him.
OH and the two people I told were both like “Why didn’t you hit him or something?” ummm and risk getting punched? I am a small person…that seems like it would be a horribly bad idea. I read a really good quote the other day “A man who will hit/grab out of attraction, won’t think twice about punching in anger”.
Anyway, that was really off-topic but I cringed when I read that headline. Makes me feel bad for not reporting it. :S As this is obviously why they do it…they know that no one will report it or that if they do it’s not a serious enough crime for police to put time/energy into (at least not where I live).
