David Caruso is something of a legend. Mostly a legend in his own mind, but there are a few legendary career tidbits about the CSI: Miami star. First, he left NYPD Blue at the show’s peak, all because he thought he was a big enough star to make it on his own in film. When his film career crashed and burned, he got his second chance on CSI: Miami, but some sources (mainly on the Gawker Media sites) claim that on the set, Caruso is something of an epic douche, and a bad actor to boot.

Now another interesting tidbit for the David Caruso files. Liza Marquez, his ex-girlfriend is suing him. Liza claims that Caruso inflicted “emotional distress” while they were together, tried to force her into having an abortion when she was pregnant with their first child, and leaving her while she was pregnant with their second child. She also claims that Caruso told people she was mentally ill and that she wanted to have sex with Billy Dee Williams (who doesn’t?). If that’s not enough, she’s also claiming that Caruso struck her while she was pregnant, and that Caruso has a collection of 1970s porn (who doesn’t?). Star Magazine has more:

David Caruso has been slapped with a lawsuit from an ex-girlfriend he dumped while she was pregnant.

In papers filed in L.A. County Superior Court on Thursday, Liza Marquez claims that the CSI: Miami star; whom she met in 2004 — inflicted emotional distress on her and breached their agreement that he would support her.

Some of Marquez’s bombshell allegations include that David asked her to terminate her first pregnancy, raised a hand to her when she was pregnant, accused her of wanting to bed Billy Dee Williams and told people she was mentally ill.

The papers also state that she found David’s secret collection of 1970s porn hidden in his bedroom.

Shortly before Marquez gave birth to their second child in 2007, they stopped living together. They officially split upon her return from the hospital — after giving birth — when she was served with a paternity action. With the paperwork there was a note from David’s attorney stating that reconciliation is not an option.”

Nearly a year later, Marquez alleges that they made an agreement in which David would pay her $1 million.

However, she claims he never followed through.

For everything this woman is alleging, a cool million dollars sounds like too little. If only half of it is true, I’d go for something like $10 million. Or how about $100,000 for each back issue of Hustler and Penthouse from the 1970s? That might make it easier. All jokes aside, if Caruso is the biological father of one or both of the children, he’s got some back child support to pay. But what the hell is the Billy Dee Williams thing about?
