Sting and Trudie to perform in benefit

Sting and his wife Trudie Styler looking happy
Sting and his wife, Trudie Styler, will perform in a one-night-only theater benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at the The New Victory Theater in New York City on March 27:

Written by JOHN CAIRD (co-director of Les Misérables, director of Nicholas Nickelby and Jane Eyre). We hear the most intimate words, music, and shared passions of the extraordinary composers and lovers Robert and Clara Schumann read by Sting and his wife Trudie Styler.

It’s an expensive affair, with the cheapest tickets going for $250, but it’s for a good cause and is tax deductible.

Sting and Trudie are pictured above at a March 3 Chanel fashion show, where the famous couple was more interesting than the models:

THE nagging riddle that has troubled retailers, designers, stylists and fashion-conscious customers everywhere — what precisely do Sting and Trudie do to look so young and idyllically happy together — may never be satisfactorily answered, though to judge from yesterday, watching a Chanel show makes them pretty pleased with life.
