Here are more photos from the LA (world) premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The premiere was HUGE. So many people came out, not just those involved with the Star Wars franchise, but people who just wanted to see the movie at long last. But this post is for some of the people actually in the movie. Let’s start with Daisy Ridley, the virtual unknown cast as the lead out of nowhere. Daisy went for a princess look – maybe because Rey is a princess?!?! – in this white, gauzy Chloe gown. Between the hair, the makeup and the polka-dotted tulle, is anyone else getting a major Keira Knightley vibe? I think that’s why Daisy was chosen – she can be styled to look like a Keira/Natalie Portman hybrid and that might be significant down the line, right? That Queen Amidala and Princess Leia and Rey all have a somewhat similar look?
John Boyega wearing one glove and a purple suit? Stop playing with my mind, dude!!
I can’t be alone in finding Domhnall Gleeson attractive. I’ve become a late-in-life ginger-lover. But more than his glorious ginger, I just find him attractive for his vibe. He seems cool, funny and interesting. GINGER STAR WARS.
And here are Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver. I love them both, honestly.

Domhnall on the side, upside down, and round about. I am not usually a ginger fan, but he is one fine dude. I just saw Unbroken, and he was heartbreaking in that. He is proving to be a bit of a chameleon, and still so young. He is on track to have as storied a career as his father.
John looks cute as well, talk about a mega watt smile.
Polka dots, ruffles, tassels – needs editing. Too much.
Agreed. A bit over the top.
A bit too bridal. Not horrible or anything but changing the belt to a black, narrower one, losing some ruffles would have done wonders for it. Love her styling and I agree the similarity is a big reason for the choice.

I’m getting a young Jennifer Garner vibe. Must be the dimples.
Maybe a blend of JG and KK. She definitely reminds me more of KK (that was my immediate first thought when I saw her originally).
OMG Adam and Oscar together, I would faint! I have a huge crush on both of them.
Domhnall looks better without the hairy neck. See him shaven in “Brooklyn.”
He was also a brunette is Brooklyn if I’m not mistaken, the whole ’50s styling did him good in that film!
Although, the overall story of Brooklyn was ok, don’t get the mega-hype around it.

Oscar and Adam – yes!! The dress, though, is not attractive, IMO. Maybe because I’ve never been a ruffles and lace girl.
I like the dress. It fits her beautifully, nothing is hanging out, and it is age-appropriate. I don’t think it would work on someone older, but she’s a young person and she looks fresh and pretty.

For the last few weeks she has morphed into Keira,especially with the teeth and the jutting jaw
If I remember Keira had a bit part in Episode 1 as Amidala’s lady in waiting/ security and killed off on the opening of Episode 2 ,as I assume her career was hotting up…
When she speaks it’s like Keira all over again,and quite honestly one is enough!
No the handmaiden killed at the beginning of Episode 2 was Corde.
We never really hear any more about Sabe (Knightley) after episode 1. In the movies anyway.
i think daisy ridley looks more like keira in pics than she does on screen (moving).
She really does look a lot like Keira. I always see the Natalie Portman comparisons too, but didn’t see it until these photos.
I kind of like the dress – not something I’d pick for myself, but it looks young and pretty and she seems happy in it.

I haven’t even gotten around to the face, I’m preoccupied with his hair. It looks so silky and soft, especially the way it catches the light. I’ve been getting into embroidery lately and it reminds me of silk embroidery threads… One could probably needle paint a fox with that hair.
I must say, I don’t think there is a member of this cast I dislike. All of them seem wonderful to me, even those I’m not that familiar with. Does anyone else feel the same way?

I don’t understand why John Boyega is wearing one leather glove but I don’t care because I just love him that much LOL.
I don’t get the glove either, but I’m loving that suit. He looks awesome.
Yeah she is Kiera Knighley but with longer veneers. So kudos on getting someone who looks exactly like her character’s speculated grandmother’s look-alike body guard.

John Boyega is everything and I just love that eggplant colored suit. I want the best for him because this role and the haters gave him so much ridiculous shit.
I LOVE Boyega – guy has talent. Don’t get the fuss over RIdley other than she looks and talks like Keira Knightly, which lets face it is very likely the reason she was cast. There is something about her that just irritates me – have no idea what is it as its irrational but it could be because she’s a bit try hard.
Love me some Gleeson – Oscar is fine too but when he’s on the red carpet i get a Eric Estrada vibe from him.

You’re not alone Kaiser – I agree wholeheartedly about Domhnall Gleeson. I usually love gingers, but I was not attracted to him at first based on the looks alone. Then I watched some of his movies and interviews and the fact that he seems like an awesome person to be around made him so much more attractive. Oscar is hot but Domhnall is my nr 1.

And I’ve always loved red hair, but Dohmnall is especially good looking! He wasn’t on my radar before but now I think I’ll start with learning how to pronounce his name.

I have adored Mad Eye Moody’s son since he was Bill Weasley and I’m glad he’s getting some great roles. Yes, I know his real name but he will always be Bill Weasley.
Yes Daisys dress is totally giving me Keira vibes and also makes me want a cappuccino.
