L&S: The Weeknd cheated on Bella Hadid with 2 women a few months ago

FFN_Wang_NYFW_KET_091315_51848912

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd have been dating for most of the year. I’m pretty sure. The first sightings of them together and reports about their relationship came in early spring. Many wondered why Bella and The Weeknd’s relationship didn’t get the kind of disgust that Tyga and Kylie Jenner’s relationship got. For what it’s worth, I do think the relationships are different. Tyga had a partner and a child when he started hooking up with Kylie when she was apparently 16-years old . It was gross on a lot of levels.

The Weeknd is 25, and Bella is 19, and while the age difference gives me a case of the eye-rolls, they’re both legal and they were both single when they got together (she was 18 when they first started dating). Still, The Weeknd doesn’t have the best reputation with women. I’m not saying he’s a ladies’ man as much as I think he might have issues with women, judging by his lyrics and his interviews. I’ve also heard some stories… which we’ve probably all heard. So is this story all that surprising?

Model Bella Hadid’s boyfriend, The Weeknd (real name: Abel Tesfaye), was seen with not one but two women at a party where his girlfriend was nowhere to be found, a source exclusively reveals to Life & Style Weekly. According to the source, the “Can’t Feel My Face” singer, 25, met the women, both 19, after his album release party for Beauty Behind the Madness in August, three months after he began dating Bella, who’s also 19.

“He went to an afterparty at a private house in LA,” the source tells Life & Style, adding that The Weeknd started flirting with the two ladies: one petite and dark-haired, the other a tall and curvy blonde.

Soon, “he was making out with both of them, going back and forth. Then they disappeared into a bedroom together.”

[From Life & Style]

A four-months’ old story about The Weeknd cheating on his girlfriend of a few months? Wow. So shocking. I mean, I believe that this happened. I believe he has a wandering eye. I believe Bella is his “official” and that he fools around all the time. But I hope the next time we hear about his “cheating,” the story is something more recent.

Kardashian 2.0 is selling it hard.

  2. Felice. says:

She looks like a mix of JLaw and Liv Tyler.

Also she had a “friendship” with Tyler the Creator but he seemed to not moved forward with it. He has a song about it on his most recent album.

  3. Farah says:

Anyone from Toronto can tell you stories about The Weeknd’s love of porn stars and strippers. He also LOVES white woman. There’s the infamous story of his security telling club owners to deny black woman entry.

You can tell by his lyrics he clearly has some deep seated issues with women.

    • V4Real says:

Cuba Gooding Jr. also loves White women and Robert DiNiro loves Black women. It’s a preference.

      • Mira says:

        V4Real
I don’t know if the story is true
But come on, a preference or type is not the same as denying someone entry from a club based on skin colour. Unless DeNiro and Cuba actively deny people entry based on their skin colour its not the same. The latter would be described as racism if it was a white pop star who denied black women entry to a club. Its also some kind of internalised racism, self hate if a black man can’t be around black women in a club.
Thats very sad for him that he is that messed up so i hope its not true.

      • Liv says:

Mira, it sounds made up that he was able to tell people to keep black women out of the club. Maybe out of the VIP-area? Which is still crazy and f*** up. He seems like an asshole and I don’t know why a 19-year-old-girl wants to be with someone like that.

      • V4Real says:

@Mira so you know for a fact the story is true huh? I was responding to her comment that he only dates White women.

      • Mira says:

        VReal who wrote
“so you know for a fact the story is true huh?”
Read my comment again, I wrote ” I don’t know if this story is true”
Its always a good idea to read comments properly before you respond with a knee jerk reaction. 😉

      Posted in wrong spot. 😉

“I just f***ked two b*tchs before I saw you” (The Hills)
      At least he’s honest lol.

    • polonoscopy says:

Abel is a well-known asshole in Toronto. This isn’t the best example, but a high profile example is that Drake basically discovered him, invested in him and turned him into the performer he is today on the assumption he would sign to his label – and then Abel didn’t. Because he’s a dick. And the women issues are well known and terrible.

  4. Renae says: says:

Truly one of the weirdest names out there, The Weekend! I can’t even say it and not laugh. He seems to be lacking in talent but not in creating gossip. They look really odd as a couple, so I am assuming somebody behind the scenes is trying to get Bella’s name out there just like they did Gigi her sister. Next, Anwar will start popping up in gossip. Does that equal fame and talent now?

    • Kitten says:

Why do they look odd as a couple? They look fine to me.

      • Bridget says:

At least in this pic, they look mismatched. She looks like she’s going to her school’s winter formal.

      • Fran says:

“The Weeknd is 25, and Bella is 19, and while the age difference gives me a case of the eye-rolls,”

WHAT!? That seems just fine to me :/

    • Aarika says:

The Weeknd lacking in talent? Nah

      • Dani says:

He’s horrible live. I saw him at Barclays recently and it was such a waste of money. The light show was pretty awesome but everything else, I could have skipped.

    • V4Real says:

Don’t worry his little brother album is about to drop and his name is Weekday. I kid, I kid.

All jokes aside say what you want about his dating habits but he is far from talentless.

    • Jay (the Canadian one) says:

Well given that he is definitely misspelling it anyway, maybe it’s supposed to be The Weakened, in honour of his wandering eye.

    • Greenieweenie says:

Yeah, srsly. Lacking in talent? Have you seen him perform? Talent, he’s not short on. Self-acceptance, growth or sanity, maybe.

      • Yepisaidit says:

He just stands there and tries to sing like Michael Jackson. No dancing and no real performing. His songs are catchy but not that great.

  5. Size Does Matter says:

She really needs to stand up straight! Pretty sure my mom would be proud of me for that.

  6. Betti says:

Don’t know much about his music but he has mysoginistic douche written all over him.

Plus he really needs a haircut. Who on earth thinks it’s sexy.

  7. Lora says:

I’m pretty sure he’s cheating… He’s young and most of the time away from her, no suprise here

  8. Siedhr says:

His hair is stupid. Who goes to the stylist and asks: “Please shape my hair as a fascinator.”?

  9. JeanGray says:

I know so many people who love this guy’s music. And while he can sing his butt off and the music is very catchy, his lyrics disgust me. It’s usually always some trashy song dealing with strippers, prostitutes or a woman he’s using at the moment or something degrading. I have heard he uses “women” as code for drugs which he seems to also have issues with. Either way, his lyrics usually annoy me and it pisses me off how so many people I know are so caught up with the “cool melodies” that they totally give a pass to what he is singing.

    • V4Real says:

I know what he is saying but it’s just music. You don’t like it then don’t listen to it. It pisses me off when people try to act holier than thou by asking how can you listen to that song.

      • Locke Lamora says:

But then we can say that about any art. Why do you care how women are portrayed in films and TV? It’s just film and TV. Or if they are racist? Still just art, no?

      • INeedANap says:

If you don’t want your art critiqued, don’t release it to the public. It’s time we started calling out men more for being misogynists.

      • V4Real says:

And if I don’t like it I would turn it off. You have a choice to watch or not, don’t you?

And I’m not an artist therefore my art isn’t being critiqued. I’m just saying it’s our choice what we listen to and who are others to judge me for what I listen to.

      • JeanGray says:

And it was just “art/music” when Rick Ross was rapping about slipping a molly in some woman’s drink and then having his way with her. Yet he felt repercussions (like an endorsement deal falling through) and had to publicly apologize for it because enough people actually stopped dancing to the beat long enough to listen to the words and rightfully made a big deal over it. But by all means, just keep shufiling along to the beat and ignore the message. It’s just music.

      • V4Real says:

Yes judgy mcjudgy I will listen to what I like. Weekend is talking about consentuall sex between the two sexes. It’s much different than Ross talking about drugging a woman to have sex with her. The two don’t compare but nice try.

      • Greyson says:

Saying just turn it off is reductive. If you walk into a store and it’s the Weeknd is playing, you can’t just “turn it off”. Popular music is pervasive and I do think artists who have misogynist lyrics should be called out. It shouldn’t be given a pass because of a good beat! Hell yeah I would be protesting music that was racist, so why does sexism go ignored? The only way to change this is for people to speak up about it.

      • V4Real says:

Well you can just walk out that store couldn’t you? If you have an issue with the music than by all means call your local radio station and protest it. Go on your local TV station and protest it. And there is a difference between sexism and racism. A man saying I hate you because you’re Black is not the same as saying this girl is flirting with me and I want to bang her into next week. I wish people would stop trying g to compare everything to racism just to prove their point.

      • Sticks says:

Yes but by your same logic it doesn’t matter what Rick Ross says. Just turn off the radio. Leave the store.

It’s scary to me that some think sexism and misogyny is all no big deal.

      • V4Real says:

@sticks Nice try for you as well. If I don’t like something that’s what I do. I don’t listen. But like I said there is a difference between singing about raping someone as opposed to talking about consentual sex. Big difference.

      • JeanGray says:

Plying a woman with alcohol and drugs and then coercing her into a gang bang is consensual depending who you are talking to, I guess.. (his lyrics to the song “initiation”) But no one is going to convince you of anything different.

    • fiona says:

Yeah, I don’t mind men who sleep around. It’s the way they do it. He sounds like a total misogynistic pig in his lyrics. Like women are just disposable toys. He’s gross.

  10. Nancy says:

A famous man cheating (allegedly lol) on his girl….shut my mouth. She is pretty but looks like a walking mannequin..

  11. Jane says:

His hair looks as if a dead cat is stuck to a shaved head. Gross.

  12. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

They’re young and have been dating a few months. Did we think this was undying, perfect love? You have to have these balled up relationships at that age to figure out what you want in a partner. She’ll be fine.

  13. Jen says:

His music is mysoginistic but he is mega talented. I just saw him live and it was great.
Ever hear Wicked Games? His first video / song and it’s still my fav. I don’t care about his lyrics I love his music.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Out of curiosity, why don’t you care that his lyrics are mysoginistic? Would you care if they were racist? I’m not attacking you. You have every right not to care, I just don’t understand how you can listen to music that expresses someone’s hate for you and not be bothered by it.

    • Jen says:

I guess it’s because I don’t really find his lyrics mysoginistic. I mean sure he’s a man slut and likes drugs and sex. I find Eminem’s music way more offensive. I don’t listen to those songs. And besides. You can turn the weekends song lyrics around and have a woman singing them too. It’s more about the love of Sex then hating women I think. Have u heard In the Night? Now that’s totally the opposite of mysoginy. Check it out.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I will, thanks. And there’s nothing wrong with loving sex! I don’t know his music, so thanks for explaining.

    • V4Real says:

Most people are saying that his song I can’t feel my face is really about drugs, not women. The Hills Have Eyes is about a girl he is seeing who is trying to hide their relationship because she is ashamed of him.Often is about consensual sex between a woman and a man.

      • Loulou says:

Yeah, not getting the misogynistic part that people are complaining about. He definitely sings about being promiscuous, but women sing about that too.

      • Coco says:

Hahaha, the first time I heard that song I changed the lyrics to ” I can’t feel my face when I’m with you, cause of cocaine”.

      • Farah says:

Listen to his song “The initiation” and tell he’s not a disgusting misogynist.

      • Jen says:

I can’t feel my face is totally about cocaine. Hands down.

  14. J says:

He’s said his hair is in honor of Basquiat. I agree it looks a little shabby, but Basquiat is cool. Not sure what that means for the Weeknd though. Does it make you cool to copy someone that is cool?

  15. Snorky says:

    I don’t think 25 & 18 is a weird age difference.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

It depends on the people, I think. But I do think over twenty and 16 is gross.

    • Locke Lamora says:

I think it’s a huge difference. One is barely out of highschool, the other is already out of university and working. 7 years is a huge difference at that point in life. It’s not a big deal later in life.

      • Greyson says:

I agree. In Bella’s case she isn’t going to college but still he has way more years as an adult — she just left high school!!

    • fiona says:

I think it’s huge and pretty gross. 25 is early adulthood. 18 is still almost a child. I feel like young people are more immature than ever. Later in life, not so much. Eg 30 and 37 but at such a young age it’s just ick.

    • Faith says:

Same, I am 21 and my boyfriend is 27 we live together, we pay rent together and I help look after his son he works full time while I finish my degree work part time and sort my acting career out. It depends on the level of maturity of both involved. Saying that he does seem a bit of a wanker.

    • kate says:

I don’t find the ages odd, but then at 18 I was already 2 years into a degree, working full time and living alone.

Do most teenagers finish high school at 18 in the states? In my country at that age most will be living an adult life.

  16. Lama Bean says:

Well his hair is a tribute to Jean-Michel Basquiat. It’s not just random.

  17. Dq says:

Why else would a man my age date a teenager….other than to use her and take advantage of her young impressionable mind…

Kylie started this trend (which isn’t really a trend) amongst the nepis (nepotism kids of the 2000s) and my god, am I glad to be an adult these days.

    • Colette says:

I hope you are joking about Kylie starting anything.Teenagers in Hollywood have been dating and marrying grown ass men forever.Drew Barrymore was 19 when she married a 31 year old, over twenty years ago.Juliette Lewis was a teen dating Brad Pitt. There are dozens of examples.

      • Louise177 says:

@Colette: I was going to say the same thing. A lot of 17/18 year old girls have dated guys 5+ years older. Look at Leonardo Dicaprio, the 16 year old who married the actor in his 50’s.

Is it even cheating when you’ve been dating for just a few months? Unless they agreed they were exclusive, which I doubt.

      • Daria Morgendorffer says:

Let’s not forget Jerry Seinfeld and Shoshanna Lonstein… He was 39 and she was 17!!! So gross.

@Dq, I agree with you about people often wanting to date someone younger because they’re either manipulative or mentally young/immature. I know a guy in his 30s who continues to date women a decade or more younger than him because he doesn’t want to get serious with anyone. I’m not saying this is always the case, but in many cases I think it’s a way to escape responsibility or commitment that a woman or man their own age would likely be seeking.

      • Dq says:

If you look in between the parenthesis , you will see that I was joking. I made what I believe was a mistake at 18, too, dating men beyond high school without realizing the consequences of doing so until it was too late/until I really grew up. And that was a long time ago so…no it’s def. not a trend.

But I strongly believe this dude is skeevy. I have a teenage brother and the idea of hitting on his friends is just vomit inducing.

      • Tiffany :) says:

It’s not just in Hollywood. All over the world adult men to after teen girls.

  18. Cupcake says:

He’s a very talented musician IMO but not attractive at all. Whether this story is true or not I think that Bella should dump him and move on.

    • fiona says:

But she wont. She’s a social climber and needs to date someone famous. I hate my generations obsession with slutty, misogynistic men. utterly sick of rewarding this scumbags. His music is alright but I listened to his earlier music & the lyrics. A female artist with similar views wouldn’t get away with it.

  19. CornyBlue says:

Bella Hadid looks like what JLaw would like if she was a high fashion model. And yes i know she got a lot of surgery but it looks good and she did not go overboard.

  20. tila says:

For those that don’t think his music is gross – listen to initiation.

  21. The culture of some of this generation saddens me. It’s all image, fame, vulgarity & sex. no morals or values needed. When I see what seem to be nice, young, girls with some foundation of values & self-respect (that doesn’t include any Kardashian) give themselves to pigs with a known, skeevy reputation with women….well it tells me that those values were never instilled or fame & wanting to be considered sexy won out. Sad.

  22. Freebunny says:

Basquiat’s hair were never that bad.

  23. Jayna says:

Dating a young, famous singer/musician you are an idiot if you expect that they are faithful on the road.

  24. Pandy says:

He’s certainly enjoying his 15 minutes. Let’s see how long his career lasts (and hers!!).

  25. Pandy says:

He’s certainly enjoying his 15 minutes. Let’s see how long his career lasts (and hers!!).

  26. M.A.F. says:

I know nothing about either of these people. I keep thinking “the Weekend” is a band not some guy. And she does not look 19, she looks older. Either way…

    • word says:

That’s why he couldn’t use the name “The Weekend”. It was already taken…so he just took a letter out and called himself “The Weeknd”.

      • M.A.F. says:

Then come up with another name or just use your real name. He still sounds as if he is a band and not an individual performer.

  27. NeoCleo says:

They do make an odd-looking couple. She’s dressed for a cocktail party and he looks like he’s headed to a cosmetology class.

  28. justagirl says:

Well after reading the various “I like him, not misogynistic” posts I was curious and looked up his lyrics…and wish I hadn’t. His earlier material is especially disturbing.

It has been frequently written about his ‘dark side’ and misogyny in lyrics. Also the words depraved, disturbing, sociopathic and narcissistic have been used to describe his lyrics/themes.

That we’re in a world where so many artists with material like that – plus his behavior & attitudes in regular life – are accepted as mainstream & even appear on network tv (The Voice) – there’s something wrong with that.

  29. Emilye says:

I think there’s something sexy about him. Like a mysterious quality you can’t quite get to but will continue to try.

  30. AnotherDirtyMartini says:

I like his music, but nope! Fug. And a jerk, if true.
