Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth have ‘told friends they’re engaged again’

miley1

File this under: “Least Shocking News of the Week.” After Miley Cyrus posted an Instagram this week showing off her old engagement ring, I guess we were all supposed to be in a tizzy about her engagement being “back on.” Miley and Liam Hemsworth’s relationship began in 2009 and engagement was over in 2012-13. Think about that. They were apart for three years, and then they started up again in December, and instead of taking it slow and figuring out how to have a relationship that worked this time around, they just went ahead and jumped right back into an engagement. Miley was spotted out and about yesterday, flashing her ring – go here to see. And now both Us Weekly and People Magazine are saying that it’s officially back on.

It’s official: true love does prevail! Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are “engaged again,” a source confirms to Us Weekly. The pair have even decided to move in together.

“Miley and Liam are 100 percent back on,” a source tells Us of the couple, who slowly started to reconcile this past April. The Independence Day: Resurgence actor has “told friends they’re engaged again.”

Hemsworth, 26, originally popped the question to the 23-year-old singer in 2012, but they called off their engagement the following year. In fact, the pair are so certain about their rekindled romance that Cyrus has decided to cohabitate with The Hunger Games star. “She’s moving back in with him and bringing her dogs,” a second insider tells Us. “She has always loved him.”

“Miley and Liam are picking up right where they left off,” the source says.

[From Us Weekly]

People Magazine’s unnamed source says the same thing: “Miley is beyond happy to be engaged to Liam again. It might seem sudden, but they have been very close for the past few months. They just wanted to keep their relationship out of the spotlight while they figured things out. Liam never liked how exposed his life was with Miley.” Right. So Liam didn’t like Miley’s overexposure, so the solution is to get re-engaged after dating again for a few months? Sigh.

Oh, and People’s source also says this: “Miley wants to get married. His family was very hesitant about a marriage in the past, but they really got to know Miley better when she spent time in Australia a few weeks ago. Everyone seems excited that they are back together.” Most of us always believed that the Hemsworth family were the ones telling Liam to put the brakes on the Miley thing years ago, that he shouldn’t marry her. I kind of wonder if there will be a repeat of that.

Also: is it tacky to wear the same engagement ring from your previously broken engagement? I feel like there’s a Miss Manners rule about it.

    Run Liam Run!

    • lilacflowers says:

      Fast!

    • CTgirl says:

No one can outrun Miley’s thirst. It is strong, damaging, and emasculating. Kind of reminds one of that movie Teeth.

      • Jane says:

CTgirl-suddenly I have a vision of Miley chasing after Liam with glitter, glue gem press-ons (and God knows what else I cannot type on here) asking for him to have a sexy play night. I highly doubt she is going to sober up, grow up and be a responsible wife to him. That child wants to get stoned, snap selfies, and create drama.

    • Amanda G says:

Agreed. I hate that this hot, yummy man still holds torch for this crazy girl.

      • Snowflake says:

Me too! He is way too hot and seemingly nice to be over the moon for this immature twat

      • iSO says:

I like Miley, with mistakes Made, shes in the pure experimental phase and exploring shock value. 20 something anyone ? Some
Of us have been there, (thankfully before the advent of social media where everyone’s a j Edgar Hoover style troll) I hope this Liam isn’t using her to regain relevance or attention. I hope it’s love and I hope they grow and improve together.

    • Jenn says:

Why Liam why? Shes sooo annoying and thats only based on knowing her through photos!! Dont do it!

  2. Greenieweenie says:

Oh, kids. Just leave it be.

  3. Brunswickstoval says:

I had wondered if that’s why she’s growing her hair again. I guess he’s gone from hating the exposure to needing it.

    Crazy kids.

  4. QQ says:

This won’t be an epic disaster when that thirsty *sshole gets dumped by her cheating (but definitely hot, also without the cardboard accent) Hemsworth , not at all, I plan on being here for that

    • Belle Epoch says:

Where is he in this publicity stunt? Usually couples announce engagements together. Has he said anything? Does it mean anything to him?

  5. Senaber says:

I wonder if she gave him the ring back then he kept it all these years? That would be pretty romantic sorry not sorry.

    • LB says:

I read that she kept the ring. I also read that they’ve been back together since last summer. Or at least talking since then.

  6. Cici says:

Wow, they need to slow down!

That said, the pictures do tell an interesting story. I had forgotten how pretty Miley looked when she was with him. She was trying classier, more adult-looking styles and I thought she looked really good. She went completely off the rails when they broke up. I do believe she was very much in love with him and went nuts when he left hence all her crazy behavior and looks the last few years.

I hope they will put more thought into this.

    • Lama Bean says:

I totally agree that she was put together so well. It’s almost like you forget because she looks so trashy all the time.

      • mee says:

i think she looked so boring when she was with him… conventional and boring. but when she cut her hair, she suddenly looked very interesting. i hope she’s not sacrificing or repressing her real personality to be with him.

      • Otaku fairy says:

The funny thing about that is that even back in those days when she was with Liam, people were constantly cluching their pearls and getting angry every time she showed a little bit of skin. Whether it was a long cleavage baring gown, short shorts, or a leotard showing no more than a one piece bathing suit, it was always “The horror! She’s a bad role model/sl_t/trashy. What does Liam see in her and her father must be so ashamed! Why can’t she and Taylor Momsen be Good Girls like Swifty, Selena, and Demi?” But now those same people would probably be grateful if she went back to dressing and presenting the way she did between 2009 and 2012. #should’vethoughtaboutthatpuritans. 🙂

    • meh says:

And by going off the rails you mean she successfully recreated herself from a has been Disney girl to an incredibly talented, eclectic, awesome and hugely successful performing artist and social activist.

      • Ennie says:

        meh.

      • L says:

How can someone be a social activist and a racist? Is demeaning little people and riding the cultural appropriation train part of activism now?

Very few people dislike Miley Cyrus for dressing how she wants, singing about what she wants, or even for enjoying weed- none of that is as edgy as she seems to think it is- but no one, but no one, should be treating black people and little people the way she has!!

      • Liv says:

What L says. And I don’t think that her latest phase is representing her persona. She’s trying to be edgy and groundbreaking when she’s not. She thinks she’s freeing the feminine body when she jumps around naked, but she’s just contributing to the sexism of the music industry. This girl doesn’t know who she is, which is a reason to not get engaged or married.

      • Otaku fairy says:

@L: In the same way that activists like Janice Raymond, Cathy Brennan, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Margaret Sanger, Susan B. Anthony, Susan Brownmiller, Sinead O Connor, and Camille Paglia have participated in transphobia, misogyny, racism, and victim blaming. That’s not even counting all the popular feminist bloggers and celebrities that could be on that list.
Do we acknowledge that they are or were activists? Yes.
@meh: But at the same time, activism should never get people a pass for everything they do. We can like the activism but still point out that some of the things they’ve done are harmful toward Trans people, people of color, women, or victims of sex crimes. (I separated those groups because each of those women, including Miley, have done things that are problematic for a different group).

      • Otaku fairy says:

@L: I also meant to say that even though her immodest antics aren’t what you and I criticize her for, the most popular criticism of Miley has always been, and still is, about people wanting her to be more modest. That’s true about other women too. It shouldn’t be that way though. The problem is her use of other peoples cultures to make herself look edgy. But people spend more time complaining about her flaunting being “trashy and unladylike.”

      • Otaku fairy says:

@Liv: Saying that a woman is contributing to sexism by posing naked is like saying a woman is contributing to sexism by dressing modestly or holding off on sex. There have always been patriarchal pressures and sexist attitudes around all 3 of those decisions for women as a group, but that doesn’t mean that those decisions ARE the oppression or that women can’t be freed from something by having access to those choices. Other people who share our sex or gender making decisions with their own bodies that we’re not comfortable with isn’t automatically oppression. Women not being able to choose or reject certain choices with their bodies without being destitute, facing harassment, blame, or abuse, or being discriminated against is. And when we criticize and scapegoat women for flashing the flesh but don’t have the same objections when our male faves or Hollywood douchebags do it, we’re being sexist.

      • Tammy White says:

I agree with everything you wrote otaku fairy.

  7. CornyBlue says:

Always always here for this drama as long as my girl Jen remains away from this.

  8. Ninks says:

    This will end well.

  9. Tiffany27 says:

I don’t want to wish ill on them, but this breakup will be spectacular.

  10. Pinky says:

Sell the old engagement ring and use the money to buy a new, updated one that’s reflective of the changes you’ve undergone and the growth you’ve experienced during the break. Unless of course you two are the same hot azz messes you were before and haven’t learned a goddamn thing?

    Why do I bother asking.

  11. Me too says:

I love this!!! I love Miley. She gets a bad rap mostly because many people simply cannot accept her lifestyle. She seems like a genuinely nice and caring person that is truly loyal to her friends. I’ve always had a feeling this should happen. And, I could really care less about what Miss Manners has to say about this. I bought my own rings second-hand because we were too poor to afford anything more and he was unemployed at the time. Are the judgement police coming for me now????

    • Mrs Dragon says:

Respect and power to you “Me too”. the whole ring and ring size business is way too much Hollywood and Americanized..in many other cultures this concept doesnot exist and really it shoudl be about the right person rather than the ring.

    • amunet ma'at says:

I think she gets a bad rap for appropriating a culture she knows nothing about for fame and promoting drug use and oversexualized imagery for teens. If she is going to live her life fine, but she’s basically living a side show circus just for attention, which is fine if that’s how her bread is buttered but can also be criticized because she is putting it out there.

      • Narak says:

I like her and she is great singer. Just because they are both young doesn’t mean the relationship won’t have lasting power.

    • Pinetree13 says:

I’m not a fan of either but I want them to work. I like them together. I couldn’t tell you why I feel this way but I just do. They’ll have blue eyed babies with cute squinty eyes together. So are they Miam? Liley? Uhhh

    • Katie says:

No judgement! I too have modest rings because we were young and broke. Now we are in a better financial place but I’ll never trade up. My rings mean too much.

I don’t think it’s tacky to wear the same ring from your broken engagement to the same person. Tacky would be giving the ring from your broken engagement to a new fiancé.

    • Alex says:

Her clothing (or lack thereof) is not my issue its the jacking of our culture I have a problem with. Then she wants to come for Nicki about black issues when she appropriates the culture?! GIRL BYE

  12. Mrs Dragon says:

Hemsworth family “objects’ to Miley – who is way more accomplished than Liam(and certainly better known , higher earning perhaps?) ??!! The same family where Chris married ELSA PATAKY :O wow! Selective meddling? And a 26-year old man should make his own decisions- Miley is what she is (I am not a fan) but all these confirmations only talk of her happiness..what about him? Is he doing HER a favor? And yes the same question about the ring…unless its a heirloom, its weird..because they can definitly afford a different ring but maybe they have sentimentl reasons.. in which case WHO kept the ring all these years?

    • FLORC says:

Elsa never went around with pasties, posing for Uncle Terry, and flaunting drug use. Higher earning or not that matters.
If my family came to me and said that they ddidn’t approve because of those reasons it wouldn’t be meddling. It would be looking out for me.

I’m reserved about Elsa. Before she was with really horrible people that 1 can morph into by association. Now she poses hard at the camera, gets herself into loads of red carpets, but is she doing anything else to give a side eye to? No. Not really. She’s got a sketchy uptradey past, but that appears to have stopped and by all accounts she a good mom and with no rumors of stepping out of Chris. So… keep judging her on her past and tryhard poses?

      • Mrs Dragon says:

I am not sure what you mean by ” I’m reserved about Elsa. Before she was with really horrible people that 1 can morph into by association. ”
I donot know her exes to know they are horrible though adrian brody is definitely a good actor 🙂 Chris is good looking sure, but not a good actor.
I dont care about or anyon’s past but uptrading is a horrible quality, a woman should create her own worth and wealth rather than seeking men to take them to afria with brody – and making obnoxious claims like the poor children were mesmerized by her beauty :O that is unforgivable) or red carpets ( as you mentioned red carpets).
I also donot know if she is a good mother but she certainly makes pretty babies. But she also dressed up as a Native american with Chris on Halloween so I am not sure how much she can truly educate her kids…thankfully they have enough money to afford good schools. And she is nearing 40, miley has many years left to learn better if elsa is the only comparison lol

And given her try-hard poses she will pose for Terry at the drop of a hat hould he ever ask her but she is just not that well-known!
She not only poses on carpets she also trys to garner attention by any means, recently by Miley’s pics on Elsa’s instagram. I am (I repeat) not a fan f Miley but the Hemsworths (esp Cris) have always shaded Miley in press….if they were looking out for Liam they could do in privae rather than insulting someone in the media..that itself speaks volumes about them. Miley seems to be trading down on all accounts. She should clean up her act and she would still be more accomplished.

      • FLORC says:

Brody isn’t a great actor as is highlighted in his work post Oscars. And he’s said to be 1 of the worst actors to work with from his attitude towards anything.
When Tina Fey (as 1 example of many) can’t say anything nice about you there’s a red flag. And she can say nice things about Lohan!

Now, the Native outfits. It was a theme and otheres there had those outfits so spread it evenly or not at all.
Also, that was very recent so you must have only started disliking her recently? Or that’s the only decent exmaple. Much of the rest is assumptions based on gossip circulation.

Still, being a terrible actress and posing hard isn’t enough. And vanity? Meh. That doesn’t mean she’s an idiot. Maybe she is, but that’s no measure.
All this amounts to why the Hems family didn’t object. As the point of your comment as i’m reading it.
Drugs, highlighting publicly terrible choices is what Miley brought. Elsa, she brought tryhard poses and attention seeking. No drugs, no bad behavior, just that. Still don’t see why a family should have disapproved.

      • Mrs Dragon says:

I wrote Brody is a good actor and certainly better than Chris H. What Tina Fey says doesnot matter, we dont know if she is as genuine as her press represents. Tom Hardy too is developing a bad reputation but he is a very good actor.
Skills and attitude are 2 different things. 🙂
If a party has a ‘theme’ and one is a public figure or not… adhering to the said theme is still an individual choice.. chooing to not only attend an offensive themed party but to instagram it is silly.
I like women who have their individual career and donot climb up through men/women/family so Miley >> Elsa – (sure Miley had a fmaous father but she still had a successful career, nepotism gets you a foot in but afterwards you are on your own) I also gave you the esample of Elsa’s comment on African kids which was extremely poor in taste and rather an old incident . I am not inclined to serach more examples for a virtual discussion.
since Elsa is not as well known here I donot know if she ever did drugs which by the way I am not condoning. But their family all shade miley in press which is using her as media bait…elsa simply never had that level of fame.

        Enough now…happy Sunday!

      • FLORC says:

I still think Brody is a bad actor post Oscars. His performances are horrible. Skill, Talent, presence, These are things I think he lacks. And so do many who see films, write films, cast films, make films, etc… as he gets the worst roles and still is awful.

        Dragon
Miley moved around as Elsa did. They just had different destinations. Different resources. I don’t think that matters as everyone grows in their own way.

You spoke to Elsa as someone who should have had the Hems family meddlings and dissapproving of more than Miley. I’m saying that makes no sense and gave examples. It is what it is.

        KB
Boy hair? Was that an issue? And does success mean more can be tolerated because there’s financial stability? Different values I guess,

    • KB says:

Thank you! Miley is the more accomplished one here. I know people don’t like her because she “dresses like a slut” or “has boy hair” or whatever else doesn’t meet their standards for ladydom. But in spite of all that judgement, she put out a successful record and followed it with a successful tour. She’s a boss.

    • Alex says:

I know right? If anything Liam used Miley for her fame just like I suspect he uses Jen for hers (those rumors about them come up like clockwork and its from his camp). But Chris married a social climber so yea they need to get over themselves. Its not like their sons are great actors.

  13. FLORC says:

I’ve always felt that if there’s been a breakup before they’ll be a breakup again. Unless, you’ve both dealt with the reasons in full why the breakup happened at all. I doubt these 2 have. I’m guessing they just missed eachother and swept the issues under the rug or minimized them in their own memories.

Miley might be toning down her behavior temporarily, but if she slips back into old ways who knows.

Hmm… recycled ring… It’s not the ring that caused the breakup. And unless that Diamond stores bad mojo idc.

    • Mrs Dragon says:

I agree about your rational explanation..breakups happen for a reason.

But in their specific case it all could be that Liam needs the media exposure that being with Miley will bring him…Chris’s single actor movie bombed (into the sea?), Liam is far less known to be bankable beyond the hunger games franchise…. and going by the way Elsa Pataky has ben instragramming pictures with miley…it all screams attention-seeking behavior on the hemsworth side…but its easier to blame Miley. Poor girl..she needs to learn a man should have substance, a perfectly scuplted body is a great add-on but substance and loyalty wins over that….thoughts too deep for their world perhaps.

      • FLORC says:

Elsa/Miley They have similar behavior. Miley imo goes to an extreme Elsa doesn’t. This cannot be denied looking at it all.
Liam will work steadily. Not to A level star, but steadily. Miley maybe just wants a companion. Liam seems sweet enough. Not a genius, but a match. Maybe that’s enough for some. That he left her when getting major exposure I think trumps your theory. And he did it quietly. Only Miley was speaking about it and looking for attention. Liam fell off the radar almost entirely with very brief showings, but not directly.

      • Mrs Dragon says:

Well its clear that you like Elsa while I could care less about all of them :). To be fair, Even if elsa goes to whatever extreme she wont command the press attention like miley, Its just the selective feminism press has that is off-putting.. Liam i think did not break up with Miley when getting major exposure, he left admist major press shading done by his family …And noone can guarantee that Liam will work steadily…and I am not sure about him bing sweet as he openly cheated with January jones…anyway I wont be posting on this anymore .. I come from a culture where families meddle among couples all the time and hence I think very strongly about men and women being able to shoulder the responsibility andor cnsequences of their relationship choices rather than publicy shaming the other party.

      • FLORC says:

        Dragon
Thing is I don’t care for Elsa. She can’t act. Looks barely like her original face, and appears like she’s an a lister. Still, you won’t see me on these threads going 1 way or another. Also, it’s vague you cite the hems fam did the dealings, but there’s nothing to really support that as a counter to Miley’s direct dealings.
Just countering. State opinions, be prepared to defend.
And we’e veered really off point. I tried to pull us back, but way off we went 😛
And I only came here to see the ring again.

    • Bridget says:

One thing has always stuck out about Liam: he seems to crave his own recognition. We’ve seen him bristle at comparisons to his brother, and Miley is a superstar and will always be the more famous one in the relationship. Will he be able to handle being overshadowed by her?

      • Mrs Dragon says:

@bridget- good point – if their history is an indication then probably not. But as miley seems nuts about him , he definitley has the power in the relationship…for now…time or people mag will tell us soon enough 😛

      • Nicole says:

This is true. Hence why I think he cheated on her in the first place. He doesn’t pull in an audience on his own, his fiancee was WAY more famous and in the world of THG Liam is the third wheel to Josh & Jen in every way. I think its an ego thing

    • Mewsie says:

Elsa has been naked in posters on the walls of most European teenage boys since the 90s and she LOVES every bit of attention she gets. First her tune was “I am a big star in Europe (not! She’s just been naked in small movies a lot) and I will conquer Hollywood too!” and after that didn’t work out she switched to “All I ever wanted was to be a mom!” She doesn’t do drugs because that is counterproductive for someone who is super obsessed with looking unattainably pretty. She’s resorted to extensive plastic surgery and all sorts of other procedures and she insists it’s all natural or the result of hard work, which is capitalizing on the insecurities of other women to make herself seem like a special snowflake. I used to live in France back when she was dating a French comedian and her thirst was legendary. And she’s been an uptrady, racist, plastic person for too long before marrying Chris for anyone who knows her from before to buy her “earth mother” schtick now.

People in Hollywood and in the press really love Chris, and that is why no one addresses Elsa’s thirst, poor taste or racism. Last year she was featured in a lingerie campaign consisting of several video commercials and one music video. She was so wooden in her movements for an actress who wants to be a fitness icon and everything was so heavily photoshopped, she didn’t even have a bellybutton in one of the videos. The singing was so bad, even her biggest fans cringed. Yet the media very generously praised her. But well, somehow she managed to convince everyone that she is the classiest person around and she constantly profits from that. Miley does a lot of questionable stuff too, but she is a huge name because of stuff she does, not because of who she sleeps with.

My biggest disappointment is to find out that Liam went vegan because of Miley, not because he thought about it with his own head.

      • FLORC says:

I almost entirely agree with you.

1 part. “Miley does a lot of questionable stuff too, but she is a huge name because of stuff she does, not because of who she sleeps with.”
Sure, But is the stuff she does so great? While I truly admire the work she tries to accomplish with homeless teens and animal adoption/rescue how she does it brings more attention to herself than the cause. If you fish through the drugs, the lack of clothes, the suggestive poses, and whatever can be done for shock value you might see something in there about a real cause that really needs attention. She distract from those good deeds for self promotion. She was so close so many times, but got in her own way.

Outside of that Miley is almost entirely known for her nudity and outrageous actions. Very rarely is anyone talking about her singing. If anything from a tour it was her suggestive performance.

That’s about all I have to say on this as there’s no more to say. Its all out.

Well, 1 thing. If they’re going to work they have to be able to operate alone and accept eachother as individuals. If they bend to the woshes of eachother (like being vegan) and not a choice of their own heart it’s not ideal imo.

      • Tink says:

Everyone, famous or not, should be able to make their own choices based on what they believe is right, not because their favourite actor or the person they are having naked cuddle-time with think it’s cool.

If I may, there seems to be a consensus even among Miley’s dissers that she does have a voice to work with. I for one don’t like her style or her music. But Ms. Pataky has made a career out of hooking up with high-profile, gullible men who got her publicity by proxy. And I thought the world had moved on from the point where a woman’s success was measured by her husband… but apparently it hasn’t. At least Miley’s mess-ups and accomplishments are hers and hers alone.

  14. Elisa the I. says:

Somehow they make sense together. I actually think this might work.

  15. Becky says:

I give it 6 months tops.

  16. The Original Mia says:

Word on the street is that they’ve been hooking up since the fall, so it’s not just a few months of post-coital bliss that they are in. Still…being engaged and being married are two different things.

I do side-eye Liam and his family’s tendency to meddle. Dude is almost 30. Grow a pair and live your life.

As for Miley, she hasn’t changed, so I have to wonder if her lifestyle wasn’t the problem and they just grew apart a few years ago.

    • CornyBlue says:

Liam is 26. Otherwise agree. I hate meddlesome families.

    • Valois says:

Since the fall means 4 months? That’s still only a few months to me.

    • Fanny says:

If your family can’t tell you you’re being stupid, who can?

Chris made some remarks after the first breakup that he just shook his head at his brother’s bad relationship decisions because he remembered behaving like an idiot at that age too. I think Liam’s family saw up close that the relationship was all about immaturity and drama.

  17. meg says:

she’s not getting much press lately so they do this? hunger games is over right? he needs a famous personal relationship to ensure he stays famous? she’s way too erratic to want marriage. either that or they’ll have the most non-traditional, open marriage-ever

    • Cs says:

I’m not sure about that to be honest. For all Miss Miley is really out there (sometimes literally, when it comes to her bits) with her public persona, for some reason she’s always struck me as someone who’s more traditional when it comes to serious relationships and marriage.

I don’t follow her so I might be wrong, though. Maybe her dating life is as crazy as her whole schtick.

  18. iheartjacksparrow says:

Does this mean we don’t have to see Miley naked in the future and her tongue stays in her mouth?

    • lilacflowers says:

We were seeing her naked and her tongue was hanging out of her month BEFORE the breakup. Right before the breakup. As in, “OMG! What the hell is she doing? I’m out of here now!” before the breakup.

  19. What's inside says:

I still think she kept the ring, that all of the inbetween stuff was about her career and how to mobilize it courtesy Jay Z and others, and that she and Liam have had an under the radar relationship during the entire thing. Now the bank accounts are padded, they can become public again. The other thing here is Miley is not exactly stable – look at her parents for God’s sake.

  20. Jess says:

I guess now that the hunger games movies are over he needs to get his name out there somehow. I always thought he used her to get publicity.

    • fiona says:

Same. He wasn’t getting enough offers and this publicity is better than nothing. Also nobody really slut shames him for being with her so there’s that double standard as well.

  21. Shelley says:

    I liked them together.
I think she is so incredibly talented. Just watch her backyard sessions if you don’t agree.
The time apart might have been the right move for them and I hope it works this time around.

  22. Emma - The JP Lover says:

I wonder why we haven’t seen Liam during this gushing ‘reunion’ week. He didn’t help her move in his house. ‘He’ hasn’t been officially quoted, just his ‘friends’ a close ‘source.’ I know he’s filming, but that has never stopped the press from getting confirmation from an actor … or from their business representatives.

I’m also confused by the news that his family members have suddenly ‘warmed up to her’ and have ‘gotten to know her” when Miley and Liam spent some time in Australia together during their first relationship. So now after Miley has shown the world how much she likes Twerking, riding large metal balls in the nude, and being proudly ‘pansexual’ Liam’s family warms up to her because they now know who she is? Okay.

  23. barret says:

If she is so wild, pan sexual why the “traditional” looking hunk and the RING so young???

Just live together like Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn!

    • nic919 says:

Exactly. Most women don’t get married until their late 20s now, if at all. Why be engaged?

      • Erinn says:

        Because she wants to?

I was engaged at 22, married at 24 (I’ll be 26 this year). Everyone start clutching their pearls because I didn’t do things that ‘most women’ do.

It always blows my mind that people get so invested in what other people do with their relationships. Their being engaged doesn’t affect any of us … if that’s what they want – then good for them.

    • Otaku fairy says:

      Stupid phone.

      • Otaku fairy says:

People who identify as bisexual or pansexual may have more attraction to, relationship history with, or sex with one gender or sex, but still be attracted to, have sex with, or have relationships with other genders and sexes.

      • fiona says:

Yeah yeah, but then why would you settle with a man at such a young age. Like, she has every option in the world to experiment. I’m bi but I’ve never had the chance to be with a woman because I am not “out there” like miley. I’ve never had the chance. Only men have been an option for me in my 23 years. Unless I use a site like craigslist – no thanks. If I were miley with all those options, I would have gone wild. Sadly no.

  24. Veronica says:

Hnn, you know, maybe I’m getting sentimental with age, but I wish them luck. My sister and her husband are actually a couple that didn’t make it when they were very young only to meet up years later and have it work out. *shrugs* Who knows.

  25. Caz says:

Everyone is over thinking it. If they’re happy together, so be it.

  26. stacey says:

she is so gross. i just don’t get what he sees in her now.

    • fiona says:

A pathway to a career. If you’re not a famous persons child, or sleeping with someone famous…You won’t stand a chance. Especially is 2015.

  27. Sam says:

Somebody needed to step in and rescue her from the influence of Wayne Coyne. And yes she needed to be rescued. She’s been right off the rails since hooking up with that guy and his crowd.

If spending time with Thor Jr can put her right again then I’m all for.

  28. Loo says:

They shouldn’t get married anytime soon. Wait 3 or 5 years and see how they feel.

  29. serena says:

Wearing the first broken engagment ring.. yeah, tacky and also calling for misfortune (this one is just an old saying). I guess good for them, I think she’s still a little too young and immature and he’s probably still a douchebag but hey, what do I care.

By the way did she also bring the cat and pig to Liam’s house?

  30. Scootypuffjr says:

I think there probably is a lot of love between them, regardless of what happens with the relationship. I’m kinda stabby about all the people who say, “Oh, is she going to clean up her act for him?”. She is who she is, and if he doesn’t like it, he shouldn’t be with her. I’ve been in those shoes, and if your partner doesn’t like something about you they might end up resenting you for just being who you are.
