This could be total and utter BS, but there’s been a rumor out there for months that The Weeknd wrote “The Hills” about fooling around with Ariana Grande when she was with Big Sean. If you listen to the lyrics, it sort of fits, and the hookup would probably fall around the same time The Weeknd and Ariana worked together on “Love Me Harder.” So… it was very interesting that Ariana was the one chosen to announce The Weeknd’s performance (a medley of Can’t Feel My Face and In the Night). It was also very interesting that The Weeknd chose this red carpet to be the first coupled-up appearance with his girlfriend Bella Hadid. Right?
As for the fashion, Bella Hadid wore Alexandre Vauthier. This was actually (no joke) one of my favorite dresses at the Grammys. It was sexy without being tacky, rock n’ roll without being cheeseball. The dress was flattering and she looked great with The Weeknd. On the other hand, Ariana Grande wore this Romona Keveza gown which is pretty boring. She also needs to get out of the high-pony rut she’s been in for years.
As for The Weeknd’s performance… I didn’t hate it or love it. I realize singing “The Hills” probably would have been too obvious (nevermind hell for the censors), but “In the Night” is not my favorite.

The honest answer to this question is no, they wouldn’t. Surgery and favour granting/buying connections are not cheap, without it they’d just be normal pretty girls you’d see shopping in a mall somewhere.

I couldn’t have said it better, myself….but I have on several occasions! Daddy pulled strings…daughters landed big gigs…Mommy promotes them on her show and every otter (as Mommy pronounces it) venue she can push her kids success on to the viewing public. Ugh. I’m over these two ordinary girls with exceptional connections. Mommy was prettier than both of you combined but my guess is, she earned her own way…at least that’s the impression I’ve gotten…

And I know this cause my friend who was much skinnier than these gjrls used to be approached by scouts when we were teenagers and when she went there once they told she was great but needed to lose 10 kilograms. That would make her 49 kgs at 177 cm.

I agree. This CD is a huge departure from his previous work. I guess Kissland was a prelude as the songs were more synth and upbeat- but even I liked Kissland. But after listening to Beauty Behind the Madness, my first thought was how COMMERCIAL it sounded. It’s such a departure in tone and sound. I’m not a fan.

Totally agree. I think after the buzz with “Earned it” he saw how profitable mainstream could be and got enticed by the fame. I’ve been a longtime fan, since he is Ethiopian like me, so I knew about him early on. The new stuff is just not my cup of tea.
I think Bella’s dress is unflattering, though she still looks beautiful. The Weekend sounded slightly off key to me, but I’m listening on my iPad and the sound quality isn’t great. Ariana always wears the same dress and does the same over the shoulder pose. Boring.

I mean, obviously I don’t know “the Weekend”, and he could be a really nice guy, but he just doesn’t scream “dateable” at me. I really don’t get it. Is this a teeenage rebellion thing? The desperation to be loved is clear on both their faces which is cloying. Ariana uses a cute lolita f*cktoy facial expression, Bella is kind of solemn in a “I’m so beautiful its depressing” way (but, respect my beauty). What bugs me most is that is not even Bella’s face. It’s widely documented that she bought that nose and lips throught the miracle of plastic surgery. Probably her boobs too. So we shouldnt be saying “shes so beautiful” we should be saying “shes so rich and well done mommy and daddy for finding the best surgeon for her career”. Why do parents even pay for college anymore? Invest in cosmetic surgery and some headshots.
If we neglect the fact that she got plastic surgery so young, which is wrong, I don’t see the problem with plastic surgery. She looks beautiful, real or not.

Bella’s face looks like an ice carving–it appears practically paralyzed, as with Botox and some other kind of fillers. It ages her, and makes her face so bland and expressionless, she looks almost superimposed in her surroundings; with no reflex or response to them whatsoever, it’s like she’s almost not actually there. I do not understand how she can be a model. I mean, I know her family is rich and connected, but her getting modeling jobs seem a bit of a stretch even so.
I think Bella’s gorgeous in a very sexy and mysterious way. If that’s surgery then all I can say is congrats to her surgeon. You, mister/miss, are great at your job. Her dress is good for Grammy standards.
