Is Brandi Glanville overdoing Botox & fillers again on the new season of RHOBH?

brandi bravo

The new season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills just started this week, and it definitely feels like people are sort of over the drama of the same old people. This is the season where Brandi Glanville got dumped as cast member, then producers realized that she was good at manufacturing drama, so they invited her to come on as a guest star. While Brandi wasn’t featured in the premiere episode, she will be appearing – with Yolanda Foster – in the next episode. Andy Cohen showed a preview on Watch What Happens Live, and now everyone is talking about Brandi’s crazy Botox-face. You can see the full clip here (it’s an auto-play video, or else I would have embedded it), and here’s a Twitter clip:

The whole top half of her face does not move at all. She tries to move her eyebrows and nothing happens. It’s really crazy to watch. Brandi has been getting injectible work done for years, and there’s some sort of ebb and flow to it. Sometimes she really, really overdoes it and it’s incredibly obvious, and then sometimes the work looks somewhat natural. I personally think Brandi relies too heavily on a sort of default tacky style that has become synonymous with “Real Housewife” style. Too many weaves, too much Botox and really tragic clothes, basically.

Here are some photos of Brandi out and about on Tuesday night in LA. In these pics, she doesn’t look AS frozen as she does in the Bravo clip, right?

More money than sense she has.

    • LookyLoo says:

      Preach, Yoda! 🙂

    • Kitten says:

No way! She’s “broke” according to her.

Yeeeeahhh…so her face is just….not good.

Additionally, I will never understand why she chooses to wear cheap, tacky-ass sh*t. She has an awesome long, lanky body that could probably pull off any outfit yet she wears metallic gold, short shorts, and see-through shirts that are straight out of Forever 21. I just don’t get it.

    • aaa says:

And it’s not like she has a lot of money. 😛

    • Div says:

She constantly complains about being broke but gets tons of work done on her face, drives a nice car, and lives in L.A. proper. I used to feel sorry for her but she’s milked the cow to death and then some. She’s probably taking at least $200k per year once taxes, her agent, etc. are taken care of…and could have a nice life in Woodland Hills or Santa Clarita. But nope, she’s gotta live in or near Beverly Hills RME.

      • Kitten says:

        Yep all of this.

      • Sonia says:

According to her book and twitter and interviews, since she shares custody with her ex hubby and they wanted to keep the kids in the same school district as before the divorce, she has no choice but to stay in the neighborhood she is in. She already (allegedly) has a heck of a commute to bring the kids to school when she has them.

      • paleokifaru says:

Just one of them could live within the boundaries and it would be fine. And how does she have a commute if they’re living within the school boundaries? Keeping kids in a particular school is not generally part of a custody agreement because people are expected to change their lives over the years. And there’s also nothing saying she must be in a house vs a condo or apartment or anything more affordable to her actual budget. From what I’ve read she and her ex could use some honest conversations about how to manage finances. I shudder to think of what the kids believe is acceptable for their future finances.

  2. Lucy2 says:

She’s had crazy Botox face for a long time now, but that clip was like watching a mannequin come to life.

  3. ReineDidon says:

I love her shorts and belt and Stella McCartney clutch 😃I wish I had the life where I could go happily out wearing that !!

On another note, her face /make up are terrible.

  4. GiGi says:

Um, the new season started in December…

  5. Patricia says:

I can’t even believe the women on these shows. All they do is have manufactured drama. I know it’s basically what makes the shows interesting but still, what grown woman is even able to come up with that kind of drama on a regular basis? They are like middle schoolers.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

It really does harken back to the seventh grade, doesn’t it? Do you know ANYBODY who acts like that? I don’t.

      • Kitten says:

Well.. probably not RHOBH-level but I do have a couple friends that are OTT dramatic, sadly. They seem to invite and court theatrics of any kind. I try to minimize my exposure to them because I don’t need crazy in my life.

Actually, I’m always encouraging one of them to smoke more weed because I think it would calm her ass down and reduce her exposure to shenanigans lol.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I probably still did at your age, too, Kitten. I guess I either weeded them out or they mellowed out. But I just don’t have time for all this drama. I love how they always say they want to “clear the air” before thy launch into a complete meltdown.

      • Kitten says:

So what happens to them in 20 years?
Do they just tire themselves out (please God)?

Because I feel like by your mid-thirties (one of them has several kids too) you should be done with that sh*t. Maybe they’re perpetually frozen at age 16 or something, maybe a case of arrested development.

Right. Let me “clear the air” by unloading my deep-seated issues and insecurities upon you while simultaneously blaming my personal failures on your sub-par friendship skills. I just don’t have the time for that sh*t. I have a job and a celebrity gossip blog to read, damn it. -_-

    • Christin says:

The few people I know who do it have too much time on their hands. Yet they would never admit that.

      • Kitten says:

        Yes.
Too much time + extremely self-involved = dramz

      • Christin says:

And to chime in on whether they ever change, most I have known do not. They keep going into their 80s.

One 50-ish co-worker had stage 4 cancer and both her family and her doctor specifically told her to avoid stress, as it could end her life. She openly admitted to several of us that it was impossible for her to change or separate herself from what created havoc in her life. I felt at that moment she would not make it. She lived less than six months. She had always been the type who was unhappy if drama wasn’t present in her life.

  6. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Like many women, Brandi would be pretty if she stopped trying to look twenty years old. But since she insists on messing with her face constantly and wearing shirts that are two sizes too small she just looks tacky and desperate.

    • Wren33 says:

Yeah, I am edging my way towards 40, and I don’t like to say women over a certain age shouldn’t wear X, but Brandi is a prime example of that.

    • vauvert says:

The looks are one thing, but have you guys read her latest pod comments about her poor son? It is beyond disgusting. I don’t know the methods through which Child Services can be called into a situation – or who can do it in the US, but IMO the boys need to be removed from her care. I rarely say anything this dramatic but she is an unfit mother.

      • Kelsey says:

What happened?? Or where can we read the comments?

      • vauvert says:

I saw the quotes on RealityTea. Apparently the backlash was so strong and immediate that she took down her post but of course by then it was all over the internet. Disgusting things about her calling her son a pervert, a f*cker, wiping his bum at the age of 8, and how he slaps her bottom – vile language and completely inappropriate behaviour. If a father said those things about his daughter he would be labelled an abuser (rightfully so). How this drunken mess gets a pass I don’t know.
Not sure how to link but I’ll try:

      • jenn12 says:

Listen, Brandi says some really stupid s–t, and I think she’s trying to come off as funny, and it isn’t. She needs to think first. But you have no idea what child abuse is, if you think this is abuse, and you’re minimizing actual abuse. When you’ve worked with kids who have broken bones, cigarette burns, countless bruises, are imitating sexual sounds a man makes “when he on top of my mommy”, are cowering and terrified; when you’re scared when they aren’t in school because you don’t know what’s going on in that house, THAT is abuse. Moronic remarks and TMI are NOT abuse. You don’t call BCW on a parent for stupid remarks, because she isn’t abusing them. You need to have some knowledge of what abuse looks like before making such incendiary remarks. Even Leann’s best friend, who hates her, and fought with her on twitter, says she is a good mother.

      • paleokifaru says:

@Jenn12 you might want to listen to the actual comments. It’s disgusting. If Leann had said it commenters would be screaming abuse and inappropriateness. And it is horrible even if you’re a blood relative. Just because you’ve witnessed worse treatment doesn’t make it acceptable.

      • jenn12 says:

You’re misunderstanding me. I am not excusing her comments, nor I did do so in the first post. Brandi repeatedly says what she should not. However, it is NOT abuse. Period. Stupid remarks are not abuse, and what I am saying is this: she needs to shut up and stop the stupidity, but she is NOT abusing her child. And it’s minimizing real abuse to say so. Yes, it is inappropriate, and yes, she needs to stop. That is different from abuse. I don’t like Leann, and I think she crosses every boundary possible, but that is also not child abuse (with the possible exception of her hypersexual behavior in front of children, which comes close). Abuse is different from behavior not being acceptable, and those comments are not acceptable. My guess- not that it excuses it- is that she thinks she’s funny, which she isn’t.

    • Tate says:

Agree. She is effing up her face trying to look 20. She would be much prettier without the work.

  7. here or there says:

I think it’s hilarious that Brandi is starting to look like Adrienne Maloof in her TH.

    • GlimmerLinnie says:

OMG she totally does! It’s funny, I remember watching an episode of the show a couple years ago and thinking Adrienne was the least beautiful of the wives and Brandi was the best-looking one.

    • Mrs. Darcy says:

omg I only just read your comment, same exact thoughts posted below!

    • JenniferJustice says:

She totally does. And oddly, neither of them look like themselves. They’ve both morphed into some kind of barbie wanna be face. That top picture doesn’t even look like Brandi and when Adrienne met with Kyle on RH recently, I didn’t even know that was her. Seriously, I couldn’t figure out who it was until after their talk and Kyle referenced her by name. Crazy.

    • Size Does Matter says:

Color her hair dark and she looks just like alien cat face Kardashian. It’s uncanny how all the procedures create such a homogenous look.

    • outhousecat says:

My first thought was Kim K went blonde again, and OMG what a mess.

  8. tegteg says:

I looked at pictures of her from 20 years ago and she was STUNNING. Looks like she’s had a nose job since then and it’s totally messed with her facial proportions. Now she looks like a puffy squirrel. All of this tweaking just looks so unpleasant. I think she would look so much better with wrinkles than this bloated looked she has going on.

    • Kitten says:

I always read comments like this about Brandi but to be fair, that was TWENTY years ago. Nobody looks like they did 20 years ago because, aging and all that pesky stuff.

      • Marie says:

Yes, she’s fine for twenty years aged from the original photo.. The awful thing is looking at Leann’s face and realizing she’s in her early 30’s and looks ten years older, because of bad plastic surgery she had done to look like Brandi.

  9. Mrs. Darcy says:

God in that freeze frame she is really starting to morph into Adrienne Maloof, so weird! It’s so excessive, but then I guess that’s her overall style with everything. So ageing and unnecessary.

  10. Murphy says:

…RHBH has been on for at least 6 weeks already, it didn’t “just start”

  11. jferber says:

Sorry, but I like the way she looks. And if if makes her feel better to get the fillers, do it. I do. And the last thing I’d want is someone judging me. Yes, I know she’s a public person, but this excessive scrutiny of women’s faces and bodies IS sexist, especially since the males don’t have every diameter of their faces and bodies examined for approval or disapproval. For example, the Donald gets made fun of for his hair and his orange color, but who has said anything about his puffy face, double chin, gut, etc.? Males just don’t get that same magnifying glass reserved for women, especially women who have dared to age past their twenties. If they tweak, they’re criticized, if the don’t, they get their picture splashed on tabloids on what a ruin they are, how they’ve aged horribly, etc. etc. etc. How do women win?

    • Kitten says:

Ideally, women (AND men) “win” by finding some sort of self-acceptance. It’s not to say that you shouldn’t get surgery, because I agree with you in that I support people doing whatever makes them feel better. But there’s a thin line between A Better Version of Me and Holy Shit I Can’t Move My Face and the difference is a Naomi Watts and a Brandi Glanville. BTW, Naomi is 4 or 5 years older than Brandi.

    • Jayna says:

Meh, Brandi came on the show and everyone talked about how pretty she was and young looking. It was a soft, pretty face. There was no need to go crazy as she looked great, but she became greedy and obsessed with looking even better when she was already praised about how great she looked. She wasn’t aging. But she has aged herself with heavy botox and fillers and on and on. And everyone says she’s ruined her face and was so pretty, but she can’t stop it. She’s addicted. She will lie and say she isn’t doing it anymore, but her face says differently. She looks older and harder.

    • Portugal the Stan says:

This is honestly the best she has ever looked and decades younger. This is more than Botox and fillers. Her face looks much tighter and youthful. Facelift?

  12. Jacqueline says:

I seriously thought the gold look was from 5 years ago, not present day. She looks like a Femme Bot.

Also, if your buttons are pulling like that, you’re wearing the wrong sized shirt.

  13. Jana says:

She now looks just like Adrienne Maloof who is at least 10 years older than herself…why would anyone keep having procedures that age them?

    • Jayna says:

And she used to make fun of Adrienne Maloof as being so overdone with the plastic surgery. People are like, look in the mirror, Brandi.

  14. Bobbie says:

Too much too soon. Great figure though.

Her hair is voluminous in the first photo – is that natural?

Yolanda’s look in that clip is killing me for all the wrong reasons.

  15. Marie says:

The jacket, purse and shoes are great together. The outfit could have worked if she’d worn either the shirt with pants or the shorts with a longer and non-sheer top. She over did it, and her body type can wear almost anything. It would be funny if Leann tries to copy this one, since it would be a disaster on her. She’s been SWF-ing Brandi hard for the last couple of weeks on social media, Brandi’s post of her son getting his hair cut, Brandi’s selfie on her bedroom floor, picture of a rose, a selfie without makeup etc. All of them copied within hours by Leann. Eddie must be cheating again, if Leann’s trying this hard to be his ex.

  16. TeresaMaria says:

The 6th season of RHOBH is about to wrap actually, I think it was episode 16 this week?

  17. Pandy says:

I think she looks like Courtney Stodden LOLLLL! Like that’s a fembot you want to emulate! I thought her out at night picture was okay until I saw the full body shot. Then you see those legs and see how her face looks fuller than her legs and it’s a totally different color … ugh.

  18. Renae says says:

I think she is a stunning woman. She’s just doing what all women in that zip code do with fillers. When you are considered over the hill at 28 in LA, it’s no wonder the plastic surgeons are getting filthy rich. Sad world we live in when all the importance is placed on a youthful appearance Hollywood style.

  19. Dee says:

She trying to be a p0rn star cause thas what she looks like.

  20. Skins says:

    She looks ridiculous

  21. AnotherDirtyMartini says:

There was a time, long ago, that I thought Brandi was pretty. I’ll just leave it at that. Oh, and her high pitched chihuahua voice hurts my ears.

  22. Kitty says:

She stopped doing fillers a long time ago. Like everyone you stop a video while talking and your face is going to look strange too. Especially since she was talking emphatically about Rinna being crazy in that video.

That said, even she agrees this isn’t her best look. But at least she tries mixing it up.

We all age and try looks that don’t work.

  23. Jezi says:

I couldn’t imagine people scrutinizing my every look. This is why women feel the need to get Botox and fillers because of nasty comments like these. Let’s see all your faces? She has no shame admitting her fillers and Botox and perhaps she has a distorted image of herself because she’s constantly inundated with remarks about her face. It’s disgusting and people do it not thinking of how the person on the other end feel when reading it.
