Itās a big week for the Democratic Party. Hillary Clinton is now the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, the first woman to ever win her partyās presidential nomination. Bernie Sanders is meeting with Pres. Obama today and people expect that Sen. Sanders will be dropping out or suspending his campaign in the next few days. People are also expecting Pres. Obama to formally endorse Hillary Clinton, perhaps today, perhaps tomorrow, but sometime soon. And perhaps the biggest moment of for Dems? Madonna finally got to meet Pres. Obama! Heās been in office for seven-plus years and theyāve never met. They met backstage at the Tonight Show last night and Obama stopped and posed for photos with her.
As for Obamaās interview, they havenāt released the interview on YouTube yet (itās set to air tonight, so it was pretaped on Wednesday), but hereās the clip everyone is talking about, where Obama says he actually is āworriedā about the GOP.
Personally, Iām not worried about the GOP. Their racist, dog-whistle chickens have come home to roost and itās glorious.
I kind of love that Madonna labeled this one a āmeeting of Leos.ā She and the president are both Leos, obviously. So is Bill Clinton. So is my mom! Leos get it done.

What an honor to meet the president of our country! While I know nobody is perfect, I think Obama did the best he could and brought grace and compassion to the White House. I would consider him one of the best presidents America has had. He and his family will be missed. This is coming from a Southerner with right-wing tendencies who is terrified at the thought of Drumpf as president.

I think Obama has executed the Presidency with an even hand, and although not perfect, with the good of the people always at the forefront of his intentions. I think he’s served this country well, although I know some people will disagree — that’s just how politics goes.
I am going to miss him so, so much. He is such a wonderful world leader.
