Chris Brown’s ex-manager claims Brown brutally assaulted him last month

The man ^^ in the brown jacket behind Chris Brown has the most glorious hair I have ever seen!!! OMG. Anyway, if we’re talking about Chris Brown, you know he’s probably done one of three things: assaulted someone, stalked and harassed someone or said something about how it’s really hard on him that he has a reputation as an abuser and jackass. Guess what it is today? Chris Brown’s former manager/handler is now suing him. Mike G, who worked for Brown since 2012, claims that Brown brutally assaulted him last month.

Chris Brown has more legal woes … the guy he hired to rehabilitate his image after the Rihanna beating is now suing Chris for allegedly doing the same to him. Mike G claims he was hired in 2012 not only to change Brown’s image but to get him out of debt and off drugs. Mike G says he did well by Chris, who had a resurgence in popularity.

Things allegedly turned bad last month, but Mike G claims without provocation, Brown took him in a room, brutally attacked him with repeated punches to the face and neck, which landed him in the ER. The lawsuit claims Brown, rather than being remorseful, began mocking Mike G on social media and bragging to friends about the beating. Mike G says Brown had the audacity to tell people working on his tour, if they got out of line he’d beat them just like he beat Mike G.

Mike G says Brown’s rage was drug-fueled and the suit mention concern for retaliation from Brown’s “gang member friends.” Mike G’s attorney, Patty Glaser, tells TMZ, “We did everything we could to resolve this in a non-public way to avoid damage to Chris Brown. Regrettably, as outlined in our complaint, Chris Brown has proven to be his own worst enemy.”

[From TMZ]

Does anyone feel like, “Yes, that sounds like something that would happen”? It sounds completely in-character for Chris Brown.

It only took a few hours before Chris Brown “responded” to the lawsuit with an Instagram video (which he has since deleted). Chris says, in a NSFW rant, that Mike G is just mad because Chris fired him for stealing money. Chris says: “I fired them because they’re stealing money. You’re stealing money pal, so you’re mad because you’re no longer existent … God Bless you. Wish you the best of luck.” Mike G’s lawyer responded to that allegation, saying: “We’ve seen Chris Brown’s Instagram post. It’s a pathetic reaction to the lawsuit. There is no truth to his claim and Brown knows it. We’ll amend our complaint to add claims for defamation.”

FFS go away already. And I’m not advocating violence by any means, but that’s what you get for trying to manage a 5⭐️ rage monster.

    • Ain'tNoTelling says:

Read your statement. You ARE advocating violence. You are insinuating that the manager deserved to get beaten because Brown had a history of violence, when he became employed by Brown, or Brown’s “team”. Basically, are also implying that the victim of violence is responsible for the actions of the offender. That’s a “type” of violence advocacy.

What is wrong with people? Do people even take time be be thoughtful, and question the soundness of their belief systems, before they comment?

      • TG says:

You’ve got to be kidding me. The manager willingly decided to “rehab” the image of a man who repeatedly beats, threatens and harasses people. Prior to and and under his management. He’s complicit FFS.

      • qwerty says:

That’s kinda like lawyers who get guilty people out of rape or domestic abuse situations… the way you’re earning a living is legal but you’ve got some karma coming your way

      • Intuitive says:

        I agree completely @AintNoTelling.

If you read the statement, it says the manager was hired to get him off drugs, amongst other things. So how does that make him deserving and complicit?

And as for the legal comment… Everyone is entitled to a defence, that’s the nature of the adversarial criminal justice system we live in. To wish otherwise, is to advocate lynchings and mob rule.

      • TG says:

Because Chris was attacking, hurting, harassing, threatening, stalking, defaming, ad nauseum, while his manager was handling him. What is so difficult to see here? It’s like owning a willfully aggressive dog that has bitten numerous people, and then you’re shocked when it turns on you. I’m not saying Brown doesn’t deserve due legal process, and I’m not saying what Brown did was right. I’m saying the manager is an idiot to work with someone with a long and documented history of violence, and one who continued to be violent while they worked together. And it’s f-cking gross that the manager tried to gloss up Brown’s image when he obviously *still* has major violent tendencies.

      • qwerty says:

        @Intuitive
I get what you’re saying and I do agree that a society that wants justice has to accept that it means justice for everyone, including rapists, child killers and the like. That said, there are lawyers out there who made it their thing to take on cases like the Brock Turner one and drag their victims through the mud. It’s one thing to offer someone a chance of a due process, and quite another to go that extra mile to assure that they get off easily at all costs.

      • Intuitive says:

Sounds like victim blaming to me. If you follow that ‘logic’, would you say the same about victims of domestic violence? Oh, it’s their fault that, they were with someone who was violent/had been violent before etc.?!

      • Snowflake says:

Yes, you guys are totally victim blaming. I bet you guys aren’t saying amber heard knew what she was getting into, she should have known this would happen. Same thing as saying this manager should have known.

      • JenniferJustice says:

Since the manager was hired, among other things, to get Fists off drugs, it’s completely understandable that the manager blamed his violence on his drug-using and I’m willing to bet Brown uses his drugs using to his avail when he gets in trouble – ergo, Brown probably fed him a line something like “when I’m not on drugs, I’m a nice calm guy.” It is logical to think the manager did not think he’d be a Brown beating victim because he was going to “cure” him by getting him off drugs. It didnt’ work because drugs are not the reason why Brown is violent. He is simply a violent man – sober or otherwise. You ask “what did he think was going to happen?” My answer is He thought he could fix him. He was naive just like every other victim. Being niave isn’t reason to deserve being assaulted.

Any grown man would be surprised at another man giving him a beat down bc it’s a completely different scenario than the man beating a woman scenario. And I can say with confidence from working in DV that most beaters do not take on men. Most beaters are cowards and only beat people who are smaller, weaker, etc…people who can’t fight back or not enough to do any real damage. Every abuser I’ve seen in court, is a coward. They can’t even make eye contact with male attorneys and judges and it isn’t shame – it’s fear. They can’t handle going up against a peer or some one bigger or in power. They only feel in confident when they’re controling someone they can control. Bottom line, I don’t think the manager taking on Brown as a client is ridiculous and he certainly didn’t deserve a beat down just because Brown is a known violent thug. Anything else is victim shaming and the number one reason why victims don’t leave. Most victims leave for periods of time, but go back bc they think they can’t make it on their own or that nobody else would have them because now they’re “damaged goods”. Imagine how it feels for a person to be in that situation knowing people are whispering, “why did he/she go back knowing they’re going to get beat again?” Because they’ve been wired to hang on to hope – that’s why.

“the guy he hired to rehabilitate his image after the Rihanna beating is now suing Chris for allegedly doing the same to him.” Good Lord.
Brown looks like he’s on death’s door.

    • doofus says:

yeah, he looks meth-y. not quite skeletal, but you can see the effects for sure.

      • Tobbs says:

I didn’t know he did meth. But I noticed he looked worse than usual. I can’t even feel bad for this guy.

      • doofus says:

I don’t know for sure, either, Tobbs, I didn’t mean to imply that.

it’s just what I’ve seen from people who have been heavy users…crack users also lose weight like that, too. though he doesn’t have the “meth-skin” that so many users have…the “picking” that leaves sores…so maybe it IS crack, or just the old stand-by of cocaine.

either way, I can’t feel bad for him either.

      • qwerty says:

He got fat when he was on probation IIRC. Anytime that happens to anfamous person you know they’re hooked on some sh!te normally

  3. Almondjoy says:

    So sick of Chris. Ugh.

The man with the gorgeous hair is EJ King, he’s a stylist.

  4. Roxane says:

Why he is not in jail already ?!

  5. Capepopsie says:

    Some people obviously never learn
    or grow up.

    • qwerty says:

Hard for that to happen when you’re shielded from responsibility by everyone around you.

  6. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Nice to see how he learned his lesson.

  7. sauvage says:

SURPRISE! said no-one. It was eerily quiet when the cake popped open and out jumped an unapologetic, violent narcissist.

  8. Ada says:

Chris is simply a trouble magnet. He keeps sabotaging himself despite his talent. (Yes I said it, he is extremely talented) What a waste, I really hope he gets it together and grow up soon.

    • Sally J. Freedman says:

No, he isn’t a trouble magnet. He doesn’t attract trouble. He IS the trouble.

      • doofus says:

I agree with your post, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE your username!

        Judy Blume for-EVAH!!!

    • joanne says:

he is not sabotaging himself, he is beating people. talent does not excuse his behaviour.

  9. anon33 says:

Let’s see how quickly this is taken seriously because he did it to a man this time…

  10. Marigold says:

    Jesus, he looks terrible.

  11. Zuzus Girl says:

Violent asshole being a violent asshole. Shocking.

  12. Harryg says:

I loathe Brown. Also hate his peeping girly voice and idiot songs.

  13. Nancy says:

I think it’s impossible for him to change. I thought his daughter might swing him in the right direction, but guess not. I hate to say born to lose, it’s so defeating, but he refuses to change. He brought himself down, but thank goodness Rihanna appears happy as a lark.

  14. Jen uk says:

The last pic…. Posing next to the restrooms sign… Trying to find his career that’s gradually going down the 🚽…?!?! 🙊 Smh

  15. jferber says:

EJ King needs to be better known. Definitely. Chris also recently stomped on a fan’s head during a concert. I’m surprised he gets unsupervised visits with his daughter. He is a dangerous person and not in a sexy/cool way. Surely he must be a sociopath?
