One of the things that always struck me as odd about Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris’s relationship was that she never seemed like his physical type. Calvin’s dating history was full of olive-skinned, usually dark-haired women with curves. His type is more “brunette swimsuit model” than “Taylor Swift.” So what’s happened with Calvin Harris’s love life post-Swifty? I’ve heard stories and seen photos indicating that he’s been having fun with some dark-haired ladies. And now he’s found someone special. Maybe. Perhaps.
Calvin Harris has found a new love. A source tells Page Six exclusively that the DJ is “casually” seeing “Superlove” singer Tinashe.
“They have been seeing each other on the DL. It’s only been weeks, so it’s still pretty casual right now. They’ve been on a few dates,” the source told us.
Tinashe and Harris met in the studio in 2014 when they collaborated on the song “Dollar Signs.” They were rumored to be writing songs for Rihanna at the time.
“They stayed in touch and recently started hanging out again,” the source said. The duo was spotted on a date at Nobu in Malibu on Saturday. “It was clearly a date. They were super close,” a spy said. Reps for the couple did not comment.

I’m sure I’ve heard on the radio before, but her voice isn’t super-memorable? Still, I hope this is for real. I hope Calvin happily moves on with Tinashe and he conducts the next relationship with less drama. Of course, I doubt that will happen. But you never know!

MTE! I’m on Calvin’s side when it comes to exposing Taylor Swift’s bullshit, but he is a douchebag of the highest order. I’ve listened to a radio interview with this girl before and she seemed hard working and less annoying than some of her peers. She deserves better!

Obviously staged but smart. Tinashe is the antithesis of Taylor. She curses in her music, she writes sexually assertive lyrics and the interracial aspect will enrage Taylors aryan nation fanbase. Point, Harris.
