Okay, who in the betting pool had 14 months for Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s reconciliation? We can’t cash in just yet, but according to the teaser clip for the return of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe tells Kim that Kourt and Scott are “totally getting back together”… at some point. Kourtney Kardashian is the first to admit that, emotionally, she’s “so not there yet” in terms of a reconciliation with ex Scott Disick, but one of her sisters begs to differ.
During Sunday’s midseason finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, a sneak peek at the next batch of episodes revealed that little sister Khloé Kardashian believes the former flames are “totally getting back together one day.”
In a recent episode of KUWTK, 36-year-old Kourtney told mom Kris Jenner, 60, that “Scott can just take any little thing and run with it and think that like we’re getting back together tomorrow.”
“Right now I can’t even wrap my head around that idea,” she added. “There’s so much work that would be involved and I’m so not even there yet.”
It’s a line the oldest Kardashian sister had toed many times before with Disick, with whom she had three children over the course of their nine-year relationship.
“When it comes to Scott, I’m not looking to get back together any time soon,” she said in an older episode. “I don’t have specific boundaries set, but … I don’t feel like I’m giving any false hope.”
If Khloe said it, it must be true, right? Although, let’s face it – she’s right. Even though Kourtney keeps saying the joint trips don’t mean anything and claims she can’t even think about reconciling with Scott right now, she always leaves the door open to the idea that they will reunite. So why hasn’t it happened yet? Surely there are enough storylines to carry them into season 103 or whatever their goal is without having to keep the Kourtney/Scott reunion in their back pocket.
One thing that seems fairly obvious is that Scott caused a lot of problems. Between his issues with alcohol and his inability to stay faithful, Scott did everything he could to push Kourtney away. After professing his love for her, it seems like maybe Scott is starting to realize that he needs to get his sh-t together to make this happen. On his last paid appearance at 1OAK nightclub in Vegas, Scott said he might retire from nightclub appearances in favor of finding way to make money “during the day”. Let’s start a Suggestion Box for ways that he can make money during the day – making balloon animals sounds fun. Who knows? Maybe Scott is working on himself to be a better father to his children and partner to Kourtney. Maybe he just realized that he was never getting off the Kardashian teat so why fight it? Either way, Kourtney isn’t spending too much time worrying about this right now, she is yachting around the coast of Italy with her kids and their grandmonster, Kris Jenner. Perhaps the trip will allow Kourt to clear her head or maybe her prescribed love potion will kick in. Whatever happens, we will have to wait until October 23rd when Keeping up with the Kardashians returns to find out.

I just about always thought that “bad Scott” was a story-line for the show.
I always thought that too. Like without that, what other storylines can they do for Kourtney? And has she done something to her face? She looks different.
Her cheeks? Yeah, it’s a reality TV show. Part reality and part TV. His villan role is the TV part.
She is an idiot and has low self esteem to give him another shot. I have never seen two people so disinterested and opposite of one another in a long time. Sad there are 3 children involved. What I don’t get and I have seen this a few times before with non celebs, why have children with someone you have nothing in common with or even can’t stand?
Without being together, there is no storyline for KUWTK for either of them. They need this to stay relevant.
She is so gross to me now because of all this. She acts so above it, but if she was, she would have shaken that douche years ago. Lie down with dogs and you’re gonna get fleas. She obvs loves the fleas. No sympathy.
I think they’ve always been good friends and just off again on again lovers. Kourtney has some wariness about relationships, not surprising considering her mother. They do have more than just three kids together and I hope things settle down for them. The cameras just have to go before they can really work things out, though. With all their problems, theirs is the healthiest relationship in the whole family. Definitely Scott needs to deal with his alcohol and other drug issues, but Kourtney has a lot to work on also. The show is toxic for them.
Okay the horror
Kourtney is my favourite Kardashian. I like how she is as a mum. There is a no nonsense side to her in some regards that I think is underplayed and she can and does call the Klan to their senses.
I think she fell in love with an immature man who had/has problems with depression and addictions co morbid with the unexpected death of his parents. I think he also took a really long time to settle into being responsible for others when he wasn’t quite sure he could look after himself. He was out to sea with no anchor.
They seem like 1001 other young couples in that regard.
Kourtney seemed to also be suffering from some sort of depressive disorder at one point and she and Scott could not continue as they were.
I think that they have been excellent role models of seperately existing but co parenting effectively. I hope it has given them some space to get better
I think she gets a bad rap too – that she looks cold and mean to him. People on the outside don’t see what happens behind closed doors. People often think I pick on my hubby and feel sorry for him but the face he shows them is different to how he acts (sometimes) at home. Its hard to let go of those resentful feelings when you’ve been hurt more than a few times.
