Before we grease up our pitchforks – firstly this is alleged. Secondly there isn’t enough detail as to why the police where there.
Could it be that something similar happened to Mike Tyson’s poor daughter happened, and the police arrested her as a precaution that it was something more sinister? Different states, different police forces and different ways of dealing. Such accidental deaths are terrifyingly common. For goodness sake, parents had been convicted of murder over multiple cot deaths in the past.

Mairead, Although your advice not to rush to judgment is admirable, I don’t believe the police arrest anyone as a “precaution.” They’d have to have real reason to arrest her, or they could be up on charges of false arrest. I don’t know the facts either, so I guess we’ll have to wait until it all comes out. If this is true, it’s good that the police found out about it before the boy was seriously injured or killed. This way, he can be rescued, especially since his dad is famous. Sorry, but child protection services are notoriously not on the ball when it comes to many cases of horrendous abuse/murder. Either they have “known” about the family for years or were supposedly “monitoring” the situation, which means faked/non-existent checks on the child in the home.

Update this child is 2 yrs old, not jon cryers child and the HUSBAND called the police on the wife for child abuse. Doesnt look good for her.
