In July’s Interview Magazine, both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are interviewed – separately. Kristen’s interview was a lot longer, and more boring. But R-Pattz’s little mini-interview is so cute! He talks about how he was a child model when he 12 years old to the age of 15, when he “stopped looking like a girl”. Cough cough stopped? cough. No, I joke because I love. They also asked him about people saying he’s the next Jude Law. That’s something I had never heard, but I find it fits. When Jude first broke out, it wasn’t quite like the Twi-hard drama, but Jude was still the prettiest man ever. And Jude had a really devoted fanbase – myself included. Let’s say a little prayer that R-Pattz doesn’t end up bangin’ the nanny ten years from now. I shall go light a candle!
Alert the tabloids: Harry Potter actor linked to drug house! Twenty-two-year-old Robert Pattinson fondly recalls his time living in a “cool little ex-crack den” in London with best friend Tom Sturridge.
He’s joking (we think) about their bad behavior as struggling young actors. “We spent the -better part of a year just getting drunk every night,” Pattinson admits. “I don’t know if that counts as ‘struggling.'”
After the debauchery ended, Pattinson co-starred as Cedric Diggory in two Harry Potter movies. A former child model-he posed professionally from ages 12 to 15 (“when I stopped looking like a girl”)-Pattinson has been dubbed “the next Jude Law” in the British press.
“I don’t really see the similarity,” he says.
One opportunity to break out comes via next year’s Little Ashes, a Spanish drama in which Pattinson stars as the young Salvador Dalí. But first, there’s the vampire thriller Twilight, based on the popular teen books, in which Pattinson plays Edward, a 108-year-old bloodsucker in love with a high school girl.
Horror fans are already stalking him. “It’s funny,” Pattinson says, “because teenage girls would say, ‘Oh, my God, you’re Cedric!’ It switched in a week to ‘Oh, my God, it’s Edward!’ Allegiances change so freely in the teen-girl world.”

In other R-Pattz news, this week’s Life & Style cover is devoted to Rattz and Stewart, with a cover photo that is nearly exactly like OK!’s cover, except OK’s cover had flipped the two actors as they pretended to kiss at the MTV Movie Awards. Unlike OK!, Life & Style isn’t claiming some big romance between the two actors, the tabloid just claims to give “behind the scenes” info on New Moon. Yawn. More romance!

I’ve never read Twilight or seen the film (even the idea makes me gag, honestly), but this guy is growing on me. It’s all about these interviews, I think…
I’ve learned to like Robert when I watched an interview on Entertainment Weekley, I had no idea that he was in Twilight. He gave the impression of a very funny, intelligent and humble person. He also seemed to consider these Twilight films as nothing but a job and not his personal taste.

I hope Pattison studies Jude Law’s history since he became a known name, along with Law’s waning popularity timelined with his actions. Pattison is still young enough to make plenty of youthful mistakes, which combined with a diva-attitude from fame can really turn fans off.
Pattison was so gorgeous in HP, I wished I had a daughter to set him up with. But he looked revolting after the beginning of Twilight’s PR time. Thankfully he started washing his hair, and it’s a bit more trimmed than before.
I was just thinking the other day that there was a little similarity between the two. They are both very pretty boys. 🙂

I kinda see the similarity. I think Rob is attractive, but he had to grow on me and from some angles, he’s still kinda blah. Jude was always hot!!! And Jude was a much better actor when he was younger than Rob is now. Just my opinion. . .

I have met Jude Law and sorry ladies he is not good looking in real life, i was so dissappointed I didnt even ask for an autograph. I almost walked into Ralph Fiennes around Maryleborn and he has charisma and damn sex. Jude Law is really an ordinary looking London guy,there are 100s of men that look like him in London its amazing what studio make-up can do. However, Robert is absolutely hawt!!! ps: Jude is also going bald
Agreed. I think Jude is a much better actor, but Rob is definitely growing on me. At least I don’t feel like a pedophile when I think about how hot he is, unlike frickin Taylor.
There’s no way this guy will reach Jude Law (sexiest man alive by People magazine in 2004 and my future husband haha). Jude Law is actually a great actor, he’s just had personal issues hurt him image. Pattison is good looking and charming and a decent actor at best, but he is no Jude Law.
Jude Law’s personal issues are nobody’s business and should have never been made anybody’s business in the first place. So to keep faulting him for it is absolute nonsense. If he and a nanny or a waitress or a stripper (a la George Clooney), who, by the way, are people and have names, want to bang each other, it’s nobody elses business. It’s not his fault his “personal problems” (that, by the way, everyone has) were talked about in public. So get off it already, it’s time! He’s so much more than something that happened 4 years ago. FOUR YEARS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!! And it wasn’t that big of a deal. Jude Law is an excellent actor and has just blown ’em away as Hamlet. Oh, and to the person up there that says she met him and he’s not good looking, I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word you’re saying. At all.

Besides, a good bath and one is clean and fresh…how exactly do you wash off being a serial cheater? Anyway, in my books serial cheater = sex addictions = deep seated psychological problems. Yeah, I think I’d stick to a man who maybe isn’t so concerned about personal hygeine rather than go through serial cheater hell and risk of STD’s. What nonsense. Rob’s usual look is sleazy and unkempt – not to mention drunk and/or ‘otherwise impaired.’ Jude is handsome, talented, classy, and fortunately always looks (and no doubt smells) CLEAN. Not a good comparison at all imo.
