Kelly Osbourne got shock orange color hair: better than the purple?

Welcome to the new ME!!!!!! 🔥

Kelly Osbourne must have felt left out on VMAs night. I’m trying to figure out the last time she attended and that was 2in 015 I believe. I doubt she got invited this year. Also, Kelly’s brother Jack and his wife, Lisa, just announced that they’re expecting a third child, so Kelly likely needed some attention. Here she is premiering her very bright orange hair. You can compare this photo and video (below) to the picture of her hair shaved on the sides a couple of weeks ago. Of course it’s possible that her hair has grown, but given the timeline I think the bright color is just making it look like she has more hair on the sides. That’s about the only good thing I can say about this.

Kelly before (the top was like a lilac stripe and there are more pics below):

I’m not one of those people who thinks funky hair color has an age limit and should only be worn by younger women (I mean Kelly is 32 so that’s younger to me.) I’ve seen older women rocking purple hair or bright red hair, especially in Europe, and usually they do it well. Kelly’s mom, Sharon, looks good in very dark red, but that’s not shock orange, it’s a darker color. Maybe Kelly should talk to her mom about how to possibly fix this. She doesn’t care though, she loves it because it make people stare and talk about her.

Also I just remembered, Kelly was sued by her former colorist, a woman who had an affair with Kelly’s dad, Ozzy. Kelly tweeted the colorist’s phone number with a juvenile “for a good time” message and then refused to remove it when asked. She settled with the woman last fall but the damage was done and she had to break up with her colorist. So she obviously found a new one who is obviously a) incompetent b) sycophantic or c) both. I know my colorist would talk me out of this or try to counsel me to figure out if I just went through a breakup or was otherwise having personal problems. Obviously you have to know your clients and Kelly is a risk-taker but a good hairdresser would talk her into a compromise at least. Oh well, I guess I should be happy that she looks as ridiculous as she is.

Let’s enjoy this video of Kelly’s fluffy dog eating a puppachino from Starbucks. I didn’t know this was a thing but I have taken my mom’s dog for a pup cup at the local ice cream shop. It’s adorable watching how excited they get. I imagine Polly would look much more into this if the video was in normal speed.

I have never seen anything cuter than #Polly eating a #pupachino from #Starbucks! 😍

I don’t hate it. That first picture is odd and fuzzy, but i bet it looks good on her. She is so pale that she can tailor her makeup to any colour. I liked the Lilac too. Not so sure about liking her…..but the hair colour is fun

    • imqrious2 says:

In the one with her mouth open, she looks *so much* like her mom… jus’ sayin’….😬
Also, Orange is as Orange does… cough *Drumpf* cough

  2. KBeth says:

    Okay?

  3. manda says:

I like it! I think it suits her, she can do crazy stuff with her hair.

  4. Beth says:

Definitely time for her to stop and just have a natural, normal hair color

    • C says:

Sounds boring, Beth *flips pink hair*

Not a fan of Kelly but a fan of letting people doing whatever they want with their bodies (including hair)

      • Electric Tuba says:

Same. Loving the 5th Element Multipass vibe the color has.

      • Sojaschnitzel says:

This, sister. There is no such thing as “time to stop being yourself” – whatever that may mean individually.

    • AnnaKist says:

Ow. I wish I could do such fun stuff, but I just don’t have the “look”, and my hair is shite. I love this new colour on her.

  5. minx says:

Can’t stand this talentless grifter, no matter what her hair color.

  6. LAK says:

I’ve always loved her grey/lilac/ lavender hair colour. It really suits her colouring.

The bright orange is high maintenance, but if it makes her happy, mazel tov!

    • Sojaschnitzel says:

I really loved the lavender aswell. I wish I could bleach my hair enough to make that happen on my own little head, but alas, years of putting black colour on it allow me a bright orange at best. Not in the good way. Hers is orange in a good way though. I like it.

  7. Allie B. says:

I don’t think it suits her. There are women in the WWE doing it better.

  8. Lightpurple says:

Why is she still a thing?

  9. Skylark says:

She looks really like her equally awful mother in that top pic.

    • fubar says:

I thought the same thing when I first saw the pic. Wow! she really looks like her mum. I love the lilac hair color. She is lucky to have the coloring to wear any color and look lovely. I would look like a fool.

  10. Chaine says:

well. Not getting any work in the entertainment industry any more, at least she is all set to stand in for a traffic cone.

  11. LokiGal says:

she reminds me of those troll dolls with that hair

  12. Green Is Good says:

Her greatest achievement in life is her hair color. Such “talent”.

  13. HelloSunshine says:

I have no words for her because she’s not worth it but omg Jack’s kids are so cute! He seems so grounded and it seems like he and his wife are really happy and good for each other and are great parents 🙂

    • Molly says:

Right? Jack could have gone completely off the rails after some rough teen years, so good for him for turning things around. Both he and his wife appear to be super involved and happy as parents and a couple.

  14. Bridget says:

Well, here we are talking about her.

  15. Stella says:

    The dog is everything.

  16. detritus says:

Like the hair, still hate her =D

  17. NeoCleo says:

I think it looks good on her. I imagine that it will fade really quickly as do all shades of red and most of the other in vogue colors but while it is still bright it is cute.

  18. Danielle says:

Thinking that someone only does crazy hair colors to get attention, is frankly nonsensical. Obviously there is more to it, like being a creative person and wanting your outer appearance to express that, or refusing to fit into society’s tiny box of what is acceptable. She’s not doing orange hair to get your approval or to get you to think she looks good. Telling her she looks bad with orange hair and needs to change it is the same as a man thinking he has the right to tell a woman that he thinks she’d look better if she would just change her appearance. Everyone has the right to appear however they want and sometimes people have no interest in subscribing to what society deems beautiful.

  19. KiddVicious says:

I’m not a fan of bright orange, but this looks good on her. I like it better than her gray/purple.

  20. themummy says:

I actually love it on her.

  21. wolfie88 says:

first thing that comes to mind?
    “Leeloo Dallas Multi-Pass”

  22. NewHere says:

Does anyone here know Pumuckl? With her new hair color, Kelly kind of looks like him …

  23. raincoaster says:

I’ve had fancy coloured hair for years now, but something I’ve noticed in the east which is NOT the case in the west: most un-naturally coloured hair out here is definitely a class marker, People Of Walmart class. I was kind of horrified, since it costs me over $200 to get my colour done in a salon. But the pastel, smoky colours like Kelly had and I have aren’t as aggressively associated with People Of Walmart as the bright strong colours like she has now and every 18 year old who spent ten bucks on Manic Panic has now.

Pastels are also much more flattering to most skin tones, and you don’t need as much makeup. With really strongly coloured hair, you need a lot of makeup or you look washed out.
