Duchess Kate went into labor this morning in London, on St. George’s Day

William Kate Coventry

It’s St. George’s Day in Great Britain, which means that the Duchess of Cambridge is in labor with her third baby right at we speak!! There were SO many bets that Kate would give birth on the Queen’s birthday, Saturday the 21st. But it didn’t happen. Nor did it happen on Sunday. But today is St. George’s Day. Good timing, Kate.

If this labor and delivery is anything like Princess Charlotte’s birth, that means Kate will have a pretty easy time of it and we should get an announcement in a matter of three or four hours. I’m still saying it will be a boy… I just got that vibe rather suddenly last week, but God knows – my witchy prediction mojo can go back and forth sometimes. Good luck to Kate and William! And good luck to Charlotte and George with the new baby sister/brother.

Hope she has a smooth and easy labor and delivery! So excited!

  2. LizB says:

I would bet the baby is already here. She was admitted by 6am local time and Charlotte arrived after less than 3 hours…

Wishing all the best for Kate and baby!

  3. F says:

    I’m think it’s going to be a boy so I bet it’s a girl.

    • Becks says:

I’m the same lol. Babies are always the opposite of what I think it’s going to be. I think this will be a boy.

      So….Alice?

      • Ankhel says:

Good one. Mary? Those two like their babies a bit 18th century.

      • Lindy79 says:

I hope not Alice, that’s my 2 year old daughter’s name and I don’t want an influx haha

      • Léna says:

@Lindy79 haha I understand the feeling. My mom gave birth a few months before a famous french singer adopted a little girl and named her the same way. Since then, the name Jade is (too) popular in France. And people always ask my mom “Is it because you’re a fan of him?” Ugh.

  4. Chrissyms says:

I am excited! I agree Baby could already be born. I say girl. Victoria or Mary

    • MostlyMegan says:

It won’t be Victoria – too much like Beckham. lol. I think it’s a boy and it will be Fredrick. Little Freddy, Charlotte and George. Perfect.

  5. BooRadley says:

Exciting!!! They make adorable kids. I hope she has a smooth delivery and if it’s a girl they name her after the QE.

    • Michelle says:

Charlotte is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana and I doubt they would repeat.

      • Beth says:

My sister and I have the same middle name as each other. Nothing wrong or confusing about it. It was our grandmothers name like Charlottes was. A family name that a few cousins have too

  6. LittleWing says:

    Finally!

  7. Michelle says:

People have been saying 23rd for a while now, so not surprised. I am predicting a boy: Arthur Philip Michael (Alice Margaret Ellen if is a girl).

  8. Spicecake38 says:

If she’s in labor now 6:36 am in Eastern time USA then baby in like 3-4 hours, and standing on steps smiling and waving say ,by around 3:00 this afternoon?I have been certain this is a girl the entire pregnancy, but now I’m leaning towards boy.Kate does pregnancy and birth as well as anyone I’ve seen.Hope she and baby have an easy time and baby is healthy and well.PUSH KATE PUSH😫

  9. OSTONE says:

Good luck and congratulations to the Cambridge family!

  10. Nicole says:

Hoping she has an easy delivery and a healthy baby. But geez her body is so dead on with timing.

  11. alittlesugar says:

OMG it’s finally happening! I think it’s likely well get an announcement within a few hours (say by between 1-3am UK time?). Then they’ll be likely to leave hospital after 5 or 6 in the evening, as that’s when they left the last 2 times.
And is it likely we’ll see George and Charlotte come to the hospital to visit? We haven’t seen them in months, so it would be the icing on the cake if William leaves hospital to pick them up from KP!!

  12. klutzy_girl says:

I woke up around 3 this morning because my dad was leaving for work and made the mistake of checking my phone. I knew it was going to be today (after getting it wrong three other times but still)!

Still going with girl and her name will be Alice or Victoria.

  13. Seraphina says:

A speedy and safe delivery to mommy and a healthy baby. And on St. George’s Day no less. Very good timing this baby does has.

  14. Shotcaller says:

Fond memories of little George being sooyjed by his father outside with the paps. Safe and speedy delivery. Betting on a boy.

  15. Anna nuttall says:

A little off topic but that pink fuscia coat doesn’t suit Kate at all. Too bright and doesn’t complement her. However, love the navy miltary button jacket, I feel that really suit her. xx

  16. Wowsers says:

I think a girl, Anna. Good luck Kate!!

  17. AmandaPanda says:

Awww. My baby was born at the Lindo – this is making me sentimental for those early days. Good luck Kate!

  18. minx says:

This is always exciting. Hope everything goes well.

  19. happy girl says:

So excited. Wishing the Duchess a peaceful, easy delivery of baby Cambridge. xo

  20. ally.m says:

    A Prince!

  21. Ce2495 says:

Congrats to her! She had rather a quick labor. It is confirmed she had a boy!

  22. LizB says:

    It’s a BOY!

  23. Slacker says:

And it’s a boy! You were right

  24. KeWest says:

Now that we know it’s a boy I think they will name him Philip Michael.

    • Cee says:

That would be a lovely tribute to Michael Middleton and Prince Philip, especially since Charlotte shares the name Elizabeth with her maternal grandmother and TQ.

  25. Nicole says:

A boy! Charlotte is officially going to be ruling that roost. Lol

  26. Cee says:

It’s a boy! Your predictions are still on point!

  27. Monique Barrow says:

We was right its a boy I bet his name will be Jack
