Anna Kournikova gets in a cat fight at a Vegas bar

The other day I was randomly wondering to myself, “Is Anna Kournikova still around?” She was moderately famous for a while because she could kind of hit a ball with a racket and dating and maybe marrying Enrique Iglesias. But really she was famous for being incredibly hot – and you don’t hear a lot about her anymore. Which doesn’t mean she’s above some petty Las Vegas drama.

ANNA Kournikova got into a fight Saturday night in Las Vegas after an unidentified woman threw a drink at the tennis ace. Kournikova and her pals were partying at Lavo after attending the Hardbat Classic table tennis tournament when a woman at the next table “threw a drink at Anna. She felt Anna was invading her space,” our source said. Kournikova “sprung into action” and starting screaming at the woman and shoving her. “It was a big fight,” the spy said. The woman was kicked out only after leaving Kournikova with some vicious scratch marks on her neck. Kournikova’s rep didn’t return calls.

[From Page Six]

It’s not really possible to tell from Page Six’s accounting whether Anna was at all at fault for the incident. A random stranger at another table feeling Anna was “invading her space” makes it sound like the other woman was a whackjob. Now for all we know Kournikova was shoving herself within an inch of the woman – but without elaboration, it just makes the other lady sound crazy. Kournikova springing into action makes it sound like maybe she was doing something obnoxious on purpose, since it seems like she was poised and waiting for a fight.

Joke about her as I do, I still would choose to kick just about anyone else’s ass before Anna Kournikova’s. She’s in great shape and has strong arms – I’m sure she could do some damage if she wanted.

Please JayBird if you can’t take on Anna…
she was at at ping pong tourney. She has no definition left in her arms. Don’t mistake thin for fit.
Be afraid of a Williams sister – that I can see – but a pin-up. hhmpf

Lol @ the little girl drama.

Didn’t like Anna much when she was an active player on the tennis circuit, but I thought she had matured since settling so long with Iglesias. Guess not.

yeah, an appearance at a “table tennis” (read: ping pong) tournament?

she’s fallen a bit, eh? but she was never known for her tennis abilities (never won a Grand Slam tournament), more for her looks and yes, being with Iglesias.

and I’m with Lem…her arms have NO definition whatsoever. Thin, yes…but muscular? not even. yes, be afraid of a Williams sister, but not this wet noodle.

Eeek …I’m getting older. What year was it I saw Anna at La Costa? She was a powerhouse but Lindsey, Sabrina and Venus were stronger. I thought she’d evoled to media/commercials.

Who is crazy enough to fight with a powerhouse with strong arms?

(And she had all those guys in the stands cheering every move)

    Damn Ladies!
Y’all got some balls criticising this chick! I wish my arms were as “undefined” as hers. Anna’s living the life man!!!
