Actor Keegan-Michael Key and producer Elisa Pugliese married in New York over the weekend. The ceremony was intimate and took place in the couple’s home. People has the exclusive photos, you can see them here. There is a lovely shot of the couple with Key’s comedy partner, Jordan Peele. The groom wore a beautiful blue Paul Smith suit and the bride wore a classic cocktail length cream Prada with light embroidery and carried a stunning bouquet of magenta orchids.

The actor, 47, married Hollywood producer and director Elisa Pugliese in a small, intimate ceremony surrounded by their friends and family at their home in New York City on Friday, PEOPLE has confirmed exclusively.
Pugliese wore a Prada gown while Key chose a suit by Paul Smith. The bride carried a bouquet of orchids designed by Elan Flowers.
The couple, who were engaged in November 2017, are planning to celebrate their nuptials with a reception in N.Y.C. on Saturday.
Prior to their wedding, the Friends from College star dished details of their intimate affair — and why they choose the specific location — exclusively to Us Weekly.
“So I’m getting married in nine days in my home. My fiancée is the most wonderful and passionate and sensible woman at the same time,” he told Us on May 29. “Why would we get married in any place else if we love our home? Let’s have a reception upstairs and then we’re having a party the next day. A big party. So very intimate wedding, very big party.”
I haven’t heard much about the couple. Key was married for 17 years to Cynthia Blaise before they divorced in 2015. As far as I can make out, Pugliese has never been married before and neither has any children. According to ET, the two are business partners in addition to life partners. Key said last year that they try to keep the two worlds separate when they can, “We find time to take definitive moments that are personal to us that have nothing to do with work. But we enjoy work so much.”
The only thing I can really tell through these articles, tweets and photos is that they’re pretty nutty for each other. Every comment he’s made about her is positively giddy and that’s kind of a breath of fresh air in these cynical times. And, looking at his wife’s own social media, the feeling is mutual. Congratulations to these twp, may they have many, happy years together.

Good for them, I guess. Dunno… he’s still kinda shady considering the rumours surrounding his first marriage’s break up. The caption also seems (to me) quite insulting to his first wife, as if none of the 17 years came close.
I agree , He can gush over his new romance without making the last 20 yrs of his life seem obsolete Plus there was clearly some overlap between the new bride and the first wife .He literally announced their engagement days after the divorce was finalized. The first wife was also apparently someone who helped support him in the early days before he made it big
Anyhoo , he cant really be accused of upgrading to a younger hotter model as his first wife though over 10 years older looks much better than this wife

Divorce is a legal action and can take YEARS to finalize. Judging people for this is not logical. We have to accept that it’s impossible to gauge the overlap without being party to either relationship.

You are correct on both counts , divorces can take YEARS to finalize however this particular one took roughly 2 yrs (2015-2017) sooh not that long
Also you are correct that I am not party personally to either relationship however since there is on record pics of the two dating a week or two after he filed from divorce( whilst he was still legally married BTW ) it is not unreasonable to believe that there was likely some overlap between the first and 2nd wife (that plus the manner in which that marriage ended).Its not like those things neveeer happen.
I don’t know, if your previous marriage didn’t end because your spouse died, I think it’s pretty normal to think of your wedding day with your current partner as the best day of your life. I had some great times with my ex, but hands down I’d choose a mediocre day with my current partner over the best day with my ex.
I might agree with you if he and his first wife had kids. In that case, I think his comment could be hurtful to them. Since they didn’t, I think he gets to shout his happiness from the rooftops. I don’t know how/why his first marriage ended and none of us know the inner-workings of that marriage, so to judge him for being happy seems a little unfair.

There was a pretty big age gap – 15 years or so with his ex wife so that could have had something to do with the divorce.

Yes, big age difference. I read the divorce was very contentious; she alleged the stress of it, plus the decline of the marriage, practically ruined her health. She got a bundle out him. But, anyway, “Congrats to the newlyweds”.

I know someone in the “biz” and she told me KMK has a mommy thing going on. She’s met and interviewed him many times. His first wife, Cindy, was 13 years older and was clearly in charge. His production company was named Cindylou Productions or something similar. That clearly shows a bit of imbalance. He used to gush over Cindy and always referred to her as “my bride,” even after many years together. I used to think it was sweet. Now, however, he’s “blissfully” happy with this homewrecker. His constant choice of superlatives with each woman leaves me cold. My friend told me KMK tends to attach himself to insecure mommy types. My friend also said his new wife fits that description perfectly. She’s listed on social media as a director or producer, but has maybe one or two credits to her name. She’s close in age to KMK, so that’s a point in his favor. He comes across as sanctimonious and fake in every interview I’ve seen him give. I used to be a big fan, but the whole situation has turned me off, and I see him so differently now. I’m a huge Peele fan though. The guy’s sincere and a huge talent.

Oh, I forgot to mention that KMK had an affair with his new wife while he was married to his first. Look at old pics of him with his first wife. They look exactly like the ones with his new wife. He looks so happy to be with her, just like he does now. He’s all sorts of skeezy, and the new wife has found a solid way into Hollywood. She’s a failed actress and through MKM will make a name for herself. A producer and a director … puhleeze. He’ll get her jobs though. My friend rocks with the inside Hollywood info.
