Before Elsa Pataky met Chris Hemsworth, she was known as the Spanish model/actress who dated Adrien Brody for several years. That’s mostly how I knew her, pre-Hemsworth: Adrien Brody was obsessed with her, and he bought her a castle. Elsa and Adrien’s relationship started in 2006, and ended at some point in 2009. I’m not 100% sure of the timeline for Elsa’s relationship with Chris Hemsworth, but I feel pretty certain that there was no real overlap. Both Adrien and Elsa moved on – Adrien started up with Lara Lieto at some point, although I don’t know if they’re still together (but they were together or have been together for years). Elsa obviously moved on with Hemsworth, and they have three children together. So do you think Chris Hemsworth ever gets a little bit jealous about Adrien Brody, who loved Elsa so much that he bought her a castle?
A source tells Star that Chris Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky is reading for a role opposite her ex, Adrien Brody.
“Chris was so excited for Elsa until she told him who producers wanted to cast,” chuckles a source close to Hemsworth. Before marrying Chris, Elsa dated Adrien for three years, and there were even rumors the odd couple got engaged before calling it quits in 2009.
“The first time I saw her, I was completely spellbound,” Brody admitted at the time. Brody also purchased a castle for Pataky for her birthday!
“Chris knows it was a long time ago,” insists Star’s insider. “But that doesn’t mean he can’t get a little jealous from time to time.”

Do you think that Elsa Pataky and Adrien Brody would be auditioning for the same film, or that producers are like “you know who we need for these roles? Pataky and Brody!”? No. I do not believe it. Sadly, I don’t believe it because Adrien Brody is not any producer or director’s dream-cast at this point. I looked up his IMDB – he had a gig on Peaky Blinders last year? But he doesn’t seem to be working all that much. As for Elsa… well, there were a lot of reasons why Chris Hemsworth moved his family back to Australia, and one of those reasons was so that he wouldn’t have to keep pulling strings to get his wife work, just my opinion. Still, any excuse to look at old photos of Elsa and Adrien…

Adrien Brody was cancelled in my book when he became a Woody ally. She was always out of his league, I wondered how they ever got together. He must be incredibly charming. The best he ever looked was in Predators, but he had to beef up seriously for that. Not a fan of tall, lanky guys, but that’s just me. I know a lot of people on here despise EP but I like her. She’s changed her looks several times over the years and always looks fabulous. I think it’s easy to get a little nervous when your SO is working with an ex, but he’s THOR for crying out loud!
Also, why is Adrian touching her stomach in that last pic? That is not a normal thing to do with a woman unless she’s prego AND totally cool with it. **I had a “hands off” policy when I was pg with my daughter years ago.
That last photo struck me as odd, too, mostly because she seems to be cringing hard in it. As for him touching her stomach, I’ve noticed in this age of endless photos on social media, that putting a hand on someone’s stomach seems to be a go-to pose. A twist on putting your arm around someone’s back, it seems. I agree that it doesn’t seem normal but I do see it a lot.
I’m no Brody fan, but I do feel a bit sorry for him when it comes to her. I think she broke his heart into tiny little pieces and stomped all over him.
Huh, wow, I never realized how much work she’d had done in the last few years until now. Deeply jealous? I doubt it. But most people aren’t overtly comfortable with their partners being around their exes.

I think it’s stunning after all the plastic surgeries that Elsa had done, she looks an average pretty. As someone said before, she resembles a cross between Madonna and Tatum O’Neil. Elsa is not popular in Spain, the United States or Australia, so don’t be sorry.
I agree with Kaiser that the Brody / Pataky pairing is not a producer / director dream team. I wonder did Elsa leak this story because word has gotten out that Chris is a serial cheater and secondly to create buzz because of her netflix role. The Netflix part is the latest project that Chris paid to get her hired and paid her salary. Coincidentally, when Elsa was making Give ’em Hell Malone with Thomas Jane, no one knew that she was in the film until miraculously a rumor appeared in the press that Thomas Jane was having an affair with the leading lady of the film. Guess who the leading lady was? But we must remember that Elsa mother is a publicist!

Hemsworth just cancelled a con appearance at the last minute and claimed it was because he was shooting Men in Black. But MiB hasn’t even started yet, and Elsa Instagrammed a pic of them spending the weekend hanging out camping and fishing the same weekend as the con. It’s the second fan even this year that Hemsworth has bailed out on last minute and with dodgy excuses.

Anyway this is the first time I’m hearing about the cheating allegations surrounding Hemsworth.
He’s famous, rich, and handsome (and I bet has many beautiful women/ groupies throwing themselves at him) so…….I should not be surprised.
