Sarah Huckabee Sanders got thrown out of a local Virginia restaurant, lol

Sarah Sanders daily briefing and general views of a White House sink hole

CB and I both live (separately) in Virginia. I’m quite happy in my little part of Virginia, even though there seems to be an equal split between Trump/Pence/Confederate flag bumper stickers versus Coexist/Clinton/Kaine bumper stickers. But the one awfulthing about Virginia is that sometimes Nazis pop up. They drive down from Washington DC and they try to eat at our local establishments. And many local businesses don’t want to serve Nazis. That’s what happened when Sarah Huckabee Sanders, she of the White House press secretary job and the smokey eye made of lies, did this weekend. She traveled to Lexington to have dinner at the Red Hen. They didn’t want to serve her:

LOL. And all of the Deplorables are like “this is why true Christians shouldn’t be forced to make wedding cakes for gay folks!!” For the record, “white Nazi a–holes” are not a protected class and it’s not discrimination. It’s a local business deciding that they don’t want to do business with Nazis. We got a tip on Saturday that Sanders was still in Lexington that morning too. I hope all of the businesses in that area refused her, but I doubt that happened. Anyway, later on Saturday, Sarah tweeted this from her GOVERNMENT Twitter account:

Sarah Sanders is a government employee – a civil servant – who went to a restaurant in her downtime and was turned away because of her job, which is to act as a mouthpiece for a fascist administration. She then got butthurt and used her government Twitter account to whine about how it “says far more about” the person who 86’d her than it does about her. Actually, bitch, it says more about YOU.

Incidentally, Sanders hasn’t given an on-camera briefing since Monday. She’s been in the f–king wind while journalists were trying to get answers about the more than 3000 children and babies stolen from immigrants. The White House and the administration couldn’t keep their lies straight and neither could Sanders, because guess what? She’s always been a lying Nazi a–hole and there are consequences for all of this.

  1. KNy says:

    Nazis not welcome, muthaf*cka.

    • Bella DuPont says:

Well, the next order of business has to be for liberals to flood that restaurant, because predictably, the Nazis have already started arranging a boycott, which was what Nurse Ratched was hoping for with her tweet.

      • Snowflake says:

        Exactly

      • KNy says:

Just looked up how Lexington voted in 2016 and it was 61.8% for HRC, 31.3% for trump. I can only guess that that gap has widened. Hopefully the Red Hen has enough support. *fingers crossed*

      • Athyrmose says:

And she had the nerve to use her ‘official’ twitter account to create her call to action.

      • Christin says:

The owner mentioned that the small town (7,000 pop.) voted Dem (college town), while the county overall went Repub. So they do have a mix around them.

Other little trivia — The town is a four-hour drive from DC.

      • Busyann says:

I’m in DC and had already made my weekend plans by the time this news came out. Those plans couldn’t be changed, but I have family in town and we are already planning to have dinner there next weekend. Anyone in the area that can support this restaurant should.

      • Holly hobby says:

What she did is a serious ethics violation. Govt employees are prohibited from using the office for personal gain. In this instance she’s using her position to tank a restaurant.

Every business should shun these evil people. They should learn how to cook and stay at home.

    • Dazeem, Adele says:

      Christin: more like three. 🙂

    • kate says:

And she misused her ‘official’ twitter account to air her private grievance.

      • Nic919 says:

If laws mattered she would be reprimanded for using government property to make that tweet, but it is anarchy in DC with orange anus at the top.

      • lightpurple says:

I contacted both my senators and my representative. She BROKE federal ethics laws using that account for this. She also may have broken additional laws if she used her government-issued phone or a computer. I called and left a message at Ryan’s office too. Most government employees are trained that you NEVER do something like this and should expect serious reprimands if you do. She should be fired. She won’t be, but she should be.

    • Luna says:

How creative to have Nazis being the powerless polite people (so unlike the actual Nazis of krystalnacht and on down the road. ..the big powerful universities and hospitals and kitschy little “biergarten” that ejected the dirty Juden that soiled the polyester ruffles and degraded science and learning.). Look. Who is dictating what constitutes a deserving guest? Who is making non-negotiable demands? Who is the smug dictator in this little slice of the fatherland? Who was sneering? You?

    • NeoCleo says:

Agreed that what Huckabee-Sanders did with her govt Twitter account was an ethics violation. But given that this current administration lacks a moral compass, it’s unlikely she’ll experience any kind of discipline. Especially since this particular lapse, in comparison to all the other heinous crap the GOP has pulled in the last 25 years, is almost quaint .

  2. Who Are These People? says:

To remember what these people are, I imagine the women with braids wrapped around their heads and dirndl skirts and the men in SS uniforms or Gestapo leather coats.

    • littlemissnaughty says:

Let’s not sh*t on the dirndl, the ONE garment that makes every woman no matter her shape or size look good. 😁 Just imagine them in BDM uniforms or something. Even if they’re too old.

      • HyacinthBucket says:

No it doesn‘t. The Dirndl does not make every woman look good. I‘m apple shaped with no boobs and no ass. Growing up in Bavaria I was always so jealous of those who could wear Dirndls. I definitely couldn‘t.

      • littlemissnaughty says:

*sigh* Fine. But I have yet to see a woman at Oktoberfest in a dirndl who doesn’t look good. Provided it isn’t one of those cheap ones tourists buy.

  3. BlueSky says:

I find it hilarious that she doesn’t see the irony in all this. They are pushing policies that makes it okay to open discriminate against gays, Muslims, anyone that doesn’t look like them. She is only getting treated the way Republicans treat everyone else.

    • Honey says:

I know. Plus, I doubt if the incident triggers some reflection on her part or even some empathy and compassion for others who have been in the same situation. It’s very fearful and stress inducing being a targeted minority.

      • lightpurple says:

It should trigger her resignation, she broke federal ethics laws with that tweet. But it won’t.

      • ImAlreadyGone says:

People who lack empathy and dignity don’t reflect. They’re proud of how disgusting they are. Her father is a prime example. These people need to be shunned out of existence. We need to win back the House (and I’d love it if Dems could take the Senate, too) and retake the states. Gerrymander the party of Nazis down into single districts and marginalize them out of existence. I don’t care about Nazis not having a voice. GTFO of this country.

    • minx says:

The owner was nicer than I would be. She asked SHS to come out onto a patio, she discussed it privately in a civilized way and SHS immediately said she would leave.

      • AnnaKist says:

And then Sanders just had to tweet about it, instead of keeping her [Nazi] trap shut. “Poor me! I was hard-done-by!” The irony. What a loser.

    • Susannah says:

If as a business owner, you can deny gay people services on religious grounds, then certainly, you can deny SHS on her perversion of Christianity. It’s an abomination of everything Jesus stood for or preached about, so that would offend my religious beliefs if I owned a restaurant and wouldn’t want her dining there either.

      • Laura says:

        Here here!! Well said.

      • Christin says:

I thought about “what would I do?” after reading the owner’s version of events. My number one concern would be having a repetitive liar in my small establishment. That’s a pretty clear cut violation of the Ten Commandments (bearing false witness) that would be hard to argue against.

      • Cintra.C says:

Oh yes! You expressed it wonderfully.

      • Liz version 700 says:

Well said Susannah! I have not one sympathize womp womp to give this woman. She offends me for supporting a president who locks up babies… I couldn’t serve her either.

    • Lydia says:

Those least likely to be discriminated against always get the most vocal when it happens to them. The type of people who say that minority groups shouldn’t complain about discrimination are specifically bad.

  4. Squirrelgirl says:

The right: yeah that cake maker has the right to be able to make a cake for whoever they want!!!!

Also the right: oh my god how could anyone ever throw someone out of their restaurant?? It’s so unconstitutional!!!

    • Jan90067 (aka Imqrious2) says:

They all have signs: “We reserve the right to refuse to serve anyone”…well, table’s turned Nazis…how’d you like it now?

    • ocjulia says:

      EXACTLY. Such hypocrisy.

    • Holly hobby says:

Yep businesses have a right not to serve someone. Being a nazi isn’t discrimination.

  5. Snappyfish says:

I find it curious that the same people upset by this are the EXACT same people who were fine w/a bakery not making a wedding cake. She is the mouthpiece for fascism. I would leave an establishment she was in

    • KNy says:

Me, too. We’ve passed the point of “agreeing to disagree.” These are bad people and should be treated as such.

    • Mia4s says:

Oh the people upset about this want us to know that they meant you could refuse service on the basis of “sincerely held beliefs” to gay people (*small voice* and maybe Brown and Black people) but not refuse them and their fascism! That’s just wrong and intolerant. Sigh…

Sarcasm firmly on, insert a million eye rolls here.

    • Elkie says:

Exodus 23:1 – “You shall not bear a false report; do not join your hand with a wicked man to be a malicious witness”.

The Amoral & Mendacious are not a protected class, so every God-fearing Christian has a 1A Freedom of Religion right not to serve her.

  6. Becks1 says:

There ARE consequences for all of this. They may not be what many of us would like to see (yet) – meaning removal from office, jail time, etc – but there are consequences.

Also I know she’s entitled to take vacations, but Lexington isn’t close to DC. Its a few hours away. Part of it feels off to me that we are in the midst of this Trump-created immigration crisis and she goes away for a break. MUST BE NICE.

    • Holly hobby says:

She has not been doing her job since the kiddie concentration camps came into the news. She can’t face the press

  7. Jenns says:

I really like how the owner stated that she asked the staff if they were comfortable with her being there and when they said they “no”, that’s when she decided to ask her to leave.

  8. Jan90067 (aka Imqrious2) says:

I went on Yelp and gave that restaurant a 5 star review. Wish I could’ve given many more.

Doesn’t that Nazi B!tch KNOW that using her *government* account to b!tch and moan her PERSONAL shizz is an ETHICS VIOLATION??? Gee… wonder where/who she learned *that* from…hmmm…Bueller? Bueller??

Meanwhile, her father, A CHRISTIAN PASTOR is tweeting a pic of Hispanic gang members like MSx13 and saying that THIS is Pelosi’s campaign committee. The rotten apple doesn’t fall far from the rotted to the core tree, that’s for sure.

I’m not a Christian, but even I know, Jesus preached love and acceptance, not hate, intolerance and bigotry.

    • KNy says:

These people aren’t Christian. They are racists.

      • Jan90067 (aka Imqrious2) says:

They “profess” to be…. I agree, they are NOT.

      • Jordan says:

These people pick and choose what parts of the Bible will fit their argument, to hell with everything else. Just as they pick and choose from what parts of the constitution to follow.

      • Holly hobby says:

        They are cafeteria Christians. Phonies

    • Bella DuPont says:

      @ Jan

Please definitely leave a review on yell, but DO NOT mention this incident in any way or Yell is obliged to remove it because they are aware that customers are leaving politically driven reviews.

So please just say some shit about how nice the food and service is, maybe even lightly criticize the curtains or something innocuous for believability.

But please do leave a 5 star rating as that’s what counts. ✌️✌️😘😘

    • fishface says:

What’s that old saying about how you get the face you deserve? For a young woman, she looks so bitter and twisted.

      • Giddy says:

Talk about resting bitch face. Hers is more resting witch face! Scary!

      • vvc says:

        She’s 35 apparently. Unbelievable.

      • Holly hobby says:

Her face is literally doing the Indiana Jones nazi melt. If you look at her pics when she was in her 20s and Before she third Reich, she was ok looking. Now she looks bad.

    • lightpurple says:

She broke federal law. She abused her government position to attack a private citizen and business and she used a government account and probably a government owned device to do so. That was the first thing that came to me yesterday morning when I saw her tweet that and I immediately contacted my representative & both my senators. It wasn’t until last night that journalists and others started picking up on the ethics violation. All government employees are trained that they cannot use their position for personal advantage and they cannot use government accounts, phones or computers for personal vendettas. Congress should demand her resignation.

      • Indiana Joanna says:

Thank God, you posted, LP. Yes she broke the law.

      • Jan90067 (aka imqrious2) says:

Maybe that will happen after Congress finds its b@lls. As of now, if they haven’t taken Dump to task for all of the ethics violations and impeachable offenses (high crimes AND misdemeanors), they’re not going to do sh!t about her.

And meanwhile, there hasn’t been a single press briefing in almost a week… crickets.

This is all diversion while the Orange Sh!tstain and his Turds plan to strip Soc. Sec., Medicare, and Medicaid in the coming weeks. AND dismantle/combine a lot of gov. services/offices to privatize them (to, you got it, go to his 1% crowd).

BTW: Did everyone hear (I got a news alert on my phone over the weekend): 81 of the children kidnapped at the border are being sent to an adoption orphanage owned by, big shocker, Betsy Devos’ family! WTF!!!!! THESE BABIES HAVE PARENTS WHO WANT THEM BACK!

        https://www.wzzm13.com/article/news/local/michigan/bethany-christian-services-providing-foster-homes-for-81-children-due-to-border-crisis/69-565745151

      • Abbess Tansy says:

I reported her tweet to Twitter yesterday, wrong for her to send out that tweet. Vindictive cow.

      • Nicegirl says:

Right there with you, LP. Contacted my reps, too demanding her firing/resignation. This shit is against federal law, hello mf ers!!!! This administration is so fricking corrupt.

      • Tiffany :) says:

Jan90067, that is enraging that these children are being sent to a facility owned by Betsy Devos’s family. OUTRAGEOUS! This administration is filled with grifters and cons. All of their policies are for personal enrichment.

      • Holly hobby says:

They are running a baby mill scam. Selling people’s babies for profit. I’m sure the girls are getting sent to orange nazis crony (forgot his name but allegedly he and the Nazi got I. Trouble for raping a teenager? Case was dismissed.).

        Something smells bad about this.

    • RedWeatherTiger says:

It should be clear by now that there are no ethics at all anywhere in this fascist regime, so to violate prior standards or rules means absolutely nothing.

      VOTE!!!!!
Also, #Restaurants4Sarah is trending on Twitter and well worth a look.

  9. It'sJustBlanche says:

I would have gladly served her but I’m pretty sure a few things would’ve ended up in her food. Also, can she take a good picture? Or does she really look like that?

    • Naptime says:

Wearing the face she earned. Ugly from inside out.

      • Josephine says:

I’ve been thinking that she looks like she’s melting. That job has to be aging her tremendously. I hate that women are judged by their looks before just about anything else, so I’m not talking about attractiveness. I’m talking about the fact that she literally looks like the job is killing her. All that evil and all of the lies has to be brutal on one’s body.

    • boy says:

I hate people like this. Don’t ever mess with people’s food no matter how angry you are or how bad they are. It’s just not right.

    • La says:

Someone posted on NPR’s coverage something to the effect of they shouldn’t have kicked her out. They should have brought her the wrong order and when she complained insisted it was the right order, talked over her, and asked other diners questions about her order instead. Lol.

    • Juliette says:

I hesitate to make comments about people’s appearances but in this case I totally agree. She is very unfortunate looking in every photo.

      • llc says:

I do as well as does my father, a traditional conservative in his 70’s. However, he has commented to me, twice, that she is “not an attractive lady.” He is much nicer than I am. From him, this translates to “she is extremely ugly.” She looks like her father. Weasels breed weasels.

  10. Indiana Joanna says:

It seems like such a small incident in the scheme of things, but like everyone in this WH she built it up as a human rights violation against her appalling ego (and babyfists’). So even though she said she was a kind person (another lie) she made sure the Fox and Breibart folks, as well as her blubbering nail chewing father, could take out their revenge on her behalf.

  11. Tootsie McJingle says:

I just got a kick out of the fact that she said she always tries to treat people respectfully. Apparently all the journalists she accosts daily are not people? Lying time after time day after day is not respectful? What a martyr!

    • Rapunzel says:

Dear Sarah “Such a B” Sanders,

You were not refused service because you work for Trump. You were refused service because you’re openly hostile to the press that you deal with. You were refused service because your administration puts kids in cages and then acts like it’s okay because they’re “illegal.” You were refused service because the administration you work for Is cutting welfare and Social Security and all sorts of social programs. You were refused service because the administration you work for would rather support North Korea then Canada. You were refused service because the administration you work for thinks the Bible should be the guiding principle for laws when that is against the constitution. And you were refused service because your administration uses that Bible to justify treating people of color like animals.

You were also refused service because you are a smoky eyed. feckless liar. Just thought you’d want to know the alternative facts.

      Sincerely,
the sane people of the United States of America

      • Jan90067 (aka imqrious2) says:

        Rapunzel… I love you!!! ^^^^^THIS, A MILLION TIMES OVER!^^^^^ 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

      • Bella DuPont says:

        Gigantic Mexican wave for Rapunzel………💃🏽💃🏽🎊🎊🍾🍾😘😘

  12. Skylark says:

On the contrary, if I lived in or visited the locality, I’d make a point of going there to support their stance. And I’m sure I’m not alone. Small steps can result in big change.

ETA. I see the post I was responding to has been asked to leave. Hee!

    • Indiana Joanna says:

Same about the post. I was going to respond that Nancy Pelosi never endorsed the M 13 gang, a vicious lie that drump and now Preacher Huck constantly delight in saying.

  13. agnes says:

    Womp womp!

  14. Bella DuPont says:

    @ Britt

Nowhere as low as her nazi pussy-grabbing, child caging, serial liar, sexual predator and all round heartless turd of a boss.

  15. Snowflake says:

I hate this bitch so much. Hopefully the owner doesn’t suffer too much for doing this.

  16. Alexandria says:

    Lemme play my tiny violin…

  17. Chloe says:

Yeah, they voted for a man who bragged about committing sexual assault. There is no moral high ground anymore, and we can’t get distracted from the message anymore.

  18. Everyone this is our power, our chance at making a difference with actions. In your everyday life, please stand up for others when you see wrong! Do not be afraid of consequences, instead have faith and be brave. We only have each other and we have to stand together! This is just the tip of the iceberg, what’s next? I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to find out! We the American people have woken up and refuse to be quiet, and we will figure out how to fight for justice. Together we can and together we will.

  19. Lizzie says:

She’s a piece of trash that fell out of a giant dumpster of a family. They should all be ostracized.

  20. Eric says:

My new fave restaurant is Red Hen!

Take that you smoky-eyed lying feckless C!

We hope that you choke at your next press briefing.

  21. grabbyhands says:

I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so

How does this swamp witch not burst into flames when she says shiz like this???

The burden of being a nasty, evil, hypocritical, lying Nazi mouthpiece has made her outsides as ugly as her insides. Except she probably relishes it.

And to think-she’s not even the worst Huckabee.

    • Christin says:

She’s just so polite and respectful of reporters trying to do their jobs, isn’t she?

The walk and the talk simply don’t match. I am still amazed that Haberman led the charge in making her a victim during the correspondents’ dinner. How people jumped from interpreting a smoky eye lies makeup joke to slamming her looks is beyond me

  22. IlsaLund says:

It seems Trump’s people are intentionally visiting restaurants now seeking to get a reaction so they can generate more faux outrage amongst their base. I believe Steve Miller also visited a local Mexican restaurant and was booed and heckled as well.

    • S says:

^^This. I both respect the restaurateur’s position AND think Trump admin officials are actively seeking these confrontations as a distraction, as well as red meat to stir up their their spittle-lipped base.

Also what about the cake baking v Red Hen specious analogy do Trumpsters not get? Refusing service to an INDIVIDUAL, based on their words or deeds, has ALWAYS been allowed by a private business. Refusing service to an entire CLASS of people, based on their race, religion or sex is NOT.

Being a terrible person has social consequences. It’s kind of how the entire concept of society works, actually.

What is NOT legal, is a government employee, like Sara Huckabee Sanders, using her government, not personal, Twitter account, to either promote or defame a private business. No different than a cop demanding a free diner meal by flashing his badge.

    • Parigo says:

Yes. With Miller it was clearly a stunt and they will keep doing it. I guess that’s my only problem with this. It gives them the room to play the victim and say they took the “high road”.

      • magnoliarose says:

Let’s not allow them to martyr themselves. He chose a Mexican restaurant on purpose to hurt Mexicans and other Latinos and to be a hero for his cause.

      • Parigo says:

I absolutely agree. And I will continue to support businesses that take a stand. Unfortunately for them it’s just more smoke and mirrors. Every time their sorry asses get shamed or kicked out their base will loooove it.

I’m not saying the owner was wrong and support her %100.

  23. lightpurple says:

My cousin is all excited that the restaurant where she took her son to dinner after his graduation from Washington & Lee made the national news. Her son still lives there and she called him last night to say she wants to go back on her next visit so she can thank the owner for this. He replied that he made a point of being at the restaurant when it opened last night to thank them and to make the reservations for her visit.

    • magnoliarose says:

Great to hear and a way to show support for the people who are willing to do the right thing.

  24. Rapunzel says:

So according to the right, it’s okay to refuse to bake a cake for gay people. It’s also okay to refuse to fill a person’s prescription if it’s for a medicine you don’t agree with like birth control or the morning after pill.

But refusing to serve a person because they work for Donald Trump is wrong? Lord of the cognitive dissonance. I’m amazed Trump supporters’ heads don’t explode due to the hypocrisy.

  25. Wood Dragon says:

Horrible, entitled little fascist isn’t She?
And she genuinely thinks she treats people well?! I guess the human beings in the press aren’t people in her eyes? Just annoying gnats?

  26. hnmmom says:

I wish some of this blowback would come from other diners in the restaurants. Honestly, I thought about it. If I lived there and one of these nazi a-holes come in to a restaurant I was in, I would just turn and stare at them, unflinching, the entire time they were there. If our government won’t hold them accountable, they should have to face an angry mob of citizens everywhere they go. No peace for them, no refuge. They should be confronted every time they step out in the community .

    • Parigo says:

Honestly, if I was in a restaurant and SS or Miller walked in, I’d pay my bill, tell the establishment why I was leaving and walk out without finishing my meal.

I couldn’t eat in their presence without wanting to throw up.

  27. Lyla says:

Someone on Twitter that they should have taken her order and be “we’ll get back to you on that” whenever she asked where the food was. Lol.

The homeland security chick Kristjen (idk how she spells her name) was also booed out of a “won’t you be my neighbor” screening.

It’s amazing how the gop doesn’t see the irony. If you’re ok with business refusing to serve gay people, Muslims, with pharmacists refusing to fill in ‘scripts then guess what, other people can refuse the right to serve you too. Working for the dotard is not a protected class.

  28. RBC says:

“ smokey eye made of lies”
    LOL

  29. Ladiabla says:

Wow, she looks completely worn out from all the lies she has to spew, I see she couldn’t be bothered with the smoky eye anymore. I’m glad they threw her hypocritical lying ass out, none of those people should be able to enjoy a comfortable meal anytime, anywhere while children are being treated this way in our country.

  30. Joh says:

Sarah’s father was one of Kim Davis’s biggest champions of her right not to serve same sex couples with Marraige licsenses when he was running for president.

  31. homeslice says:

Everyone covered it…I hate, hate, hate, hate these people. Everyday I feel like throwing myself on the floor like a 3 yr old and screaming. What we are forced to live through is horrible. I hate that I have to not read news to actually keep myself healthy and functoning. Did I mention I HATE this?????

  32. Jordan says:

She left out of respect, fine. But let’s be real here, out of respect for the other patrons she never should have been there. Stay in your hole, politicians. Stay in your hole.

  33. why? says:

Sarah isn’t used to people standing up to her because the republicans and WH press reporters are always so complicit. We all saw how the press, Mika, Andrea, and Maggie attacked Michelle Wolf for calling Sarah out on her lies and how Sarah waged a massive media attack on Michelle.

Why are the WH press reporters like April R whining about there not being press briefings? I could understand if these press briefings were productive, but these briefings are a total waste of time because they aren’t learning anything new and all Sarah does is lie and berate the press. I was very disappointed in MSNBC for airing the Dotard’s “Angel Families” press briefing. This was the same thing that Hitler did to justify his actions against the Jews and non Jewish(Jevovah Witnesses, Gypsies, political opponents, mental disorders, LBGQT, disabled, Priests and Pastors). This is 2018, I never thought that I would see what happened in the 30s and 40s happening right before my eyes. Again, we have to ask, why is the press so complicit? Democrats like Nancy want the Democrats to play nice(she tells people don’t talk about impeaching the Dotard or the Russian investigation because it will anger the Dotard’s base and mobilize the base), now is not the time to play nice. I don’t understand why there is so much focus on the Dotard’s base. It’s not the base we need to be worried about, it’s the people who hacked our election.

    • why? says:

This month the press is focused on kids being separated and these tent cities, but what scares me the most is that the press will soon forget about these kids the same way they did the Muslim ban, LBGTQ military ban, DACA, Puerto Rico, the mayor of San Juan(I read somewhere that she was being investigated by the FBI), the women who the Dotard assaulted, the Parkland Kids, and the March For Our Lives kids. The press is just as responsible for creating the monsters that are Sarah, the Dotard, and Stephen Miller. Instead of waiting in the briefing room to hear more lies from Sarah, the WH press reporters, should be going back and following up on these stories that were dropped.

      • magnoliarose says:

Everything you said is truth. I used to watch MSNBC but I can’t stomach their coverage of 45. It is weak and reactionary. Rachel is the only one I bother with.
No hard questions and they follow where he leads. THEY keep this going by refusing to cover what is happening long term.

  34. Yup says:

I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully

    Uh… no you dont.

  35. Cintra.C says:

    Dear Sarah:
I really don’t care, do you?

  36. DenG says:

She appears to be miserable, the same grim, pouty, disgruntled expressions of POTUS and at times, FLOTUS. Don’t know why, eh?

  37. SAm says:

    That’s their right.

I was astonished when I found out this woman’s age. She’s 3 years older than me but looks a good two decades older.

    • ImAlreadyGone says:

Hey come on guys, it’s not her fault that her face looks like someone shoved Mr. Potato Head parts into some old dog barf. That face is appropriate to be the mouthpiece for fascism.

They’re all ugly, vile, and disgusting. May their names and memories be erased – and short of that, may they provoke scorn and contempt for generations.

  38. BooBooLaRue says:

Hurrah! I applaud the owner who “we observe the right to refuse service” has a whole new meaning. And for the record, she is an ugly personality.

  39. Betsy says:

Why is she so yellow undertoned? I don’t remember her looking like that previously. Is she sick? Is she drinking it excess?

    • Starkiller says:

Her makeup artist has used a completely non-matching (to her skin tone) shade of foundation on her face and neck. It was probably a bid to make her look tan. Instead, she just looks jaundiced.

      • Kris says:

Orange was already taken, so the rest of the Trump administration has to wear yellow. It’s a rule. 😉

  40. Ophelia says:

Waiting for it to escalate to “…thrown out of office en masse”

Hopefully with a side of “…thrown out with the trash”.

I first thought why not “…thrown out of the country” as well, but pity any land mass that has to host them, like can a chunk of earth sponaneously wither upon contact?

  41. Reece says:

    Turnabout is fair play.

Also if I was anywhere near Virginia I would go there and buy dinner and some things to go.

  42. --- says:

Hey…If the Supreme Court is gonna allow some jerk to discriminate in his bakery….then game on I say. Don’t serve @ssholes.

  43. Nic919 says:

Shunning is old school biblical treatment so for alleged Christians you would think she would accept that. But no, because they are amoral monsters. They all need to be facing things like this to understand just how mad people are. And it’s not even close to the torment some of their victims have faced, like having their kids ripped away. No pity for this one.

  44. Incredulous says:

Since you can buy gift cards for the Red Hen restaurant over the internet, people have been buying gift cards and donating them to veterans. Good Eggery is alive and well.

  45. Shannon says:

    Bitch, I really don’t care, do u?

I love Virginia; I graduated from Old Dominion University and I just enjoyed the whole area (Va Beach/Norfolk) so much. I’ve wanted to take my older son (who was six when we moved from there) back as a surprise present for his college graduation next year. We may have to make a stop at the Red Hen – out of the way but worth it.

  46. Prikalop says:

Her boss Trump kicked out One Direction out hos hotel in NY because their manager did not bother to wake them up to come down and meet his daughter, I think. He said he did not want them in the hotel anymore. Not sure if this is the axact story line but there you go, boss man leads by example that you can kick paying customers out of the business they own LOL These people are inccredibly rude to everyody and somehow, expects that to have no effect?

  47. Linda says:

The restaurant has been closed until further notice. I doubt the owner wanted any of this publicity

  48. Racer1 says:

I wonder how good it feels when people use the same tactics on others they despise when used on themselves.

  49. Moonflower says:

This is my area of the world. I live and work in the surrounding areas, right next to Lexington. The small city of Lexington is more blue, but the counties surrounding it are very red. There is a lot of poverty, and even more ignorance. Confederate flag is everywhere, for example. Most of the people I know are conservative and most of them are still defending Trump. It makes me sick. My FB wall is alight with colleagues furious at how SHS was treated and proclaiming they will boycott. A couple have even surprised me and I’m looking at a lot of people through new eyes. It’s ridiculous. I continued to be amazed every single day that people think this administration is even a speck of okay. I often feel very alone here. The Red Hen WILL get my business.

    • Christin says:

I live roughly two hours from this town, and what you describe sounds a lot like where I live, except there are no blue zones. We often have zero Dem choices on the ballot for local elections. I understand your loneliness in that regard.

  50. Rescue Cat says:

America is in a lot of trouble. The rivalry between Democrats and Republicans is starting to seem as irreconcilable as the rift between Sunis and Shites in the middle east. Things may actually get a lot worse.

  51. Rescue Cat says:

So Obama was a Communist and Trump’s a Nazi. I guess that makes me a centrist extremist. lol.

  52. WendyNerd says:

The owner has already been doxxed on Yelp. Sanders knows what she is doing, that psychopath.

  53. Anare says:

Yep! And I just read about Roseanne Barr crying that she’s lost everything. Yep. If you’re going to be a bigot, racist, homophobic, Nazi, sexist, hate-monger of whatever flavor, you must accept that you might be shown the door. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Oh well…

  54. Mego says:

I have to laugh at SHS’ s attempt to take the high road with the “it says alot more about her blah blah blah.” I feel no sympathy for her. She lies and defends cruelty on a daily basis and the owner of the restaurant was protesting that, not that she represents a political party. This is not about politics.
