Donald Trump walked in front of the Queen when they met at Windsor Castle

Well, it happened. Amid some of the largest protests and demonstrations ever seen in London, Donald Trump arrived at Windsor Castle on Friday to meet the Queen. I have to give it to Theresa May – she actually planned out Trump’s visit rather brilliantly, and she managed to keep him away from the biggest protests. He’s such a giant baby, and she knew he would have thrown such a massive tantrum if he actually got to see some of the huge protests in Britain. Anyway, the Queen received Donald and Melania Trump at Windsor Castle, and she did her job well enough. I mean, I was shocked that she actually smiled at both of them, but as many of you have pointed out, she’s used to making small talk with despots and dictators. She’s been doing it all her life.

The problem seemed to be that no one had briefed the Trumps on what to do, so it was left up to the Queen to order them around. It was minorly shambolic and embarrassing (for America). In the video below, you can clearly see the Queen telling Melania that she needs to stay up on the dais/steps while the Queen and Emperor Bigly walked down to meet the Beefeaters. That’s when it all went sideways, as Trump twirled and walked ahead of the Queen (NO!) and she tried to tell him where he needed to go and he didn’t listen. It was a mess. If you want, skip ahead to about the 3:30 mark to see when it all starts to go wrong. For a brief moment, it was like the Queen was playing hide-and-seek behind his fat ass.

Emperor Fat Ass got the hell out of Windsor in a hurry, and flew to his golf course in Scotland, where he’s spending the weekend. On Monday, he’ll attend the all-important meeting with Vladimir Putin, his KGB/FSB handler. Because this lard butt has been compromised this whole time. Hilariously, Robert Mueller dropped indictments on twelve Russian agents for their work in hacking the DNC server, and for spearphishing Clinton campaign email accounts, which happened per Trump’s public instructions during a press conference. The breaking news about the indictments happened simultaneously to Trump’s visit with the Queen. America is the Calamity Jane of international politics at this point.

The walking skit that is America. He always takes it up a level, never a dull moment. Unfortunately, we all have to live with it.

  2. Loopy says:

Honestly this man is such an indecent human being it’s shocking. The Queen should have given the nod to the guards to take him out once and for all.

    • Tate says:

I would have paid money for that to happen.

    • Lightpurple says:

The Captain of the Guard looked like he wanted to run him through with that sword when he blocked the Queen.

      • JustJen says:

I’m just so glad I’m not the only one thinking something like that…watching this crap and all I can think is, the sword is RIGHT THERE, put it to good use and end this nightmare.

    • Googlyyy says:

But so many on here cheer when Megan breaks protocol?

      • Nic919 says:

She hasn’t broken any protocol because crossing your legs and holding hands with your spouse has been done by every other member of the royal family at one point or another. But dump would have been briefed on how to do his job and was still an idiot about it. Plus she’s a 92 year old woman and he has no sense of common decency.

      • Lightpurple says:

What Meghan does is a family issue that reflects only on Meghan. What Trump does is an international issue that reflects on the United States of America.

      • Original Jenns says:

Aside from being an American mixed race actress who married Prince Harry, thus stealing him away from true English Roses, what protocol has she actually broken?

      • Enormous Coat says:

Because she’s not a Nazi and sexual predator. Does that make sense?

      • Racer1 says:

Its not just cheers. There were many, many people looking forward to her shaking things up, being a breath of fresh air and breaking with an antiquated tradition which essentially translates to breaking protocol.

      • Surely Wolfbeak says:

Oops! You got lost Googglyyy. The Daily Mail comment section is that-a-way.

      • worldsgonebananas says:

Meghan hasn’t broken protocol though. Racer1, none of that is really going to happen. I suspect she will have to “toe the line” within the BRF.

      • Rascalito says:

OMG The Daily Mail comment section is VILE beyond belief. I go on that site just to see pictures of celebrity news basically lol, but the writing in those articles is painful to actually read. Then you get to the comments section and it’s full on batsh*t crazy Trump lovers. It’s so depressing every time I look at it. At this point I can’t tell if it’s a bunch of Russian bots, or actual human morons, because they sound the same and both make no sense at all.

    • Skylark says:

@Googlyyy – Lord, that’s seriously poor quality ‘whataboutery’.

      • magnoliarose says:

Isn’t it? The people who hate her are seriously and obsessively unbalanced.

      • Googlyyy says:

Just trying to understand! Apparently it it’s refreshing; that’s what I’ve read on here anyway.
Just wondering what the difference is? Personally I think the protocol is pretty easy to follow so don’t understand why people just don’t.

      • Googlyyy says:

Lolllllll those who “hate” her? By pointing out things that happened? Why do Megan fans sound much like Trump fans? Same hatred for facts and blind devotion to covering up any mistakes.

What’s next? Shouts of “fake news” perhaps?

      • Enough Already says:

        Googlyyy
It would further the conversation if you could point out what protocols Meghan has actually breached. I’ll wait.

      • Enn says:

        AGREED. The whataboutism is blatant.

      • magnoliarose says:

        It is called perspective Googlyyy.
You must hate the woman to drag her into a 45 thread. You are comparing her to a vile racist misogynist buffoon breaking protocols that have stood for hundreds of years that even despots from crumbling “third” world countries followed graciously. All those leaders of “shithole” countries managed to do it.
So when you provide an example of something similar I will stand corrected but we both know that won’t happen.

      • Carol says:

I didnt get gogglly as being anti-meghan. I understood it as simply a question about how one person gets cheers for “breaking” protocol while another doesnt. Thats all. And before anyone attacks me for being anti-meghan and pro-trump, im actually the opposite.

I also heard tgat Trump did not actually break any protocols. But in IMO, who cares about protocols, you just don’t cut off a 90+ year old lady. Thats just common decency

    • Jerusha says:

      Like button.👍🏻👍🏻

    • KiddV says:

Even if they weren’t told what the protocols were, Trump should not have walked in front of a 92 year old, tiny slip of a woman. That’s just common courtesy and manners. Trump always has to be front and center no matter who he pushes over. He’s an embarrassment.

      • gwen says:

In Trump’s small mind, he’s the only person who matters.

      • Christin says:

Even if he and his wife couldn’t be bothered with getting any instructions beforehand, any person with manners would not walk in front of an elderly woman. The self-centeredness is evident.

      • Mego says:

I think this is exactly the point. You treat a 90+ woman like royalty period. You show respect, you don’t take up all the space with your considerable bulk and block her. You treat her like she is the most important person because dammit she is. But not DT because no one is more important to him than him not even the friggin Queen of England.

      • Escaped Convent says:

I always wonder if anyone, ever, attempted to teach him manners? Maybe someone tried and gave up. Just imagine what a delightful child he must have been.

He really cannot go anywhere without embarrassing the United States. And he thinks the UK “likes him a lot”!

        God, what an imbecile.

      • Tigerlily says:

I suspect that there were attempted briefings prior to ugly orange guy’s visit to QEII, but he always knows best so doubtful if he read them or paid any attention to any verbal attempts to brief him.

I’ve read elsewhere that Charles & William both refused to meet him….anybody know if that’s accurate?

      • Mrs.Krabapple says:

I hope the Queen, Prime Ministers, and basically every other civilized government on Earth, learns their lesson from this and shuns this orange @sshole in the future. As an American, I know that will hurt us diplomatically, but maybe American deserves to be punished for electing him in the first place.

      • whybother says:

        @Escaped Convent
He is not 2 y.o who need constant reminders about manners. If his parents/nannies/helpers/etc failed to instill even some basic common courtesy eons ago, I dont think anyone can teach him anything now. Well, unless his teacher is his favorite VP, then maybe he can learn something. But that begs a question, which part of the world that didnt belongs to USA get sold as tutoring fee?//

      • jwoolman says:

Trump doesn’t have any natural sense of courtesy and although I’m sure he was told what to do — he just doesn’t listen or remember. If Melania had been right next tonhim, she could have guided him because she actually listens to instructions and understands them.

Oh, well. The Queen has toddler grandchildren, so certainly she took it all in stride. She knows what Trump is.

He actually seemed to be trying to be on his best behavior in public, though. I think he was kind of awestruck at the pageantry. He likes that sort of thing. Remember how he reacted to the Bastille Day celebration in France? He wanted one like that here and apparently will get it in November, even though it will damage the streets. (He must have threatened a tantrum if he didn’t get his way.) Emotionally, he’s 4 years old. Other observers said he had a childlike reaction to all of the public ceremony with the Queen.

Who knows what dumb things he said to the Queen in private, but he wasn’t too awful in public. Just really clumsy and clueless. Did anybody expect something different?

    • AnotherDirtyMartini says:

@Loopy – I thought the Queen had decided that very thing when the man with the sword walked over to the dais & performed his sword maneuvers. Oh well..

  3. minx says:

Many, many thanks to the UK for the witty protests.
Loved that Trump was standing next to a dog dish when he posed with TQ in whatever hallway that was.

    • Lunde says:

That was a fabulous “formal” photo in the corridor by the dog dish. Can it have been deliberate? Trump and Melania also looked like their own waxworks in the picture.

      • ChillyWilly says:

I chuckled at the dog dish too! I hope it was done purposely.

      • AnnaKist says:

Hi Lunde. They really do look like waxworks, but Madame Toussard’s would need to make an especially large order of wax for Trumpaloon’s Hugh Jarss. It’s not often you see a man with such a massively rotund arse.

His behaviour in the video truly illustrates just what a giant, ill-mannered, wilfully ignorant twat he is.

      • Ophelia says:

There have been other heads of state that have their picture taken with HMQE2 in that same hallway. None of them have dogbowls in next to them.

In addition, the blog The Queen Jewel Vaults noted that on the day of Trump’s welcoming reception at Blenheim with PM May, QE2 was seen at a public event wearing a brooch given by Obama.

So take what you will from the Queen’s messaging tactics here.

      • magnoliarose says:

        @Ophelia
The BRF is all about photographic symbolism. Hahaha. Thanks for pointing that out.

    • Betsy says:

He hates dogs, so maybe they did it to tweak him. Isn’t that one of the first reasons that TQ liked Meghan, because she likes dogs and is so good with TQ’s especially?

      • AnnaKist says:

What a shame someone didn’t sic the Royal Corgis on to him…

      • Clara says:

Betsy, yes, apparently that is one of the reasons. Supposedly her corgis (bless their little fuzzy hearts in the great dog basket in the sky) are quite temperamental/snappy but took to Meghan very quickly. Plus the Queen was dogsitting(!!) her beagle,Guy, in the run-up to the wedding. You probably saw the pictures of him in the Range Rover with the Queen looking like a lil doggy boss.

      • Escaped Convent says:

I’ve never heard that he hates dogs, but I can believe it. He hates everything that’s good and happy. If he does, that says a hell of a lot about him.

I still think that science needs to study his brain, immediately. There has to be some bizarre wiring in there somewhere.

I guess I don’t want to believe that anyone could be so horrible and deviant, natura!ly.

      • Lisa says:

So what you’re saying is, he’s a cat person? Potentially? *shudder* I don’t want him to be one of us…

      • lara says:

I think he hates pets in general. As a germophobe he considers them as potential germ carriers.

      • jwoolman says:

Lisa — Bite your tongue! Cat person, indeed. Trump must hate cats even more because cats don’t obey orders and will poop in your shoe if you annoy them too much.

I imagine that if there was a pet cat in the White House, she would be wearing a wire disguised as a collar to immediately upload everything picked up to Bob Mueller. I can just see a cat peacefully snoozing in a hidden location in the Oval Office, doing her patriotic duty. Trump wouldn’t even notice her because she would have come in like the fog on little cat feet….

      • hogtowngooner says:

I think he’s just a narcissist and hates anything that takes attention off of him.

      • bananapanda says:

Trump is on the record as saying he thinks pets are ‘low class’. He’s the first president to not have a dog in a long long time.

    • PodyPo says:

@Ophelia, thanks for that info. I loved learning about Madeleine Albright’s brooch collection and how she used them for signaling. Hope that’s what the Q was doing!

    • PodyPo says:

@minx hope the dog dish was deliberate! If not it was a very happy accident.

    • Agirlandherdog says:

I wish they wouldn’t go out of their way to keep him from seeing these protests when he goes on state visits. Let him see how much the world despises him.

  4. Naomi says:

Not gonna lie I laughed when he stood stick still right in front of Liz and she had to walk around him. He has zero self awareness but that bit was hilarious

    • Alyse says:

      That was hilarious

    • Betsy says:

He does that to all the women. I’m pretty sure that’s purposeful.

      • AnnaKist says:

Yes, I’m with you, Betsy. He is utterly rude, I’ll-mannered, disrespectful and deliberately offensive towards women. And if he’s like this on a world stage, with cameras everywhere that beam his behaviour to so many media outlets, just imagine what he’s like when there are no cameras.

      • Nic919 says:

Perhaps he was having another dementia moment too. He seems to not know where is supposed to go more often. They haven’t even bothered to hide how he has obvious mental health issues (in addition to the narcissism) with all the times he walks by his limo or babbles non words during his speeches.

      • Giddy says:

@Nic919, especially when he babbled about no one using the word England anymore, so it was nice to see the team just referred to as England!

      • Giddy says:

        double post

      • nicole says:

Remember when he shoved some prime minister out of the way at a summit last year, the man is just rude and obnoxious

    • Nancy says:

Yep, he has zero self-awareness. Like looking full on at the eclipse. Senile old man. I was at a glorious summer party last night, even though I could only watch others drink the pink lemonade champagne punch…grr. The only rule of the evening was not to mention 45 in any regard. Above the divine food, appetizers, desserts, friends, family, etc. was a totally 45less mid summers night dream.

      • magnoliarose says:

We don’t say his name either. He’s not allowed to be discussed at family dinner at anyone’s house or any parties or occasions. Now friends are doing it too. It makes for a better time.

      • Pamspam says:

Nancy – was that dinner party in DTLA by chance?

      • Nancy says:

Erie, PA of all places. Had to retrieve kids from grandtravel. Highly recommend it to anyone who can do so. Grandparents and kids spending time together is cool, especially at the ages my children are now.

      • Lisa says:

lol, I forgot about the eclipse! What kind of providence prevented him from going blind?!

    • jwoolman says:

Well, look at the way Trump always barges ahead of his wife, even hogging the only umbrella in the rain.

No President in my lifetime would have had any trouble with the normal protocol. That includes (not necessarily in order) Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, LBJ, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bill Clinton, Bush One and Bush Two, and Obama. (Have I left anybody out?). Many different men of different ages and temperament, but they all could have handled it.

But Trump is not normal. He is a malignant narcissist and totally self-absorbed and lacking in empathy. And the guy who was his ghost writer on The Art of the Deal is now saying that he thinks Trump is seriously losing his mind and now spends close to 100% of the time in his own little world, far from reality. Yippee. Aren’t we lucky.

  5. Jane says:

I imagine the Great Orange one is going to demand there is a parade for back in the states with our military forces saluting him. I’m sure he was steaming in the UK, “D***, the Queen gets these salutes all the time! I wan’t salutes back home too!!!!! “

  6. Anna nuttall says:

While expecting the guard, he was like a kid in a candy shop. Seriously look at his face.
Love that they only spent 45 minutes there and the Queen gave her best RBRF (royal bitches resting face).

    • Lunde says:

It really was the bare minimum Royal visit. It must really be killing him that the Obamas got a whole evening and state banquet while he got a rushed cup of tea. I bet that Doria got a longer visit as well.

He seemed to keep the Queen waiting as well as she was stood waiting for 12 minutes (checking her watch) in 80F heat. He has no respect for older women leaders (always arrogant with Merkel, May and now the Queen).

      • IlsaLund says:

Didn’t the Obama’s also have a sleepover with the Queen?

      • AnnaKist says:

“One was kept waiting for 12 minutes and One was not amused…” Barge-arse drumpf is nothing but a degenerate.

      • Christin says:

Oh, but he scooted on to Scotland and likely charged US taxpayers for the evening meal. One estimate of the total for this weekend in Scotland (at his property) was $200K.

      • Lady D says:

On the news they mentioned taxpayers were on the hook for security to the tune of $5 million for the Scottish portion of the trip.

      • Christin says:

@Lady D – I should have clarified the figure I heard was only related to the club expenses (which go straight to his coffers). No doubt the total cost is in the millions.

      • Lady D says:

Christin, that $5 mill was just for security in Scotland. It didn’t cover any other costs, and by the way, how does he rack up and $200 grand bill when he owns the bloody joint?

      • Jerusha says:

@LadyD. The security that follows his lardass at his USA golf courses has to pay for the golf carts they use to trail him. They probably had to pay for their lodging at his crappy “resort.” The trump family motto, emblazoned large “FVCK ETHICS”.

      • jwoolman says:

The Scotsman has an article saying that Trump and the Trumplings such as Don Jr have been billing the US taxpayers enormous amounts of $$$ for business trips etc. to their Scottish property. I think it was just recently revealed, didn’t remember seeing it in US media and in particular the late night comedian routines….

  7. Skylark says:

It was fun and we gave him the welcome he deserved but I’m glad we’re done with him as he really is too grimly dumb and ignorant to be even vaguely entertaining. I resented every second of the ‘official’ civility extended to him.

You have my heartfelt sympathies, America, that this is your daily lot.

    • BearcatLawyer says:

Well done, UK friends, well done!

I have long believed one’s best friends are those who not only support you through tough times but will not hesitate to call you out when you are wrong. If this weekend is not proof of the friendship the USA shares with the UK, I do not know what is.

  8. SympathyRage says:

This is nothing to do with America. This is Trump and religious extremists – domestic terrorists who force gays and lesbians into conversion torture programs, who willfully follow and defend evil and stupid people, who justify the separation of families because, damn, they just don’t quite look as “pure” as the f*cking bedsheets they run around in at night. The rest of the world is watching us with a mix of Schadenfreude and sadness, but they know how ridiculous our voting system is (even Putin correctly criticized that absurd bullsh*t known as the Electoral College, and probably envied us for having one) and that the majority of Americans were vocal about their “WTF?” positions. And if/when the time comes, we will have support of millions of people, no matter how big the flames grow around our asses. F*ck this evil p.o.s.

  9. Indiana Joanna says:

drump leaves a trail of slime on everyone. But the Queen seemed to transcend his horribleness. She respected the US presidency but seemed detached from the individual and his crudeness.

Caught sight of evil, unpleasant Sarah Huckabee. Her laughable comment that the Queen entertaining a president is so rare and special came directly from drump. Gawd, both drump and Sanders are just so hideous.

Can’t express my appreciation and awe deeply enough for all the UK in protesting this monster who causes great pain everyday.

Now on to his treasonous meeting with Putin, the shiney rat faced monster is who drump’s true soul mate.

    • Esmom says:

Following Trump’s trip has been painful. Worse are the deplorables who insist that he’s done a great job in Europe and that Russian interference in our election was a) Obama’s fault and b) consisted of “just some memes” and how could they possibly have influenced anyone?

Gah, these people who only get their news from memes and mindlessly share them. I am continually aghast at how the GOP is fine with their systematic, widespread attack on our technology and elections.

      • Indiana Joanna says:

EsMom, I’m still relatively new at Twitter. The Deplorables and their love of dozens of cross and flag emojis is so bizarre. The women Deplorables all have the standard sexpot profile pictures and the men all have the burly hunter type pics. Is this who Russia thinks the American public really are? Actual photos of deplorables show them as deeply unattractive people.

      • Swack says:

And now Trump is blaming the Dems for allowing Russia to hack into the DNC server.

      • Googlyyy says:

Indianajoanna – hilariously the “sexpot” profile pictures aren’t even really them, reverse search them and you’ll see they’re generally stolen from Insta models.

      • Nic919 says:

Twitter has started to purge a lot of the bot profiles but many still remain. And you can be certain that Russia is still having fun sowing discord and chaos in the US political discourse. Mueller’s indictment revealed some serious technology in terms of interference and I suspect they work on most major western countries at this point.

    • Original Jenns says:

Huckster Sanders said that?! Oh, good Lord, I need to see that video! And I too am grateful for England’s protests. It says so much that he is being protested in countries in which he has no leading role. I hope I’m still around the day history books mention this dark time in US history, and people are ashamed it happened. I’m betting Russia uses twitter for parts of their hacks, as well as comment sections. At least to sow discord. Every once in awhile, I see comments here that are so lacking in self awareness and sound slightly off, I assume their from a Russian bot. I feel for the decent people there, being linked to such a horrible regime.

    • Lady D says:

“Can’t express my appreciation and awe deeply enough for all the UK in protesting this monster who causes great pain everyday.” Vehement agreement.

  10. ChillyWilly says:

    Double post

  11. me46 says:

Plus The Queen was the only one to meet with him too. Nobody else in the RF would attend. I bet William and Harry LOATHE him due to the disgusting stuff he’s said about their mother. I’m surprised Princess Michael wasn’t there though.

    • Skylark says:

I don’t think they need a reason to loathe him. Most sentient beings do.

    • Darla says:

I read a Politico report that William and Charles flat out refused to attend. I don’t know if it’s true. But I don’t doubt it.

      • magnoliarose says:

I believe it. He is so vile I can see them not wanting to prolong a visit or to breathe in his noxious fumes. Plus 45 would only pull a photo stunt so keep it low and quick and get his ugly ass out of there.

    • Jan90067 says:

He also said about Kate: “She was sunbathing topless so she deserved what she got. Someone should make money off it”. He is a despicable, abhorrent, repulsive piece of human garbage!

I *still* have trouble wrapping my head around this debacle that is our lot here.

  12. Rapunzel says:

On holiday in London right now. Had two cabbies praising Trump. One went on an anti-Muslim rant. Ugh.

I notice EZ has Tweeted nada about Liz. Double ugh.

    • Anna nuttall says:

Taxi driver in London are a c you next Tuesday lot (not all of them I like add!). I live near a Taxi waiting area and sometime you really do hear the most horrible shittest language, especially to anyone who is black or don’t look British.

      • Clara says:

I hate to say it, (since Uber has some shifty business practices), but you’re more likely to get a far more amenable Uber Driver than a black cab taxi driver as a large number of Uber drivers are first gen immigrants as opposed to the life long east-ender with a dubious relationship with the St George’s Cross.
Plus, you know you won’t get ripped off with an Uber like a black cab.

  13. ChillyWilly says:

What a baffoon. Royal protocol aside, it’s rude and thoughtless to walk in front of a 90 year old.

Also, why does Melanie have her hand over her BOOB during the national anthem?

  14. Snowflake says:

She’s in great shape, doesnt look 90. The Queen is a very hard working woman

  15. SnowMonkey says:

This site and all its contributors have been my little safe haven from the horror that is Trump. Living in the UK, one feels helpless to stop this despicable man and his followers as they persist in their path of destruction – until Friday. To lend my support to all my American friends, I left work early to join the thousands of wonderful people standing up to his agenda of hatred inTrafalgar Square. My first protest. Fabulous atmosphere. I am very proud of Londoners and all the visitors who joined in, for the way we made our voice heard in a peaceful, unified way. It gives me hope.

    • Esmom says:

That’s great that you joined the protest, thank you. It was the only bright spot of his hellish trip abroad.

    • Tate says:

Thank you, SnowMonkey! I watched the protests and was cheering you all on!

    • magnoliarose says:

Thank you for doing it. It helps us to know others realize that most of us aren’t like him at all. It cheered up a lot of people and added some much needed levity to the bleakness of this presidency. 🙂

    • Nic919 says:

That looks like it was a fun protest. And the pictures are amazing. They certainly are much more impressive than his inauguration.

    • SnowMonkey says:

So many of the placards were brilliant. One of my favourites – ” Trump, I hope you get stuck on the Central Line in rush hour”. I always joke with my friends that the Central Line, in rush hour, in the summer, is the 7th circle of hell. Well that is exactly where 45 belongs.

    • minx says:

      Thank you SnowMonkey!

    • Original Jenns says:

Love to hear this! I truly think that these protest are bringing and keeping together the good that will eventual outlast this evil. This is the coming together of humanity.

    • Christin says:

Thank you for taking time to participate in the protest. As I said Friday, you all know how to do it right! A “carnival” was a brilliant spin on it.

    • Escaped Convent says:

Bless your heart, SnowMonkey! Many thanks.

  16. Max says:

He is such an AHOLE! I am certain someone briefed him on protocol around the Queen but as usual it shows he didn’t listen and he didn’t care!

    • PodyPo says:

      Or probably just could’t remember.

    • Christin says:

He seems the type that simply will not listen (thinks he knows it all). This is the type person no sane, rational being would want as a neighbor, co-worker or especially a boss.

      • jwoolman says:

Christin – that’s exactly what one of his more famous professors at UPenn said. This was a guy who taught at Wharton (graduate school within UPenn, they shared professors with the undergrad economics dept) and had written a textbook in his field. He said repeatedly that Donald Trump was the dumbest goddamn student he ever had, and that when he transferred to UPenn from Fordham (I wonder what he did to get the Jesuits ticked off?), he thought he already knew it all. The prof died before seeing what havoc Trump has been wreaking on the US and the world.

Trump’s fellow students said he was never prepared in study sessions and never seemed to read a book. He also
went home to NYC every weekend. Trump was only in school to stay out of the equally stupid Vietnam War.

  17. Capepopsie says:

He actually made TQ wait for him too, Since he turned up 15 minutes late! She was not amused! 🙈

  18. Eric says:

The best mock-up picture is the Queen holding the “Trump is a C😭nt” sign in the group photo. Bravo!

  19. RBC says:

I would love to know what was going through the Queen’s mind when she was sitting across from Melania and 45 during tea?

Was the Queen thinking is Melania human or a robot from Westworld? Or looking at 45’s hair thinking I should give him one of the corgis ‘s brushes to fix that mess?
Mostly likely thinking “ I am too old for this shit and why the hell isnt Anne here?”

  20. Julia says:

The title and a life of service notwithstanding, what buffoon walks like an unhinged moron in front of a 90+ year old woman AND THEN, STOPS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER? I suspect, he- the Cheetoh in Chief- expected her to trot along beside him to hear the toxic gems dripping from his orange face… as the child of a mother of a certain age, it makes me stabby to see some arrogant shit act like that to any older adult, much less the Queen. I wish the corgis had taken him out.

  21. Lightpurple says:

Loved how the Queen made him stand next to his wife and then took two steps sideways away from him.

Also love the old lady in pink giving him a Trumpian handshake that he clearly did not like while Liz grinned.

Neither the orange dotard or the retired porn model knew what to do because they think they are above etiquette and protocol. The Office of Protocol operates out of the Office of the First Lady and these imbeciles gutted it so that they can claim Malaria is saving us tax dollars by having a third the staff of that wasteful Michelle, never mind that Michelle’s staff was the exact same size as the five First Ladies who preceded her and Malaria doesn’t do a damned thing. As a result, we embarrass ourselves in front of the world with the dotard blocking the Queen, the outdated get-up she wore to meet the Pope and the Bride of Beetelgeuse costume Princess Nagini wore, multiple instances when Trump, Pence, Tillerson and others have addressed foreign dignitaries by the wrong names, and Nagini addressing a large Spanish audience as “Tu.”

    • magnoliarose says:

They are a vulgar bunch of miscreants only made worse because they are so arrogant. No common sense or basic etiquette at all. This is only a fraction of how he behaves in his day to day life. His table manners have been a running joke in New York for decades. Well, HE has been a running joke and now he is so loathed completely I am not sure if Complicity and the Sylph(my grandmother’s nickname for J) will ever return without the FBI and ex Mossad guarding them 24 hours a say. I don’t think he would return without extreme security measures.

    • Nic919 says:

That’s was a beautiful bit of prose in that last paragraph light purple. 😁

    • PodyPo says:

Thumbs up to all, but two whole hands up for “Malaria.” May I steal your clever term, please? I’ve been calling her Melanie the Uncaring, but Malaria is so much better!

    • Skylark says:

Brava, Lightpurple. Just as Nic919 says.

Although to be fair to Malaria (the disease), that at least can be cured with the right treatment.

There’s no cure or treatment for what ails that heartless, soulless, dead-eyed freak.

      • jwoolman says:

I dunno. I still don’t think we will know anything about what Melania thinks about all this until the old coot is safely dead or in prison for a good long sentence.

I do wonder if the old coot realizes that although Melania can’t be forced to testify against him – she can testify against him if she wants to do so….

The old coot seems to make that mistake a lot. He is pretty nasty to people who can do a lot of damage if they decide to talk with Bob Mueller.

  22. AnotherDirtyMartini says:

He truly is a pathetically embarrassing man-child. He’s oblivious to everything besides his own needs.

  23. Sansa says:

Queen is at her best here.

  24. HeyThere! says:

I saw pictures of her asking her staff where they while looking at her watch on her wrist! They left the Queen waiting on a hot day. Also, why did he seem like he was trying to be one pace ahead the entire walk?!

    • Darla says:

Well a 92 yo woman is one of the few humans he can best in a race. On a good day.

      • magnoliarose says:

Hahaha. I wish someone would make him run around a city block just for collective comedy relief.

  25. JRenee says:

And meanwhile back at the ranch, read some comments from his supporters, they saw no problem with any of his actions….so embarrassing!!!

  26. Seraphina says:

There really is no excuse for him not to know what proper etiquette is with royalty or with people of other cultures. Just as we expect Kate to not flash us and to wear proper skirt lengths, Dump Trump should be prepped to know better. He represent the United States and I think I almost cried when I wrote that. God help us all. But I digress.

No excuses. Just another blow at how he is determined to do what he wants when he wants with whomever he wants. I would say his wife should have known there were some lines of decorum to follow, but I’m sure he probably would just shoo her away. And if I were her, I’d keep my mouth shut to the world can see what a dolt he is.

  27. samipup says:

Hmmmn….had a thought. Wondering if 45 wears lifts so he won’t look as fat.

  28. Pam says:

Is Trump likely to win the next election? Because that would be horrible. Does Melania not have any other hair style?

  29. Dr Mrs The Monarch says:

It is marvellous to see Dump and the Queen walking side by side. At 92 years old she walks much better and reacts quickly when he blocks her. Meanwhile, a man nearly 20 years younger, is stiff, stilted and confused. He looks like he needs a cane and he obviously needed a guide to tell him where to go.

His lack of manners was no surprise because that is how he treats every woman. I bet he curtseys and kisses Putin’s feet though.

Also, I especially love that the Queen chose to wear Paisley print from head to toe. The pattern has strong historic ties to Persian and Indian culture as well as Islam. It is a subtle message of solidarity from the Head of the Commonwealth.

    • Nic919 says:

He is certainly classless, but part of me wonders if he was having a dementia moment when he just stopped there like that. He needed his hand held by Theresa May for stairs the day before and the long walk in front of the guards probably confused him. I am not defending his idiocy and lack of knowledge of protocol, but I also wonder if it was another sundowning moment since it would be stressful for him to walk that distance.

      • PodyPo says:

I don’t want to belittle anyone with dementia after witnessing it in my grandfather and mother. But I want to belittle Dump so much. Conflicted…

Ah, well, with him there’s so much else to disrespect I guess I have plenty enough fodder without that. But his lapses are classic signs.

      • Original Jenns says:

I think he was just admiring the guard and thinking to himself that’s he’s going to get his own when he comes back. Or he was pretending he was King and this was all for him.

    • Lisa says:

Oh, but he has a perfect health record! He’s in better shape than any other 70 year old that ever walked the earth, including royalty! 😉

  30. KBeth says:

    He is utterly classless.

  31. Zip says:

Why is he being shielded from the protests? He should see them!

    • PodyPo says:

He will read all about his visit and the protests while on the throne tomorrow morning. 😁

    • minx says:

He knows about the protests. He talked about the blimp and “ feeling unwelcome” in London. He watches the news endlessly.

      • Skylark says:

Oh he knows. And we know he knows. And he knows we know he knows. And really, that’s all that counts.

    • Swack says:

But the WH said he wasn’t being shielded which was total BS. He would have had a stroke if he saw all the protests as he was hurt by the baby Trump balloon. Now is claiming many of the protests favored him.

      • minx says:

He lies every time he tweets or opens his mouth. He may not have seen protests in person but he saw them on tv and he knew he had to avoid most places. Despite his false bravado, he knows the truth, even if he won’t admit it.

      • Swackd says:

        @minx, I totaly agree.

      • Jan90067 says:

Someone on Twitter did a side by side of his Inauguration crowd and the London protest crowds lol

  32. Tootsie McJingle says:

To borrow my new favorite Scottish insult, what a clueless numpty!

  33. PodyPo says:

Oh my, he is such a *splat* and with that suit coat he can’t button and wrinkled trousers he looks like the clown he is. Melanie’s ass in the beginning of the video is hilarious. What was she thinking?

Poor Queen, waiting there at her age for THEM to grace her with their presence. I wish she would’ve gone back inside after 5 minutes of waiting and put on a cardigan and said “oh, skip it!”

    • minx says:

He is fatter than ever and wears those gigantic pants.

      • Christin says:

Did anyone see the golf outing footage? His white golf attire doesn’t lie. He is the largest and least agile “239 pounds” I’ve ever seen.

  34. Heidi says:

By his standards, the visit went astonishingly well.

He is used to showing up late for G7 or NATO meetings and getting away with it. I think he walked in front of the Queen because he is a) not used to women taking the lead and b) he didn’t realize that an old lady cannot walk that fast on grass in heels. At least, he did not grab her hand like he did with the Prime Minister.

My favorite parts were Robert Mueller dropping the indictments DURING his 5 o’clock tea with Her Majesty plus the protest placard: “Feed him to the corgis!”

    • Jan90067 says:

Don’t forget the way he shoved his way to the front for pictures at the summit. Pure Klass that one. 😳

  35. Yes Doubtful says:

I don’t believe for one minute that the Trumps weren’t briefed on how to act around the Queen. I’m sure they were, but the Trumps don’t care or are too stupid to see why it’s disrespectful to the Queen to act that way. It’s so embarrassing that this oaf represents us. I applaud the protesters.

  36. aquarius64 says:

I read about the royal snub for the Trump meet and greet with the queen. This must really irritate Trump ,especially Meghan. She is royal along with a Scottish title.

  37. Max says:

I wish the Queen had written her memoirs. Oh the stories she could tell.

  38. cee says:

He has no common decency. He did not consider, for one moment, he was walking beside a 92 year old person. You slow down to match their pace, you don’t seemingly power walk and leave them behind. You can see TQ straining a bit trying to keep up.
And you don’t block a Head of State! WTF is in his brain? Farts?

    • KellySunshine says:

      Amen!
It killed me to see the Queen trying to keep up with Trump’s pace. My grandma is 95, and she uses a walker. I always walk super slow just so my grandma doesn’t have to wear herself out by walking faster than what is comfortable for her.

  39. Why? says:

This is what happens when people try to be civil to the Dotard. They should know by now that the best way to deal with the Dotard is not at all. He wanted a photo-op to validate his presidency and his and Stephen Miller’s racist policies and May and the Queen gave it to them. At what cost? World leaders need to stop coddling the Dotard because it always backfires on them and ends up hurting this country even worse. The Dotard was all buddy buddy with Trudeau and then he dropped the tariffs on them and bragged about how he lied to Trudeau. Notice how despite claiming that the economy and jobs numbers are going well, stores are raising their prices and many businesses are closing? Macron was all buddy buddy with the Dotard and then he dropped out of the Iran Deal. May is all buddy buddy with the Dotard and he gave that interview to the Sun trashing her and the mayor of London and undermining her authority. Who knew that Putin could take out the world order simply by getting a Dotard like Trump in the White House and surrounding him with complicit republicans(many of them have ties to Russia through their businesses). With the complicit republicans and press and civility, the Dotard and his administration won’t ever face consequences of their behavior.

Someone finally called out the White House reporters for being complicit, not sticking together because they are more concerned about having access to the Dotard, and attending Sarah’s briefings when all she does is lie and berate them and they aren’t getting any new or important information from them. Sarah is once again on the attack, using her position to punish CNN because a reporter dared to ask the Dotard a valid question. This is the number one reason why Sarah was asked to leave Red Hen. She just keeps getting worse and no one dares hold her responsible for her actions. Why?

I don’t understand why CNN is upset about the WH canceling Bolton’s interview, the press needs to stop giving the WH staffers platforms to spew their lies.

    • magnoliarose says:

The media needs to be called out a lot more for their complicity in this mess. They won’t say he lies nearly enough and they don’t call him a racist like they should. There is a long list of ways they are failing us but they won’t stop.

      • Nic919 says:

I truly think that CNN needs to ditch Jeff Zucker. He is friends with Dump and views this as entertainment. The trumpanzees should not have anymore air time on airwaves because they find excuses for the inexcusable.

  40. Original Jenns says:

Can he please get a few suits that don’t make him look like a loan shark, all shiny and wrinkled and CHEAP? And would it kill him to button his jacket so he doesn’t look so sloppy and unprofessional? As big a fan as he said his mother was, she would be so embarrassed at his demeanor and behavior.

  41. paddingtonjr says:

He tried his usual power-plays (keeping TQ waiting, walking in front of her) to no avail. In her time, TQ has met actual dictators and powerful leaders, served in the military and stayed in London during WWII bombing. He ain’t nothin’ but a blip on her radar. An annoying and disrepectful blip, but a blip nonetheless.

  42. Jerusha says:

    Deleted

  43. virginfangirl says:

Money doesn’t buy class, as Trump has showed over & over.

  44. Lightpurple says:

Just watched video of them arriving in Helsinki. I can’t remember a First Lady ever showing camel toe before. Truly, we are honored.

    • Tigerlily says:

Crazy…..and the beige dress she wore the day they arrived in England (I think) was a lovely dress but the skirt part was way too tight and was “pulling” horizontally at the seams. Tacky AF

  45. Rescue Cat says:

Our former PM put his hand on her back.

  46. Lisa says:

This visit brought out a double-standard that I’d come across before in pockets of the internet. His defenders, particularly those who have served in the military, like to respond to “haters and losers” by saying that even if you don’t agree with him, he’s the president and should be respected. (Means nothing to me as a Canadian, lolz.)

But when he does shit like this, they double-up on their vitriol toward the UK and take a sudden moral turn, citing the royal family’s sordid history, namely their role in colonialism, as well as the pedophilia coverups. Whatever happened to respecting someone based upon their title? Because he’s not THEIR leader, that doesn’t apply?

    • Rescue Cat says:

Pointing out double standards in politics is like handing out speeding tickets at the Indy 500. Anywho, things will get better. The midterms will be close but the Dems will win the next general election because Clinton won’t be their candidate.

  47. Hyacinth Bucket says:

Great video from the President Show. Toward end is spot on Donald walking.
    https://mobile.twitter.com/presidentshow/status/857669681947324416

  48. Spike says:

He has people to prep him on protocol. I’m certain many tried. But they forgot to give him the paint by numbers kit. And Fox News didn’t school him.

He probably took it as seriously as he takes the daily security briefings. He doesn’t give a shit.

I was apoplectic when I watched the footage. The 92 year old Queen of England had to walk & scoot behind him. What a total jackass.

Gotta love that Prince William & Charles refused to meet him –
