Well look whose NDA just expired. The next episode of Scandal Made Me Famous on the Reelz Channel will feature the former Kardashian nanny, Pam Behan. Behan was nanny to Kourtney, Khloe, Kim and Rob in the ‘90s and apparently stuck around until they were on the precipice of fame. Behan said she liked family overlord Kris Jenner but admitted – wait for it – she was hard to work for. This, of course, comes as no shock to us now, but prior to the OJ trial, a young 20-something like Behan would have had no idea what she was signing up for.

Each day, Behan would drive them to school and extracurricular activities around Los Angeles, becoming a trusted member of the family. She was there for many of the family milestones: Kim’s first date, Kris Jenner’s relationship with Caitlyn Jenner before she publicly came out as transgender, and even the infamous O.J. Simpson white Bronco chase.

While Behan is clear that she still adores the Kardashians, she shares that Kris Jenner was a demanding boss who had definite ideas about how things should be done.

On next week’s episode of Scandal Made Me Famous, Behan opens up about working for Jenner. An exclusive clip is above.

“I liked Kris and I respected her for many reasons,” Behan says about the reality TV matriarch. “She was not easy to work for because she was a perfectionist and she expected perfection.”

“On a daily basis, when she has a very long list and you’re fighting L.A. traffic and taking kids to their events, and maybe possibly not everything on the list gets done,” she continues. “There were a few moments where I got an earful.”

Jenner, now 62, was focused on making sure all her children succeeded and became famous, which meant that everything had to be just right. Behan, who started with the family when she was in her early 20s, says that her feelings sometimes got hurt.

“At first, I used to be just crushed when she would speak to me like that,” she says. “But she vents, she speaks what’s on her mind. She wasn’t easy to work for, but I did enjoy my job.”

First of all, we’ve seen first-hand that Kris is singularly-focused when it comes to her kids’ success. One of the biggest complaints about her is that she is a manager first and a mother second. But Behan’s description sounds like most privileged moms in LA. You wouldn’t believe some of the schedules these mothers make for their kids, be it to get them in the industry or just provide them with what they consider a “well-rounded life.” (And fyi – the nannies can’t talk about it, but the grandmothers do so think twice before you ask your mom to help out in a pinch.) Behan’s comments about being expected to get to multiple appointments in LA traffic made me cringe. Honestly, you just cannot fathom how much of our LA lives is governed by traffic until you’ve spent some time in it. Kris was nuts to think Behan had some traffic mojo no one else did. That verges on cruel and unusual punishment.

As far as Kris speaking harshly enough to hurt her feelings, I don’t watch the Kardashian show but clips I have seen showed the whole family speaking to each other in unpleasant ways. According to Behan’s comments, I can assume that’s legit and not just for the show. Plus, she was in her early 20s. I had a boss whom I liked but who continually hurt my feelings in my 20s. I went back to work for her in my late 30s and she didn’t bother me at all. I came to really enjoy her. I’m not sure how much my boss changed as opposed to me growing a thicker skin.

Maybe Behan will go into some more specifics on the show but otherwise, it doesn’t sound like we will learn anything new. I would be interested to hear what the kids’ relationships with other were like early on. And I’d like to hear what it was like to be in that house during the OJ mess. But truthfully, as far as scandals – I don’t think Kris will even be fazed by these comments.
