I actually missed Taylor Swift’s regular pap strolls, which were a thing several years ago. Back during the 1989 era, Taylor lived in New York and went on near-constant strolls to showcase all of her cute outfits. Since 2016, there’s barely been any of that. But considering that no one really cares that much about Reputation-era Swifty, maybe she’s giving the people what they want: more pap strolls, more cute outfits.
Taylor stepped out in New York – outside of her apartment building – on Tuesday. Her tour is stateside, and she’s currently doing stadiums in Cleveland, Philadelphia, New Jersey, etc. So she’s using her New York pad as her home base. The reason why I know Taylor wants us to see her: she wore a custom romper which probably set her back a pretty penny. The romper is by Fausto Puglisi. She also wore a Kate Spade backpack, because f–k it, she’s going to bring backpacks back too, Snake Fam. While you can’t see it in these photos, trust that Taylor is also wearing her “J” pendant necklace, which is the signal that she wants us to know that she’s still with Joe Alwyn. She wasn’t wearing the necklace the other day, and rumors swirled that Joe and Tay had broken up. No. Trust that she’ll let us know when they break up.
As I mentioned yesterday, Tuesday was the two-year anniversary of Kim Kardashian dropping The Receipts. The Snake Fam decided to celebrate their Snake Queen by flooding Kim Kardashian’s social media with snake emojis (HOW ORIGINAL) and demanding that Kim “apologize” to Taylor. Wow, Snake Fam. Still salty, huh?

Her boots are to remind people that she’s still ~edgy. Hot Topic Taylor is still emo, even though she started to resort back to her old style.

Haha the trick is you can still wear socks with those kinds of boots. I usually do for my ankle boots. I just wear ankle socks.

She looks like she’s lost some weight on this tour, but she looks very healthy, not VS skinny like she did a few years ago. Her hair also looks less fried. Take away the backpack, and from the knees up, she looks great.

They are rather Herman Muensterish. The romper is ridiculous unless you’re 12 or under. The neckline looks as if it’s too tight, choking her, and the crotch also seems to be riding up. She put a lot of effort to be pap’d in such a fugly outfit. Maybe she’s mad she didn’t get any noms! Look what you made me wear….Ha!!
Herman would bristle at the tugging crotch, and opt just to wear the Hot Topic boots, much to his wife’s glee.

I love little summer outfits, cute sandals, but the fit, the pattern, everything is wrong. She never really was a fashionista. I hate rompers. I mean, come on, at my age, I’m all about easy peeing access and a romper is just not conducive to that.
I’m under 30 and I am not a fan. I tried one on by accident one day (thought I’d grabbed a cute dress to try on) and I ALMOST liked it. But it was 100% a fluke and I look incredibly awkward in every other one I tried. And I don’t want to have to strip down just to pee.
But I do like the pattern of her romper. I’d like it in a dress. Or just as a top.

With all the money she has, you’d think she could afford a decent stylist. Her clothing choice is so childish. I might be seriously late in the game here, but since when did this woman have a bigger chest? I always recalled she was flat chested. Did she get implants for her new boyfriend? Don’t get me started on those boots. She has to be 6 feet tall already and those heals make her 3-4 inches taller. I guess she wants to look down on as many people as she can. OK, rant over.
I can’t remember precisely when she got them new boobs but that was way before joe. I think it was around the great Tiddlebanging, or was it the new ass? I’m losing track with all the enhancements.
She’s had 3 boob jobs. She had a subtle one towards the end of her Red era, then went bigger with very, very obvious round implants just before 1989 promo started. Around about a year ago she switched out those implants for a much more natural shape, but kept the size.
I don’t remember them ever being subtle. They were small but not subtle. She had such a small frame when she got them, they were “bolt-on” looking from the get go. I remember her increasing the size to ridiculous proportions after she and Calvin broke up. They look good now though, at least when they’re covered up. The extra weight suits her.
ETA: I googled some photos and a lot of places are using pictures of her from the 2015 Billboard Awards as the before photo lol she was wearing that white jumpsuit and so clearly had them at that point. I guess they were subtle enough for a lot of people not to notice them? They looked SO fake to me in those pictures.
I’m six foot tall and enjoy wearing heels…it has nothing to do with looking down on people. Just working with what I have.
Taylor is the same height as I am and I might edge her a little. She is 5’10.

I mean…she can’t really help being tall. My mother’s 5’11”. She still wore heels because she enjoyed them and it was fashionable. Of everything to criticize her about, I’m not going to get on her for that one when heels are considered part of the red carpet regimen as it is.

Everything about this is bad. The romper looks tacky as hell on her because she doesn’t have the edge/quirky/funkiness to pull it off. The red lip doesn’t work with this. The hairstyle is about 10 years outdated. The boots… those boots are the physical embodiment of 2018. Trash on fire.

I saw staged Papp photos of her on the beach, in addition to the large boobs, she looks like she can’t 10-15 pounds. It looked great, maybe less calories burned to when not on tour. Eh, I think she looks great. Yes, the boots are heavy and hot looking, but like no one has ever sacrificed comfort for fashion. She appears to have gained some weight and kept it, looks toned and her tour is pretty darn good.

I find it interesting that some of her better (more adult) songs lately have been given to other artists. Little Big Town and Sugarland have both recorded TS songs that aren’t middle school angst and done well on the charts.
No, she has lost weight recently, if you look at some pictures taken 2 months ago you will see her legs and hips looking fuller. Now her legs look smaller.
I think it would look cuter as a dress, but as far as rompers go, this isn’t god awful. I’ve never understood boots in the summer, though. I can’t stand having sweaty feet. A flat might have worked better.

I used to wear casual rompers a few years ago but I wouldn’t wear as a real outfit again. They were easy with child wrangling but now I save them for poolside or the beach. I had a maternity one but when I look at the few photos of me wearing it, I laugh at how stupid I looked. Like Humpty Dumpty’s sister.
They look cute on teenagers, college students, and little girls. I don’t like them for someone pushing 30. I am all for youthful dressing and flouting rules but as I mature I prefer to see women dress with authority.
