Ivanka Trump says her ‘low point’ was seeing all of those children in cages

President Donald Trump hosts the White House Sports and Fitness Day

This is just a quick one – Ivanka Trump did a “conversation” with Axios Newsmakers today, and it aired on CSPAN. She was asked about a number of things, like whether she believes the press is an enemy of the American people, which is what her father claims. Ivanka apparently laughed and said “No, I do not” think that the press is the enemy. When asked about the “low point” of her time in the White House, this is what Ivanka said:

With many children have yet to be unified with their parents, Ivanka Trump broke her silence on family separations at the US-Mexico border, saying Thursday that the news “was a low point” during her time in the White House.

“That was a low point for me as well. I felt very strongly about that and I am very vehemently against family separation and the separation of parents and children so I would agree with that sentiment. Immigration is incredibly complex as a topic. Illegal immigration is incredibly complicated.”

“I am the daughter of an immigrant, my mother grew up in communist Czech Republic, but we are a country of laws. She came to this country legally and we have to be very careful about incentivizing behavior that puts children at risk of being trafficked, at risk of entering this country with coyotes or making an incredibly dangerous journey alone. These are not easy issues, these are incredibly difficult issues and like the rest of the country, I experienced them actually in a very emotional way.”

[From CNN]

She’s senior advisor to the president, her father. She could have done something. She didn’t. Instead, she posted happy-family images of her children while the country was freaking out about the children being caged and drugged and traumatized by the state. She’s an awful person who shrugs about sh-t that she could actually change. And then she talks about being “a nation of laws” like that means it’s totally okay to traumatize and abuse children because their parents committed a MISDEMEANOR. Just wait until her children are taken away from her when she’s thrown in jail.

This is what she tweeted when there was wall-to-wall news coverage of the caged children. F–k this feckless C-U-Next-Tuesday.

    Bitch……please.

    • Jan90i067 says:

No, FECKLESS C*NT take a seat! (Bitch is waaaay too polite).

I just (involuntarily) saw a clip of her speaking in this interview. Seems she lost the breathless baby voice now. But the sight of her made me stabby!!

If she’s “so concerned”, why isn’t she out there DOING something about it? Leading demonstrations? Hello? Bueller? Bueller???

I, for one, want to see her in stainless bracelets and an orange jumpsuit. Her and that whole band of Complicit, Colluding, Crooks!

    • minx says:

I love that Kaiser keeps using that alien head shot of her….so unflattering.

    • Char says:

Trying to make people feel sorry for her out of a tragedy she helped carv it’s cruel af. She and her family are made of the same shit Hitler was.

      • Stacy says:

Exactly…They are cold blooded and calculating. The truth of the matter is that by separating the children from their parents, they could charge per child’s head, daily, and make more profit for their (E.g. Betsy Devos’.. etc) private detention centers. It’s actually less costly for tax payers to keep the families together, and to deport them together, but you know, they have to fill up those children’s prisons. Ivanka undoubtedly knew what was going on, I mean, they’re both advisors and her husband was responsible for the admin’s business plans. They always have an excuse, a conflation with the actual policy, and an alibi for their actions but behind every action is a self-profit scheme. This happened on their watch. THEY ARE VERY SICK PEOPLE. I HOPE THE TRUTH COMES TO LIGHT, and history looks down on them in shame as they deserve to be.

      • Lightpurple says:

@ Stacy, Jared and Ivanka also have financial interests in the private prison industry and I don’t think the contracts were put out to bid.

  2. whatWHAT? says:

“was”? it’s still going on, you feckless C*NT.

  3. girl_ninja says:

She has no low point. Just like her father Agent Orange, the gutter is too high for her.

  4. minx says:

Don’t get me started on this one.

    • AMA1977 says:

I am astounded by the number of people like this b*tch who have no compassion for other mothers. They love their kids as much as you do, Complicit!! They walked for days from placed rife with gang violence, through treacherous deserts and perilous routes traversed by dangerous criminals to give their precious children a shot at a better life!! Think about what it would take for you to do that, and know how much love these families have for their children. And YOUR GARBAGE FATHER is separating these precious souls from their moms and dads in MY NAME without MY CONSENT. It makes me weep. “A country of laws” is the new “bad people on both sides.” Completely unacceptable. A country of laws means that we do NOT commit staggering human rights violations on the southern border for the commission of a misdemeanor. FFS!!!! She makes me stabby and yelly.

  5. Melly says:

This c*nt can shut her mouth. So sick of her bullsh!t. If she was really upset then she should DO something. She’s not an average citizen, SHE WORKS IN THE WHITE HOUSE.

  6. Beth says:

Too little, too late. Princess was supposed to be in the White House to keep her daddy under control, and she couldn’t have failed worse. Get lost, bitch! (giggles and laughter)

    • Clare says:

Bullshit. She tried to sell herself as the voice of reason, but she has always been there to make $$ and nothing else. F her. Hope her and her husband both rot in prison, alongside daddy dearest, but its unlikely.

    • Lightpurple says:

No, she was supposed to be there to steal our tax money and use the office to shore up international contacts for Trump businesses while make Daddy palatable to moderates who believed her marketing that Nagini would control Daddy because, as John Oliver said, she looks like she smells nice. There is absolutely no evidence that Nagini disagrees with anything Orange Voldy says or does. She fully supports him and is an extremely active participant in shaping his policies.

      • Tiffany :) says:

Yes, she is just as big of a con artist as her father. Her primary function is to loot the taxpayers and make international deals for the family. Her secondary function is to soften the image of the administration’s inhumane policies.

  7. MCV says:

Are all the members of this family psychopaths? What kind of person would think posting that photo was okay? They have 0 empathy but like for real.

  8. Jenns says:

She’s trying to protect her brand. That’s it. She doesn’t give a sh*t about those children.

    • Jan90i067 says:

Of course. As the walls are coming in closer and closer, she’s trying to distance herself, bit by bit. IT AIN’T WORKING FECKLESS C*UNT! WE STILL SEE YOU! (I will always love Sam Bee for that name!)

    • Lightpurple says:

And her brand took a hard hit. She’s now using our tax dollars and all the White House social media accounts to rehabilitate herself

    • Tiffany :) says:

      Yes, 100% truth.

  9. Cerys says:

The whole Trump presidency is a low point.

    • lucy2 says:

It seriously will go down as one of the darkest times in US history, and that’s saying a lot.

  10. Jaded says:

I want to see that entire f*cking family in shackles and orange onesies being frog-marched into jail. I want them tarred and feathered and stuck into stocks in the town square where people can throw rotten food at them. I want them to be stuck in a jail cell and forced to watch non-stop video of little kids hysterical at being forcibly torn from their parents and stuffed into cages and sleeping on floors. They can all rot in h*ll.

Can you tell I haven’t had coffee yet?

  11. Lightpurple says:

The NEWS COVERAGE was the low point, not the separations. Daddy himself said she was upset about the optics. She, Jared and DeVos profited financially from the policy. She posted that damn Perfect Aryan Mother dog whistle picture when the news broke, just as she posted her perfect, scantily clad desirable wife, with Jared groping her ass, the night the news of the Muslim ban broke with images of distraught women in hijab who had spent hours on airplanes. She had no trouble with the separations until her carefully crafted image took a hard hit. She is now relentlessly doing damage control, taking credit for the Perkins Act, which is from 1984, and pushing her “paid parental leave policy,” which would steal from Social Security, hurt the parents when they become disabled or ready to retire, and most importantly, and this is the part that is overlooked, end FMLA as we know it, limiting it to married parents of newborns, and allowing employers to fire people who need leave time to care for a five year old with leukemia, a teen with scoliosis, a spouse with MS, an elder with dementia or their own injuries from an accident. And the White House Social media accounts are all being used to promote her as some sort of angel. She is violating 5 USC 3110 daily, she is robbing us blind, she is evil to the core.

  12. adastraperaspera says:

That’s funny, Ivanka–my “low point” is seeing you outside of a cage.

    • Leigh-Klein says:

Probably too late to say this but what does a “fashion designer” have to offer the President in the role of special advisor? What world-stage experience does she have? What political experience does she have? None, nothing, squat. If she only knew how many people think she’s just ridiculous.

  13. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

    Feckless AND feculent.

  14. Liz version 700 says:

Do her kids even know who she is? In every photo I see they look like they are just so disengaged from her. She only seems to look at them when the camera is on. She is just an empty shell. Evil and empty.

    • Lightpurple says:

She wrote in one of her books that she spends, on average, one hour a day with them. Not an hour each but total. The older boy seems to be the one who resents her the most and they rarely use him in their propaganda photos. In yesterday’s pictures, he clearly needed to pee but neither parent could read the signs. Her kids are being raised by nannies from China, who don’t have security clearances but have full access to the home computers she uses to send & receive White House related emails and documents

      • Liz version 700 says:

Omg Lightpurple I spend more time with my nieces and nephews than she spends with her kids. I shouldn’t be surprised but this family is worse and worse.

  15. Ferdinand says:

And just yesterday one of the caged kids died “shortly after” being released in Texas.
Cause of death is probably something he caught in the concentration camp. I mean, ICE detention. #Sad

  16. why? says:

I don’t understand why CNN keeps giving Rudy, Ivanka, Sarah, and Kellyanne platforms to spew their propaganda. If it was such a low point for her, why wasn’t she marching to the tent cities and detention centers with the Democrat leaders? Where was her outrage about 1 and 5 year olds being forced to defend themselves in courts? Where was her outrage when the 6 year old girl had to sign a statement saying that she is responsible for staying away from the person who raped her? Where is her outrage that the Dotard’s administration missed the deadline to return the kids and tried to distract by leaking that Cohen was going to tell Mueller that the Dotard knew about the meeting before it happened? Ivanka just seems so empty. She says words, but her words don’t really translate into actions. Ivanka is simply reading from the script that Stephen Miller wrote for her. Notice how she emphasizes that her mother came here legally and that immigrants are the ones putting their kids in danger?

Did she really make a reference to illegal immigration? This isn’t illegal immigration. It’s people seeking asylum and that’s not illegal. The reporter should have stopped the interview right then and there. Why is it so hard for these reporters to do the right thing?

Am I missing something? How exactly did Ivanka suffer because her mother was an immigrant?

  17. Jan says:

I can not adequately describe how much I hate this witch and her entire lying family.

  18. Umila says:

    Whatever you say, Serena Joy.

    • Pandy says:

      Serena Joy is right.

    • Killjoy says:

      Bingo.

      *ppoilerish alert*

Except, I felt a twinge of compassion for Serena Joy as she realized she wasn’t even going to accomplish the thing she set out to do, and at least SJ made a sacrifice. Complicit Barbie would never.

  19. raincoaster says:

To quote Ashley Feinberg: Um, guess who ELSE it was a low point for?

  20. lucy2 says:

    F off, Complicit Barbie.

  21. Harryg says:

Oh poor poor poor her. Poor her who had to hear about it and feel bad and suffer. Poor her.
    Moron.

  22. D says:

Her veneers are very horsey and her heart is an old raisin found in a toddlers car seat, coated with Cheerios dust
