Cardi B gave birth to baby Kulture about five or six weeks ago. She obviously had to cancel a lot of her plans, like her tour with Bruno Mars and various one-off performances and appearances. I’m a little bit surprised that she didn’t cancel her appearance at MTV’s VMAs, because… I mean, people would have understood. If she wants to take six months off to spend time with her baby, people would understand completely. But no, Cardi still got up, got dressed to the nines and presented an award. She looked amazing too – the amethyst dress was by Nicolas Jebran, and she accented it with emerald jewelry. Love an entire look of jewel tones!
Karlie Kloss in Elie Saab. I actually love this dress and love her whole look. I have no idea why she was there, but she looked great.
If Blake Lively is invited to your event, Blake Lively will come to your event and she will overdress. This tuxedo is Ralph & Russo. It’s wrong for the VMAs and it’s crazy that she wore this in the middle of August.
Anna Kendrick also wore Ralph & Russo. I hate this soooooo hard.
Amber Rose went to the VMAs as some kind of devilish dominatrix, which seems on-brand for her. I mean… it does feel too “costume party” but she explained during the pre-show that she was doing some kind of homage to Madonna. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m not particularly a fan of Blake Lively but her outfit along with Anna Kendrick’s looked like a direct advertisement to their new movie, A Simple Favor. Their characters dress like that in the movie… Blake just did an all white version…. it’s Meh.. but I kinda got it as soon as they walked on stage.

Blake really does look silly, and just terrible. Ugly hairdo (and the color is putrid), her makeup/face looks awful (I’ve never understood why she’s considered some kind of beauty–I think she’s the personification of plain), and as Kaiser said that heavy overly-formal outfit is just strange in August.
Anna Kendrick–another big UGH. I also don’t get her appeal. There’s absolutely nothing appealing, attractive, or interesting about her; I don’t think she’s a good actress. Same as Blake: why is she at the VMAs?

Blake Lively has been wearing all these trouser suits lately and while I get that it’s nice to sometimes experiment outside your comfort zone, she looks really uncomfortable in each one. She’s way more comfortable in Bombshell mode, imo. She ain’t no Rachel Evan Wood. With the trouser suits it just looks like the clothes are wearing her; just way too costumey

Cardi looks so gorgeous– that I gasped. I don’t like Blake or Anna’s look, and they both look like they are not feeling it as well! I am with everyone, concerning Amber’s outfit, that is “how does she sit down?” She looks so uncomfortable just standing there!

Cardi B looks great and she is tons of fun…but she’s no where near “natural”. She has breast implants and got injections into her bum (that apparently leaked for days). She’s open about these things.

Cardi B’s dress is terrible. It would’ve been better if it was a proper gown with no split or without major cleavage. Now it looks like her left boob is making a run for it and with the split up to her babymaker it makes the whole thing look cheap. Same goes for Karlie Kloss: boobs or legs but both (and in her case with a double split, for godsake) it looks cheap. The other outfits also look terrible and I’m not even going to start with Amber Rose. It’s not yet halloween, darling.
