Penelope Cruz had, hands down, the funniest E! Red Carpet interview with Giuliana Rancic. Penelope was nominated as part of American Crime Story: Gianni Versace. Penelope played Donatella Versace and the entire interview was about Donatella Versace and how much she respects Donatella and loves her and all of that… and then at the end, Giuliana asked Penelope who she was wearing. The answer? “Chanel.” I’m still laughing. As for the Chanel look… it’s typical Chanel. Overworked, feathered, a bit tedious.
Poppy Delevingne in Giambattista Valli. I don’t like this… at all. The color is bad, the design isn’t great and can we please stop making stuff taffeta gowns with giant ruffles? Please and thank you.
Yara Shahidi in Gucci. I feel like Yara is trying to get people to see her as “growing up” and more womanly rather than girlish. But she still looks like a baby to me! I think they were trying to rescue this dress from looking “too sexy” by adding that giant floral piece to the middle of her chest. It just looks bad and poorly designed though.

I agree? If you remove the back of the dress, basically, I really like the colour (on her) and shape of it as seen from the front.
It’s just the side view, and all those ruffles, that are making me dislike it.

Penelope’s dress looks like a giant feathery tassel. I don’t know why I find this so funny, maybe because my mom has a fondness for tassels.

Um, I kinda love the mint green. Maybe it was horrible in person but there’s something so over the top and flamboyant about it, so MUCH on so many different levels, that it’s winning my heart over.
