I get more excited about Captain Marvel with every trailer I see. Cannot wait. And I will definitely be skipping the motherf’in liar’s “speech” tonight.

Kate Mara was hands down the worst dressed at the Golden Globes – that dress will give me nightmares for some time to come.
It was such a horrible look overall. Her dress looked painful and her makeup was so unflattering.

Brie is very bland but I liked Infinity War and I understand CM will save the world in End Game so I will catch this one for context.
I will definitely watch this since it is tied to the Avengers: End Game but I am not feeling Brie. I can’t think of anyone else right now that would be better, but still not her.

She got some kind of laser treatment if my memory is correct. She mentioned years ago that she was using Proactiv, but that what had really helped was the laser or whatever treatment it was, so her coming out now to shill for Proactiv really has me confused.
I really like this trailer. There is something about Larson that I think is really going to shine in this. In just a few little moments here, her expressions, her body language aren’t the typical “comic book super hero” moves. I think that made the first trailer a bit standoffish, but the more we see of her Captain Marvel, the more I like. Bring it on!
If your “brave” story is acne, than you’ve had a pretty good life. Omg, cancel the Kardashians already.
Brie still seems like a poor fit for this, which is disappointing given how good Marvel typically is at casting.
Even in the DC universe, Gal Gadot — not an Oscar winning actress by any means — absolutely embodies Wonder Woman in every way. She is perfect in that role. Brie IS an Oscar winning actress, but I fear action films aren’t her forte. Her delivery is stilted and very uncomfortable to watch in the trailers. I’ll see it regardless, but I’m not hyped.
I am so tired of all this Marvel stuff they keep throwing at us. Husband and I are, like, six movies behind and I just don’t know that I care. I have been overdosed on Marvel. Are there Cole’s/Cliff’s Notes to help people follow the never ending story line … LMAO
I feel the same and am so behind but I was surprised to enjoy Infinity War when I streamed it out of boredom.
