I watched the Hulu Fyre Fest doc last night and thought it was interesting. Provided good info and I liked that they had an interview with the guy who “threw” the festival/scam.
Just a heads up for anyone going to watch to Netflix one.. it’s executive produced by a company involved as a defendant in the civil suit about Fyre Festival. The Hulu doc points it out at the very end of the film (which also partially explains why they surprise dropped it yesterday ahead of Netflix’s) and it definitely gave me pause. Will be watching the Netflix one but with a much more critical eye now.
ETA: Hulu paid for the interview with the guy who threw the festival so there’s also an ethical question there. I just found Netflix’s issue to be bigger lol
