Donald Trump believes he’s the first president to show people the Oval Office

U.S. President Trump hosts a naturalization ceremony in the Oval Office

Donald Trump’s approval numbers are in the toilet. Nancy Pelosi owns his dinosaur butt. All his cronies keep getting indicted. Before the three weeks is up on the continuing resolution, I’m sure there will be many, many shenanigans about the budget. But we’re not talking about that at this very moment. The Washington Post has an article about what Donald Trump is like when he has guests in the White House. Because he’s a bigly moron who can’t sit still, read or show complex reasoning about any subject, he spends most of his time in the WH just showing people around, like a tour guide. The problem is that Trump doesn’t know anything about the history of the White House, and he just lies and brags the entire time. You can read the full article here. The weirdest highlights:

He loves to bring up Bill Clinton & Monica Lewinsky: When President Trump brings senators, New York friends or other guests to the Oval Office, he occasionally opens a door near his desk summoning them to follow. Flashing a grin, he wants his friends to see where Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky reportedly began their sexual encounters…Three other people who have embarked on a tour with Trump said he made similar comments regarding the former president and White House intern, laughing and making facial expressions. The subject often leads to lengthy, sometimes crass conversations, aides said.

He tells lies about Barack Obama: The president has also claimed to guests, without evidence, that his private dining room off the Oval Office was in “rough shape” and had a hole in the wall when he came into the West Wing and that President Barack Obama used it to watch sports, according to two White House officials and two other people who have heard him discuss the dining room. “He just sat in here and watched basketball all day,” Trump told a recent group, before saying he upgraded Obama’s smaller TV to a sprawling, flat-screen one, the four people said. An Obama White House official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because Obama does not generally respond to Trump’s remarks, said that there was no hole in the wall and that Obama rarely worked in the room and did not watch basketball there.

Trump thinks he’s the first person to ever allow people into the Oval Office: The former Obama aide said the 44th president often had friends, family members of staff members and others for White House visits, contrary to what Trump tells people on tours. “No one had ever seen the Oval Office!” the current president claimed during a recent meeting with business executives, before bringing them into the room, according to two people present.

Trump loves showing off the residence & the Lincoln Bedroom: A George W. Bush aide said he rarely took people into the residence, largely because his family was there. The Obama aide said he only took close friends into the residence — “not D.C. officials,” the aide said. Trump, by contrast, has summoned hundreds, if not thousands, of people upstairs, aides said.

Trump loves TVs and shiny things: He is obsessed with the chandeliers in the White House and called the main staircase “beautiful, just really luxurious,” a person who heard the comments said. He brags about how many televisions there are in the West Wing and his fancy system of toggling between channels made for him — he calls it a “Super TiVo,” according to White House aides and Sims’s book.

There’s a lot more, about how Trump doesn’t know anything about art and he has to rely on one guy to tell him that the artwork is good. Trump also hated the toilets so he had them replaced, which is something I didn’t want to know. He loves to bulls–t about former presidents, and he seems to hate Ulysses S. Grant for some reason. The Obama-basketball story is really… something. I’ve always, always felt like Trump considered the White House such a “dump” which needed “extensive renovations” simply because the Obamas were the previous tenants.

So much enrages me about this POS, but the way he lies about Obama is always particularly racist and despicable. Can you even imagine Obama “watching basketball all day” in the Oval Office? He worked constantly and had the physique to show for it. As usual Dump is projecting his lazy, trashy habits onto someone else.

Here’s first person documentation of what President Obama did in his private dining room, courtesy of Pete Souza. Six photos, so scroll.
It’s time for the straitjacket and commitment for Prez LardAss. The only damage to the WH is having this criminal and his cronies squatting in it for 2+ years. I think it should be razed and rebuilt, because their nasty stench will never be eradicated.

Ppl in the comments are saying Invd 1 probably thought the DOOR was the “hole in the wall.” 😄

The Orange Shitstain will NEVER have anything good that came to Obama naturally, deservedly, and/or ethically (smarts, looks, lovely & loving wife/fam, RESPECT, THE OFFICE HE NOW HOLDS, etc). He can’t buy it or bully for it, and that will irk him to the (not-early-enough) grave.

Imagine trying to maintain an appetite while seated across from Mitch McConnell. Love the shot of Barack and Nancy. Thanks for sharing, Jerusha. Sigh. So bittersweet…..

      • minx says:

I gave my husband the beautiful Pete Souza Obama book for his birthday last year.

      • Rapunzel says:

Freaking LOVE Pete Souza. Just bought a signed copy of his book, Shade at B & N. Best money ever spent.

      • Jerusha says:

@minx. That book is wonderful. I pre-ordered, so I also received extra framable pictures. Also got the Shade book, which is great. So many examples of Obama towering over the mean, small, petty, trashy, ignorant trump.

      • lucy2 says:

Pete Souza did a wonderful job documenting the Obama presidency, and now does good work combating nonsense like this.

      • Snowflake says:

I got that book too guys, last week at Barnes and Nooble!

      • Anastasia says:

I couldn’t even see a TV in that room. The Orange Turd is truly insane.

    • AnnaKist says:

This thing is so envious, bitter and completely obsessed with Mr Obama, because, despite all assurances to the contrary by his many arse-lickers, he knows – he KNOWS – he’ll never be in Obama’s league, orbit or thoughts, no matter how much money, infamy or sycophants he acquires. It twists his guts into knots, and there’s not a bloody thing he can do about it.

  2. TheBees says:

    This baby man is sickening!

  3. tw says:

Right, Obama who diligently read, worked, wrote letters and snacked on almonds, just sat watching basketball all day. GFY you fat, lazy, pasty, racist POS.

  4. Incredulous says:

Donald Trump just lies and brags all the time? *gasp*

  5. AnnaKist says:

This loon probably thinks the earth is flat, too… 🙄

  6. Deedee says:

It’s obviously all transference, so at this point, it doesn’t bother me so much because I know he’s talking about himself on another level (which, when you think of it makes a lot of sense, because everything is about him in his egotistic POV). So, bill and Monica—he’s getting off on it just fantasizing about it; maybe has Melania reenact it it; pbamacwatching basketball all day—his watching fox and frenimies and snl when Alec b is imitating him on his biglier tv, etc. all I can say is that that place needs to be cleaned with 95% HCl when he gets canned from office.

  7. Kitten says:

Never mind that basketball games aren’t actually on during the day but sure, Jan.

    • Lightpurple says:

@Adastraphera captured my first thought that Trump was the first to show the Oval Office to Russian spies.

@Kitten got my second thought about basketball scheduling. It is not on all day or even every day. There’s an off season.

My third thought goes to his sick, crude fixation on the sex lives of others. Of course, he’s making crass comments about Monica. He can’t think of Peter Sztrok without referring to Lisa Page as a sex toy.

  8. adastraperaspera says:

Well, he’s the first president to show Russians the Oval Office. I’m still outraged by that photo of him yucking it up with those snakes Lavrov and Kislyak!!

  9. Onemoretime says:

He is the epitome of trailer trash regardless of how much money his father had. Money can’t buy class or apparently a brain because this buffoon sure is lacking in the common sense department. Can’t read, comprehension skills don’t exist and his supports are his mirror image. Idiot number 1!!

  10. Digital Unicorn says:

Nail the chandeliers down as you know he’ll take them with him.

  11. Chef Grace says:

Now I am trying to picture what a trump dumper, aka toilet, would look like.
    🚽💩

  12. paranormalgirl says:

He’ll try to take the toilets with him: “hey, I replaced them, I get to keep them.”

  13. Christine says:

So he snarks about Obama watching basketball all day then brags that he put a bigger TV in there? Ok.

  14. SamC says:

Ummm no. I, a nobody in the world of politics, etc., have been in the Oval Office. Thanks to a friend who was friends of George and Laura, got tag along on their visit to the West Wing (and while I’m not a W fan, was a very cool experience). Also got to peek in the WH dining room during the Obama years and yeah, the only hole in the wall was the door. It is, however, remarkably underwhelming. Lovely, but small, low ceilings, and in a maze of the small rooms/narrow hallways that make up the West Wing.

  15. Va Va Kaboom says:

You nailed it with the point that Trump probably wouldn’t have called the White House a “dump” if George and Laura Bush were his immediate predecessors. I’d also add that Trump is a textbook case of transference. Literally every disparaging thing he says about others has at least correlation to him and his circle. He claims Obama watched basketball in the dining room all day as a way to disparage him… but we all know he watches cable news constantly and he upgraded the tv Obama supposedly wasted so much time watching. Why would you get a bigger tv if you were trashing him over watching said tv?

    • lucy2 says:

      Total transference.
And all the Bill/Monica stuff is probably just jealousy because no woman in their right mind would touch him. He can’t even get his own wife to hold his hand.

Does anybody watch the series McMafia?
I just started watching the first episode. I’m intrigued, fascinated. So much so, that I neded to press pause and advertise it on here, to you guys. It came out January 2018 already! I don’t understand how I could have missed this.
It’s kind of a Thriller series about how this Russian Oligarch Gangstering thing works, I think?
The series is a BBC Co-Production. It is inspired by the book McMafia: A Journey Through the Global Criminal Underworld (2008) by journalist Misha Glenny.
Check it out . Would love to hear your thoughts!
    Ok, back to Alex Godman.

  17. Original Jenns says:

Why does he hate Grant? What possible reason does he have to hate a president from over 100 years ago?

… (Wikipedia) During the American Civil War Grant led the Union Army to victory over the Confederacy with the supervision of President Abraham Lincoln. During the Reconstruction Era President Grant led the Republicans in their efforts to remove the vestiges of Confederate nationalism, racism, and slavery… Grant stabilized the post-war national economy, created the Department of Justice, and prosecuted the Ku Klux Klan. He appointed African-Americans and Jewish-Americans to prominent federal offices…

    • lucy2 says:

That was my first thought too – well he defeated the Confederacy, so…

    • H says:

While Grant did all those things, his administration was filled with nepotism and corruption. I think Bigly identifies with that which is why he hates Grant.

  18. Jamielle says:

Darth Marmalade is a malignant narcissist and sociopath who also happens to be a grotesque, disgusting and dimwitted a**hole. Add the fact that he has no talent, skills, looks, or discernable goodness…bam, he’s a triple threat. The trifecta of turd.

  19. PhillyGal says:

Probably put in gaudy gold toilets like he has in his Trump Tower residence.

  20. Anastasia says:

Says the guy who watches Fox TV all day. I follow @ddale8 on Twitter, and he always publishes Trump’s daily schedule, and today Trump is going to have lunch with the VP. That’s literally the only thing on his agenda. Most days the schedule is pretty empty. Obama worked his ass off, and Trump knows it.
