I wanted to title this post “Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus went pillow shopping, does he seem like the type of guy who would enjoy that?” but it won’t fit in our format. That’s my question, though. Does Affleck seem like he likes shopping? I actually think he might be. Ben and Lindsay were seen out together on Sunday in Santa Monica getting lunch and then going to Bed Bath & Beyond, where they bought pillows. Affleck was photographed out all weekend doing stuff with his kids, he took them to lunch on Saturday and then Sunday he was seen helping Samuel practice baseball (he’s also his little league coach) and was out with Lindsay. Saturday Night Live, where she works as a producer, has been on a break for a couple of weeks so she has more time to spend in LA. Here’s more on Ben’s outing with Lindsay:
The pair were seen laughing as they enjoyed lunch at Kreation in Santa Monica. They were later spotted buying new pillows at Bed Bath & Beyond, with Shookus at one point showing something on her phone to the cashier as they both laughed.
The pair have been spotted together more frequently in recent months. The couple attended the New York City premiere of Affleck’s new Netflix film Triple Frontier in early March. While they didn’t walk the red carpet together, they were seen walking out side-by-side in the snowy weather.
So Lindsay is nesting in LA I guess. Remember how Ben cheated on Lindsay with that Playboy model when she decided not to move to LA because he was drinking too much? I guess she’s sort-of moving to LA when she’s not working. In December, 2017 we heard that Ben rented $28k a month apartment for her in New York. I wonder if she was still staying there and if he kept paying for it when they broke up for a few months. I bet he was, and I bet he enjoys shopping too and doesn’t mind browsing BB&B for pillows, towels and sheets. Now that she’s Ben’s official, do you think she stays with him full time when she’s in LA? I’m really asking. I vaguely remember hearing, before Ben and Lindsay broke up last time, that she was considering renting a place in LA. Like perhaps she doesn’t like Ben’s pillows and wants her own or maybe she’s outfitting her own space. They seem like the type of couple who would keep separate places. I’m sure 10 people will now tell me the times and dates she was photographed outside his mansion.

I know that last pic looks like he’s checking out her ass, but I think he’s either looking at the writing on her shirt or wondering why in God’s name she’s wearing tights as pants and with mules, no less.
I think that’s Shookus cut off to the far left and he’s turning to say something to her. The search for other photos in the series commences…

Lindsay was probably showing the cashier her coupon. It’s Bed Bath & Beyomd. You know she has one in her emails. Don’t play.
And I’m with @Enn, Ben is reading her shirt and wondering WTF she’s wearing to church.
Other than that, I’ve got nothing. They deserve each other. She was the last mistress standing. Let her enjoy being legit.
I learned a long time ago, to carefully analyze a situation because it’s human nature to believe you are special and that the same situation ( guy in this case, or job) is going to have a different outcome for you than your predecessors, but usually it doesn’t. It’s hard to be honest with yourself but it works out better.

I guess, but I’m assuming it’s part time. Her job and her kid are in NYC as far as we know (I think?). I do wonder how Benny-boy will do with a long distance relationship when it’s an actual relationship, and not sneaking around behind your wife’s back. He’s got a self-destructive streak a mile long, so let’s see how he self-sabotages this one.

She is not Lindsay. I remember that photo because I found it strange. It was published some days ago, he was at the children’s school and the photo agency had this comment for it: «Ben Affleck still has that Wandering Eye. Ben Affleck may have gotten back together with girlfriend Lindsay Shookus but the bachelor appears to still have that wondering eye as he takes a second look at a female».
What I don’t understand is how she can be ok with spending several weeks away from her own child, who’s still very young, I think. Under 3 I’m pretty sure? I share custody of my nine-year-old with his father (my ex lives less than a mile away) and never go more than a week away from him. I ended a long-distance relationship I was in a couple years after my divorce because there was no way for us to be in the same city and there was no way I could be away from my child.
I’m not a big fan of mom-shaming and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with traveling and spending time away from your kids. But I don’t know with her…
I agree. I get that not all women are going to feel the same way about motherhood but she spends a lot of time away from her kid for her boyfriend and I seriously side eye that choice.
I side eye her for her choice too. Even if you are a woman not that into motherhood he still wouldn’t be worth the guilt of giving up time with your kid which you can never get back.
I’m sure she appreciates your concern.

Well not a fan of him at all … But he’s looking pretty centered in these photos. So that’s good.
I think she seems the one hesitant to commit… I think she refused to move to LA because Ben was a drunk mess.
Instead of doubling down on Ben and moving in or getting pregnant (like Jennifer Garner would have), she packed her stuff, keyed his car and bounced.
I highly doubt she will ever move in with him full time, she strikes me as having one foot out the door too – she has not given up her life in NYC for him in 5 years, what makes Ben think she will now?
Nice to see Ben out with his children. They clearly love their dad!
I would also be surprised if Lindsay moved out of NY. I do not think she would give up her life in NY. She has lived in NY for a long time & I think she likes living in NY. ( Justin Theroux comes to mind). I do not think Ben would leave LA, either. His children are here & he seems to be parenting with Jen better than ever! Long distance relationships rarely work …
