Everyone I know always love them some Curt Smith, but I was always a Roland Orzabal girl. I couldn’t make up my mind, was it the voice, the hair, the shape of his face but I was all over it.

this sequel, reboot, or whatever (mess) is totally unnecessary. i was fine with drew and the crew and it hasn’t been long enough yet!!! i still believe someone, somewhere still has an original idea in hollywood, please make these movies. i’m so sick of rehashing the past!

People of Color have been putting forth original ideas and THEIR films have been doing quite well, I’ve heard…
It’s been almost 20 years! Two decades is plenty of time in between reboots.
On average, the American viewing audience has a really hard time putting their butts in seats for original movies. It is hard to get angry at studios for going with the cheap investment that already has name recognition. I love originals, small films, and tend to avoid blockbuster type movies…but that isn’t what the majority of movie-goers want to see, unfortunately.

Those were fun movies. They were 70’s campy with modern strong women. I still quote the Justin Theroux character’s “give us the ring”. I can never get the accent right, though.
