Freaky-looking Jon Gosselin on In Touch: ‘I’m tired of being blamed’

GAH! This is the In Touch Weekly cover from hell. What the hell is wrong with Jon Gosselin’s eyes?!? He looks like he’s been on the bender from hell, and In Touch had photoshop the glassiness from his dilated pupils. And what is wrong with “Sad Shiloh”? Anyway, earlier CB gave us all the rundown on all of the girls Jon Gosselin has been bangin’. There’s the daughter of the plastic surgeon, random bar chicas, that psycho maybe-hooker from Star, and now one of his kid’s babysitters. This man is totally disgusting to me, and I really, really hate that he hasn’t kept his word about not conducting his private business in public. Honestly, I barely want to read this “exclusive” interview with Jon, but here goes. Jon is whining, playing the victim, and now he’s “tired of being blamed”. Douchenozzle.

Since Jon & Kate Plus 8 stars Jon and Kate Gosselin announced they were divorcing on June 22, their lives have been turned upside down. Jon’s life has become a circus and he’s been criticized for partying in St. Tropez and in N.Y.’s Hamptons, and for dating two younger women, Hailey Glassman and tabloid reporter Kate Major. “Things have gotten out of control,” Jon tells In Touch in a revealing interview. “Many people think that everything moved too fast, that I was out partying too quickly. But Kate gave up on the marriage last October, and the divorce will be finalized by September 30.” Jon, 32, met with In Touch on August 2 in New York to set the record straight about his marriage, his new girlfriend, how all of the drama is affecting his children and why he’s tired of being blamed.

What is the biggest difference in your life now, compared to a year ago?
Let’s go back to October of last year — that’s when all of this happened. Kate basically came to me out of the blue and said, “I am done. You are going to live your life, and I am going to live my life.” I was like, “What?” I didn’t really know what was going on. When she said that, I was really upset and nervous.
Why did she want to break up?
I think she initiated the split because she wanted a career. Maybe I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, and she was going to move on regardless. I said, “Are you sure about this?”
Did you want to work it out?
Yes, I asked, “What do I have to do to mend the relationship? What did I do wrong?” I was beating myself up about it. So I read a lot of books about personalities, like The Five Love Languages. Throughout the marriage, I felt like my personality had changed a lot. In December, I went to therapy. I asked Kate to come, but she didn’t want to. She said, “If you have a problem, go fix it.”
When did you and Kate start living separate lives?
We went to Utah on January 1. On January 12, she flew back with security and I stayed. That’s when I started to just hang out and meet people, and feel free. Not too many girls, just with my guy friends. I couldn’t do that for nine years. When I came back on the 17th, Kate and I weren’t talking. So I just said, “I’m moving out of the house,” and that was it.
What was your first relationship?
Hailey — it started around May. She is the polar opposite of Kate. It’s really different. I feel good about myself and people see my good qualities. I’m not being put down. If I want to go out with my friends, Hailey says, “Oh, go out.” I’m not used to that. I was used to, “No, no, it’s your fault.” Sometimes I ask Hailey permission, like I used to do with Kate, and she says, “You don’t have to ask permission.” I was used to living like that, and now it’s like a breath of fresh air. You can have a balanced relationship but also spend time with your friends.
How did you fall in love with Hailey?
We started talking and got along well. I started getting really attracted to her, like, on the phone. She really listened to me and took in what I was saying. Then she came back to her parents’ house in May and I went up to see her. We hit it off. It was great. She is amazing.
Kate Major said she was dating you.
I felt like, “Okay, I have a cool new person in New York and we can just go out for dinner.” Then it was a conflict of interest with her work. I have always been true to Hailey.
How are the kids handling the split and all of the drama?
Even though they are young, it still hurts them. They can’t figure it out. They’re like, “Why aren’t they together? Why can’t you hug her?” The other day, Alexis said, “I want you and Mommy to be home together.” And it hurts because it’s not going to happen — and how do you explain that? I just let them know we love them no matter what. It’s hard. I feel like I failed them.
When will you introduce Hailey as your girlfriend to the kids?
I think it would have to be after the divorce is finalized. I can’t just show up with Hailey. I think we all need a little routine in our lives. Right now, it’s helter-skelter. Once there is a routine, we’ll start off slowly, like going out to dinner. We are dealing with eight different personalities, and they will each handle it in different ways. They may never be comfortable.

So he’s sticking with Hailey. I bet Kate Major feels like a chump right about now. She’ll probably go to Star to get her job back. Just for the record, I find both Kate and Jon to be pretty horrible people, but I do buy some of Jon’s story. While I think he’s an idiot who has been bangin’ everything with two legs and a pulse, I do think he’s right about Kate wanting out of the marriage just as much as him. I think the more public Jon has been these past few weeks, the more Kate looks like a victim, which she isn’t.

Here’s Jon in Reading, PA on Monday. Image thanks to INF Photo.

The In Touch photo looks like they Photoshopped it the same way they used to retouch movie posters in the ’50s/’60s, or when they’d add color to old films. Very odd and flat.

  2. Embee says:

His behvior is pretty typical of an immature man who thought it’d be “fun” to start a family and then becomes overwhelmed, stops working and checks out. Kate has her issues but I can completely understand saying “enough is enough” and deciding that if he wasn’t gong to “be there” he needn’t be in the proximity.

His interview is a bunch of bullshit aimed at deflecting the blame (“I wanted therapy”). He is truly despicable–his kids will read that one day! And his comparisons between his wife/the mother of his 8 children and a 23 year old rich-girl, responsibility-free, dropout slut are just laughable. Says more about John than it ever will about Kate.

This little boy is baggage and he likely always will be.

  3. Lee says:

This guy is a joke. What a nice way to divert attention and blame from yourself, by throwing all the blame at your wife and the mother of your children. When are people going to realize that somebody else’s bad behavior does not excuse or negate your own?

  4. Awww... says:

I thought everyone was going to stop talking to the media!?!?
Either In Touch is lying, which that could NEVER be, or this is another d-bag move to say he’s not a d-bag, by acting like a d-bag.

  5. RobN says:

It’s like they agreed to airbrush off 40 pounds but in exchange they gave him a wonky eye. He’s disgusting.

  6. fizXgirl314 says:

damn, does he think he’s redeeming himself by saying he’s in love with that skanky ho? that’s even worse than saying it’s a short term fling… grosssss

oh wow, and the marriage ended in october… poor little schmuck, it must have been a whole 5, 6 months before he started whoring around… what a soldier he must be! shut the eff up… what an idiot…

  7. Ron says:

Who would want to be with this douche? Gross.

  8. the original kate says:

he is a baby-man who needs to grow up.

  9. MSat says:

Remember when both Gosselins said they were not issuing anymore statements or interviews to the media? I guess that didn’t last long. I’ve said it before: Jon was riding high of all the Kate-hate that was fueling his post-separation pussy binge. Now that he is finally being revealed to be a fame-whoring manslut, he doesn’t like it. Too bad, fatso. Take your lumps.

  10. Kerri says:

I always felt sorry for Jon, was never on Team Kate but she is coming out looking like the adult in this one. Nothing is wrong with a strong woman – you just have to be able to handle it, obviously he couldn’t.

By the way, he scores no points for dating the women he has been dating. Nice image for the kids, d-bag!!!

    Team Kate.

  11. CeeJay says:

Oh my God. He read a book!

  12. guilty pleasures says:

    Dear Jon,
Honey, you are not being blamed, you are being judged. People are watching your disgusting behaviour and not liking it so much. The women (usng the term loosely) you are ‘associating’ with are a joke, horrible, horrible people. And do you think they ‘love’ you? What in all that is holy is there to love about you?
Say, I have an ugly, trashy friend who would love to garner 5 mins of notoriety on your dime, want her number? I say notoriety because what you and your icky friends have is not fame, it will not be remembered fondly and with admiration for talent, it will be forgotten when this reality TV machine either dies out (PLEASE) or some new jerks push you out- Heidi and Spencer ring any bells? They are as gon-zo as you will shortly be.

  13. Diane says:

Ratings down, not far enough =)

  14. tamikla says:

I can’t stand either of them! Those poor kids.

  15. Lee says:

You know Kerri, that’s so funny, I was never on team Kate either, I actually used to feel sorry for Jon.

You can’t just say they are both losers, even if they are. In court, it will have to be decided who is the better person to care for the children.

  16. elisabetta says:

He’s so annoying, and such a liar. Remember all the tabloids caught him leaving that teacher Deanna Hummel’s house at 6 in the morning in APRIL. Walk of shame much? I noticed Jon words himself carefully. He says Hailey was his first relationship, fine. But he was banging a bunch of skanks before Hailey too. And he is careful not to deny he slept with Kate Major, he only denies a relationship.

And seriously, saying Hailey is the ‘polar opposite of Kate’ is such a compliment to Kate! Hailey is a drugged up drop out loser, just like Jon. They deserve each other. Gross.

  17. rop says:

To be cliche, Kate had 9 kids and this is proof. No wonder she was/is such a nut.

  18. lin says:

What separated man wouldn’t be out dating?? Just because he gets filmed everywhere he goes on vacation doesn’t mean he doesn’t love his kids. Give the guy a break. He is moving on. Ya gotta kiss a few frogs first. After the box Kate had him in, no wonder he’s in the candy store!! Let’s not forget: he can’t even breathe right, and she checked out. Go Jon, Go!!!

  19. says:

Kate’s family reported this 2 months ago, that it was Kate’s idea to basically end the marriage AFTER she been spending alot of time with that
Steve, the bodyguard. Kate’s family, not Jon’s orginally reported this. Now Kate is buying a condo in the same town 2 miles away from her secret boyfriend.
Kate’s a little harlot and way too full of herself. Too bad the kids will pay for this by not having

  20. BlueSkies says:

He is good looking & exotic. Different.

  21. Catherine says:

Can someone tell me why this man seem to be appealing enough to put him on the cover of a magazine or even to be followed by the paparazzi? I just don’t get it.

  22. Legend says:

He doesn’t look airbrushed, he looks like the cover of one of those old romance novels. Of course, the heroes in those books were actually good looking and not douchebags. Fiction, after all 😉

  23. Pam says:

    You go John!

  24. SchadenFreude says:

I always wonder what viewers would think if Jon was the obsessive compulsive overbearing controlling one & Kate was the more passive “yes, dear” half who got yelled at all the time. Would opinions be any different? Why does the public want to see Jon miserable? I know, I know… just steer clear of the women he’s been picking & interviews like this, and maybe he’d garner more sympathy.

  25. lway says:

So Kate left him in Utah – trusted him to behave himself and to remember that he is a married man with 8 children and the first thing he does is hang out with strange women because he hasn’t done it in like 9 years.

What a loser. Kate is better off without him

John is in the wrong. He dug this hole himself – dumbass

  26. alana says:

He looks like he’s gonna throw up! yuck he’s gross looking. And I agree, he’s a dbag who needs to grow up and Kate is way better off. Making kate look better and better all the time!

  27. Magsy says:

U-G-L-Y you ain’t got no alibi, you ugly, absolutely ugly!
