Having read Lady Gaga’s interviews for years, I feel like she’s a high-maintenance girlfriend. I don’t mean that as insulting or shady, it’s just a statement of fact: Gaga isn’t going to be “the girlfriend” to some more famous guy. She could not subvert her ego for that. She is the star of every relationship, and things will naturally revolve around her and her needs and interests. The funny thing is that ever since Taylor Kinney, she’s gone for such normcore, bland dudes. All of that was yet another reason why I never bought her with Bradley Cooper – it’s true that B-Coop is kind of bland, but he’s also a STAR and she can’t do that. She has to be the star! Anyway, all of that to say, Gaga has a new boyfriend and she wants us to know about him, so let’s talk about him. They’ve apparently been dating since late last year. They just recently became Instagram-official. His name is Michael Polansky and he’s a suit.
Caught in a new romance! Over Super Bowl weekend, Lady Gaga went public with her new boyfriend, tech investor Michael Polansky. According to a source who spent time with the pair, they met through mutual friends.
“They weren’t shy about showing off PDA,” adds the source. “They seemed very happy together.”
Indeed, Gaga and Polansky were spotted sharing a passionate kiss on a balcony in Miami on Saturday, ahead of her AT&T TV Super Saturday Night concert. The next day, the new couple was photographed leaving Hard Rock Stadium Sunday night after the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers.
Polansky is the CEO of the Parker Group, Facebook co-founder Sean Parker’s businesses and charities.
Mutual friends? Gaga’s got a wide circle, she hangs with Oprah and Elton and many people from various charities. Anyway, Gaga wants us to know about her new boyfriend. She wants us to know that she’s not secretly dating Bradley Cooper. Or maybe she was secretly banging Cooper and now this is her revenge. Which reminds me of something else: we haven’t seen B-Coop with anyone post-Irina, right? Hm.

He’s kind of cute. Honestly this type of dude makes sense for Gaga—enough money and success to not be intimidated by her success and money, but also the type of guy where she’ll definitely be the star in the relationship. Same kind of vibe that I got with Rihanna’s former boyfriend, that wealthy businessman, and JLaw’s hubby who is connected but clearly very low key.
