I’ve started working out with the original Jane Fonda workouts and OMG, they really really work. She is truly an icon. And I LOVE THE MUSIC IN THOSE WORKOUTS!!!
Sorry, I needed this in all caps 🙂

oooh great idea! i used to do the cher fitness video in the 90s, but i didn’t have a step so had to use one of my brother’s big thick art coffee table books- needless to say the spine was bent out of shape with my heft pounding on it 🙂

i will google some workouts 🙂

I’ve been saying this for years as a certified Jazzercise instructor! Aerobics is where it’s at for fitness!!! I am also in quarantine and have been doing workouts from the Les Mills On Demand app. I love any workout that is synchronized to music and the LM programs are all excellent! My favorite formats so far are Body Pump (that is easily modifiable with just dumbbells) and CXWorx- their core/strength program. I am also anxious to try BodyAttack which is reminiscent of old school aerobics for me. Working out consistently has kept me from having a psychotic episode and counterbalances the huge amounts of comfort eating and drinking I’ve been doing. Love and health to you All!!

If you like old school workouts check out “The Firm” – Susan Harris is the deal!!!

The Firm! My roommate and I used to do those in college. I remember there were certain parts where the lady was really weird and it made us crack up every time.
I remember my mom having the Jane Fonda tapes back in the day. I think everyone did!

    • Ange says:

I think people forget just how huge those videos were. My mum and literally everyone she knew had or shared around those tapes and loved the shit out of them. Once someone memorised the routine they’d lend the tape to a friend. Not only were they revolutionary in making fitness accessible to people before the age of a gym on every corner and the internet but they really did work. I still remember my mum pulling them out well into the 90s if she wanted to tone up a bit.

Now…has Channing had any work done?

    • Onnit says:

I think he’s had the space between his eyes widened.

      • SURFCHICK says:

He always looks bloated to me. I don’t follow these two, do they break up a lot?????

    • Lucy2 says:

He’s really fallen out of the spotlight, hasn’t he? He was a big thing for a while, but I don’t see much about him anymore.

We just moved into an open concept house and I love it. I am not a stay at home mom but I do cook meals (more than usual these days) and it really is nice to be able to (a) not feel closed off from everyone in the kitchen and (b) see what my kids are doing. They are at the age where silence = destroying something and in our last place where the kitchen was very cut off from the living area and bedrooms you had to really trade off preparing meals/cleaning up or making sure kids weren’t making a total mess somewhere else. I also personally didn’t like the idea of having unused “formal” living and dining rooms in the other houses we looked at.

I’m laughing because almost no one is commenting on Jessie J and Channing LOL…..I guess they’re just not that interesting. This is the second time they split, so looks like they’ve got some issues that are not being resolved. It must be just a little embarrassing to have your breakups plastered all over the internet, gosh……well, I’m sure they really cared about each other. I wonder just what makes it not work?

As someone who has always lived in very small homes, I do love the open floor plan concept. I could however do without my bathroom door being sooooo exposed. It removes all aspects of privacy.

Boris Johnson just got admitted to the ICU.

This week is going to be wild, I’ll bet.

May all you dear Celebitches remain healthy and well.

Boris Johnson is in the ICU 😳

  7. The Recluse says:

Not a fan of Open Concept done to extremes. Our current home has a support wall between the living room and the kitchen/dining room. It was built in 1957 and I wouldn’t change it for anything. I would hate people being able to see straight through into the kitchen.
There is another detriment to Open Concept everything; house fires spread faster than houses that are more compartmentalized.

Again this website misses the biggest entertainment story of the day with Gaga and Billie eilish’s benefit concert. Go write about Kate Middleton again for the five hundredth time

Love John Oliver, I try to catch up on Last Week Tonight but sometimes it’s a lot to take in when things are like right now! But he makes it seem so funny and urgent, I prefer that to the distance of the other Comedy Central hosts…and John losing it in parallel to renner’s song was gold, lol
