It’s a good start, but it shouldn’t have taken a week of protests in all 50 states and around the world for them to be arrested. It’s not over until they are convicted and imprisoned.

  2. Trillian says:

I like “Space Force” and I think it’s funny.

    • whatWHAT? says:

I was just going to comment and say the same thing.

it’s laugh out loud funny at some points. between the mocking of 45’s idea of having Space Force, and the absurdist humor (partially due to the absurdity of a space force), the play on the Russian spy “Bobby”, and Steve Carell’s brilliance (Malkovich, too!), I really like it. And the spacechimp being kidnapped/rescued by the Chinese spacecraft?…*DEAD*.

    • KarenG says:

Me 3. We are enjoying it. I understand the criticism though if you view the show with expectations of more satire I guess? It’s definitely a different show than I thought it was going to be and it makes me feel different things than I thought I would. I thought I was going to get to make fun of Trump and actual Space Force…and sure, there’s some of that, but mostly I’m now just rooting for the hapless fake Space Force and Carell’s character. I think the show is kind of sweet/charming and funny. I too love the Bobby character and I’m enjoying the chemistry Carell and Malkovich are developing. Sure, it could be better, but I’m looking forward to seeing how they improve in a second season. I do HATE the PR guy character.

@ KARENG-OH, IM SO GLAD YOU GUYS LIKE IT!!!!! Steve Carell is my only hall pass (and future husband, lol) and although I’ve been REALLY looking forward to this, I’ve held back after reading the reviews. I just couldn’t have my heart broken with all of the world shite going on now. Funny, blustering and idiotic Steve on my tv gives me life, joy, and sweet temporary relief.

On to sign up for NF 😅🤗🤣

      • WigletWatcher says:

same here. Space Force is a good watch.

    • Snazzy says:

Oh man me too! Loved it!

    • Penguin says:

The beginning drags a bit, but then it finds its momentum and it’s really funny. I love Steve Carell and John Malkovitch together, they have great chemistry. My husband commented that the only reason it’s not funny is that the unhinged president isn’t even a satire, it’s real life!

  3. Maria says:

Why did they need 4 officers to deal with this anyway? He was accused of using a counterfeit $20 bill, which may have been unknown to him. The whole thing is simply gross, I hope they all rot in jail.

    • adastraperaspera says:

It’s suspicious. I wonder if they’ll find evidence that premeditation was involved, as the murderer allegedly knew the victim personally.

      • Maria says:

If the murderer knew the victim, then why did the others simply do nothing?

      • Beth says:

@Maria Apparently one of the other cops spoke up twice. Obviously this wasn’t enough, so please don’t read this post as a defense of what happened. I do think it’s worth noting that the one who spoke up was only on the job for 3 days, so still under probation, and Chauvin (who is a racist POS) was his superior officer. At least that’s what I’ve read. The other two did nothing and are equally as complicit.

    • Seraphina says:

Exactly this Maria. And they won’t rot in jail, remember, these are cops who are dirty in jail. They won’t last long.

      • Call_me_al says:

Will any of these four be able to post bail?

      • NatureLover says:

You know that the Police Officers Union will post bail for them. They are the scum of the earth when they support dirty cops. They should walk away from dirty cops, but they don’t.

      • Call_me_al says:

        This sucks.

    • Decora says:

Erm it doesn’t really take much for the police to use extreme force on black people. A black person can just be sitting in the own home and the police will barge in and kill them, making sure to shoot several times.

    • Tiffany says:

I was walking to get my lunch at work last spring and I saw a young black woman get pulled over for speeding. It was a cop and his partner. So I went and waiting and about 10 minutes later as I am walking back I see 2 more cars arrived along with 4 more police officers.

So they are standing and totally obscuring the sidewalk (you pretty much had to talk to them to tell them to move so that tells me they were itching for a fight as they saw me walking and stood there forcing me to say something to them), so I stood there and waited and as I did, I saw the young woman in cuff IN THE BACK SEAT OF HER OWN CAR while they were searching it. And these clowns were just standing there talking about what they are gonna have for dinner.

She looked about 20 and so…..deflated. Like, there was just no fight in her.

      I hate the police.

This is norm. This is America.

  4. JanetDR says:

So glad to know they were all charged. It would have only taken one of them to put a stop to it.

  5. shanaynay says:

Yeah, all this MOFO’s are guilty, and should rot in jail. I’m very proud of all the police officers who are speaking out stating this was definitely murder. Personally, I think all of their careers will be ruined after this. At least, that’s what I hope happens.

  6. Tiffany says:

Kaiser, I set up and ball and you completed the punt on Armie Hammer when we tweeted. Oh man, he just cannot stay out of his own way.

And the BTS statement. I am not gonna lie, I was not expecting it but I am glad they did it.

  7. SJR says:

OK, I might not express this very well but, when I first saw the video I could only see it for a few seconds before I realized what I was actually seeing, and quickly turned it off. Read the reports of what the video was connected to in the news.

#1. My first thought, WHY aren’t the other cops pulling him off this guy?
#2. Wth? Are they just standing there watching him kneel on this guys airway?
#3. Is this for real? Is this a F’ing snuff film? WTF is going on?

How does anybody disconnect to that degree that nobody moved to pull him off?

I grew up with all brothers and their friends, I have seen guys scream and start fights, drunken fights, fist fights that start over whatever, etc.
But, always very, very quickly somebody, usually more than one person gets in there and separates them/hey, man calm the f down/knock it off jesus/break it up, man.

Yes, it was murder. Yes, the other cops who stood by and did zero to stop him should all be facing charges also. How do they face themselves or explain their behavior to their own families? Did none of them do Anything at all to stop it? Sickening.

  8. Justwastingtime says:

Last week when the governor of Minnesota asked what do we have to do the stop the violence.. I literally yelled at the screen.. arrest all four…

I thought Minneapolis was this cool liberal town.. I used to go there on business trips a lot… More fool me.. completely racist toward blacks.

While people in America need to do so much better.

  9. Kitten says:

Society may be comfortable with the bad habit of negating and dismissing black women, but I’m not: Let’s not forget about Breonna Taylor, the emergency medical worker was shot at least eight times by officers. She’s still waiting for justice and so is her family. #RestInPower #BlackLivesMatter #MarchOn

  10. GiGi says:

Eh…maybe don’t scratch the itch on re-watching Mad Men. That blackface episode still haunts me…

    • Franklymydear... says:

Yeah, no joke. I tried to rewatch it from the beginning a few weeks ago and couldn’t get more than a couple of episodes in before turning it off. It’s depressing AF and right now I need light, not dark. I might find a Roger YouTube compilation for his funny quips (sans blackface), but otherwise, NOPE.
