Kellyanne Conway’s daughter Claudia is a Trump-mocking BLM supporter

I honestly don’t care – at this point – about the marriage dynamics between Kellyanne Conway and her husband George Conway. Kellyanne has worked for Donald Trump for almost four full years, and George Conway has styled himself as one of the biggest critics of Trump and the Trump administration. Personally, I find “working for Trump” to be a massive dealbreaker and if George Conway wanted to prove his credentials, he would get a divorce. It’s that simple, and his wife is THAT deplorable.

But what of the Conway children? They have four kids – twins George IV and Claudia, plus Vanessa and Charlotte. Claudia Conway – I guess?? – is a Tik Toker and an active Instagrammer. She’s been using her platforms to… support Black Lives Matter and post content dissing Donald Trump. NYT’s Taylor Lorenz posted some of Claudia’s Tik Toks and said that Claudia is actually not hiding and she’s chatting with journalists, etc. Claudia wants followers and such. So, behold, Claudia Conway’s liberal Tik Toks:

I mean… if y’all want to follow her, go ahead. I think it’s fair for me to say that if George Conway wants to prove his credentials, he should divorce his wife, but it’s trickier with kids. The Conway kids probably do love both of their parents and Claudia has her own ideas about everything. I’m not going to follow her, but whatever. Just let her do her thing.

Reminds me of Guiliani’s daughter who absolutely refuses to speak to her father and is very much a Democrat.

Also from a purely DC politics point of view, whatever the dynamics of their marriage, it’s a shrewd move for him to stay married to Kellyanne. She provides him access to the inner members of the Trump admin- the real movers of Trump’s policies. The inside connection is invaluable political currency.

    • holly hobby says:

Moscow Mitch’s daughters disowned him a long time ago. They have no contact.

      • EM says:

Very true – I actually follow one on Twitter and she follows me back. I’m sensitive to not calling her father trash but otherwise no holding back. Astounded how liberal her politics are but then again her mother is quite the activist.

    • ODIE says:

100% agree. If he divorced KAC, Trump would use it to discredit the Lincoln Project. Happily married + Trump is beholden to the wife? It is a beautiful thing.

  2. Piratewench says:

It does give me hope for the future. I see all these rancid, hateful, deplorable racists and I fear the next generation they will raise. But if kids can break away from hateful ideologies then we always have hope.

    • minx says:

I have a Millennial son and Gen Z daughter and I’m very hopeful for the future. They are open minded and accepting.

      • kimberlu says:

Nearly everyone is accepting at that age group. It’s what happens later that screws us all up… ;) it’s weird.

      • Claudia says:

Gen Z conservatives are EXTREMELY conservative and gaining massive support.

  3. Kat says:

So kellyanne and her husband aren’t really a cute couple right ? But their genes combined make kids who look very normal/nice.

Anyone else boycotting Tiktok due to the Chinese government’s influence and power related to it? Or for another reason? I’m so tired of seeing tiktok everywhere without disclaimers that we should at least seriously keep the kids away from it

    • Esmom says:

I see both of her parents in her features and you’re right, the combination works. Give her a few decades, though, maybe, lol.

      • florencia says:

Given that extreme tanning she’s unfortunately going to have her mom’s skin one day!

    • Flamingo says:

I think she looks much more like her father. There are a few pictures of him online from the late 80′s before he gained weight and he isn’t bad looking. Not a movie star, but certainly the more attractive of the pair.

    • Noodle says:

@Kat, I told my kids (12 and 15), in no uncertain terms, that they are not allowed to download TikTok because of the privacy concerns. There have been several written pieces from programmers and those who understand the machine driving TikTok, and every single one of them has said DO NOT download this app. They are finding that TikTok can access your phone’s clipboard, which gives them access to your content, what you’re working on, and all sorts of other things. Given TikTok’s country of origination and their history of silencing those who speak out, that is quite problematic.

    • adastraperaspera says:

Tiktok was just banned in India. U.S. military branches also block it. Tiktok is stealing data that they will probably use to undermine western democracies. Nothing in China is civilian–it’s all beholden to the CCP and PLA. Even Jackie Chan is a party hack (sad when I heard due to being a fan of his movies).

    • Truthiness says:

This is the very reason I do not download it.

    • ODIE says:

Kelly Ann looks like what would happen if Steven King wrote Pinocchio. Every time she tells a lie, she hollows out a little more. One day, after an appearance on cable news, someone shakes her hand and we hear a loud *cronsch* sound…the hand falls to the ground. A dust plume rises. THE END.

    • Lyli says:

I find it gross to comment on her looks : it’s completely irrelevant.

    • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

Yes. Deleted it this am after reading the two articles citing that information theft.

  4. 123qwerty says:

IMHO, Kellyanne is just a political worker doing a job and that’s how she she sees it. That’s why she and George have no problems. It’s a job that she could be hired to do for anyone. Like a lawyer.

Let me be clear that I’m not endorsing her or her actions.

    • Lightpurple says:

      Exactly

    • BayTampaBay says:

I understand that she is following the money but not all money is good money. There is some shit you just do not want to be involved with.

This Kellyanne person is doing this ONLY for the money as many talking heads on TV have talked about and clearly outed her. Few people could do this with all that is at stake for the USA.

      • Erinn says:

It’s like the lawyers that defended Casey Anthony. She was guilty as hell, but SOMEONE has to do the job. I know I wouldn’t be able to live with myself, but there are clearly people who can just do their job and not get emotionally involved in it. I don’t know how they do it. I think in SOME ways we need people like that, even though I don’t think very highly of them.

      • Jay says:

@baytampabay, you said it- not all money is good money, especially if this administration ever gets the reckoning it deserves. “Just following orders” won’t cover it. She’s a pollster/operative – surely she could get a media job or work for other Republicans? She must just love the proximity to power. I expect her to be one of the last rats to leave the sinking ship, pushing others aside as she scampers for a lifeboat.

      • Seraphina says:

@Baytampabay, THANK YOU. exactly this. I am tired of people acting without empathy, remorse, scruples or a moral compass and their pass is “they are doing their job”. Fuck that! Call them out for they are. Not all money is good money. And once you sell your soul, there is no turning back. It this doesn’t apply to only higher ups.

      • Leigh says:

@Erinn – It’s nothing like the defense attorneys who represented Casey Anthony. The lawyers did not participate in the crime.

      • Gina says:

I find this thread interesting. It reminds me that I recently heard yes pre-pandemic that businesses are looking for recent graduates who have taken courses in Ethics. They are looking for people who are able to work in a team environment and make good decisions so they are looking for courses in ethics and believe it or not, liberal arts degrees – more we’ll rounded.

      • Christina says:

        Kellyanne Conway was an anti

      • Green Desert says:

@BayTampaBay – exactly. One of the reasons we’re in this mess in the US is because too many people value individual over collective. The Conways with all of their privilege could make lots of money elsewhere; these aren’t poor downtrodden people with no other options. Imagine the lack of empathy and morals it takes to do her job, regardless the amount of money.

      • Christina says:

Kellyanne was an antiabortion activist before she worked for Ted Cruz and then Trump. She’s in it for the money, but I think her loyalty comes from wanting to get rid of Roe v. Wade. I imagine that her husband is also antiabortion. I believe that they are Catholic, but I’m not sure. It explains why she is unbothered by Trumps racism. George’s mother is Philippina, and that makes Kellyanne’s children 1/4 Asian.

Sorry about the unfinished comment. The pop up ads keep kicking me out of the comment as I type.

      • Jaded says:

@BayTampaBay – exactly…and when Trump gets thrown out the only place she’ll be able to work is Faux News and with a far smaller pay cheque. You lie down with dogs you get fleas.

    • Trillian says:

Even if it were just a job, when you sell out your beliefs that way to make money, you are deplorable. I could not be with such a person.

      • Esmom says:

Yes. Especially with kids, and kids at that age. Modeling integrity for them is so important. It may be just a job to her but this presidency has been causing real anguish and destruction for years. Kellyanne is garbage.

      • BearcatLawyer says:

This. No amount of money is worth sacrificing your moral compass. Period.

    • Mich says:

Her paycheck is comprised of blood money.

    • lola says:

She’s staying until the bitter end because she knows how much money she can make with book and TV deals.

    • FrenchGirl says:

      Agree

    • Traveler says:

No, when you have to leave your soul at the door and when you are complicit in the destruction of people’s lives, it is NOT just doing your job………….you are one of the criminals.

    • florencia says:

“But it was just a job” – every Nazi ever

  5. Valiantly Varnished says:

Meh whatever. Could be genuine could be that she’s a clout chaser. Who knows.

    • Torontoe says:

Well the right legal counsel is the cornerstone of a fair judicial system, whereas there is no “right” to have a political spin doctor. But more importantly lawyers are required to follow certain ethical codes, rules of professional conduct etc. Kellyanne Conway has no such ethical codes and I have no doubt she would perjure, obstruct, destroy evidence to continue to assist Trump with his crimes. I think there’s a big difference.

  6. Marjorie says:

Next. The Conways all belong to the Look At Me party.

    • Traveler says:

The mentality is one of getting rich at any and all costs. Only plebs worry about how they make their money (ethics be damned).

  7. Jess says:

Seems like a smarmy brat, but I agree with her stance on these issues. Her mother certainly taught her how to work that skinny/’sexy’/trashy trifecta.

    • star_sky_earth says:

I’m uncomfortable with calling a fifteen year old girl ‘sexy/trashy’. To be fair to you though, her age isn’t mentioned in the article here which I think would be useful considering she looks older.

      • megs283 says:

        star_sky_earth, same.

      • YAS says:

Same. Calling a literal child sexy & trashy is uncalled for.

      • Anne Call says:

        Yeah, that’s terrible. She’s 15.

      • Otaku fairy says:

This, although even if she were 80, the trash part would still be problematic. If she’s sincere (and I’m cool with giving her the benefit of the doubt), good for her for choosing what’s right over what would be easier.

    • minx says:

Huh? She looks like most teenagers. That’s just the way they dress, I see nothing wrong.

    • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

That’s really low. She’s a kid, and that’s what’s in all the stores where kids like to shop for their clothes.

  8. Darla says:

Could the Conways become the new Kardashians and develop a reality tv family empire once Trump’s gone? I just don’t buy any of this, I’m so cynical, I see a plot afoot.

  9. Noki says:

    Dinners must be awkward lol

  10. Courtney B says:

George Conway is a founder of the Lincoln Project PAC along with Steve Schmidt and Rick Wilson (who has a great twitter). Their anti Trump ads are vicious. They go right after Bunker Baby where it hurts. I saw their latest one on the military bounties and yowza! Plus they buy ad time on channels Trump watches when he’s normally watching. Hell hath no fury like a Never Trump Republican.

    • KellyRyan says:

I follow LP, Rick, and John Weaver. No way in hell will I follow Conway or Schmidt. Would Claudia receive any attention if she wasn’t related to Poli/Celebs? No.

    • Krista says:

Courtney, I’m curious to your take on why you think Trump keeps Conway around since her husband is so anti-him. He’s disregarded any and every single person who has publicly disagreed with him or thinks he’s a tool (because, well, facts!).

In the character he has shown, it feels like he’d try to bully Conway by ordering her to reign in the hubby, leave the marriage, or a lose your job, type scenario.

      • Zengirl says:

Trump loves the drama of it, I’m sure. Keeping Kellyanne on, with her repeatedly saying pro-Trump things, allows him to get back at George.

      • anon says:

She’s keeping her job in a hush payment sort of way. She’s a Mercer operative and knows too much about Cambridge Analytica, the stolen voter data sent to Russia, and all of those other dirty secrets…

    • Colleen says:

Have you listened to The New Abnormal from The Daily Beast with Rick Wilson & Molly Jung Fast? It’s great.

      • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

It is fantastic! Also, check out The Oath w/ Chuck Rosenberg ( first season the best so far, IMO), and Stay Tuned with Preet Bharara.

  11. Chaine says:

Hilarious. Unsure if this is genuine or just typical teen rebellion, but since it is anti Trump I’m for it, whatever it is.

  12. Meeeee says:

Wait…why is there a “support Nunes and Trump” ad on this site???

    • Darla says:

Blogs and all sites, don’t control the ads. Sarah Cooper tweeted yesterday that she’s sorry Trump ads appear on her videos I think on Youtube, but that at least he’s now paying her to make fun of him. She doesn’t control that either. It doesn’t work that way. You either have no ads, or you have ads, and whatever they are, they are.

      • Ash says:

Not quite true. I manage a site and I can select certain types of ads that I don’t want to appear on it, like for gambling companies and so on. No idea if political ads is part of that – I should check though, good point.

      • ODIE says:

        No, that’s not true.

  13. KC says:

No big surprise. My kids and I are far more progressive than my conservative parents. But I’d never consider not talking to my parents over political differences. I’d disengage from politics before I did that.

    • Esmom says:

I’m not sure how anyone can “disengage” from politics. It’s life, it’s core values. And at this point it’s come down to good vs evil. I never stopped talking to my parents over political differences but I did emotionally distance myself a lot. It saved my sanity.

      • Darla says:

Yes, this is what I’ve done with my brothers. I’ve really emotionally distanced myself. I was kind of surprised how easy it was for me to emotionally distance. They have no idea. lol They just think we’re all busy. I see my nieces and nephews though.

    • Ash says:

I’m not from the US but if I were and either of my parents went all in Trump, I’d stop speaking to them. There’s a difference between us having different views on, say, tax laws or climate change policy and supporting a politician that stands for corruption, sexism, racism and so on.

    • Sid says:

I would imagine the only way to disengage from politics is if they don’t affect your day-to-day life. Some people don’t have it that easy.

  14. JennEricaMS says:

I have to say that George Conway and The Lincoln Project are doing God’s work so I’m willing to believe that her views are genuine. I live in the south and have parents with conservative views so I can empathize with her also. Her mother has sold her soul to the highest bidder but I’m glad to see her using her platform to highlight important issues. The irony is that her mother being who she is will give her an even larger platform to spread her message which I like to think will piss off KellyAnn even more.

  15. Kentuckygirl says:

My husband and I talk about this marriage dynamic frequently because it just doesn’t make much sense. But I think George benefits greatly from the insider knowledge that comes with being married to her. I’m not saying she’s giving away secrets, but maybe he overhears conversations, maybe he goes through her phone, maybe she has a schedule up on their fridge and he cleans info from that. I doubt she’s 100% careful to lock her home office or to keep everything secret. And they do live together, I believe. I really enjoy the Lincoln Project stuff.

  16. GR says:

I hadn’t realized until this week that Kellyanne’s husband, and therefore Kellyanne’s kids, aren’t white (George’s dad was/is asian – filipino specifcally). Must be pretty weird for them that their mom works for a white supremacist.

  17. Aitana says:

Someone mentioned upthread that she’s “smarmy,” & I didn’t understand till I actually watched her tic tic videos. OMG, she’s a carbon copy of her Mom, only her ideologies are left. That attitude…yes…SMARMY is a very apt descriptor. Dripping w/that condescending attitude JUST LIKE MOM! Ugh.

    • Anne Call says:

      She’s 15. Give her a break.

      • H says:

I was just going to say this. I’m not on Snapchat anymore but when I was my teenage daughter and her friends acted like this. Duckface, posing, twirling their hair, etc. I gave up. All I said to her was: make sure you don’t do anything stupid or illegal as employers and colleges look at social media and what’s posted on the Internet NEVER really disappears.

Kids, what can you do? :)

  18. TIFFANY says:

I don’t buy it. George is looking for more cash for The Lincoln Project and wants to tap in the young people to get it.

  19. Girl_ninja says:

This family are grifters I don’t trust anything they say or do.

  20. lucy2 says:

IMO George and Kellyanne are playing both sides of the fence, for money. There’s all this talk about “how could they stay together” and I think they’re just laughing all the way to the bank.
I don’t get the impression that Kellyanne believes half of what she says on the WH’s behalf, but she’s still out there saying it, helping to spread lies and hate, and cashing her checks, so she’s as bad and complicit as the rest.

I do feel for their children, it can’t ever be easy to have a parent in the public eye, especially in politics. If I were in the daughter’s situation, I’d be begging every day for Kellyann to quit and stop contributing to the harm.

  21. Nina Simone says:

I’ve also heard that George is a very devout catholic. Getting a divorce goes against that, but It’s clear he really hates Trump. He spends so much time and energy trolling him. Even I don’t care that much.

    • Zengirl says:

Exactly the comment I was about to type. They are both serious Catholics. Divorce is still a big deal for Catholics, leading to never being able to remarry in the church. Plus, for everyone, divorce can be difficult when you have kids and lots of complicated financials going on. From some articles written, I don’t think the two get along anymore at all, but stick together due to above. I think it is possible they may divorce after kids are grown, and/or just do the Arnold/Maria thing, where they split but never seem to get to the divorce part, or did they finally??….not sure but they stayed separated but not divorced for a very long time.

  22. sassafras says:

This kid is damned if she doesn’t speak up (like Karlie Kushner) or damned if she does (oh- she’s suspiciously playing both sides). Her age and her father’s views lead me to believe that she’s sincere about all this. With two politically involved lawyers as parents, I imagine their house has always been full of debate and discussion and hopefully the Conway children were encouraged to express themselves from a young age.

For whatever reason, I had thought that the kids were a bit younger though and assumed that was the reason why the Conways hadn’t divorced yet. That they were just legally co-parenting through this administration and not dealing with custody/ child support until they could focus on it properly. That is all my speculation.

And if KellyAnne comes out as Anonymous or one of the Rogue accounts I will lose my crap. She’s not a hero. Nope.

  23. LunaSF says:

That gives me some hope for the younger generations. I’m so glad Kellyanne isn’t my mom.

  24. Beech says:

The Lincoln Project is good for what it is, anti Trump. But the enemy of my enemy is not My friend. They are still Republican with conservative political beliefs.

    • Jayna says:

@Beech, they aren’t just anti Trump. They are also targeting every single one of those elected officials who have supported and enabled Trump. So many Republicans are calling them traitors for doing that because Dems will then take the Senate.

They aren’t my friends. But I consider this an alliance, an alliance that has a common goal. Their way of achieving that common goal is to work to influence moderate Republicans and right-leaning independents to vote for Biden and topple as many of Trump’s elected chronies as possible during the election process.

      • Thea says:

I don’t follow them, but I’ve seen their ads. I will say that the Lincoln project is doing what Bloomberg promised to do, but do far hasn’t done a thing.

Also, how can we report those Nunes ads that’s on this site?

      • lucy2 says:

Good point Thea, what happened to Bloomberg?

    • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

It’s a Sun Tzu kinda situation.

  25. Jayna says:

George doesn’t have to divorce Kellyanne to prove his credentials. He is one of the founders of The Lincoln Project, and Republicans George, along with Steve Schmidt, John Weaver, Rick Wilson, Jennifer Horn are killing it. They are running ads daily, trolling Trump daily, being interviewed, on and on, all in the quest to topple Donald Trump and every single one of the politicians in office that blindly supported him.

That means they are actually actively working to ensure Dems flip the senate. They want to burn down what has become the Trump Party and start anew. I follow The Lincoln Project twitter daily. They are doing the dirty work that Dems never do, but this time it’s against the portion of the party now called the Trump Party. Democrats are on that site in droves thanking them for caring more about the U.S. than winning. I consider George, and the others, heroes these days. One day when Trump is out, we will part ways, but until then, this alliance with the common goal of taking Trump and his swamp out of office is a noble one

They recently ran an ad supporting a Democrat for governor because the Republican governor is one of their targets.

    • lucy says:

This exactly. I do not understand what is so hard to understand this!

    • Traveler says:

I applaud the Lincoln project however, I am sorry, but I don’t trust George Conway as far as I can throw him. You cannot be married to a woman who is voluntarily acting to take down our democracy and actively ruining people’s lives on so many levels right now then convince me of your selfless, noble motives. There is something in it for him that has nothing to do with the “good of the country”. Others have rightfully alluded to the fact that this couple is working both sides of the fence so that they will remain viable even after this fiasco his wife gleefully participated in is over.
I will be forever a skeptic.

  26. Christina says:

Kellyanne Conway worked for anti-abortion groups. She protects Trump for money, but she stays to make sure that abortion is overturned. Her husband supported her, and he is also a republican lawyer, so it would seem that he is also anti-abortion, but I don’t know. She is one of the people who got antiabortion activists to support Trump. It’s about more than money for her.

  27. KBeth says:

Kellyanne’s only redeeming quality is her ability to choose very nice names for her children.

  28. Naddie says:

    I don’t buy it.

  29. adastraperaspera says:

Kellyanne is the granddaughter of Jimmy “The Brute” DiNatale. Her uncle (also named Jimmy) is a “developer.” Their family is mob. The Conways are at the stage of their well-paid act that requires George to pitch in to help push Trump out (for Pence/Haley) while the kids put up left-leaning videos to draw sympathy for them all that will make everyone willing readers of her “tell all” book about how she suffered working for Trump. And of course they’ll get tons of television exposure where they pretend to be the modern Carville and Matalin. And yet they have helped Trump pull off this whole thing. Has anyone answered the question why the D.C. mansion they moved into is literally next door to the Russian oligarch Deripaska’s?

    https://www.phillyvoice.com/kellyanne-conways-life-story-omits-her-grandfather-an-alleged-mob-associate/

  30. Other Renee says:

My daughter is marrying the son of Trump supporters (well his mom and stepdad). He’s totally embarrassed by it. The truth is I really like his Mom. She’s been really good to my daughter for many years. We get along really well. I had no idea they were on that side of the fence. (Then again, so are several of my friends. We just respectfully disagree with each other.) Her husband is another story. I know for a fact that he made an anti-semitic comment about my kid (something about not wanting a Jew decorating his Christmas tree). But my future SIL can’t stand him either. I’ve spoken to him maybe three times in all these years. Well, bucko, I got news for you. According to my daughter, the kids are being raised Jewish. Suck on that for a while, a–hole.

  31. Mina_Esq says:

I don’t think Kellyanne is doing it for the money. She and George are very much on the same page with respect to their conservative policy agenda. She knows how to stroke Trump’s ego and spin some of his most disgusting words and actions, but I have no doubt that her principal role there is to make sure that he signs off on Federalist choice of judicial appointments. Those will shape policy and law in US for decades; Trump is gone by January. She is taking one for the conservative team, so to speak, and she will eventually be praised for her “sacrifice”.

  32. Nia says:

Kellyanne is a massive leaker. I 100% think everything indicates that we wouldnt know half of what we do about what goes on around Trump if she had left. The whole family probably hates Trump.

    • JanaTHING says:

Some people around Washington actually think KellyAnne is the author of Anonymous…

      • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

I have read that as well, and I can fully believe it. She crows about there Catholicism, & while I’m not religious, I know the tenets of Catholicism conflict entirely with all things Rump, so she could easily be undermining him. He’s a tool forever being played.

On an aside, there is a twitter user by the name of Angry White House staffer who I personally think is Reince Priebus. Another account, Rogue WH SNR Adviser says s/he will reveal true ID on 7/4.
Angry says s/he will reveal identity after Rump is gone, so that’l be interesting.

  33. Veronica says:

There’s a lot of this in America right now, to be honest. I know a lot of families that are coming apart at the seams over political and moral differences. Millennials and Gen Z are very at odds with Gen X/Boomers (more the latter) in a way that causes a lot of animosity and friction. It’s either going to crash and lead to a progressive path or just damn us all.

  34. b. says:

This is a big who cares. This is like finding out Madonna likes a big cock.

  35. Bread and Circuses says:

Kellyanne is such a skilled, shameless liar, who even knows if she’s pro- or anti-Trump.

  36. Lory says:

I don’t understand why anyone would want to be married to someone like Kellyanne but since even that soulless demon child Stephen Miller found himself a human woman to wed anything is possible.

That said, George actually has nothing to prove to us. He be married to that heinous beast and still hate Trump. Saying that he would have to divorce his wife of 19 years and the mother of their 4 children just to prove to us that he has enough Trump hating street cred is kind of ridiculous and adds nothing to getting Trump out of office. George is not a progressive ally so who cares about his opinions anyway.
