Donald Trump went maskless to a church service in Las Vegas with Hope Hicks

Is it just me or was it eerily quiet politically this weekend? Maybe I just wasn’t paying attention, and maybe it’s because I’m actively ignoring that Hunter Biden “story” which is just part of a Russian intelligence operation. But two weekends before Election Day, shouldn’t there be more news, more drama, more insanity from Donald Trump? I’m suspicious. That being said, maybe I’ve gotten used to just how f–king bonkers everything is 24-7 these days and so a “quiet weekend” for me Donald Trump flying into a state which is being crippled by the pandemic, refusing to wear a mask the entire time, and then attending a crowded church maskless. With Hope Hicks. Hm.

President Trump became part of the church-going crowd this weekend — and his presence moved a pastor to predict he’d get a 2nd win … and Trump returned the favor by telling the pastors they were rough around the edges. DT attended a service Sunday at the International Church of Las Vegas … with Pastors Paul and Denise Goulet officiated. It was quite the sight — Trump stood there awkwardly with his palms out, flanked by Hope Hicks and Kayleigh McEnany … nobody wearing masks.

Right up Donald’s alley, no doubt, but it’s what Pastor Denise ranted and raved about that actually stole the show … she says she got a sign from God at 4:30 this morning … that Trump’s getting another 4 years, but she had a funny and confusing way of explaining it. First, she said his “second win” would come in the form of a victory at the polls; next, she said he’d get another “second win” with a fresh shot of energy … like a runner near the finish line and who’s out of breath, but still manages to power through to the end.

Finally, Pastor Denise said he’d get a second “wind,” which she likened to the Holy Spirit. We believe she has a few of those “second win(d)s” mixed up, but whatever … Trump was loving it all the same. Ironically, Trump has proven of late that he can, indeed, get pretty winded.

Anyway, the couple eventually invited to him to the stage to bless him — which was just as awkward as their sermon from afar — and eventually handed him the mic to share some words, and that’s when he told the pastoral duo they were rough around the edges.

Looks like Trump went into his own pocket for a donation to ICLV Sunday, whipping out a few 20-dollar bills … and counting them up a couple times over. He eventually dropped it in the collection bucket that was going around.

[From TMZ]

After watching this video… whew. Hope Hicks is really going to be Wife #4. And Trump needs to stop awkwardly trying to “attend church” or “tithe.” It’s not believable – we all know that he thinks people of faith are chumps and losers. And we all know that the Evangelicals are ride-or-die for him regardless of his own cheating, unfaithful, nasty sh-t. Why even pretend? All of those people are going to vote for him anyway. And Trump just keeps going from superspreader event to superspreader event.

According to Trump, Jesus built the arc 🤷‍♀️

  2. Melissa says:

Yech. That’s all I got. Yech.

  3. ChillyWilly says:

Lol…how many times was he gonna count that money? What a freaking wierdo. How is he still alive?? Evil really is hard to kill.

    • Digital Unicorn says:

People will dementia do this – my mum used to do it before she got really bad.

      • brooksie says:

Yes! My grandma used to do this all of the time before she passed away. She’d take the change out of her coin purse and count it repeatedly.

      • Lightpurple says:

Yes, the money gets counted and recounted and counted again. Any piece of paper gets folded repeatedly, unfolded, and folded again. Endless fidgeting with paper and money is paper.

      • Swack says:

The people at the nursing home where my mom was would have her do math problems.

    • Miranda says:

Yeahhhh, I feel like Jesus would probably chase him off with a whip if he saw Trump counting that money. Apparently he never read the the cleansing of the Temple story. But I guess that’s to be expected, since the story isn’t in his favorite book of the Bible, “Two Corinthians”. (Please tell me someone else remembers him saying that!)

    • Size Does Matter says:

He was calculating how many ways he cans get a tax credit for it.

      • Sankay says:

He was counting over and over because he was really angry he had to giv,e money to these “believer” losers.

His coloring, doesn’t it count as black face (sorry if I offend people of color). That’s a lot of orange mixed with something.

    • Regina Falangie says:

Ew. He counted it so many times to draw attention to how much he was giving. He wanted to make sure everyone saw. The “billionaire” 😂 gave $20s!!! How “generous”. He’s pathetic. Cold as ice.

    • Brittney B says:

…yeah, Regina’s got it. He wanted to make sure they got a good shot of it. Yet he’s too cheap for the better spectacle of a few hundred-dollar bills.

  4. Yoyoma says:

Shallow Don will give jobs to anyone who he thinks is fuckable

  5. tmbg says:

These clowns are unbelievable. They supposedly had Covid and here they are again, maskless. I don’t even believe he really had it. The others probably did and he thought it’d be a prime opportunity to get in on the action and stage a bunch of dramatic scenes. Frauds.

  6. Miranda says:

Pretttty sure the Bible generally frowns upon prognostication, Pastor Denise. See you in Hell!

Also, every time Trump does something churchy, I immediately get “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” stuck in my head.

  7. Digital Unicorn says:

Yeah, she’s def aiming to be wife number 4 if he wins again.

    • Lemons says:

But…Hope has now reached higher echelons of society. There really is no other Republican heir that she wants to attach herself to? They can’t be that hard to find. And sorry, but I wouldn’t want to be attached to ousted president Trump in any way shape or form let alone romantically.

      • Korra says:

She is supposedly dating a Goldman Sachs banker in his 50s, so I think she has her backup plan ready when this administration is voted out.

      • FancyPants says:

One of the articles I read about Stephen & Katie Miller’s wedding had a quote from somebody about how they can all only date each other because everyone else is repulsed by the whole lot of them, and… yup. Trump is definitely going to be single the day after his term ends! It’s just too gross to think about. What is even it it for Hope? She knows he doesn’t have any money and whatever he does have will probably be tied up in court. Maybe they’d get married so she can’t be compelled to testify against him? Melania probably won’t care about that any more.

  8. minx says:

He always looks like he’s sitting on the toilet.

  9. Christin says:

He was behind in the polls and made a bunch of campaign stops in random places during the last couple weeks of October 2016.

It will come down to which side gets out the vote. Take nothing for granted.

  10. Noodle says:

Then he flew into Southern California and went to a private fundraiser in Newport Beach hosted by the inventor of Oculus. It’s generally a bad sign when you’re trying to raise money two weeks before the election, right?! My community was all riled up yesterday with his arrival and rallies/protests.

    • Lynne says:

There was merchandise for sale outside of the island he went to. QAnon prominently displayed next to trump stuff. I took photos.

      • FancyPants says:

There’s a huge merchandise stand in an abandoned gas station parking lot near where I live and I see people standing in line every time I drive past it, and I always wonder what are people going to do with all that stuff after he loses? It’s giant flags and beach towels and crap that all has 2020 on it, so it’s gonna be out of date immediately. Well, this is Florida, so I guess it’s all for the next two weeks of boat parades…

      • Noodle says:

We have a number QAnon candidates on our local ballot, including Tito Ortiz, who’s running for City Council of Huntington Beach. Orange County is usually “red” in elections, but this is ridiculous.

Adding to say… our Covid numbers in OC have been really low and decreasing. I’m expecting another wave of increases after this weekend’s shenanigans.

  11. equality says:

As a Christian, I find it highly offensive to turn a church service into a political rally or into worship of a politician.

    • whatWHAT? says:

as a taxpayer, I find it ILLEGAL to turn a church service into a political rally or into worship of a politician or for any church to take a political stance on anything.

      TAX THE CHURCHES.

      • H says:

Thank you. As a Jew, I find it offensive he’s using Christians, who don’t get that he’s using them. This guy is not religious. I listened to him for years on Howard Stern, he’s a non-believer who has co-opted the “talk” for votes.

      • equality says:

Any church that “regularly engages in a business activity that is unrelated to its religious mission” is supposed to be subject to taxes so I agree. The business of the church should be charity, spreading the love of God and helping people. Christ did not become involved in the politics of his day; his concern was for individuals. The church should pattern that. I agree with @H Trump is not religious. The way he behaves is not showing the love of God.

      • Who ARE These People? says:

Yes, tax the churches. No matter who they are or where they fall politically.

He may be using them but they are using him, too.

      • Stacy Dresden says:

        Tax the churches.

  12. The Other Sarah says:

He actually takes at least one bill from the pile and puts it back in his pocket! If you watch the video closely (and 10x like I did 😂) you can see him palm a bill a before putting it back in his pocket. Gotta save that extra $20 for defense lawyers, Don!

  13. Teebee says:

A rare time I’d watch a video of trump… but man. That’s the President Of the United States? He looks uncomfortable, self conscious… bored. Out of place. Sitting there like a grampa forced to attend church, not wanting to be there, fiddling with his donation, because he’s completely disinterested in what’s going on.

  14. paranormalgirl says:

I love the header pic. He looks like he has those fake little hands….

    • Olliesmom says:

Like the fake little hands of Dooneese (Kristin Wigg) of the Singing Maharelle Sisters from the SNL skit.

  15. Moorele says:

I have been saying this for years… Hope has been angling to be Mrs Trump #4, with Ivanka’s blessing!

    • LillyfromLilloeet says:

      1. First I’m hearing of this
      2. Riveted by the idea
      3. What would Hope get out of it? He’s actually sort of broke and physically repulsive

NEED ANSWERS or at least theories!

      • Korra says:

People have speculated about their relationship for years because of how uncomfortably close they are with each other. Both times she has worked in the White House, it has been repeatedly said that she is always at his side. I may have once agreed with the theory that she was gunning to be his wife, especially if had lost in 2016. But now, I think her loyalty stems for the fact that she has been so enmeshed with the Trumps for a long time, particularly her professional career; she has gotten too comfortable working in that type of environment. She even left a 7-figure job at Fox to go back to the White House (I also speculate that she could not handle her C-level role at Fox).

I mentioned upthread that she has a 50-something boyfriend who works at Goldman Sachs. I would not be surprised if she settles down with him and starts popping out kids if and when the Trump administration gets voted out. She is too dysfunctional to be fielding competing offers after January 20, hence why she has remained loyal to Trump for so long.

    • Who ARE These People? says:

I would really like to know more about her upbringing. It’s like with Stephen Miller: What happened to make them like this?

      • LillyfromLilloeet says:

@Korra I paddled upstream to read your comment. That makes a lot of sense, including the notion that she and DT have a yicky chemistry and attachment that neither one of them, especially she, will have to act on. This happens at jobs all the time. Thanks for your answer!

  16. Kynesgrove89 says:

Is Hope trying to screw him or what? Is she already?

  17. bettyrose says:

The fact that he doesn’t burst into flames when entering a church tells me that churches have never had the power to identify the truly evil through spontaneous combustion.

  18. Rapunzel says:

Tin foil hat theory: the former Melania assistant that wrote a book and released the “f–k Christmas” tape supposedly has tape of Melania dissing Trump himself and his older kids.

What if that woman is working with Hope and Ivanka to get rid of Melania? Picture it: tapes of Melania dissing Trump and kids are released and Trump gets to look like a betrayed husband and file divorce. Her badmouthing nullifies her rights to any settlement (Trump has it in her contract) and he gets to divorce her, keep his money, and marry Hope.

Hope, Ivanka and the staffer could be coordinating a strategic release of those tapes, which would explain why they haven’t come out.

  19. Agni says:

Have you not seen that he is counting it once, THEN POCKETING IN HIS RIGHT PALM some of it, and then counting it again?

    • laura-j says:

I came here to say just that… he put some of the money back in his pocket! LOL

    • Jay says:

Well, campaign funds are tight! Given how ostentatious he was being, I’m kinda surprised he didn’t open a metal briefcase and make it rain.

Also, Hope had to accompany this fool to church? I can’t tell if she’s Eva Braun or his minder.

Quick reminder that Trump “reassigned” Hope from an admin position with his daughter’s business to his campaign, made her communications director though she had no political experience and prided herself on never speaking to the press.

  20. Josie Bean says:

The things you have to sit through to try and win votes.

Trump wined and dined a number of church leaders to get them to endorse him to their congregations. Trump then brought the church leaders to the White House to keep in favor with them so that they would continue to sing Trump’s praises to their congregations. Church leaders can be bought fairly cheaply.

  21. M4lificent says:

Drove from Chicago to Denver this weekend. (Stayed over with friends in Omaha who have a basement guest room.) Illinois and Colorado have mask mandates, but none of the states in between do. We only stopped at rest stops and to get gas, but it was still really obvious that most folks aren’t masking in huge chunks of the country.

Iowa was about 50/50. Everything in Nebraska west of Omaha was completely maskless. It’s an area that is so deep red it’s maroon. Although bless the farmer outside of Lexington with the lone “Biden Supports Ethanol” sign….

Even in Colorado, people in the rural areas were wearing masks pulled down. We thought we would be safer going into a Subway in Colorado, but half the people had masks pulled down. And when I saw that the guy behind the counter had his masked pulled down (with an older guy who I presume was the manager just standing there), I just walked out. I’d rather be the uppity, big city Karen than have a sprinkle of virus on my Italian combo….

    • Who ARE These People? says:

Being safe doesn’t make you a Karen; it makes you smart – and safe. Thanks for the report, though it’s so disheartening.

    • Olliesmom says:

I live in Illinois right across the Mississippi river from Iowa, and I have not ventured across one of the bridges and into that state since March and won’t be anytime sooon.

    • Brittney B says:

I live in Colorado, and we were doing really well until everyone decided it didn’t exist anymore…?? Almost everyone I know has been hanging out with friends again like it’s fine.

And of course… our numbers are rising again and our (Denver) mayor is tightening restrictions again. Adults are such children

  22. J ferber says:

    They’re fun king, right?

  23. jferber says:

Sorry, I meant f-cking. I’m sure he caught COVID from her and now they can get it together, again. How romantic!

  24. Mosie says:

He has gone full tan mom

  25. Alarmjaguar says:

So, not one of those Christians remembered the parable of the widow’s mite? Because I’m pretty sure Trump’s whole show with the money is directly in contrast to Jesus’ teaching on that one… not that what Jesus said apparently matters to these evangelicals, but still.

  26. Nightsky says:

Looks like Trump has been eating waaay too many cheeseburgers during his recovery and isolation. Oh wait, covid barely affected him. And isolation is for paranoid losers. He’s happy to put down his 6th cheeseburger, get out of his jammies, and waddle off to spread his infectious charms. Dangerous, deceitful pig.

  27. jferber says:

In that pic, he looks like the guy who just threw the beer bottle that hit someone in the head at Yankee Stadium. He just looks like THAT GUY. Hell, he IS that guy.
