Weirdly enough, the handful of people I knew who I would have expected to support Hillary and didn’t were all hardcore, second wave feminist types (all of whom wound up voting for Stein). They all told me that they disliked that she was not a “strong woman” – meaning, to them, a woman who would leave a cheating husband. They saw her staying with Bill as evidence of her weakness and capitulation, or something like that.
