Ivanka Trump’s former high school BFF spills all in a Vanity Fair essay

Members Of The Coronavirus Task Force Hold Press Briefing

I get the Vanity Fair emails so I know when they’re dropping some big story. I spent all day yesterday avoiding VF’s big story of the day: “Ivanka Trump Was My Best Friend. Now She’s MAGA Royalty.” I avoided it because who cares, especially at this point? The Trumps lost. Hopefully some or all of them are going to jail. They will absolutely be social pariahs. And they absolutely find their MAGA base disgusting. So why am I here? Well, we had some requests for coverage and I also chanced upon a brief summary of the piece and I was mildly amused. I mean, guess what, Ivanka Trump was a disgusting person in prep school too. This was written by Lysandra Ohrstrom, who met Ivanka when they were both 7th graders, and their friendship blossomed at Chapin, the elite all-girls school in Manhattan. You can read the full piece here. Some highlights:

Donald Trump had a photographic memory for teenage girls’ bodies: He would barely acknowledge me except to ask if Ivanka was the prettiest or the most popular girl in our grade. Before I learned that the Trumps have no sense of humor about themselves, I remember answering honestly that she was probably in the top five. “Who’s prettier than Ivanka?” I recall him asking once with genuine confusion, before correctly naming the two girls I’d had in mind. He described one as a young Cindy Crawford, while the other he said had a great figure. Though he never remembered my name, he seemed to have a photographic memory for changes in my body. I’ll never forget the time Ivanka and I were having lunch with her brothers at Mar-a-Lago one day, and while Mr. Trump was saying hi, Don Jr. swiped half a grilled cheese sandwich off my plate. Ivanka scolded him, but Mr. Trump chimed in, “Don’t worry. She doesn’t need it. He’s doing her a favor.” Conversely, he’d usually congratulate me if I’d lost weight.

Ivanka always hated poor people: I’ve been reminded of a phone call we had in our mid-20s. Ivanka always solicited book suggestions from me, and I had recently recommended Empire Falls, Richard Russo’s 2001 Pulitzer Prize–winning novel about the life of a diner manager in a working-class community in Maine. “Ly, why would you tell me to read a book about f–cking poor people?” I remember Ivanka saying. “What part of you thinks I would be interested in this?”

She’s vain, boring & rough around the edges: Ivanka would regularly relay stories of teachers or observers who had commented that she had the most innate talent they had ever seen for whatever new pursuit she was taking up. She never wore a Halloween costume that wasn’t flattering, which means she usually showed up at costume parties looking beautiful and boring. She always stopped at McDonald’s for cheeseburgers. She cursed. And of course, she had the Trump radar for status, money, and power, and her dad’s instinct to throw others under the bus to save herself.

What in the…By the time I did return home, she had started dating Jared Kushner, whose family was Orthodox Jewish, and my pro-Palestinian stance began to chafe. Since 2007, I’ve worn a necklace with my name written in Arabic, and Ivanka grew increasingly irritated by it. Sometimes, she would randomly say, “I hate that thing.” Then one night in the middle of dinner, she glanced at the necklace and said, “How does your Jewish boyfriend feel when you are having sex and that necklace hits him in the face? How can you wear that thing? It just screams, ‘terrorist.’”

After four years, Lysandra still doesn’t get why Ivanka turned MAGA: Aligning herself with her dad’s banana republic-style administration made no sense to me, until my friend suggested that Ivanka took her kids to the rally to show them that they are American royalty. This explanation seemed most plausible. What is more royal than presiding over subjects that you disdain?

[From Vanity Fair]

After reading this, I realized that I’ve completely written off tons of people for only a fraction of what Ivanka did to Lysandra. I probably could have overlooked the “I’m not going to read about poor people” thing, and I could probably ignore the casual, incessant vanity and vulgarity too (although eating McDonalds cheeseburgers does not equal “rough around the edges”). But high school friends grow apart in their 20s, it happens all the time, and at that point, it was clear who Ivanka was and how ignorant and awful she was. I can see how it surprised Lysandra when Ivanka went full MAGA, but again… Ivanka completely telegraphed that. We knew she was complicit in 2016-17. After four years of her weird fascist baby-whisper, let’s just close this f–king book.

This is a case of someone being super happy to be friends with the cute girl as a teen and then growing up, having a meaningful life and understanding that it was just survival in a very shallow group that attracted you because of power.
I always tell my kids: go for the nerds at school .

    • Esmom says:

Yeah, my kids went through school under the radar, escaping getting caught up in the popularity trap and just finding their nice circles of people. I remember having a conversation with one of my sons in one day about the social pecking order when he was a junior or senior in high school, he had been telling me about a boy in his one of his classes who ate a sheet of paper for $20, lol. He was like “I don’t understand why a lot of these people are so popular…they are not smart, not nice, not talented, not even good looking.”

It was hard to explain entitlement to him. So much entitlement and I’m not sure where it comes from. Parents are a big part of it, I’m sure. It’s interesting and definitely can be bewildering when you’re a teen in the midst of it.

    • MapleAngel says:

      Amen!

    • liz says:

So true. I had been the nerd in high school, a few close friends, but never part of the popular crowd. My twin brother was the quarterback of the football team and captain of the lacrosse team. I had less than no interest in being anywhere near that group, although knowing what he said about them at home, he didn’t want to spend much time with them either. Our parents were good about allowing him to blame them for not hanging out much – He’d tell people “I can’t go – Dad has me working all weekend.” He’d then spend most of the weekend in the backyard reading comic books. He was just as happy to get out of that town as I was.

Kiddo is LGBTQ+ and very, very careful about their friends – the girl who lives upstairs from us, who has been a close friend since they were toddlers together and the theater crowd at school. I know there is a popular crowd – every high school has one – Kiddo just rolls their eyes.

      • Itteh Bitteh says:

Liz, I just wanted to say I so very much enjoyed your comment. Not just because you’re right, but because you and your kiddo remind me of me and mine, and it’s nice to be reminded that we’re not alone. If that makes ANY sense at all. Lol.

  2. AmyB says:

Those memories of Donald Trump commenting on her body or asking about Ivanka’s beauty and popularity – do not surprise, but at the same time, disgust me all over again. Like when we heard his comment about “dating his own beautiful daughter if he wasn’t her Dad” LIKE who says that crap???

Trump is beyond disgusting, and clearly so is his daughter and the rest of his vile family. Please just get them out of the White House already!!! We have had enough!

    • Jane says:

I think it’s clear at this point that Trump is an extreme misogynist and has absolutely no positive feelings about women or girls, including his female family members. Literally women’s only purpose or use as far as he’s concerned is to be fucked, and if they’re not, in his opinion, fuckable, no matter who they are to him, he places no value on them.

      • AmyB says:

Exactly! They are merely sex objects to him, nothing more. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a complete moron.

      • MM2 says:

To be fair, he also doesn’t mind employing them because he knows & plans to pay them a fraction of what their male counterpart would get. Trump gets off on being in a power position over any & all women.

      • Mac says:

His interest in underage girls is truly disgusting.

      • Lady2Lazy says:

@ MAC, yes! Him being interested in the bodies of 7th grade girls!?! That’s disgusting on too many levels🤮

    • Esmom says:

He truly is a vile human being and for so many reasons should have been disqualified from the presidency. That a guy like Trump was never shunned completely from society and instead elevated to such celebrity status has never made sense to me and this, combined with the power of right wing propaganda outlets, has really done a number on our country.

I was lying awake last night for hours wondering how I was I ever naive or optimistic enough to bring kids into this broken world, terrified for their futures.

      • BnLurkN4eva says:

Age brings a certain wisdom that’s just not available when younger. Most of us are optimistic at my present age, but grow more weary as we age and see the world as it truly is instead of how we wish it was. For many of us the past few years has accelerated this process and actually I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a steep decline in the birthrate after the pandemic ends.

      • Charlie says:

That a guy like Trump was never shunned completely from society and instead elevated to such celebrity status has never made sense to me…

We do tend to think that celebrity, which generally come with rewards and advantages, is a kind of prize. Something gained through achievement. And that was more often (though not always) the case. But infamy has always been an alternative route to celebrity – and never more so than now. The question is, how do we move away from rewarding “real housewives” to recognizing real achievers?

I think, for example, the difference and discomfort in creating and awarding Nobel Prizes’ vs. Earthshot awards is an example of where we’ve allowed ‘Celebrity’ to run us off the rails. It is so much of where critically important socially issues have spilled over into what was once, good (un)clean Celebitchy fun. And I think the muddling of these two things is frustrating a lot of us. I may like my peanut butter in my chocolate – but I preferred it when my politics could find no foot hold in my gossip…

      • Emm says:

@esmom, I have been doing the same thing. I feel so guilty and am terrified for my children’s future. Not just that human kind has shown me how effing terrible they are the last four years but the environment, job prospects, health, everything. My five year old talks about when she grows up and has a baby and I tell her she doesn’t have to have one if she doesn’t want to, not everyone has babies and that’s ok and she can do whatever she wants.

      • d says:

@Charlie: Trump hasn’t been shunned because there are a LOT of people out there, rich and/or in power, like him. He isn’t shunned because they aren’t. They get away with a lot, so does he. Trump isn’t the problem; it’s the people out there that think like him and who vote for him and for whatever party or politician will confirm their bias. A significant amount of the American population, despite the election just now. To me, Biden got in by the skin of his teeth.
So these people are not interested in democracy or doing the right thing or principles. They just want to do what they want, how they want, when they want and it’s no one’s business why. Trump has shown us for years who and what he is and for years, he has not faced any consequences. That’s not random or accidental. America’s problem isn’t this one horrid human being.

    • Eating popcorn says:

I can not imagine my husband EVER commenting on the body of our daughter’s friends. I had always imagined Trump sucking up to Epstein because of Epstein’s power & money, maybe there were other reasons.

      • AmyB says:

There is no doubt in my mind Trump is connected in Epstein’s whole underage sex ring. That is why he has not condemned Ghislaine Maxwell in public LOL. I truly hope he is prosecuted when he leaves office, if only for tax fraud or other shit like that. He deserves prison.

  3. LaraK says:

Many things to hate about this woman. So many!

But I think the fact she married Jared is the biggest MAGA flag. He is not attractive in any shape or form. He’s just very wealthy. Once you marry for money, you are too far gone in my book.

    • Tinnie says:

I think he used to be a tad cute but he’s morphed into this not attractive (people can be not traditionally ‘attractive’ and still beautiful!), very nefarious ‘look.’ They both have fathers who are dubious with criminal backgrounds but were they ever attracted to each other? And that baby whisper thing is creepy. What’s partly amazing is that Ivanka comes across – or tries to – as if she’s fairly evolved, she is able to hide this side of her so much.

      • holly hobby says:

Jared looks evil now. Every picture has him snarling. She looks evil too. I guess the evil is seeping out.

      • Anna says:

He seriously looks like an android bot. Nothing human there or rather, anything human has morphed into pure evil.

    • WintryMix says:

I’ve seen old pictures of Jared, before he did whatever the eff he did to his face, where he looks reasonably attractive. Certainly not MY type, but like a typical rich douchebag you’d see in Nantucket red chinos with flip flops. (I went to Harvard undergrad so this is a type I’m very familiar with lol.) But NOW, the guy is completely unrecognizable and just beyond creepy-looking. I once saw him described as “haunted Victorian porcelain doll Jared Kushner” and that honestly is the most accurate take on his looks I’ve ever read.

      • Barbiesucks says:

LOL, exactly. Like the doll in The Boy. He and his brother so need to work out. They both have awful body definition. I mean, it’s clear they don’t even do something as basic as brisk walking.

      • Sandy says:

He kind of reminds me of a younger version of Mr Burna on the Simpsons.

    • LightPurple says:

The marriage was a business merger. Nobody else in New York society would have either one of them; they were both tarnished. Daddy tried to get Nagini an athlete or a celebrity but nobody was interested.

      • Tiffany says:

        All of this.

Which is why I think her and Victorian Ken might not get the society welcome they think they are entitled to.

      • Elo says:

If you believe Aubrey O’Day and Noel Casler, Ivanka is a lesbian and the whole marriage is for show.

      • holly hobby says:

Every once in awhile, Noel Casler would tweet out some nuggets about Vanky and bros. He has good stuff on them. He should put it in a book.

      • Bess says:

I find it odd that Ivanka never misses an opportunity to talk about her faith (new found faith). Does anyone believe that Ivanka and Jared both take their religion seriously?

      • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

        @Elo-
I’d like to read about this; could you point me in the direction you wandered to find it?

      • Tiffany :) says:

I think the entire Trump family is going to have their lack of money laid bare in the coming years, and I think the people that previously accepted them because they thought they were their financial equals/superiors are now going to realize that the “billionaire” identity was all a sham.

      • Liz says:

He’s not attractive so she must have married him for money? That’s such a shallow comment – reveals more about the commenter. Good heavens – the people who criticize them for being shallow and mean should a rake a look in the mirror. The divisiveness is not one-sided.

      • Liz says:

He’s not attractive so she must have married him for money? That’s such a shallow comment – reveals more about the commenter. Good heavens – the people who criticize them for being shallow and mean should a rake a look in the mirror. The divisiveness is not one-sided.

      • holly hobby says:

@Liz I so hope this was said with sarcasm. If not, Hi Ivanka, what are you doing here?

    • MM2 says:

I’m fascinated by the folie à deux of Jared & Ivanka. He was a lifelong democrat, from a wealthy family who all supported democratic politicians & he started contributing to campaigns at age 11. He was not as handsome or outgoing as his brother, but cute with a boyish charm & well educated with high connections. He met Ivanka & then became “the brains” behind MAGA, got plastic surgery so he looks like a Victorian child doll & became the toy of his father-in-law who pours gas on the fire of antisemitism. Imo, Ivanka ruined Jared, not the other way around.

      • Tiffany :) says:

You can’t forget about Jared’s dad, though. He was under investigation by the FEC and his brother in law was cooperating with investigators. So Jared’s dad paid a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law and had it filmed so he could show his sister. His dad went to prison because this set-up was considered a form of witness tampering. Jared was really impacted by this, and is quite vengeful in a way that is similar to his father (and Trump).

Jared works in Trump land because he and his father share so many personality traits with Donald. Jared’s dad is ruthless like Trump, and Jared has operated his residential buildings like a slumlord like Trump (Jared kicked people out for “remodeling” that never happened, etc.). He bought a newspaper that reported on his dad’s case, just so he could drive it into the ground.

Jared is not a good person, and he hasn’t been since his father went to prison.

      • Sam the Pink says:

Jared is as nasty as the rest. His father was a real scumbag who wound up going to prison. And you know who the US Attorney was who got his dad convicted? Chris Christie – which is why Christie got sidelined so heavily from the Trump administration – Jared holds the pettiest of grudges.

      • Barbiesucks says:

Yes, they both have shady fathers and this has to be a unifying point for them. Jared is/was super close to his father. He visited his dad in prison every week or something and always carried a wallet his father made for him (in prison?) all the time. The younger brother, Karlie’s husband, has had far less baggage.

  4. Darla says:

I would guess it’s coming out now because Ivanka no longer has the power to destroy someone…she’s on her way down. That’s when the knives come out; wielded by all the people YOU knifed on your way up. With this family, that’s bound to be A LOT of folks.

There’s a lot of truth in that old saying, be careful how you treat people on your way up, you will meet them again on your way down. A lot of truth. The Trumps about to learn.

  5. Jane says:

Gross gross gross. She’s gross, he’s gross. Lysandra had a lucky escape from this particular cess pit.

  6. Ohlala says:

To call Palestinians terrorists yet to marry intio racist criminal family and profiting and pushing for occupation and genocide is wow very thick coming from her mouth.
I despise these evil people so much and I am not even American

    • Stacy Dresden says:

Right. Who are the terrorists? The ones to separate thousands of small children from their families and throw them into cages with inadequate living necessities, surely.

  7. shanaynay says:

So, the whole family has always been sleazy and disgusting. Not surprised at all.

The whole family is on a one way ticket to H E double hockey sticks!!!!

  8. Becks1 says:

Well, it finally clicked for her, but sorry it took so long – that this is all about Ivanka wanting to feel like royalty. She disdains the Trump supporters but loves the adulation. I guarantee if they had gotten a second term we would start seeing parades similar to Trooping, with a flyover and balcony appearances.

That said – I can understand the reluctance to part with a longtime friend, but good lord Ivanka sounds like a horrible person, and her father – well we knew he was gross, but if a friend’s dad commented on my body once, I’d be out of there.

  9. Digital Unicorn says:

She is his favourite for many many reasons and yeah they are all high on the fact that they think they are the next Kennedy family.

Am a little surprised to hear that she eats McDonalds but I guess anything to gain Daddy’s approval and attention.

She is def his daughter but much worse than he is, much worse.

    • Chicken Tetrazzini! says:

1$ says those burgers didn’t stay down for long

    • holly hobby says:

Aunt Maryanne was right. Ivanka is definitely a carbon copy of the rotting orange. Only she is probably more capable of knifing people.

  10. Jay says:

For some reason it’s the comment about the “terrorist” necklace “hitting her boyfriend in the face during sex” which both made me laugh out loud and is also most revealingly sad- in Ivanka’s world, men having a problem with what you wear is the worst thing she can imagine, because she’s been taught that her only value is in being sexy.

  11. Seraphina says:

Kids generally have their disgusting moments during their teen years. The hope is that they mature and grow intellectually. I believe all of what I read above. She seems to be shallow and narcissistic like her father. I can see why Jared and she are together, He seems to be void of human integrity and empathy as well.

  12. Amy says:

You need to continue to write stories like this. Believe me, I would love to never hear about Ivanka ever again. But she’s going to move to Florida and start her own political career. We have a short attention span and stories like this will be forgotten and we’ll end up with her as president. Don’t laugh! We know its possible.

    • Seraphina says:

@Amy, my thoughts exactly. And if those idiots can rally behind her father after all he has said and done (and not done) then it is not a hard stretch to see her running for politics. The ugliness of this family needs to have light shed on it so it can slither away and be forgotten.

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

Let’s hope she and Dead-Eyed Boy are in jail for their crimes for a long time (tax fraud/evasion/money laundering/etc). Some pundits are saying #LameDuckALorange will skate actual jail, but the kids will be the ones to go down.

Personally, I think they should go up in front of The Hague, for crimes against humanity (for ripping families apart, caging children-not being able to find parents), and for their depraved indifference to human life/suffering (in the way this virus was/wasn’t handled!)

(And yes…I am a “Law & Order” addict! lol)

    • Rapunzel says:

Amy- I’ve read material that Trump’s base prefers Junior. I honestlY think the base wouldn’t rally behind a Jewish woman. And Jared isn’t that liked by the base either.

My theory: Trump will burn the GOP down on his way out and establish his own party with the new PAC he’s creating. This will ensure one of his kids runs. And hopefully divide the right between Trump and GOP, which will effectively ruin the GOP’s chances for ever getting power like they have now. I think the GOP leaders know this and are scared of what Trump’s cult of personality will do to the party, which is a big reason why they’re humoring his denail re: election results.

      • Cheryl says:

I agree. This seems to be the plan. They are a big hair ball that GOP is trying to figure out how to discreetly purge.

      • LightPurple says:

Jared is a Starter Husband. Once he serves his purpose or someone more lucrative beckons, Jared is gone.

    • Valerie says:

Agreed, but I don’t think these stories make a difference to the people who would vote for her. They’d dismiss it as fake news or use it as evidence that she’s consistent (their favourite word) and just like her father, who tells it like it is.

    • The Recluse says:

      THAT. IS. THE. PLAN.
We don’t dare take our eyes off of this entitled piece of work. Ivanka absolutely plans to run for president. She feels that it is her right now.
We have to make sure that none of these Drumpf offspring get anywhere near public office again. And we gotta hope they get prosecuted for all of their misdeeds and criminal actions.
Like Jared’s hand in Khashoggi’s death.

  13. Darla says:

I just found out I went to HS with the wife of one of Fox News henchmen, and a former Trump guy. Can’t give too many details for ID reasons, but I had seen pics of her at Maralargo when the husband was tapped by Trump, and I remember thinking “what a c”, and had NO idea I went to HS with her. I didn’t recognize her. Well, it’s been a while you know. Anyway, my friend was with me last week and told me, and we looked them up, and I was like OMG I saw those pics and cursed them out in my head, but didn’t recognize her. I don’t remember much of her, my friend knew her better. I was NOT popular in HS. I did remember she had a great wardrobe. Some of the isht she has said though, wow. What an idiot.

  14. Feedmechips says:

I still can’t figure out what’s going on with her mouth in the second photo.

    • whatWHAT? says:

her tongue is “flipped up”…pic taken at an unfortunate moment.

the pic that got me is the one of her grimace-smiling, with her head slightly turned.

with all of the surgery she’s had and those veneers?…that attempt to smile is the stuff of nightmares.

    • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

She still can’t figure out that no matter how much plastic surgery she has, she’s still a hideous pan-face.

All the adult kids are so (putting it mildly) unfortunate looking.

  15. Kittylouise says:

She looks like her father in that top picture. God help her.

What a spectacularly awful woman she sounds. Not surprised really.

  16. Ninks says:

Is it weird that I would accept Trumplethinskin not going to jail if I could see Ivanka behind bars instead?

  17. Sunny says:

I wonder if Ivanka is still super close with Hugh Jackson and his wife?

It wouldn’t be surprising if her friendship with Wendi Deng is tighter than ever.

  18. BlueNailsBetty says:

    “Who’s prettier than Ivanka?”

Umm, anyone with a soul is prettier than that robot.

  19. Christin says:

Sounds like her values are incredibly shallow, which is no surprise.

Here’s hoping others with more recent information come forward to illustrate that moderately pretty on the outside can hide a very rotten core. We do not need a Bush family redux.

  20. My3cents says:

After watching the new session of The Crown I can only say that the real royal family looks like a loving, normal, functioning family next to Cheetto Mussolini’s royal one.

  21. Jezebeelzebub says:

WELL I JUST CANT BELIEVE THAT ANY FRUIT OF ST DONALD OF THE TRUMP’S LOINS COULD POSSIBLY TURN OUT ROTTEN.

    QUELLE SURPRISE.

If I roll my eyeballs any harder or with even a fraction more conviction, I risk permanent damage.

  22. Mumbles says:

A nice detail from the article is how Ivanka used to fart in class and blame other girls for them.

    • ClaraBelle says:

She is reprehensible, but that “crime” cracked me up. Also I thought… “doesn’t everybody?” I’m sure most teens do. LOL

  23. LahdidahBaby says:

Ivanka is the Eva Braun to our own home-grown Hitler. An incestuous sort of Eva Braun, but still. And btw, I don’t throw around Hitler references–I have far too much regard for Holocaust victims to do that. Trump does really seem to me like a man who would go to any lengths to exclude, disenfranchise, and even exterminate those he considers inferior if it were possible for him to do so in the United States…and for the first time ever in my life, I have seen the possibility of that happening here. He and his minions in the GOP certainly tried their damndest to disenfranchise voters of color in this election. Ivanka’s tiny-voiced acquiescence to his evil disgusts me. I hope her public life ends with this shameful so-called “presidency” and she lives out the rest of her well-heeled life in the shadows of shame and scorn.

    • Züri says:

With all due respect, I disagree with the comment, though I see where you’re trying to go.

In using an inaccurate historical parallel, it minimizes the considerable agency Ivanka Trump wields in the government and the damage she has done to countless people’s lives and the United States at large. Hitler kept Eva Braun hidden at the Berghof in Berchtesgaden to convey the image that he was single and wedded only to Germany and the Volk. She also had no control over policy as he considered her (and most women) lacking intellectual substance. So while she may have shared his deplorable worldview, it’s not the same as the Ivanka-Donnie complex. Trump parades her around and has given her an active role in making policy. Eva Peron is perhaps a more apt comparison, though not being a historian of Argentina, I could be incorrect (I’m an academic historian whose area of expertise is Nazi Germany).

      • LahdidahBaby says:

Well, you’ve got me there, Züri. I simply see her as complicit in all of her father’s evil, and I consider his decidedly UNfatherly fixation on her a hidden, unspoken source of her power and her influence in policy matters for which she is embarrassingly, shamefully unprepared to even have that whisper of a voice. But thanks for your reply, which I found very interesting.

      • Züri says:

@LahdidahBaby: Thanks 🙂 I also fully support what you’re saying. She is absolutely pure evil and complicit in her father’s–and the rest of his henchmen’s–crimes. She’s used her “pretty packaging” to deceive a lot of people.

      • Barcelona says:

@Zuri, Eva Peron cared about the vulnerable people in Argentina to some extent, but you could compare Ivanka to Isabel Peron (Juan Peron’s wife who kind of ushered in the military junta through her incompetence).

  24. Florence says:

Ivanka’s face back then (ie before surgery) reflected what she was on the inside.

The big nose and weak chin were like something out of Inbreeders Weekly.

So if she was supposedly the prettiest what the f did the others look like?

    • Becks1 says:

I know two people who knew her back then – one from Choate and one from Georgetown (the one from Choate really liked her actually, which surprises me knowing what we know now about her, because he was a pretty solid guy) – and both said she was really pretty in person, much prettier than in photographs. Then she started doing work which I don’t think helped her. I feel sort of icky typing that, lol, but considering I heard that from those people long before her father was elected, I feel okay sharing ha.

    • holly hobby says:

All the Rumps look like products from inbreeding. Unfortunate DNA.

  25. Sean says:

Does anyone else follow Noel Casler on Twitter? He a talent handler who worked with the Trumps on various projects since the 90s. Since the election, he’s been dropping stories about what they’re like behind the scenes. Including several yucky stories about Ivanka.

For what it’s worth, the Trump’s have made no moves against him since he began posting his stories.

    • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

Yes! I follow him, and he is a fount of info on that family. Considering how sue-happy #LameDuckALorange is, it is VERY interesting that he’s never sued Noel.

    • MaryContrary says:

Wow-just spent 30 minutes reading through all of his tweets. Holy cow. He does have the dirt on them.

  26. Jaded says:

The closer we get to January 20 the more knives will be coming out for Javanka. Big, huge steak knives, and I can’t wait to see the dismembering.

  27. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

The contents of my kitchen trash are more palatable.

  28. stelly says:

The thought of Ivanka or any of her terrible siblings running for office after her Dad is out is keeping me up at night. Everyone keeps saying it’s not a real threat but…the Trump dynasty is a terrifying prospect.

  29. Valerie says:

There’s no doubt that she’s cut from the same threadbare cloth as the rest of the Trumps.

  30. Valerie says:

Also, let’s not gloss over the fact that he commented on a teenage girl’s body in that first excerpt, and that’s just one instance that we know of. God knows what else he’s said. But his idiotic supporters still think he’s playing 5-D chess and working to bring down the pedo ring?

  31. mish-mash says:

Ivanka’s a Trump, and the Trump’s sold their souls a long time ago for money.
I tend to think she’s just Donald in a better looking package.

  32. GuestwithCat says:

Oh man, I saw those pictures and honestly I look less harsh and I’m hitting my mid 50’s and don’t consider myself to be aging particularly gracefully, especially during this last stressful year.

So I looked her up and she’s only 39! I was expecting she was closer to 49. Really, look at Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Aniston and tell me Ivanka is younger than them. I wouldn’t believe it, let alone around a decade younger.

I really don’t pay attention to these people beyond knowing they’re awful, so I had no idea how old these satanic spawn are supposed to be or which kid is oldest and which is youngest. They’re all one unholy litter in my mind and I leave it there.

So, she is about close to or the same age as Kate Middleton, who also looks shockingly beyond her years. What on earth is prematurely aging these women and making them look like matrons my age?

Empathy and compassion must be a secret preservative because these women who demonstrably lack these traits look hard and old. Or age defying cosmetic procedures are a dreadful deception on consumers and need to be more strictly regulated. Goodness.

Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I wish I had more money to put toward keeping myself up a bit more. But looking at Ivanka and Kate, you know what, the money is put to better use than spending it on my face.

    • Lady D says:

May I add lacking a sense of humour to your empathy and compassion? I strongly believe it’s a requirement for being a decent person. Those two women seem like their sense of humour would be in a cruel vein.

  33. Barbiesucks says:

Great tell-all by the HS friend. What an ugly personality. It all comes out in the end and you eventually get the face/appearance you deserve; she just seems more unattractive (I’d say the same thing about a guy) every time I see her, with her expressions and barbie body.

  34. Nightsky says:

YUCK, she sounds like such a dim-witted, selfish, narcissistic loser. The idiot apple did not fall from the idiot tree.

  35. Veronica S. says:

I mean, she is Trump’s favorite kid. That kind of speaks volumes. I think she’s sly enough to avoid prison, but I will enjoy watching her plastic surgery age badly amongst the horse teeth veneers, poorly done nose, and overfilled face.

  36. Sunny says:

I still can’t believe Karlie Kloss chose to marry into that family and have her as her sister-in-law.

And I don’t think Jared’s brother, Karlie’s husband, can be that wonderful. He’s too invested in Daddy’s money.

    • Barbiesucks says:

He’s actually done pretty well with his tech investments; think it’s some property tech platform. He started off with Daddy’s $$$ probably but isn’t reliant on the family cash anymore. Jared might be more as he’s a terrible businessperson and also he’s very close to his dad. He has way more family baggage than Joshua does.

Edit: private equity, health tech, early investments in IG, and property tech. Worth around $900 million (Joshua)

  37. Annaloo. says:

Wow, she is a chip off the old block: self centered, snob and throws her friends under the bus when she ringleader the trouble

    Eff this family

  38. Duchess of Corolla says:

Disgusting, vile trash. The whole family is spectacularly devoid of any merit whatsoever. Amazing. I would truly love for them all to rot in prison.

  39. Alex Schuster says:

I am sure in the near future we will find out he was molesting her, because his comments about her during the Howard Stern old radio show were so disgustingly inappropriate much more than present times. It was uncomfortable listening to him talking about his daughter’s talking about her breasts and body. Only a predator talks that way, but in his bubble of wealth most people mistake money with a safe environment for a child.
