Obama just spoke on the male rappers supporting Trump. He basically said in so many words that they are a bunch of misogynists and the misogyny of Trump appeals to them. I think that’s the answer that is in our faces and looking for less horrible reasons is sort of like looking for signs that Melania is some trapped victim.

These guys who support him do so because he sees women as disposible pieces of ass who shouldn’t have any rights, and so do they. Not to mention his transphobia, homophobia, toxic masculinity etc. which they also approve of. See the recent cuck shaming of Will Smith by a bunch of prominent rappers that also supported Trump (50 Cent etc.).

Sure maybe they ALSO have directly self-interested reasons for supporting him but don’t get it twisted, they approve and identify with his sick and disgusting views as well, like Kanye for example.

and also many who have grown up on the streets always hustling can see the republican take what you can and don’t leave anything for anyone else as something to emulate. just get rich at all stakes.

And the money. Money is a lot of it. Wealth undermines your ability to empathize with people at the bottom because things don’t touch you. Even not being a millionaire, there are things I take for granted that I didn’t when I made half as much. The idea of being self made is a tantalizing deceit because luck would admit less control than we think.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s every move reeks of mean girl entitlement.

I’ll never forget the hypocrisy of the episode on SEX & THE CITY when she was dating “the Russian” and wanted to teach him to be more “regular” and not make such extreme gestures cause she was such a no frills kind of person.

But that nucleus of that episode was her manipulating him to buy her a couture Dior creation which cost at least 5 figures — which she wears to (cause she’s such a regular gal) McDonald’s.

Normally I wouldn’t confuse an actor with the character they play, but by that point she was an EP on the show and very much in charge of what happened creatively — including all the cr@p she pulled to try and make Kim Cattrall look bad on and off-camera.

Gee, she’s wearing another overpriced ensemble at Vogue. And at a “summit.” How really important. I can never remember…is Vogue working to end the pandemic or cure global warming?

I waited on Sarah Jessica Parker when I lived in NYC in 2001. She was not nice.

  4. Sunny says:

Teresa Giudice of Housewives of New Jersey sang his praises, voted for him and yet despite her pleas Trump still refused to help her husband avoid deportation.

When you make a deal with the devil….

    • Snooper says:

I always just assumed that she didn’t actually ask him and that she wanted Joe to be deported as an easy out of the marriage. I don’t think she would have left him if not.

  5. Leah says:

Yeah he’s not going to get a pardon because he’s no longer useful to Trump.

    • whatWHAT? says:

yeah, Dump can’t reward or bribe/entice anyone by dangling or granting a pardon.

now he’s just out for revenge and payback because it’s all he’s got.

  7. elle says:

I wonder what the charge was, and if it was anything like “brandishing a weapon while white and entitled?” Probably not. No penalties for that one.

  8. Veronica S. says:

The GOP been trying to do the same in Pennsylvania for a year, too. Georgia is just notable because nobody saw that turning around for Biden or going to run off. So of course, they’re panicking. After all, they’ve worked so hard to suppress!!
