It is a wild read. It was shared on my interesting articles Whatsapp group this morning and the reactions were strong. I really hope this woman is in therapy because wow, no to her decisions.
She comes across pretty dumb on the surface, to be honest, though I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some mental health issues at play. Definitely a victim of predatory manipulation, mind, but you can see a certain level of vanity and narcissism at play in her own admission of how he got his claws in her. People are just uncomfortable admitting that sometimes we have a hand in our own downfall.

Now she has already sold the movie rights and a book deal and attention is coming.
She knew exactly what she was doing because she is part of the media that will go out of their way to make excuses for white women and reward them with the victim mentality.

I’ve been thinking a lot about her since I read the article last night. Veronica made a great comment about this playing to her narcissism and vanity – she is/was flattered that a infamous brilliant man gave her the time of day and made her feel special. The more people pushed her to see the manipulation at play the more she insisted she had it under control. Then it became an us against the world mentality but she was just being used by a psychopath and she can’t bear to admit that she fell for it – she burned her whole life down and has nothing to show for it. She HAS to stick with it now, cause what else does she have? In for a penny, in for a pound.

My sister’s husband’s first child from his first marriage just began his transition (he was raised female, came out as lesbian a couple years ago, and just recently realized he’s actually a straight male).
