Years ago, I used to interact with Lindsay Graham in his role in SC. He was more willing then most to work across the aisle when it came to the elderly, the disabled, and children then. I truly think Trump has something on Graham in his private life. He has sold his soul to the devil and I just wish he’d sit down and shut the F*** up. He has ruined whatever legislative and professional legacy he had.
My family is from SC and I lived there for a few years as a teen. Past Lindsey was always and a*hole but you are correct that he at least would to try to do something in the past. Everyone back home already knows about Lady G and all his preferences so it must be something illegal cause even the most backward of folks from Columbia to Charleston already know and either don’t care are are hoping he comes out so they can too.
I always go back to the golf game between the two of them, when suddenly Graham had a major change of tune. It must be something pretty awful, but there’s no excuse for what he’s done.
You can have something be an open secret and be fine. Once that is broadcasted or have a visual released… the whole game changes. And I’m sure there’s also something illegal, but his private preferences are probably what trump holds over him.
And the irony is, that overnight change of heart only makes him look MORE suspicious. to be fair, it was Graham’s own name for himself when he was using escorts in the past. It was revealed by one of the escorts he used or who was in the circle. The escort has tweeted about it, tagging Graham and he has never disputed it. Graham has not always been super closeted.
