We can always count on “Kardashian Photoshop Fail” stories to crop up at least once a month. These women and their photo-editing tools, my God. Some days, I really do think that Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian really are sitting there and playing with their own photos until they look like cartoons. This month’s Kardashian Fail comes courtesy of Khloe and her denim line, Good American. Khloe thinks she’s the best model for Good American, and she posted some new Instagram photos from the latest ad campaign yesterday. People were like “wow, so your hands and feet are freakishly long and your waist is disproportionately tiny now huh.” Khloe tried to clarify on Twitter:
HA I’m cracking up! 4a few of those GA photos, we shot on a camera lens that creates a stretching effect. The closer the object is to camera they will get elongated. So in some of my photos my feet/fingers look incredibly long. Not to worry! I still have normal size hands/fingers

I like how she completely focused on the “what’s up with her hands” comments and completely ignored the “wow, so she made her proportions look wack, like always” criticism. I mean, it IS the lens distorting everything. But let’s be clear: Khloe manipulates the f–k out of her photos too. She gives herself a Barbie waist, Barbie arms, a tighter jawline and a cartoon face and everything else.

I will never get it. I got hips and a butt on a small frame so I’m grateful for making that a fashionable body type but I don’t understand the extremes they go to to balance curvy and skinny and unflattering clothes.

I know it’s the lens / angle but she looks like she has this teeny-tiny upper body on top of these creepily long legs…and then huge feet that literally look bigger than her head. So ‘artistique’ LOL.

The lens is a strange choice when trying to sell clothes. But beyond that — how can she seriously mock people for pointing out her weird proportions and strangely edited photos when ALL the Kardashians do is manipulate their photos and videos on top of all their already altered, plastic surgery’d bodies? Them playing dumb about this gets a bit old.
I agree, how are you trying to sell something if the photos are so manipulated and don’t show the true product? These are just for her vanity and nothing else. That last photo though LMAO! Her face is obviously shopped because of how light and tiny it is compared to her head and hair, it looks like a doll head. The rest is obviously the lens so it’s like they make so much obvious that you can’t tell if anything isn’t manipulated.
I mean, yeah, it looks like maybe a fisheye lens or something, but why? If I’m being as generous as possible I’d still have to call it a strange artistic choice. I guess it got her some attention anyway, which I think is the whole point with her.
This woman is annoying, but i feel sympathy for her- she seems to just hate the person she is and the body she is in. She keeps trying to “fix” it with surgery and photoshop. And no one should have to live like that.
If they are trying to sell pants with that black and white photo, those pants look hella uncomfortable. Bunched up in all the wrong places cutting off circulation and creating sausage bulges.
Bra looks cute and good quality tho. Maybe they were trying to make everything else look so distorted and weird to draw attention to have nice and flat the bra is laying without looking squeezed? Does Good American do bras?
It reminds me of some jeans ads from the late 90s/early 2000s. Don’t remember what brand but they drastically altered proportions too. But in a cartoony way. This is just kind of a weird way to try to make her look slimmer?
